Petunia
[24Cara-t]: Heyyyyy cousin Petal~~~ <3<3<3
[PrincessPetunia]: Hi Cara, what's up?
[24Cara-t]: When were you gonna tell me you're running a dragon racing team?
[PrincessPetunia]: I didn't think you'd be interested.
[24Cara-t]: You're famous, though!
[24Cara-t]: Hanging out with all these cool people and stuff.
[24Cara-t]: Can you get me in backstage at a race?
Petunia thumbed her phone to sleep and slipped it back into her purse. It wasn't hard to guess what her cousin was after. Not that the celebrities were much in evidence right now in Tenebrae's stable. If they were, Dr Arden would probably have browbeaten them about something too. Right now she was squawking like an irate dove at Stefan for some mistake in the way he was handling the heavy packing crates he was helping to haul up from the trailer.

Phoebe turned from where she was standing with them to face Petunia, visibly trembling with the effort of not laughing. Trying to offer a distraction, Petunia jerked her head in a 'come over here' gesture. Phoebe walked over, arms wrapped around her stomach.
"Do you remember my cousin Cara?" Petunia asked, before the rider's mirth could boil over.
Phoebe shook herself, chuckling gently. "I… was she..?"
"She came to the estate with us a few times, I can't remember if that was before she started wearing the eyepatch."
"Oh, the eyepatch, yeah, I remember her. Why?"
Petunia allowed herself a short sigh. "She just messaged me asking if she can come to one of our races, I think she just wants to see if she can meet some celebrity guests."
"Should be ok." Phoebe grinned. "We've still got some spare passes for the Ura races, right? They're never popular for visitors."
"Is it really fine?"
"Relax, Petunia, you don't think she's going to cause any trouble, do you?"
Petunia folded her arms, looking down at the floor. "Not trouble, exactly, I guess. I just worry she might be annoying, yeah."
Phoebe laughed, raising an arm to gesture behind her at the rowdy load-in. "I don't think that's going to be much of a problem, Petunia, let's be real. She'll fit right in."
