Sky Soar-High vs Metallic frog x 4
The clanking of metal could be heard, as Sky, and Shadow watched one of the frogs in the
distance stick out its tongue. It was apparent that sparks would be in issue while fighting them.
Sky and Shadow rushed towards the frog, which they had just seen sticking out its tongue.
Shadow tried to dig his claws into the creature, yet that only sent a pain radiating up his claws.
Sky tried a combination attack, this did nothing to the frog, but made Sky sore in both his feet
and his hands. (Looks like we can not rely on physical attacks.) Sky’s mind begins to become
filled with anxiety, just as soon as hi finishes that thought.
Using his advanced wind, Sky tries to lift the metallic frog into the air, however the frog is
to heavy to even be pushed slightly by the wind. The wind which Sky has used, angers the frog.
The frog leaps into the air, then lands next to both Sky and Shadow. The vibrations from the
heavy frog landing on the ground, causes both Sky and Shadow to fall to the ground. While they
are falling, the frog sticks out its tongue, releasing a high consecration of sparks. If it was just
one spark the damage would not have been so bad, but with the multitude striking them, the
damage quickly piled up.
For now all they could do was stay as far away from the frogs as possible. Though this seemed
like a valid strategy, the metallic frogs soon caught on to this ploy. Both Sky and Shadow were
surrounded by these frogs. All at once the frogs hopped into the air and then landed, and again
the duo were pushed to the ground by the vibrations. The sparks hit, and a huge amount of
damage was dealt.
Using both advanced wind and levitation, Sky picks up Shadow, who is now at deaths door step.
Sky needs to save Shadow, but he has now idea how. Placing one of his hands on Shadow’s head,
Sky imagines him running through the forest full of vitality. Suddenly Sky can feel his hand grow
warmer, kind of like holding your hand over a heater on medium heat. Sky then notices
something akin to static electricity, but not has harsh, tingling through the palms of his hand.
the sensation changes a little, and Sky gets the sensation it is moving into Shadow. Shadows
wounds begin to close, and he is soon at full health.
Sky has learned Psionic energy healing
Psionic energy healing skill understanding 1
A case of literary theft: this tale is not rightfully on Amazon; if you see it, report the violation.
Psionic energy healing skill description: Using the energy from within your body, you are able to
heal others by placing your hands on them. With practice it is possible to heal from a distance.
From what Sky could understand, the amount of Psi used for this skill was his choice.
The heavier the damage, the more he would need to use. Sky had used up half his Psi in order to
heal Shadow. Reading the skill description Sky knew it was not possible to heal himself with this
skill.
The two desperately needed to come up with away to counter, and also damage these frogs. While
looking into Shadow’s eyes, Sky noticed the coloring begin to alter. The color that you would
normally see when looking into a dogs eyes, was shifting, becoming the color of fire. These eyes
similar to hazel, yet the color was not green and brown, but instead orange, red, and yellow.
Shadow’s fur was changing from a deep black, to an ash gray. The tips of his claws became
a ruby red. Something big was happening, Sky was sure of it, and some how deep down he knew
this would change the outcome of the fight with the m\metallic frogs.
Shadow did not understand what was happening, his vision was becoming clearer, and the way
things looked before were now more vibrant. What Shadow was seeing for the first time was
color, but never seeing color before, how could he possibly know what he was seeing.
A warm heat was flowing through the center of Shadow’s stomach. This felt new but normal
to Shadow. To Shadow it felt like he could move this heat from his stomach all the way up
his throat, and then out of his mouth.
Landing on the ground after Shadow’s transformation, Sky watched as Shadow run directly
towards one of the frogs. Moving the warmth from his stomach up through his neck, then
letting it out through his mouth, a small flame hits the frog. Shadow tries moving the warmth
faster, which creates a bigger flame. The frog can feel the heat changing its body to liquid,
and gets away as soon as possible.
Mutation complete
Due to the constant exposure to heat from the lava, Shadow has mutated into a new breed of
wolf.
Shadow has become a wolf phoenix
Wolf phoenix breed description: A wolf who has endured an intense amount of heat for more
than twelve hours. These wolves start out with the power to breath fire, but as time goes on
they can control the very depths of fire. Not only can they create fire, they can put out any
fire once they have gained the ability to control it. Only Wolves with black fur can gain this
mutation. These wolves can also revert to their former appearance, while doing so, the wolf’s
stats are doubled, however it can not control or breath fire in this form.
A trail of melted metal puddles was left behind by the frog. Using advanced wind Sky was able
to lift these puddles into the air, and with that he had a plan. “Shadow use your flame breath to
lure those frogs to me.” Listening closely to his partner Shadow did as he was asked.
The frogs could not stand the heat this stupid wolf was streaming at them. They needed to get
away and the sooner the better. They could see the man in the distance defenseless. The frogs
took a chance and sparks were heading straight towards Sky. Before the sparks could reach him,
Sky flung the melted metal at the frogs with his wind. The ground under the frogs feet, melted,
and soon hardened. All four frogs were trapped.
Shadow came from behind, while Sky used the lava surrounding the stadium by picking some up
with his advance wind, and then pouring it on the frogs, while Shadow used his flame breath on
them. The frogs had been turned into nothing more than a metallic goo.
That was when the announcement was made. “And the winner is Sky Soar-High!” Walking into
the waiting room Sky and Shadow were stopped by Aurora. She was looking at Shadow’s new
form with admiration. “Well I am up next, and I watched the whole thing, that was amazing!”
Aurora declared, her eyes holding a spark in them, completely confident she would win her
match.
