Temple Raise vs Phase alligator x 3

Temple’s patience was growing thin and it was all due to the stunt that Violet pulled to defeat her

opponents. (Why did she have to go and do a thin like destroy the whole stadium’s battle area. 

Now I cannot fight until the repairs are finished. I will make you pay for this Violet!) Temple 

would be on the path for vengeance against Violet if her thoughts were any indication.

With these thoughts Temple’s heart was fueled with the fire for battle and once the round started

Temple would be on the offensive, and in all likelihood the enemies could truly experience 

suffering on all levels. It was doubtful that Violet was aware of the emotional chain reaction her

flames had set in motion for her future around Temple.

“Now that the repairs are finished, it is with great pleasure we start the final match of round 

three.” The loud announcement caused Temple to experience a light head, but it passed just as 

quickly as it came over her. Temple prepped her quiver, her bow hanging on the back of it.

Walking into the stadium, Temple lifts her bow from the quiver, places it in her left hand, draws

an arrow from the quiver with her right, then immediately fires it at the first alligator she sees.

When the arrow is almost in reach, the alligator sweeps the projectile away by quickly lashing

out its tail.

Seeing as the arrow was rendered useless, Temple uses earth magic to toss a boulder down the

center of the alligator’s back. The alligator notices the presence of the boulder above it. Quickly

hopping back before it falls, the alligator opens its mouth wide as the boulder falls into it, just

seconds afterwards. With the boulder between it teeth the alligator crushes it by biting down.

The former boulder is now a mound of clay on the ground.

Temple takes her bow and changes it to its duel whip form. (It looks like a change of tactics is

in order.) Temple’s thoughts are clearly defined in her head. Temple cracks the whips a few times

just to get use to the weight once more.

The alligator can see the woman rushing towards it, and the only thought going through its head

at the moment is. (She is scary fast.) The alligators eyes have trouble following her movements.

The way she moves from side to side while heading towards it, is sort of like a hypnotic dance to

the alligator. The alligator closes its eyes, listens closely, and hears the foot steps as they 

approach. 

Temple flicks the whip down hard, the cracking sound can be heard throughout the stadium.

Hearing the sound of the whip the alligator becomes transparent. Temple eyes can barley

comprehend what is being witnessed. The whip passes through the alligator, and it is like

one of these things do not really exist. That of course is technically true, since neither one

really exists anyways, but that is not the point. 

Still transparent the alligator leaps forward through Temple. This is one of the weirdest things

Temple has experienced, but it is what happens next that would torment for years to come.

While still passing through hear the alligator made its teeth physical once more. Surrounding

her heart with its teeth the alligator bites down. The pain is like nothing she has ever felt in her

life, and if this was not a game, Temple would have died in an instant.

The alligator leaves Temple’s body, its attack did not do any physical damage to the woman, 

However she was briefly stunned. The alligator pushes its tail against her feet with a swift

motion and she instantly falls to the ground. The second she hits the ground the alligator

bites down on her left hand.

Recovering from the shock Temple quickly sees the result from the bite. Temple’s life force

has dropped by five percent. Temple stands back up, and firmly grasps her whips. One of the

whips comes baring down at the alligator. Just like before the alligator phases through it.

Temple does not give it another chance to go through her. Temple doges the alligator by

moving her body like a graceful dancer.

The alligator lands on the ground and cannot stay transparent any longer, this is because

the time limit is up. The alligator can hear the cracking of the whip in the distance, and

is slightly confused. (Why is she attacking thin air?) The second that thought ends is when

the alligator’s eye gets pierced with an arrow. 

When Temple seen that the alligator was losing its transparent form, she instantly used her

whip to grab and arrow from her quiver and sending it flying. This was the first time she had

ever used such a maneuver, but now she would keep it in mind for the future.

The alligator could now phase once more, and it did so to remove the arrow from its eye.

It now sped towards Temple for revenge, and the spectators could foretell the battle was on the

verge of becoming interesting. 

Temple hopped into the air to avoid the alligators sweeping tail under her legs. She tilted her

center back as she feel to put some distance between herself and the alligators tail. Seeing

how she landed the alligator moved forward rapidly and used its weight to knock her down.

The moist heat from the alligators breathing sent shivers down Temple spine, just seconds

before the bloody thing bit down on her neck. Her life force dropped by ten percent this time.

While the alligator was still clinging to her neck, Temple used earth magic to make another

boulder and aimed it for the same location as the first time she had tried.

The alligator felt the air escape as the large boulder came crashing down. Though the attack

worked, Temple still felt the recoil from the boulder, after all the alligator was on top of her.

Temple recovered sooner than the alligator, giving her enough time to push it off and also put 

some distance between them.

Having set the distance Temple begins her preparations for her next assault. (Lets do this quickly

while the alligator is still winded.) Temple’s thoughts are readying a plan. It is not much of a plan,

but Temple wants to do more damage to the alligator while she has the chance.

The alligator remains still and is unable to do anything about the barrage of arrows loom over 

head. The arrows drop and cause the alligator a great deal of pain. Recovering the alligator darts

away from the area in a hurry.  

Temple becomes more alert, the alligator have congregated together, and it would be ill advised

not to come up with some form of counter measure. Using the telekinetic skill which she had 

recently learned, Temple hovers some arrows behind her quiver.

All three alligators come running towards Temple, each from a different direction. Temple

creates an earth boulder, then cracks the two whips at the alligators coming from the left and 

right of her. While this is happening she also drops the boulder on the alligator coming from

behind. 

All three alligators phase through the attacks, letting them pass with out much trouble. The

moment the alligators are no longer in their phased form, Temple unleashes a telekinetic storm

of arrows onto the unaware alligators. This attack kills the one she had been fighting up until

now. 

The two remaining alligators retreat from the attack and are uncertain of their next moves.

In front of Temple’s eyes one of the alligators suddenly vanish. (What in the world is going

on?) The strings of worry are being tugged in Temple’s head. The alligator that Temple had

seen vanish, had actually phased into the ground, and was on route to her location.

A strange sensation washed over Temple, this sensation made her feel the need to jump 

backwards. The second she jumped she could see the transparent alligator where she had just

been. In an instant Temple created an earth boulder and also gathered arrows with telekinesis.

Having the time limit of its phase run out, the alligator felt the weight and pressure of both the

boulder and arrows raining down on it. It was nearly dead and in the next moment the crack of

two whips finished it off.

The last alligator knew that phasing could not save it from its current situation, it had to come

up with something though. All the alligator could think of was being as aggressive as possible.

The alligator leaped forward trying to get the drop on the young woman.

When the alligator got closer Temple tried to block its attack with her whips, however the 

alligator griped them tightly with its jaws. Using its tail the alligator drops Temple to the ground.

With the whips still in it jaws the alligator twirls Temple around and lets them lose once it has 

gathered enough momentum.

Temple is now flying in the air and a surge of thoughts are coursing through her head. (How can

I turn this to my advantage? How can I take as little damage as possible? What is the best way to

make Violet pay for her actions?) Temple uses telekinesis on her arrows, firing them at her 

clothing to change her positioning in the air. Temple creates steps with her boulders, and uses

her arrows to move herself down them.

While traveling down her rough steps, Temple changes her whips back to their bow form. Placing

an arrow on the string of the bow, Temple fires at the alligator. Seeing a projectile heading for it

the alligator instinctively phases. (No! What have I just done?) These are the alligators final 

thoughts. The boulder and arrow storm comes crashing down the second the alligator is no longer

phased. Temple uses the boulders to safely make it to the ground.

Before the announcement is made Temple looks over the message she had received just after the

other alligator almost got her.

Presence sensing skill description: Using ones instincts they become aware of any looming

danger. In the beginning the skill is automatic, but is you gain a better understanding it can

be used at will. 

“And the winner is Temple Raise! With the end of that match we will now commence the 

semifinals.” Temple returns to the waiting room, and runs into Wave who is entering the

First round of the semifinals. “Good luck Wave!” Temple tells him as she falls asleep on

the bench.
