[Elite Teacher Rowe,
Speciality: Crafting(Enchanting, Forging),
Secondary Skills: Offensive Enchantments,
Teaching Ability: High]
It seemed that luck was on my side this time around.
Teacher Rowe would be a potent teacher for the second year. I was surprised to see him with the ability of Enchanting and Forging. I wanted to see how effective he was with teaching both. But it would allow me to put both the enchanting and forging students into the second year without worry.
With the two groups combined, I had just enough to start another second year. But I would wait and see who else I managed to recruit to the academy first.
[Elite Teacher Mcneil,
Speciality: Aura(Foundation),
Secondary Skills: Tactics,
Teaching Ability: Adequate]
I immediately placed him on the roster for the second year. While I didn't have enough Mana students to have a full year, the same could not be said for the rest of the classes.
I would take anything that I could get. With three academies now having a teacher. I was feeling a lot better about beginning another second year.
[Elite Teacher Solis,
Speciality: Aura(Foundation),
Secondary Skills: Stealth,
Teaching Ability: Low]
Another aura teacher with a speciality in foundation. While I wasn't happy with their low teaching ability. The secondary skill had me more than a little interested. A stealth skill would be handy in a lot of situations.
[Elite Teacher Bradford,
Speciality: Aura(Skill, Foundation),
Secondary Skills: Heavy Armour,
Teaching Ability: High]
In a single swoop, I now had a full Aura teaching staff for the second year. With two of the teachers having adequate teaching abilities or above. I was more than satisfied.
I began to make the list of the second-year students. I had a full class for both Crafting and Aura Academies. I was pleased to see that I could still put in half a class of mana students. It seemed that I only needed to have one full class. The rest I could be a little more loose with.
With two classes in full swing, I put away the tablet and returned to the books on my desk.
I didn't particularly care about how I did in these exams. They wouldn't have a huge effect on my future either way.
I still decided to aim for as high a score as I could get. A bit of last-minute cramming wouldn't hurt.
It was nearing lunch when I was first disturbed from my study. My roommates returning a little early from class.
They were all deep in conversation as they walked in. Dena was the only one who gave me a brief nod before heading for the table.
Both Brad and Kelvin were too deep in their conversation to even notice me.
"I still can't believe how easy it was for her to use magic. Something like that shouldn't be possible for someone even with a powerful gift. It does run in the family."
I decided to interrupt to see what they were talking about. I did feel a little hurt that the first thing they did wasn't to ask about my gift.
Dena turned to look at me like I was an idiot.
You could be reading stolen content. Head to the original site for the genuine story.
"Didn't you see the news? The Sword's Saints Daughter Angela awoke her gift today. It's the second confirmed SSS Rank Gift."
It seemed like Gaia was giving away those gifts at this point. But I had forgotten the fact that the most powerful person on Blue Star's eldest child had been born only a few days after me.
Speculation about her gift had been a presence throughout my entire life. Would she be as powerful as her father?
Her mother was also the most powerful of all the man's different wives. A holder of an S Rank Gift in her own right.
"What is her gift? You said it had something to do with magic."
Brad was quick to jump in, as always eager to tell someone everything they would need to know.
"They released it this morning. Her Gift is called the Empress Of Magic. It allows her to copy and improve any magic that she sees. People are speculating it can do a lot more. But that's all that was released publicly."
That sounded a lot more impressive than my gift. Even its name alone was far cooler.
Kelvin was quick to hop in after Brad had finished.
"There are videos of her doing 5-star magic already. No one can believe it. People are saying it will only take a few years before she is more powerful than her father. With her in the Union, they will be able to take over the whole spirit world."
I would have been a lot more concerned about hearing something like that before I had incarnated.
Now I wasn't sure if there would be a spirit world for them to rule.
They spent the next few minutes discussing everything her power might mean. While I thought in silence.
It was only after a few minutes that they remembered I too had recently awoken.
Dena was the first to bring it up.
"Since you didn't come to class. I guess that you choose to graduate early"
None of them seemed too surprised at my choice. I was glad to see that they were happy for me. As the oldest in the dorm. I was the first out of any of them to awaken.
I wasn't sure if they were happy for me, or about the extra space they would have in the coming months.
"Once you're done with your exams we will go out and celebrate. When's your first one?"
Taking a look at the time, it seemed that I only had a few moments before I had to leave.
After saying goodbye I made my way to my first exam. It would take up the rest of the day, so I didn't have to worry about trying to hide what kind of gift I had awoken.
They had been respectful about not asking, but I wasn't sure how long that would last.
The first exam went quite a bit better than I had been expecting. It seemed now that the mind of a High Mage was far clearer. Allowing me to think through each problem with ease.
The information seemed to jump out of my mind and onto the page. It was the most relaxing exam experience I had ever felt. It made me feel a lot better about the exams to come.
After all this time tomorrow, I was sure that my body would also have the foundation of a High Knight.
Which would make the more physical exams a breeze. Even with the limitations of Gaia's Laws, it would make the tests far easier.
I had a quick dinner before heading to the spirit rooms. It was a nice amenity of the school that I had never used before.
It was nothing more than a simple room with a bed. But it would allow me to be undisturbed while my body was in the spirit world.
I wasn't quite sure how I would face Eddie today. I didn't have any more students I could imbue.
I was once again tempted to buy another time skip. After all with over thirty students graduating each day. I had close to enough to buy one. I was also a little tempted to use the draw teacher wheel.
I only needed two more common teachers to try it out. The chance of getting a Profound teacher was simply too tempting.
One was another enchanting crafting teacher. So I put her immediately in the draw. The other was a Healing teacher with a low teaching ability. So they were immediately put in as well.
While there was only a little chance of earning a Profound Teacher. There was a far likelier chance of earning another Elite Teacher.
[Elite Teacher Randall,
Speciality: Mana(Skill, Power),
Secondary Skills: Water Magic,
Teaching Ability: High]
I was more than happy with the draw. I wouldn't be able to put him into the academy until tomorrow. But the first use of the teacher draw had been a roaring success.
The extra elite teacher did make me think about the Teacher Summoning. While Harold had been a fantastic Summon. His strength compared to the Elite Teachers was lacking.
Especially compared to someone like Randall, who was on the upper end of the Elite Teachers.
I hadn't tried to switch a teacher who had already been summoned. I wasn't even sure if it was possible.
I had ignored the Teacher Summoning Screen for the most part. I was a little surprised to see that after selecting Harold, there was an option to call him to me.
That would have been handy to know before. But It was my fault for not checking.
There were quite a few more options that I hadn't been expecting alongside it.
One of which immediately stood out to me.
[5/5] [Permanently Summon]
I looked at the information for the button.
[Warning permanently summoning a Teacher will remove them from the Teacher list. They will no longer be a member of the Academy. They will have a variable loyalty rating.]
