As Trey stood at the center of the room a lot of whispers suddenly filled the room.
"Thank You so much sir" the girl groveled and Trey's feet
"What's your name?" Trey asked the maid with still a bitter look in his eyes.
"It's Dora, Dora Turner" the girl would say, her voice still trembling.
"Why didn't you fight back? If you don't do anything, nothing will change. Take it from me it's always better to fight."
The girl was quiet for a long minute almost like she was thinking of a proper response, when Trey had given up on the answer. She finally spoke.
"I can't, if I were to fight a lot of kids would go to sleep hungry tonight. Even if I have to live in this hell..." she couldn't tame her tears as they flooded her cheeks.
"Even if it's working at a place like this, to preserve the smile of those children. I'm willing to do it all"
Trey looked at her, not really understanding the full gravity of her situation. What he did understand though was that a woman was being beat up by a bunch of nobodies.
If Dora wasn't willing to fight then he would fight for her, because he understood her pain much more than anyone else in that room.
"I don't really understand why you'd still persist to work at a place like this. But don't you think those children would be said if you ended up dying for their sake because you weren't willing to fight. I know the pain of losing a mother. If those kids lost their mother what do you think would happen?"
Trey trudged foward leaving his words to settle Dora. His feet bounced off the floor made of shiny jewls. With every step he took the floor threatened to break apart and submit to his weight.
Trey held up his blade above his head.
"Let's see you laugh after this.."
His blade became dressed in darkness once again, he shot a glare to group of 5 men to his left. A smirk escaped his lips and with just one swing of the blade. More blood came gushing out of the establishment.
The 5 men had their bodies cut in half all by a single strike. Their guts were exposed as a feeling of dread suddenly hung in the air.
Without saying a word, everyone in the room knew. Trey was going to kill them.
Almost instinctively they all shot up from their seats. Others sluggishly bolted for the exit. While others turned their attention to Trey with their bubbling anger reaching a boiling point.
"How dare you injure one of your own! You don't don't deserve the pride that comes with being a fillower of the Lance." A thin man uttered, his voice one of disapproval and anger.
Trey smiled, "Let's have some fun."
The room was suddenly consumed by shadows, even as some Lance fillowrs reached the door. They found a wall of darkness hindering their path.
They were trapped, and as the reality dawned on them. All hell broke loose. Trey launched himself in a playful dash with the most content smile on his face. Everytime he swung his blade screamed followed his response.
The Lanace followers weren't even looking to fight back at that point. They had long realised the hopelessness of their situation. They were just pushing each other doing all they could to bring down Trey's wall of darkness.
It was no use.
They were no different than mouses trapped in a cage with a cat, and the cat in question was hungry for its meal. So they knew their lifespans were about to be cut in short.
More screams followed as more blood stained the chairs and tables. Trey was laughing maniacally clearly enjoying the thrill of the hunt. His eyes were that of a predator slowly taking bites at its desired targets.
In a few seconds. The sounds died down, there was peace at last.
Trey stood in the muddle of a pile if dead bodies. His cloak had long lost its colour. Even by the loom on his eyes. One could tell he was still not satisfied.
"That's it? After all that ruckus that's the best they could do?" Trey couldn't help but chickle to himself.
"What have you done? The red hair from earlier jumped out he seat and took calculated steps towards Trey.
"You've just doomed us all now the lancers will come!" She said, he voice trembled at the thought.

"Let them calm, I'm already done with this City. A lot of the people here don't deserve the lives they're so proud off. Trash can, Lancers, followers... I don't care about any of that. But if you're willing to take another's freedom. You should be prepared for when they try to take yours first."
The girl was too stunned to even speak, but after a shot minute she did. "Who are you?" She finally asked.
"Who am I? I guess I'm just someone whose willing to cut down things they don't like" he gave an indict an unsatisfying answer.
The red hair girl finally unveiled her cloak. Her crimson hair was tied up with golden jewels.
"I know this may be a lot of me to ask but.." she bowed her haired, "can you assist me in leaving Krey?"
"Priestess?" Dora yelled, unable to contain her surprised reaction.
"Priestess...?" Only then did it become clear to Trey who he was looking at.
The minutes he made eyes with the priestess his anger threatened to rich its trashold.
"All this time you were the Priestess and you simply watched while someone died infront of you. Have you lost your mind?"
"It's complicated, as a priestess it's my responsibility to make sure that there is balance in the city. If I were to get involved in a small matter like this. Then that balance would tilt and I as the priestess would be forced to take a side. That is something I just can't do"
Trey's blade collided with the ground as it fell. Its sound echoed the room. Without warning Trey gripped the priestess by the collar of her cloak.
"To hell with that!! Do you actually think you're someone important because you hold the tittle priestess?" Trey shoved her to the ground.
"To me, your life is not worth any more than those worthless bodies over there."
Trey's words stung deep into the priestess's heart. Her right leg was bruised by her fall and blood trickled down to her her ankles.
"You think I want something like this!" She exploded in anger, "you think I want to have guys like that go around and say they serve the priestess. You think I'm happy when I see someone being beaten to death? I didn't ask for any of this!! I never wanted to be the priestess! I never wanted any of this!! But I can't change what's happened. Which is why I think it's better I just left Krey. Because if I continue to stay here then more will suffer."
She was huffing and puffing after her burst of emotions. It had been a while since the priestess let out all her anger and frustration like that.
"Isn't that just running away?" Trey's question caught the priestess off guard.
"If you don't like the way things are then why not change it? You're the priestess aren't you?"
"The priestess doesn't hold as much power as you think. Even now am at the mercy of people far stronger than me." The priestess defended herself.
"You say that. But have you actually tried to fight back?"
"What do you think I've been doing all thud time!" After she yelled her voice slowly died down.
"I've been fighting, that's why I came here in the first I wanted to uncover the true horrors that occurred in this city because of the priestess. I've now discovered that this City isn't as joyful as what I originally thought. I've realised that it's better that I left Krey than to continue have people dying because of me."
Trey simply shot a glare at her before he picked up his blade and began walking away. " I won't help someone whose already given up, if you feel that leaving the city is your best option who am I to stop you? But know that I will play no role in your escape because to me you're nothing but a coward."
Before Trey could reach the exit thr priestess called out to him once again. "How do you do it? How do you keep moving foward without a care in the world? Do you not value your own life?" She just couldn't understand him.
"I live my life for myself and no one else. I have something that pushes me to take that extra step. If I stopped moving now. Then all the lives I've taken up to this point, would've died for nothing. My path wasn't chosen by me, it was determined from the very beginning. But even so, I fight so that at least, at the very end. I can find my happiness by slaying all those who have done so much to take it away."
The priestess who was listening to Trey's long winded speech finally spoke. "Do you think endless killing will help you find your happiness? Do you actually think that you're some noble person doing the world a favor? You're just killing and calling it happiness because you can't stand the sight of the pile of bodies you've stacked up"
Trey turned around to face the priestess once again. "I know all to well that I'm not some noble person. I know full well that the things I've done can't be redeemed. But even then I will keep moving, I will cut down all those who fuel my hatred. And I won't stand while others are subjected to losing their freedom. I know the pain of not having a choice, not being able to choose how I wanted to live. But if my blade is able to rescue someone else from that painful existence the I would do it in a heartbeat.
"It's not that I think my path is heroic. I want to at least take down all those who find it justified to take the freedom and lives of others. If that happens to drag me down a path that will eventually consume me. But at least, I want to die when the time comes knowing full well I played my part in preventing another from suffering as much as I did"
"Then... if that's the case can you please. Help le" tears flooded her cheeks as she pleaded, "help me turn this City to how it was. I'm willing to use your bloodied blade if i must because to tell you the truth I lost my purity a long time ago"
Trey stopped and she turned to her once again. "I'll lend a hand but you must be willing to fight for yourself."
The priestess smiled upon hearing those words. Just as Trey exited the building his body was forcefully sent to plummet to the other side of the walls.
An attack had shattered the crystal doors of the establishment and had propelled Trey back forcefully.
Footsteps echoed the crystal house as a figure slowly entered the room.
"Soory, I little guy I can't let intruders like you escape. It would be trouble for me if the queen found out I've let you escaped."
Trey dragged himself out of the rubble even though his darkness had prevented him from sustaining a major injury, the pain on his spine was intense. If he didn't block that attack. He'd be dead.
Trey's eyes landed on the man infront of him. He wore a white robe with the logo of a spear running down his chest. It had bold ones written.
[Lancer]
"You must be one of the lancers I keep hearing about me"
The man chuckled at Trey's comment before he spoke, "that's me all right, my name is Ray and I'm one of the Lancers. I don't know why you guys came to Krey but I'll make sure you won't leave in one piece."
Trey reaffirmed the grip on his blade."Sorry but I won't be leaving anytime soon, I still have something I wish to find. But if you intend to stay in my way. Then I'll just cut you to pieces"
A black aura leaked off him as he stared against his foe. A battle against a Lancer was about to begin.
