"Hello everyone, welcome DNN Sport Online. I'm Tonia Davitz, here at the Winter Palace in the ancient heartland of the Empire to bring you all the gossip and rumour from the run-up to the Imperial League season finale. And there sure is a lot to get through for today's stream, coming up we'll be speaking to personnel from all the major teams, and as many riders as I can get my hands on, but the people I'm really interested in speaking to this week have spent the last few days insisting they have nothing to do with the Imperial League.
"I'm talking, of course, about Duke Pirenne and Marquess Helia Hyperio. House Hyperio capped off last weekend with an absolute bombshell, basically threatening to disown Tenebrae’s Phoebe Tenryuu. There have been rumours swirling around that team since they joined the League at the start of the season, and things seem to be coming to a head at the worst possible time.

"The fascinating thing is, despite insisting only a week ago that they have nothing to do with Tenebrae, both the Duke and his heir are coming here, to the Winter Palace, as guests of the Eternal Emperor himself. Rumour has it His Eternal Majesty isn't pleased with Duke Pirenne. We might be looking at a situation where the Emperor is backing Phoebe against her father, hopefully we can pick up some hints about that today.
"Gosh, I'm tripping over myself already, there's so much to talk about. Before we even get into the big Hyperio drama, there's also the arrival of Thessaly Pantelleria. The idol's been invited to sing the anthem before the race on Sunday, and of course, everyone knows that she and Phoebe have some sort of relationship going on, we're going to try to speak with her at some point too.
"And if you're not a Phoebe fan, don't worry, I promise we'll also talk about the races a bit. All the teams stay in suites in the palace for this event and we've more or less got the freedom of the halls, I want to speak to Lucia Aelschu especially, but we'll get round all the teams and see how they're shaping up for the end of the season."
