Dr. Twice’s home was very well decorated and neat. She took them to her basement, where she kept her professional equipment. It looked like a hospital room with advanced machinery situated around it. She then placed Dante down on what looked like a patient bed. The cold metal surface sent a shiver through his body. She then went over to one of her cabinets and took out a syringe. Dante, who was very much not a fan of pain, tried to move, but to his utter horror, his body wouldn’t respond. Dr. Twice drew Dante’s blood so professionally that it amazed him by how little he felt it. Actually, he couldn’t feel anything, which made him completely confused as to how or why. But it was Sang who spoke up by asking, “What did you do to Morning? He is not moving. Did you somehow drug him? I hope you teach me so if he disobeys again, I’ll just freeze him like you just did.” Dr. Twice was so focused on running the blood sample she just said, “Pressure point.”
The test finally was complete after that, and the result came back as a draconic fae. It was then that Dante could finally move. As he turned, he finally saw himself in a mirror hanging beside the door. He looked like a black axolotl with a tan underbelly. His eyes were red, and he had three red fin-like ears with spikes going down his back. It was Sang’s voice that woke Dante out of his vanity with him shouting, “What? A draconic fae? There is no such thing as that!” Dr. Twice chuckled to herself before turning to look at Dante and saying, “There is now. To think I will be the first to catalog him. I bet Bianca doesn’t realize what she had given you, Sang. I must give this Inunu species a name. How about Udrako after the fact it’s a baby dragon.” Calming down, Sang crouched down near Dante before saying, “He is one weird-ass looking dragon for sure, and to think he’s part faerie at that. No wonder he could disobey my orders. Anyway, thank you, Dr. Twice. How much is this going to charge me?” Dr. Twice hummed before saying, “Nothing, it was on the house. Think of it as a reward for helping me make a discovery. And if our little Morning here happens to morph, please do stop by so I can examine him again.”

It didn’t surprise Dante in the slightest that Sang’s clothing had an anti-stain and self-cleaning function. How else would he continue to look like some rich boy if he was a runaway? At first, Dante thought it was normal for kids in this world to be traveling on foot alone in the woods and going to strangers’ houses uninvited, but nope. The way Dr. Twice asked Sang why he was a tamer was a dead giveaway. But what could Dante do about it? He couldn’t even communicate yet. All he could do was obediently follow Sang like some lost puppy.
