Willow Birth vs Maze lizard x 5
The lizards walked around slowly on the ground. Willow could not see anything to
Indicate why they were named maze lizards. No patterns on their backs, and they
seemed really slow moving. In fact Willow thought this all would be a little to
easy.
Willow pulls out her knife, and proceeds to jog towards one of the lizards.
Willow reaches the lizard, and thrusts her knife forward. Just when the knife
is about to make contact, the ground beneath Willow begins to shift. With that
she is surrounded by a wall made of earth. This earthen wall is way to tall to
climb over. (Well this is not good. How am I meant to get over that?) Willow’s
thoughts are rapidly trying to come up with a solution. (I guess for now I will
have to complete the maze. This really sucks!)
Willow used her shadow flame to create a small trail behind her as she moved forwards.
(One direction, and always that same direction.) It took Willow about fifteen minutes
before she ended up back at the shadow flame, the one she started at, she had made
it a little bigger than the trail. (Well going left did not work?) Willow could not help
but think this to herself. (Now to go right I guess.) Willow followed the path only
going right, but still ends up at her starting point. (What is up with this maze?)
The maze lizard is able to watch Willow wondering through out its maze, this
is done by energetic centers in the walls, which relay the images to the lizards
eyes much like a security camera. If this girl solves the maze, the lizard will
have no way to defend itself, but she will only be able to hit him once before
a new maze is brought up. The maze is an automatic defense system against
predators, the only thing that could really cause trouble was aerial creatures.
This only applied to creatures with wings, anything that floated or levitated
had their ability reversed, which would be no different than the force of gravity.
(Maybe one direction then the other?) Willow tried this as well, yet just like
before she ended up back where she had started. (Not again!) Willow was
starting to get really frustrated. (Right, Right, then left, continue in that pattern
maybe?) With that she was back at the starting point. Willow let out a loud
scream. The lizard could hear it, and now was worried about how hard
her first attack would be.
(Lets go one direction until the end.) Willow was keeping track of how many
turns she made before ending up back at the shadow flame marker. It had always
been the same amount. Willow finally reaches the dam thing. Covering her knife
with Shadow flame, Willow slashes down at the lizard, her knife drawing a
a lightning bolt pattern with her shadow flame.
The maze lizard felt both the pain of being slashed, the heat of the flames, and
a depressing darkness filling its wounds. The attack dealt one ninth of damage to

the poor thing. Nine more attacks like this and it would be dead.
After dealing damage to the maze lizard, the earthen walls came down. Willow
started on her second attack when the walls went up again. (No, not again!)
It looked like Willow would have to solve another maze.
Willow did not know it at the time, but Raid was hiding under the maze lizard,
he was a shadow, and the lizard would not be expecting him. As soon as the
wall went up, Raid made his move.
The maze lizard could feel something growing underneath itself. Jaws suddenly
gripped it, as Raid bit into its stomach. This hurt way more then the woman’s
Attack. The lizard could tell this creature was made from shadow.
This lizard, and this lizard only had the solution to this problem. This lizard
feared what would happen to its brethren if he should fail. The lizard started
to draw runes with its hands in the dirt. A bright light appeared, and with that
Raid was lost in his very own maze.
Willow was shocked that the maze suddenly came down, but soon remembered
she was not alone in this battle. (Good job Raid!) Willow feels a strong sense
of pride at having been able to tame him. Just as the rest of the maze comes
down, Willow can see a bright light. Soon Willow realizes what that light is.
Willow can see a drawing made out of light on the ground, it looks much
like a map, the only difference, a small shadow dot is moving around
inside of it. Willow can feel the anger welling up inside of her. Raid
is that dot, and has his own maze to solve.
The maze lizard can feel the heat of the flames heading towards it, blazing
like an inferno. Instinctively an earthen maze is put up to block it. That
stupid rat has caused some serious damage. The lizard is going to get
some payback now.
As Willow walks through a newly formed maze, something feels much
different than before. Out of nowhere the wall creates a fist. Willow
barley has time to dodge. (That was to close!) When that thought finished,
the next fist came at her. Willow barley had time to think, the only thing
she could do was dodge the fist, which the walls shaped at different locations.
Since she did not have time to think, Willow was unable to tell where she
was heading in this maze. Neither Willow’s knife, or her shadow flames
could do any damage to walls trying to punch her.
Raid ended up where he started in the maze yet again. He could feel
why Willow was so frustrated before. (Around, over, under. No matter
What I do it does not matter.) Raid really hoped Willow could find away
to get him out of here.
Thinking about how Raid moved in the shadows, Willow really wished
she could do that now, even if it was just a little. With that thought she
used shadow flame to set her feet on fire. (Merge the shadow flame
With the shadows around it. Walk with the shadows.) Willow could
feel her feet merging with the shadows on the ground. It felt kind of
sticky like walking in mud, but colder, although not as cold as ice.
Willow placed her feet on the wall, merging with the shadows on the
wall. Willow now walks up the wall. She is no longer restricted by
the rules of the maze.

Willow walked along the top of the wall until she found the lizard.
Willow cut her self to in order to cover her self in blood. This would
fuel the shadow flames on her knife more, and give bonus damage
thanks to it being an out side the box idea.
The maze lizard was met with a sharp burning slash. The burning did not
stop even after the slash was finished. Willow headed to the next lizard,
knowing the one she slashed would soon be dead.
As the maze went up, Willow simply scaled it, and walked to the lizards
location. Another blood fueled shadow flame slash was made. Soon all
five lizards were in the same boat. Willow let out an insane laugh, as
the lizards finally died.
Raid was finally free from that stupid light maze. “And the winner is
Willow Birth!” The announcer speaks, before slowly walking away
from the still laughing Willow.
Sky was watching with Shadow from the entrance to the waiting room.
As Willow arrives, both Shadow and Sky look at one another with dread
in their eyes, before taking a step to the side.
