Now that the party had the three pieces to make the first dagger
it was time to head back to the blacksmith’s that they could use
for free. Right now they felt like it would be better idea to rest
At the inn for three days, so they could both get some well
needed rest, as well as charge the rings of magnetic force
in the purple sun.
The three days were now up. Willow had went hunting on the
second day in order to get enough quartz to pay everyone back.
All the rings of magnetic force were placed deep into their backpacks.
This was so that they would not be exposed to the sunlight from outside
this city. The party headed back the way they had entered the city.
While in the desert sand Sky looks at Wave. “Hey Wave I just thought
Of something, how do we get off the island without killing our selves?”
Wave thought about it. (Sure four of them could levitate, but could they
really carry everyone. It was one thing for a short height, but they might
run out of KI before they made it to the ground.) “Ugh, I have no idea,
I thought maybe levitation, but I do not think our KI will last at this height.”
“I have an idea. What if you reversed the polarity of some of this sand,
drop it to the ground, then change the polarity of the magnets on our
boots so That they mach the sand on the ground.
Just make sure to put enough sand for a soft landing.”
Temple’s idea seemed worth a shot.
Wave still has a sand bucket from the time he, Willow, and Sky went to
the beach with that mother’s children. Filling the sand bucket Wave
then reverses the magnetic polarity of the sand within it. Wave pours
the sand off the island. It takes about an hour before it feels like there
is enough sand on the ground. Wave starts to levitate and is holding
Shadow in his arms. Willow holds Violet, and Sky holds Temple.
They turn their bodies so that their feet are facing the sand now by
the portal cavern. Wave changes the magnetic polarity of everyone’s
boots. The party is now being pulled down towards the ground.
This is going a little faster then they had hoped, but their is enough
soft sand to prevent any serious injury.
Once everyone was on the ground, they put their boots into their
backpacks. The party was camping for the first night. Willow woke
Up to the smell of smoke. “No way, how could she have!” Willow
steps outside and sure enough there is a blaze of fire off in the distance.
This did not make sense to her, they had grabbed every thing Violet
had to make fire with, and checked after every time she buys supplies.
Willow enters Temple and Aurora’s tent. “Violet fire!” Willow screams
into Aurora’s ear to wake her up. Upon waking up. “Again but how?”
Temple wakes up to Aurora’s words. “What is going on guys?”
Not wanting to waste time explaining Willow and Aurora just drag
Temple outside to see for herself. “So that is what you two meant.”
Entering Wave’s tent, Willow places her tongue on his left ear and
slowly licks it. The shock wake Wave up and in response he ends
Up punching Sky, who is on his right side in the neck. Sky is now
awake from the punch. Seeing Willow next to Wave, Sky can only
guess what happened. Temple looks on in a way that gives the
impression she is watching a television series unfold in front of
herself.
After learning that Violet has started another fire, Sky and Wave
head to its direction with the rest of the party. Not sure how
She could have even started the fire, the party walks up to
her, and see two sticks being rubbed together. “Really Violet!”
Everyone but Temple screams. Temple does not know that
this was not the first time Violet has started a fire in the
middle of the night.
Now that the fire was put out, everyone went back to sleep.
Every night camping the party now ties up Violet and leaves
Shadow to guard her. From an outsiders point of view it may
look like she has been kidnapped.
The party has to deal with more shadow puppies. The addition

of having Temple with them makes it much easier. Temple would
throw boulders on to the shadows themselves, which would force
The shadow puppy to come out from it. Willow bit down hard on
each one that would come up, or she would cut them with her knife.
Entering the blacksmith’s Wave and Violet each made a weapon
and accessory. Wave made the broach they would need using the
spark orb, and golden opal. Violet made a dagger from the two
pieces, the hilt and blade. Before they could forge them together
They needed a very special crystal, well according to the book
anyways. It was called pure mana crystal. Everyone one knew
about mana crystal but they had never heard of pure mana crystal.
Looking through the book it was also clear they would need a
piece of it for every single weapon of the gods.
While the rest of the party was looking for any information on
pure mana crystal, Willow had over heard another party talking.
“They remind me of the shadow puppies.” “I know but they are
much smarter and more dangerous.” “Dam those shadow rats.”
“Lucy lost all of her loot, not just from dying, but from them
stealing it.” “What? Really!?” “Yeah and to top it off, they are
Blocking the path to eagle mountain.” “That is just great, and
here I thought I would be able to sell some eagle eggs.”
(Shadow rats huh, I think I will try and tame one) Willow
thought to herself.
Since coming back to town Willow had piled up a lot more
quartz. “I would like to purchase some cheese, about fifty
Pieces should do.” The shop keeper took out fifty pieces of
cheese for Willow. “That will be seven hundred quartz please.”
Willow pays the man. “Will that be all miss?” “Could I also
get forty loafs of bread, and twenty hamburger patties?”
“Yes and it will come up to one thousand seven hundred quartz.”
Getting her final supplies, Willow heads in the direction of
eagle mountain.
Just below a hill top near eagle mountain, Willow looks up
the hill to see the colony of shadow rats. Their fur is in a
wide array of colors, but everyone has mostly black fur covering
themselves. There is only two different eye colors, either red or
blue. This seems to be true, that is until Willow sees one rat
That stands out from the others, its eyes seem to be an indigo
color and has sparkle to them, which gives the impression
it is smarter then all the rest. This rats fur is mostly black
aside from the white lightning bolt shape on its back, and
silver spiral on the tip of its head. (I want that one, no matter
what.) Willow is deep in thought and is brimming with
anticipation.
Following the colony of shadow rats at a distance Willow
is as quite as possible, this is so that they do not feel threatened
by her. When night falls Willow puts out a trail of food for the
Indigo eyed rat. The rest of the colony is asleep, it follows the
scent and eats the pieces of cheese that Willow has left it.
The rat and Willow are now in a small tunnel. Willow brought
It her so she would not have to deal with any of the other shadow
rats. Willow comes out of her hiding place and puts out some bread.
The rat does eat this, yet it still does not accept Willow. Willow
Keeps giving the rat food until she runs out. Even though the rat
can tell that she has run out of food, it does not leave nor does
it attack. Looking at the knife by Willow’s side the rat grabs
it with its hands, then to Willow’s surprise the rat drops it
into her hands.
The rat seems to be waiting for something. It takes Willow
about five minutes before she clues in to what it wants.
“Oh so you wont come with me unless I prove my worthiness
to you, huh.” The rat lets out a squeaking sound indicating its
Joy to her answer.
Willow raises her knife in the air, with that the rat leaps forwards.
As it gets close Willow slashes downwards, this is because the
rat is almost at her feet. Willow is shocked at first when the blade
hits nothing but thin air. Willow had completely forgotten it was
a shadow rat. The rat appears from behind her an knocks her down.
Willow gets up before its claws can tear into her.
The rat starts to go inside the shadow once more, this time Willow
is able to graze it with her knife on the nick of its tail. The Shadow
rat suddenly falls on Willow’s head from the sky. The rat manages
to scratch her cheek before she is able to get it off. The shadow
rat disappears into the shadows once more.
Willow feels the rats tail grab her leg and it suddenly knocking
her onto the ground. The rat comes out from the shadow its tail
appeared from and bites down on Willow’s right hand. Just before
The rat manages to get back into the shadow Willow bites down
hard on its tail. The rat jumps into the air and goes into a different
shadow above them.
Willow waits for the rat, knife in her hand, wondering how long
It will take before it gets out from the shadows to attack her once
More. The rat comes out from a shadow a distance away, quickly
running to her it uses its body to knock Willow to the ground
once more. Willow counters with a quick slash, but it does nothing
to stop the rat.
Willow is now out of tactics. Out of frustration Willow sends
Out a stream of standard shadow flame. Since the rat was not
currently in any shadows it was intrigued by Willow’s flames
made out of shadow. In fact it was so intrigued it started to
play and travel through the flames.
Please choose a name for your new pet
Willow thought it over for a bit before deciding on a name.
Is Raid your pets name?
Willow quickly confirmed the name. “Welcome Raid, and by the way
that was a fun battle.” Willow and Raid head to eagle mountain, while
the other shadow rats were asleep.
Willow was attacking some eagles with her shadow flames, when
Suddenly out of the flames popped Raid, who then bit down onto
the eagle.
Pet skill created Flaming gate of the shadow rat
After getting some eagle eggs and waiting for night fall Willow
and Raid headed to the inn to meet up with everyone.
The party did not know Willow had gotten herself a pet.
Raid was currently traveling inside her shadow. She could
bring him out at any time even if there was no shadows in
sight. Willow’s shadow flames allowed her to choose
when and where he would appear.
“Willow you are finally back, now say ah.” Willow did as
Aurora asked, and soon a small piece of candy was placed into
her mouth. Temple explained what they found out about
pure mana crystals while she was gone. “Pure mana crystals
Are formed from the tear drops of a purple unicorn, and a
Purple unicorn will only appear after a party slays five
hundred unicorns. Their are some unicorns located past
eagle mountain.” Willow slaps her palm to her head.
“I was just at eagle mountain.”
Willow informs the party of how to get past the shadow rats.
They are now pacing through eagle mountain. Wave is sending
lightning bolts in every direction, trying not to hit the party
in the process. This is to deal with the swarm of eagles that
Willow has angered by eating one of their eggs.
After getting to the other side of the mountain the party
can see unicorns drinking from a spring. The party is
impatient, and ends up doing one of the most stupid things.
They charge in boldly and start to attack the unicorns.
Ice daggers come hurling at them from every end.
Lucky for everyone Violet is with them and blocks with
a rain of fire. This gives the party enough cover so they
can go back and hide, they will need a better plan.
