I decided to try and stay positive. After all, I shouldn't have expected it to be that easy to summon countless teachers.
But I would have to be a little more careful about what teachers I decided to summon. If the requirements doubled every time then I would have more than a few issues.
I idly looked through my new graduating class to see if there were any other students of note.
The second-year graduates had remained much the same. But it was my first years where the changes were obvious.
While the amount of Aura and crafting graduates hadn't changed. The quality certainly had.
Instead of one or two genius Knight students. There were eight.
That was a lot more than I expected. It also made it clear that I would need to focus on having an elite teacher in every spot of the academies.
The same was true for crafting. All but two of the forging graduates were three-star forgers.
None of them had the ability of black fire forging, unfortunately. But his presence made a difference to the quality.
Now that I had multiple four-star crafters on the student list. I couldn't help but be tempted. At the current rate, I could replace them whenever I wanted.
Thus I decided to bite the bullet and imbue three more students.
The rush of knowledge was the same as it had been for the other crafter. The knowledge still felt a little alien. But it wasn't as bad as it had been before.
My status was looking quite a bit different.
With all three of them being 4-star level they seemed to merge into one.
Crafter(4★)
It was rare to see a pure crafter in the other world above the 3-star level. Getting to 3 stars in even a single discipline was more than difficult. Doing it in three at my age would be considered near impossible by anyone in the spirit realm.
My newfound knowledge nearly tempted me from the day's mission.
I barely noticed imbuing all of Eddie's people as I planned my route for the day in my head.
I would be ransacking most of the abandoned villas first. I imagined that I would have a higher chance of finding a leftover masterwork there. I doubted that there would be too many around the streets.
With Eddie once again satisfied, he left with me a Rank 4 core. I had to sigh to myself. It seemed my plentiful AP days were coming to an end.
At least by tomorrow, I would be able to permanently summon Douglas. I would then summon another Elite Teacher. When done I could get Douglas to focus completely on finding me higher-ranking cores.
After all a single Rank 6 core would probably give me enough AP for weeks.
I had a small hope that my newfound crafting abilities would help me find secret staches in the various villas. But I didn't have such luck.
It did allow me to guess the value of some of the leftover items. But there was nothing of too much note.
The raw materials were what more caught my eye. As they were more likely to be left behind.
I had quite the collection in my inventory by the time I made my way through the noble's quarter.
I did manage to find three Level 1 Masterworks. Which allowed me to spin the teacher wheel once again.

It seemed that I had used up my luck at the beginning as I drew another common Teacher.
Unsurprisingly it was in the City Lord's Mansion where I found the next Level 2 Masterwork.
The city lord had been a Grand Knight. So it shouldn't have surprised me too much that he would have some masterworks in his library.
There was one more Level 1 Masterwork. Which gave me enough teachers to do the draw once again. My luck this time around was a little better as I drew an Elite Teacher.
[Elite Teacher Foster,
Speciality: Healing(Foundation, Elemental),
Secondary Skills: Soul Healing,
Teaching Ability: Low]
While I was a little disappointed at their low teaching ability. I wasn't going to complain about getting my first elite healing teacher.
It had taken far too long. But I could finally start getting some second-year healers.
I was still riding that high when I found the level 2 Masterwork.
Earthen Armour Arts
It would be a perfect manual for my sister. I could only assume that it would be easy enough for her to be able to use it with any of the other elements as well.
I immediately used it to draw an Elite Teacher.
[Elite Teacher Hogan,
Speciality: Aura(Skill),
Secondary Skills: Earthen Armour,
Teaching Ability: High]
Once I put him in place in the academy, I would have a full Elite Aura academy.
That put me in a great mood as I went out onto the streets of the main city.
Looking through the markets was fruitless. There were very few books for sale, even less old ones that might have been masterworks.
I had figured that a masterwork had to be an original of the writer. It couldn't be a copied book.
Being able to pick up as many as I did in this city on the outskirts was a huge boon.
With my failure in the markets. I decided to be productive in other ways.
While I hadn't had to use what I made before. I wasn't sure how long that would last.
With my 4-star crafting skills. Making items that would be useful up until the level of an Archmage wouldn't be too much of an issue.
Making my way back to the noble's quarters. I went to an abandoned workshop of one of the accomplished crafters of the city.
I was a little nervous about using my crafting abilities again. As I had somewhat been ignoring them. The thought of losing myself had been plaguing my mind.
With the soul of a High Mage anchoring my body. I felt a lot more comfortable beginning to craft.
I had jumped straight to rank two items the last time. Which had been a mistake.
While the number of blueprints in my head had grown massively.
I decided to go back to the first item I had made. The Broadsword. To see what difference there was now between the two levels of crafting.
I could feel my crafting skills beginning to take over once again. But it was nowhere near as bad as it had once been.
It was closer to following a recipe now for the lower-ranked items than it was being controlled.
The sword had taken me hours when I was a two-star crafter. Now that I was a 4-star with magic control over the flames, it took about twenty minutes to have a finished product.
Not only was it easier to make, but it was also quite a bit higher quality than the sword I had made before.
While it was still a Rank 2 sword. It was far closer to its peak than its floor.
There wasn't a place to do alchemy in the current workshop. So I decided on enchanting a Rank 2 enchantment on the sword.
I felt the alien feeling come over me once again. It seemed that without prior experience, it would take complete control.
It was once again closer to an out-of-body experience as I watched myself enchant the sword.
Since it was a Rank 2 enchantment, I was done in less than half an hour.
The Rank 2 sword combined with the Rank 2 enchantment, made it a Pseudo 3rd rank item.
I tested the new sword against the one I made before. I didn't use much of my strength, but my new creation sliced through the old as if it wasn't even there.
That made me more than satisfied with my new abilities.
Thus I moved on to making a three-star sword with three-star sharpness enchantments.
It took close to six hours to get them both done. But soon a Pseudo Rank 4 weapon was in front of me.
Even Eddie would have to be slightly cautious in the face of the sword.
After crafting the item, I didn't have the time to craft anything better today. So I went out to a nearby practice area with the sword.
After imbuing a basic swordsmanship skill. I began to practice with the blade. My High Knight strength mixed with the blade proved too much for any of the practice dolls in the training area.
Thus I made a few stone golems to practice against.
It was far easier than it had been before to summon the golems. But once again I destroyed them with similar ease.
It didn't matter how much mana I pumped into the golems. They weren't a match for me.
I returned to the villa more than a little happy with my progress for the day.
