Arc 1 Chapter 2.5: A House of Monsters

(Assassins POV)

How… how… our plan was perfect, yet almost every one of my comrades died. Ugh… if it wasn’t for the fact that I was controlling the girl, I would have died too. Strangely though, I don’t feel that our connection was severed. That means the girl still lives. They were probably going to interrogate her… ugh, I have to make sure she doesn’t spill anything. Although I managed to catch her at a very convenient time, she’s seen our plans and our base of operations. That’s why I’m going to make her kill herself once she wakes up. Honestly it’s quite a waste. She had some really good skills and her swordsmanship was amazing… But a jobs a job. She needs to die. Anyway, let’s see if she’s finally awake.

I took over the girls conscious. Yep, still not awake. But you know what, I can just force her awake. Without any problems, my eyes quickly opened and I began to look at the girls surroundings. They were still in the house and I could see the man and the girl standing in front of me.

“Eh.”

I couldn’t help but feel dread as the girl looked at me with a seductive grin. She was holding a sickle which really looked eerily dangerous.

“Make sure not to harm the true soul. I don’t want her dying on us in the process.”

The girl smiled. At that moment, I knew something wasn’t right. Was the girl already awake and I just didn’t notice, did they already kill her and I just took over a lifeless body. These thoughts raced through my mind as the girl aimed the sickle at my legs. Looking at the weapon, I’m really glad I’m not there to experience it. Suddenly, I felt excruciating pain as the sickle went through my legs.

‘WHAT THE FUCK!’

I couldn’t even scream as the pain was immeasurable.

“Don’t worry, I’m pretty good with my aim.”

The girl pulled the weapon back as I collapsed to the floor. Looking at my host, it looks like she suffered nothing… yet why? WHY DO I FEEL PAIN? Extreme pain once again went through my mind as the sickle went through my other leg.

I felt my mind blank out momentarily, but I quickly recovered for some strange reason.

“Don’t think you can blank out on us.”

The man pointed a hand towards me as if he can see me. Don’t tell me…

“You… you can see me.”

“Ha, see you. We can hear, see and feel you now.”

He gave a sinister smile as he gave a quick signal to the girl. She then went over to me and punched me. I couldn’t help but collapse as I felt the wind knocked out of me. It’s as if I was there.

“Actually. It’s because you are here.”

He could read my mind, but that’s not what I was worried about.

“W… at…”

I looked around. How? When? I couldn’t help but stay still in shock as I was no longer at the base. I was in enemy territory. The girl quickly went over to me and attached a choker. I tried to fight back but her strength was insane.

“Oh, dearie. Don’t worry. This will only hurt a lot.”

My neck suddenly started to sear with pain. I screamed. Never have I felt pain as deep as this. It felt like a thousand needles were scraping its way into my neck.

“Don’t worry, it’s only a feeling. Your neck is actually still fine.”

I could tell she was enjoying this. Her face was filled with ecstasy.

“…monster…”

I once again said the same thing over again… this time though, it held my fear in the flesh. The girl continued to smile as she began patting me in the head.

“Don’t worry, this is only an appetizer. Wait till we get to the main course Ms. Assassin.”

I felt myself being picked up. The choker was removed, but soon after I felt two weapons dig itself into my stomach. I immediately coughed out blood as my mind was filled with agonizing pain.

“Hmm… yep, you can take it. Sweet. Hey Bryan, can I do level 2 torture?”

“Hmm… I’m not sure Lily. Level 3 is good enough… but I guess if she doesn’t cooperate then go for it”

The girl smiled. I shuddered as I listened on their nonchalant conversation. These two weren’t even taking this seriously. My body shuddered as fear now took hold of me. I shouldn’t have done this. I should have gathered more information. This wasn’t a simple assassination… this was an attempt at attacking a house of monsters.

“Oh Ms. Assassin. I swear, you’re going to regret attacking us.”

I felt the bloodlust coming from the girl. Without warning she kissed me. I tried to break away but before I knew it, I felt hot liquid pouring through my throat. She then released me as I went into a coughing fit.

“With this the fun begins, oh and don’t faint now.”

“Wha… what did you…?”

“Oh, the serum. Don’t worry, it’s only a drink that makes you tell lies for an hour”

I looked at her dumbfounded. Why would she do that? Isn’t that only going to help me?

“Oh, you’re probably wondering why I did that. Well it’s simple… so I can enjoy torturing you even more.”

She gave out another sadistic laugh as she pulled out the two swords from my stomach. If it wasn’t for the fact that the man called Bryan healed me, I would have lost conscious.

“Ahh… you’re face. I could already see it begging to die. But with the lie serum, well I’ll have to be rough with you won’t I.”

It was at this moment that I realized, that serum wasn’t to help me. It was to keep her satisfied. The girl herself knew that her methods were harsh and would instantly break a person… I see. That means that for an hour, I’ll be spouting bullshit lies… an hour that will be filled with the girls smile… an hour of agonizing and hearth wrenching pain… an hour of a never-ending nightmare.

So yeah, this was a slight torture scene. Not really, but its a start. Now here is the question... Do you guys want a full chapter on how she was tortured. I'll make a poll, but its the first time I'm doing it so... if its not up, just say so in the comments.
