Wave was reading the location of the next piece for the daggers. (What really!?)
Wave was stunned and deep in thought. Willow looks at him before inquiring about
the next location. “So where does it say we have to go next Wave?” Wave points
above his head. Everyone in the party looks at where he is pointing. “How on
earth could we not have noticed this sooner?” Sky presses the party for some
sort of answer. Aurora to the party. “It’s beautiful, but how do we get up there?”
Willow looks at Violet and ask. “Even if we could get up there, has anyone else
noticed the other problem?” Violet responds to her. “You mean the fact that, aside
From it being a floating island, that it is upside down?” Wave looks at everyone
before giving them a theory. “Maybe it has its own gravitational pull?” The
party nods, it seems like it was a solid theory.
Wave, Sky, Aurora, and Willow try to levitate, but their levitation only reaches
about half way. “No good huh?” Sky remarks. The sun soon cast a shadow on
one of the sand duns. It is at this moment that the shadow puppy uses its shadow
travel ability to teleport itself onto the floating desert. As soon as it walks away
from its shadow it starts to fall from the sky. Violet points to Wave, as he is trying
to get his shadow in line with the shadow puppy, and with clarity in her voice speaks.
“Well I guess that makes your theory wrong.” Wave can not argue with that statement.
“Now what should we do?” Aurora pretty much demanding an answer from Wave.
Wave makes the most reasonable statement. “It might be wise for us to head back
to the village, and we can complete our quest at the same time.” All the party members
feel that is the best option for the time being. Before leaving Sky points out one more
thing. “If it is not gravity, why has that sand not come pouring down on us?” None
had any answer to his question.
Fighting their way through more shadow puppies the party had to deal with
Violets flames once more. The heat was making everyone but Violet uncomfortable.
Wave used basic lightning kick when he found some puppies no where near any shadows.
Aurora was experimenting with her basic ice and created a new skill. Frost punch, it was
formed when she put ice shards at the tip of each of her fingers. Basically when she would
punch she would crush the ice shards as she struck the enemy, and this would cause ice
dust to be directed forwards onto the enemy, which caused ice damage along with the
damage from her fist.
Sky and Shadow were using their pet skill, to attack multiple puppies at the same time.
Willow was attacking the puppies with her knife skill. Willow had the most trouble
because she did not have any magic skills she could use to attack the shadow puppies.
One of the shadow puppies, almost knocked her into the inferno that Violet had
created.
Resting for the night the party took a long needed break. Traveling this far on foot
was hard, they needed some sort of mount. Sure one of the party members could
always ride on Shadow, but what about the rest of them.
Wave fell asleep and was now dreaming. He was in his herbal garden with his
pet dog, he was about twelve years old. His mother had taught him about
all the varieties of herbs and what they where used for. His dog was licking his
check, as a thank you for letting her have a very small piece of ginger. Wave wakes
up and tears are flowing down his eyes. This was the first thing he truly remembered
about him self, to bad it was so generic. Shadow seeing the tears in Wave’s eyes
licks them away. To Shadow’s surprise Wave swiftly puts his arms around his next
and tightly holds him. This is a sensation that Shadow has never experienced before,
but for some reason it feels really nice. “Shadow, I am so glad we tamed you right
Now.” Wave states while petting the top of Shadow’s head. This is also a new
sensation to Shadow but he likes this one as well.
Morning has arrived and everyone is packing up their tents. In the distance they
see something, or is it a lot of something. “Is that someone, running from a hoard
of monsters?” Willow questions. Everyone is taken aback when they see that
Willow is right. There is a woman running from a hoard of about sixty, what
looks to be tigers with bat wings. Her hair is the color of the moon, she is wearing
a dark green ballroom dress, and her eyes are a deep crimson red. “Help! I do not
want to die!” They can tell by the way that she is breathing that all her health
related states are low, that would explain why she is screaming that right now.
Wave ask the party. “Do you guys think we should help her?” Willow is the
first to answer. “I think that is our best choice right now.” Sky agrees and simple
Says. “Even if we did not try and help her, we would be blocked by those monsters.”
Aurora looks at Violet and tells her. “I good use a good test of my new skill.”
Violet replies with one simple word. “Fire!” With that the party headed into combat.
The tigers attacked each member in the party by circling around them in the air.
As one of the tigers flew forwards towards Wave, two other ones launched
breath attacks. Wave thought they would use the same type of attacks as one
another, however one of them released a fire breath, while the other released
a breath of lightning. Wave barely has time to dodge these attacks. He uses
his basic lightning kick to charge at the enemy in front of him, while using
the momentum to dodge as well.
Sky and Shadow are trying their best to use art of the wolves while
also taking in any chance they get to doge those breath attacks. They
Are doing a lost better than Wave, who is fighting alone.
Willow and Aurora create shadow steam for both cover and damage
to the flying tigers. Willow cuts one, then bites down on its paw
which stuns it slightly giving Aurora a chance to use her frost punch
Skill.
Violet is next to the woman whom asked for their help. She is swinging
her sword which is creating fireballs and disorienting the flying tigers in
front of them. The woman is creating boulders with her magic as Violet’s
fireballs are distracting them. The boulders are being tossed on top of their
heads.
Wave uses all of his mp to unleash a rain of standard lightning directed
at all the flying tigers above him. This is enough to kill them but he
Still has the one in front of himself to deal with. Wave soon also runs
out of chi for his basic lightning kick. Wave can not get close enough
to attack with his claws he does not know what to do. Suddenly an
idea hits him. Wave pulls out the iron earrings from his backpack.
Using his spark skill, which uses mana and not mp, he runs the
spark in a circuit through the earrings. Just as the charge is about
to finish he toss them forwards, as to not electrocute himself.
The earrings land directly into the flying tigers mouth. Wave
sees sparks start to fly down the tigers throat, as it is pushed

backwards from the electric current. The tiger is now nothing
but a smoldering corpse.
Sky and Shadow finally manage to finish off their group of flying
Tigers. They had used their own breath attacks against them. They
skillfully lured one tiger into attacking them directly, while making
sure they would be in the path of the breath attack, while the tiger
in front of them had no idea. With perfect timing they would doge
the attack leaving the tiger in front of them to take on their allies
wrath.
Willow and Aurora are now both levitating, and holding one
of each others hands, in order to use the force of rotation to
spin in mid air. With their other hand each of them are releasing
their individual magic. This ended up becoming a new party
skill, Nature’s marry go round. This was enough to finish off
their group of tigers.
Violet and the woman attacked their group of tigers by
sending her boulders into the air while Violet crushed
them into pieces with her sword. This made small rocks
be pelted to the tigers and did enough relative damage
to finish them off.
“Thank you so much for saving me from those awful tigers!”
the woman was clearly grateful for their help. “I have been
soloing for a long time now, and have been looking for a
Party to join. If you do not mind may I join yours?” The woman
asked with pleading eyes. Wave looks at his party who all
nod their heads before answering her. “We would be happy to
have you in our party. I am Wave Droplet, This is Willow Birth.
He is Sky Soar-high. That over their is Aurora Rose-song. The
one you had been fighting along side is Violet Pillar.” “Nice to
meet you all my name is Temple Raise.”
Temple Raise joined your party
The party noticed that Temple’s health stats were about as high as
their own. However what surprised them was all her energy
related stats were double their own. Violet took out a healing
item and was passing it to Temple, but before she could grasp
it one last flying tiger came down towards her and hit her hard
all her health stats dropped to zero. “Great, we have no
idea where her re-spawn point is.” Violet has a tone of
uneasiness as she speaks. What happens next shocks the party.
Instead of Temple’s body disappearing her skin turns an ice
blue, and her hair becomes paler, then she stands up. “How!?
What!? When? Are you for real!?” Everyone shouts at the same
time. The party is so confused at the moment. What is confusing
them even more is that, even though she is standing and moving
around, her health stats have not gone above zero. As they are
in shock the tiger attacks Temple again. They now notice
that her energy related stats are going down from the damage.
They get ready to fight the tiger. Since it is the whole party
against one tiger, it is dead in no time. Wave staring at Temple
ask her. “How in the world are you still standing?” Temple answers
his question. “It is from my talent, rise from the dead. It gives me
a second chance at life but it uses my energy stats in place of my
health stats. I can still use skills but, their is a huge risk.”
Wave thinks about Willow’s shadow flame skill which uses
her aura. (So there are other weird skills and talents besides
Willow’s.) Of course Wave has no idea what Willow’s talent
is, and kind of fears to ask. Temple continues. “I return to
normal after sleeping at an inn or in a tent.”
As they are heading for the village, Aurora takes out all of the
energy healing items that she had got from the cavern of portals
and gave them all to Temple. Temple thanked her and gave
her a flower ring in return.
During the time it takes to get to the village, the party explains
to Temple what they have been up to and where it is they are
trying to go next. “If you ask me it sounds like the sand may
be magnetic.” The party is awestruck by Temples statement.
Once back in the village the party finishes the quest. Everyone
but Temple is given the reward of thirty stones of magical force.
Aurora finds the skill merchant and trades ten for standard ice.
The rest of the party is twenty short for the next rank, and need
a skill understanding of fifteen before they can upgrade anyways.
Wave talks to Violet. “I think we should find some magnetic gemstones.”
Violet nods as she understands what it is Wave is thinking. Meanwhile
the rest of the party looks for any clues on how to fly great heights.
Violet and Wave were wondering through a mine by the village. This was
likely the mine the blacksmith used for his work. “Do you think we
can really find any in hear Violet?” Wave was of course referring to
any sort of magnetic minerals. “I am uncertain, however it is worth
the shot.” Violet comments to him.
Wave brought a piece of iron with him in order to confirm if
the gemstone they found was magnetic. Since Violet had the
gem lore skill it would be slightly easier to find some compared
to trying to find some on his own.
Near a waterfall in the mine. Wave placed his hands behind the
waterfall and finds a large boulder. (Could this be it?) Wave thinks to
himself. Looking at Violet he is hoping she will confirm his thoughts.
Violet softly speaks into Wave’s ear. “This may be it, trying breaking
this boulder with your hammer.” Wave starts pounding the hammer
against the large boulder. From behind them the sound has awakened
a sleeping pile of goo.
The goo wonders over to the two party members. It does not get to close,
but instead blocks their only form of escape by standing in the doorway
and waiting for them to come out.
Shifting his weight from one foot to the other, Wave finally manages to
break the boulder into pieces. Wave picks up one of the piece, and places
It near the iron. The mineral stuck to it tightly. “Eureka!” Wave yells as
he pulls the new gemstone away from the iron. Violet and Wave both
look over a piece of the gemstone to find out more.
Magnetic iron gained
Magnetic iron description: a piece of iron that has become magnetic
after years of subtle exposure to years of electric current. Magnets are
known in history to have many uses.
Wave looks at the iron he had in his hand before breaking the boulder
And thinks. (So I could have made my own magnetic mineral.) Violet’s
gem lore skill understanding has went up by one from discovering a
unique type of mineral.
Both Violet, and Wave go to head out the exit of the room, only to
be stopped in their tracks at what is in front of them. A large purple
slime is blocking their path. The room is to small so they do not have
a lot of room to fight.
Wave tells Violet. “What ever you do, do not use any fire in this small
Space.” Violet agrees not to. Violet quickly punches the slime, in what
she guesses is its stomach. The texture of the slime feels like melted
marshmallows, but gives off a heat that is like a humans body heat.
Violet has a bit of trouble getting her hand out from it at first.
Once Violet has gotten her hand out, Wave attacks it with a bear dash.
Since the claws are sharp they do not stick to the slime like Violet’s
hand did. As Wave moves back his hands, he is left with a pile of
warm goo on his arms. The sensation becomes disturbing after a short
while, since he has trouble getting the goo off his arms.
Not wanting to get any more slime on his arms, Wave starts attacking
by switching between basic and standard lightning. The slime has now
split into two different slimes. One of them is still blocking the door,
while the other one is charging towards Violet. Not sure what to do
Wave issues a command at Violet. “Swing your sword towards me
and find a place to doge.” Violet does as she is asked. As the fireball
from Violet’s sword is hurling towards him, Wave strikes the very
center of the fireball with basic lightning. Violet has managed
to dive into the water just under the waterfall before Wave unleashed
his lightning.
With her eyes opened under the water Violet can see a blinding light.
Wave is sent flying backwards through the slime that was blocking the
doorway. Both slimes were now dead. Wave would have taken serious
damage if he had tried to do that from the other direction. The slime
also stopped his momentum as he was flung backwards. The result
was not what Wave was expecting. He had just wanted to use his
lightning to divide the fireball so it would rain down on the slime.
What wave had done instead had created an explosion. If Violet
Had not jumped into the water when she did, in all likely hood
she would have died.
Party skill created Exploding sword slash
“Wholly shoot Wave, did you want to kill us!?” Violet angry word
strongly directed at Wave. Wave looks at her and gives an apology.
“Sorry Violet, this was not the result I had in mind. Maybe now
you will understand how we feel when you use your fire the way
you do.” Wave says the last part in a low tone as for Violet not to
hear him.
Violet and Wave’s next stop is a hoard of wild cows. They intend
to process them for leather. After killing the cows Wave uses his
claws to strip off their skin.
Upon returning to the village, Wave heads directly to the blacksmiths.
Wave is busy making leather boots, but does not end it there, he laces
the bottom of the boots with magnetic iron.
Magnetic boots
Magnetic boots description: A pair of leather boots with magnets at
the bottom. No one but the create could know the intention behind
them.
Aurora comes in to find Wave working. Wave is just
about finished making the last pair of boots. Wave explains
to Aurora what they are meant for. Aurora looks them over
before pointing out a problem. “Even if we wear these, we
will just fall out of them from the gravity.” Wave looks at
Aurora and knows she is right, but can not find a solution
to the problem. “Do you have any more leather left?”
Aurora ask Wave. Wave shows her that he does indeed
Have leather left. With that Aurora takes out the sewing
needle and the thread of misery she had gotten, what
had now felt like so long ago. Aurora started to sew
leather straps to each pair of boots. She made them with
the same type of design, that is used to keep snow shoes
attached to your feet.
“Oh I almost forgot, while you two were getting this
ready the rest of us have obtained a way to fly to
that desert.” Wave was waiting for her to tell him
how. “In a small hut on a tall mountain west of
here, there is a man renting out dragons. We rented
one from him, and it was not cheap, you and Violet
owe us one thousand quartz.” Aurora smirks while
putting out her hand for her share of the money.
Wave hands Aurora two hundred and fifty quartz.
Wave had almost forgot that Shadow would need
boots as well. He sets of to work making a smaller
pair. Aurora then adds the straps to the new boots.
The party all meets up at the inn and sleeps for the
night. Wave paid for Temple’s room since he felt
Bad that she could not stay for free like the rest of
the party.
The party spent the next few nights traveling with
the dragon behind them. They were now finally
At the desert. Wave attached Shadow with the
boots he had made for him. Shadow felt really
uncomfortable wearing this things. Everyone else
put on their boots as well and made sure the straps
were really tight.
The dragon could only carry two people at a time.
Sky and Willow were the first to get onto the island.
Next was Violet and Aurora. Wave picked up Shadow
while temple got on with them. Now everyone was
on the island and the boots were working properly.
Sky looks to the party and asks. “Does any one else
feel dizzy from the blood rushing to their head?”
Everyone of the other party members lift their hand,
Shadow barks as his response.
As the party walks along the sand, they soon come to
a building which is covered almost completely in sand.
They walk into it through what appears to be a window.
The party finds a flight of stairs. They walk down, or
maybe it is up these stairs. When they reach the bottom
or is it the top, they are now in what appears to be an
abandoned city.
