CH 28 - Brief Argument Between Cinnamon and Cheyanne After Detention

Within the next few hours, Cinnamon went and grab lunch from the cafeteria before she went back in in Ms. Harris' classroom where she has to spend the rest of her school day doing her apparent first day of in-school suspension.

When school dismiss, Cinnamon exit out of Ms. Harris' classroom with her purse over her shoulder, feeling embarrassed. It was at this point when Cheyanne - who also has her purse over her shoulder as well - walks towards Cinnamon.

"So how's detention go?" Cheyanne asked her.

"Huh?" Cinnamon replied as she glanced at Cheyanne.

"How's detention go?" Cheyanne prompted.

"It went from bad to super-ass worse," Cinnamon said.

"Wait, super-ass worse?" Cheyanne asked.

"Yeah," Cinnamon said.

"Did you did something so dumbass and stupid?" Cheyanne asked.

"Well it's not so dumbass and stupid but...," Cinnamon paused for a moment.

"But what?" Cheyanne asked.

"....but I fight off that detention teacher," Cinnamon said. "It didn't go well."

Cheyanne then gave a curious look on her face as she's realizing that Cinnamon had just made a contraction.

Cinnamon, looking at Cheyanne's suspicious look as she realizing that Cinnamon has just been caught.

"Alright alright so I did something so dumbass and stupid," Cinnamon said.

"Yeah, fighting against a teacher would get you suspension," Cheyanne said. "Did she give you that?"

"Unfortunately yes," Cinnamon said.

"Unfortunately yes?" Cheyanne asked.

"Yes Cheyanne, are you happy now?" Cinnamon said, annoyed.

"Look I have no emotional investment on whether I'm happy about this or not," Cheyanne said.

"Oh so why did you ask that question?" Cinnamon asked.

"Because you recently said your experience in detention is super-ass worse," Cheyanne said. "So I have to ask that question."

"You don't need to ask that question," Cinnamon said.

"What?" Cheyanne asked.

"I said you don't need to ask that question," Cinnamon repeated. "You already know it's super-ass worse."

"Well then why you didn't say 'that's none of your business'?" Cheyanne asked.

Cinnamon sighed, realizing Cheyanne had a point. "I don't know, Chey. It's just been a rough day."

"Yeah, a rough day that also include you passing gas in class," Cheyanne said.

If you encounter this narrative on Amazon, note that it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.

"Well that one was an accident," Cinnamon said.

"An accident?" Cheyanne asked.

"Yeah, I didn't intend to rip ass," Cinnamon said. "My ass decided to blow some stinky air horn."

"Uh-huh, sure, Cinnamon," Cheyanne said while nodding her head. "Blaming it on your big muscle ass, huh?" She chuckled skeptically. "Next thing you'll tell me is that the dog ate your homework."

"Yeah, yeah, laugh it up," Cinnamon said. "Laugh your big muscle ass up. Just wait till karma catches up with you."

"Alright, alright, alright," I said, interrupting their conversation as I walked towards them. "School has been dismissed," I said as I placed both hands on Cinnamon and Cheyanne's respective shoulders. "We have buses to get into right now, unless one of us either take a walk or have a ride home. Which in this case, I have the latter."

Cinnamon and Cheyanne glanced at each other.

"You guys can't carelessly expand on your guys' sequences measured in hours and minutes in this hallway persuading each other to share a view," I continued. "Now I would like to talk to you guys right now, but my aunt is waiting for me outside so I'll have to talk to you guys on the phone."

"Okay," Cheyanne said to me.

Cinnamon then suddenly raise her eyebrows in shock as she quickly starting to have a realization. "Shit," she said before she starts about face and walks away as fast as she can.

As she quickly walks away, we started to feel some breeze that came inward towards us...and simultaneously smell something very unpleasant as shit.

"Damn, did that muscle bitch just farted?" Cheyanne asked as she placed her left arm inwards towards her nose, blocking the smell.

"I have a vague affirmation that she did," I said as I'm fanning my nose with my right hand.

And indeed she did; we didn't hear a sound so that meant that Cinnamon had just crop dusted the hallway as she quickly walks away. From my point of view, several students and staff members started to feel disgust as they either fan their noses or pull their shirts or sweaters over their noses.

"So her ass is blowing up some stinky air horn again," Cheyanne said. "Is just that it's blowing up some stinky air horn that doesn't have a horn in it."

"Wanna go the other way?" I asked Cheyanne as I stopped fanning and placed both hands on both of my hips while glancing directly towards her.

"Huh?" Cheyanne replied as she directly glances at me back.

"Wanna go the other way?" I asked for the second time.

"Yeah, sure," Cheyanne said before she takes her left arm off of her nose.

We then take the other direction and take the other stairwell.

"So I heard that you have been friends with Cinnamon and Cymberly," Cheyanne said.

"Yeah," I said.

"Would you like to share what you guys up to?" Cheyanne asked.

"Well I'm giving you an affirmative response right now," I said. "So me, Cinnamon and Cymberly have been friends since the freshman orientation. Matter of fact, best friends especially since their fight with Delvin the Demon, which I showed great admiration for them in turn."

We then exit out of the stairwell and went into the other hall.

"Did they explain to you about their powers?" Cheyanne asked.

"No," I said.

"Did you ask them?" she asked.

"Not really," I said. "I do know much about their powers themselves."

"Through the encyclopedia, right?" She asked.

"From the Southern Watermelon Public Library," I said. "From what I seen, Cinnamon has air and Cymberly has fire. And from what I heard this morning, you have earth while Cayleen has water."

"So apparently you didn't know me and Cayleen have superpowers until Cinnamon shares it," Cheyanne said.

"No," I said as I shook my head. "I find this a bit intriguing. How come you and Cayleen didn't tell me about them? I would definitely like to know because you and Cayleen having superpowers are fucking awesome."

But before Cheyanne answer, a phone is ringing. She slowly stops as she takes her purse off and holds the double handlers with one hand while unzipping the zip with her other hand and takes out her smartphone to see who's calling her. It's her mom

I stopped as well and stand in front of her while watching her as a bunch of students walk past by.

"Hello," Cheyanne answered her smartphone. "Wait, you're here? I'll be right over." After a few seconds, she hanged up. "That's my mom," she said to me while putting her smartphone back into her purse before she zips it back. "She's here."

"Picking you up right now?" I asked.

"Yeah," she said as she place her purse back over her respective shoulder.

"Well that was unexpected," I said.

"You can say that again," she said.

Moments later, we exit out the school entrance, we can still smell Cinnamon's foul stench, but it's not too strong here. As we exit out of the school entrance, we started walking down the sidewalk passing the school busses while heading into the parking lot where we can see my aunt in a parked car and her mom in her parked car. And then we said bye to each other before we entered into our respective vehicles.
