Chapter Nine
----------------------------------------
I swiftly pounce, my massive form landing heavily on the back of a sianach. These bloodthirsty creatures, resembling deer but the size of horses, were considered a top-tier threat when in groups. With razor-sharp horns, fangs, and a voracious appetite for large prey, they were not to be underestimated. Luckily, this sianach had wandered away from its herd, presenting me with a rare opportunity to claim it as my kill.
With a fierce determination, my claws effortlessly pierce its tough skin as I channel my inner power, using [Imbue] to summon lightning that courses through my claws and into the sianach. It screams in agony as I swiftly end its suffering, snapping its neck with a swift movement of my jaws. The hunt is a success as I carry the lifeless body back to my den, a victorious trophy of my skill and strength.

When I finally reach the temple, I see Selene sitting next to the wolf, talking to her.
I sigh mentally. Selene’s going to yell at me, isn’t she? Oh, well. Let’s get it over with. I pad over to Selene with the sianach clenched firmly between my teeth before settling down to eat and listen to Selene rant.
