"KILL HIM!" Lycaon, the Lord of the Wolves roared, ordering the large pack of werewolves to swarm the two clearly unwelcome "guests". About a hundred werewolves surrounded the two, waiting to rip them apart. "Seal," Jason casted, a red array enveloped the whole room. The werewolves instantly became sluggish, as if they were moving through a viscous marsh. The demonic flames on his left arm lit up, the silver covering his hand slowly melted, dripping to the ground. "Cast wolfsbane," whispered Jason. "Hortus Toxicodendron radicans," Zahra casted, a sea of wolfsbane suddenly appeared, causing the werwolves to space out for a split second. Taking the opportunity, Jason suddenly brandished his arm, the drops of molten silver sprayed across the room like a shotgun.
The droplets of silver tore through the werwolves' torsos, shattering their organs. With the simple attack, almost all the werewolves were either dying or have already died. Lycaon, who looked to be an old man in his late eighties, stood up in anger. Creating a werewolf wasn't easy, and almost all of them were slaughtered in front of him. Fueled with anger, he began to transform. His silver hair turned into his pelt, his body quadrupled in size, and muscles began to swell up. His remaining eye turned red, as he felt the rage power his body. The aura radiating off him was definitely on par with Savitr, or at least the Savitr Jason knew five centuries ago.
"DIE!" he roared, instantly appearing in front of Jason. Slashing down with his claws that were as long as short swords, in a hurry, Jason shielded himself with his skeletal arms, deep claw marks covered Jason's skeletal arm as sparks could be seen as the claws dragged across the bones. Although Lycaon was in sea of wolfsbane, he didn't seem to be affected at all. "During the five centuries while you were gone, I've became stronger than you could ever dream of," Lycaon said, swiping at Jason with his paws. He wasn't wrong, with that single swipe, Jason was sent tumbling back. He was much larger and stronger than Jason expected, but Jason still thought that he had quite a decent chance of beating the oversized wolf. "Back up," Jason ordered Zahra, who was standing in the way. "I'll deal with you later, satyress," Lycaon growled, focusing on Jason.
"NO ONE BEATS US!" the voice in Jason's head rang once again, sending a pulse of soul power across the room. Lycaon felt a shiver, the soul power was clearly from a demon on par with demon lords. "How ironic, the curse reaper now relies on curses?" Lycaon sneered. "I AM A BLESSING!" the voice became so loud a blurry, red, silhouette form behind Jason. The figure had high resemblance with Vepar, a demon with a serpentine lower body. Lycaon lashed out again, his claws eager to crush Jason's bones. But as he swiped down with his terrorizing claws, Jason's hand turned into a purple mist, Lycaon completely missing his attack. "Seal," Jason casted, red chains wrapped around Lycaon's collar.
Feeling more than three quarters of his strength vanish, Lycaon recalled the past times when he encountered Jason. Sealing his strength, Jason could easily kill him. Lycaon instantly retreated back to his throne before Jason could make his move, he knew that Sealing Magic always drained a lot of Jason's mana. "Without mana potions, how long can you last?" Lycaon snickered on his glistening throne. "Enough to take you down," Jason replied, two burning wings extended from his back. But to be frank, Jason could already feel his body cracking.
The skeleton of the demon he currently used was stronger than his original body, but was still far too fragile for his body. When he originally possessed this vessel, he already needed to use Sealing magic to keep the body from disintegrating to dust. Sealing a being as powerful as Lycaon was definitely not an easy task, although his soul was powerful enough, that didn't mean his current vessel could stand the intensive usage. Cracks already started to build up, and soon enough not even Jason's Sealing magic could keep this current vessel in one piece. He was really running low on time, which Lycaon easily predicted.

Rushing towards Lycaon, Jason turned into a ball of flames. A transparent flaming claw appeared, clawing at Lycaon's chest. Unable to react in time due to the Sealing magic hindering his reaction and movements, Lycaon's chest was torn open. Black blood with traces of gold inside it poured out from Lycaon's chest, indicating that he was indeed a being who was cursed by some god. Not willing to be attacked in vain, Lycaon retaliated, his claws ripping through the air with such speeds and strength that he accidentally created a temporary vacuum. However, the attack still failed to hit Jason since he once again turned into purple mist.
The purple mist took humanoid form, though its features were still very blurry. No matter how Lycaon tried to attack the purple figure that was slowly floating towards him, the physical attacks couldn't do anything against a cloud of smoke. Just like Vepar once did to him, Jason intruded Lycaon through his nostrils, ears, eyes, and mouth, rampaging like a storm inside Lycaon's body. The intense agony caused Lycaon to writhe in pain, trying to claw his own innards out. Black blood with tints of gold poured out from Lycaon's eyes, dripping to the ground, forming small puddles. The cursed blood sizzled, actually managing to hurt Jason's gaseous figure since the blood contained a sliver of God's powers. But unless a miracle appeared, Lycaon will soon be dead.
Jason rammed into Lycaon's esophagus, trying to tear it open. One of the biggest downsides of his gaseous form was that he didn't have any attacks, he could only slowly wither down his enemies by suffocating them or by creating a big ruckus in their bodies, colliding into every organ he came across. Lycaon slowly felt his strength drain, he became weaker and weaker. Zahra was in the corner of the room, dealing with the remaining werewolves. With Lycaon weakened, it also somehow affected his pack of werewolves, who all lost the majority of their strength. Zahra easily overpowered them, vines and branches smacked and whipped the werewolves, who were barely alive.
"THIS SHALL BE YOUR DEMISE!" the voice in Jason's head roared, as Lycaon slowly but surely was going to meet his end, or so they thought. It's been quite a while since they ventured from Zahra's village over to the nightmare palace. Although there was still sunlight when they arrived, it struck midnight during Jason's and Lycaon's battle since it took them some time. As the full moon arose, a burst of energy swelled up inside Lycaon, forcefully expelling Jason from his body. The silver moonlight shone down from the heaven, shrouding Lycaon. Jason wouldn't have made such an amateur mistake, fighting the Lord's of the Wolves during a full moon night, but the booming sound in his head obviously interfered with his judgement.
Jason finally snapped out of the bloodlust, he finally felt like something was wrong. He originally thought that the voice in his head was just a split personality that yearned deeply for revenge, but now he had some doubts. "You are not me," Jason finally realized, turning to the demonic silhouette that hindered his rationality and morality. The demonic glow that Jason thought originated from his soul shapeshifted into the form of Vepar, appearing in Jason's mind. "We meet again hero, although it took you much shorter to realize than I anticipated," Vepar said with a sly grin. "GET OUT!" Jason shouted at the foreign ego that resided in his mind. "I would, but I can't, since you have already accepted me as a part of yourself," Vepar said with a grin. "I was the one who manipulated you to murder the innocent goatmen who simply wanted to make a living, the one who caused you to turn the little girl into a freak, the one who will lead you to achieve revenge..." Vepar was silenced by Jason. "SHUT UP! I'm the one who seeks vengeance, not you," Jason said, as red chains began to wrap around Vepar's ego. Before he was sealed, Vepar whispered with a sly grin, "One day you will need me." "Before that day comes, you will go into eternal slumber," Jason said, more red chains wrapping around Vepar.
