Violet Pillar vs Sand lizard x 5

Violet closely monitored the lizards, as the soil where they had been digging was being shifted

from soft and moist, to dry and dusty. Sand was now covering a huge portion of the stadium, and

Violet was certain that this would case her many problems down the road. 

Violet took her first steps in the newly formed sand. Since Violet had burned her socks and shoes

earlier in the waiting room to start a fire, her feet were now bare. The heat from the sand caused

a bit of discomfort, as Violet walked towards one of the lizards.

Not knowing what to expect from her, the lizard quickly scurries away from her. Violet swings

her sword downwards, and a fireball is blasted towards the medium size lizard. Seeing the 

fireball, the lizard uses its tail to kick up some sand. The lizards action causes the flame to fade,

much like turning off a light switch.  

Having witnessed the lizard easily putting out her fireball, Violet reaches for her flame gun next

to her right side. (If a small fireball does not work maybe a stream of fire would!) With that 

thought in mind, Violet pulls the trigger to the flame gun while pointing it in the lizards direction.

For a brief second panic fills the lizard, but this does not last. The lizard digs deep into the soil, 

then leaps up while spinning. The twisting of its body while jumping into the air causes the soil,

which has now been changed to sand, to become a small tornado. This small tornado has enough

force to extinguish the flame Violet’s gun has just created.

Rather than continue with her assault from a distance, Violet races to catch up to the lizard.

The lizard sees the young woman tailing from behind, and knows she will be within striking 

distance in no time flat. Halting, the lizard prepares for a counter attack.

Violet is both shocked and exited by the lizard’s sudden choice to stop running away.Violet 

rotates her blade,arcing it downwards, so that her blade will head straight towards the lizard.

In response the lizard kicks up some sand into Violets eyes. The temporary blindness cause

Violet’s attack to miss its target.

The lizards lashes its tail under Violet’s legs. With a loud crash Violet falls to the ground. 

From the spectators perspective, the lizard’s movement looks like a blur. The lizard is now on top

of Violets face. Violet can feel the lizard standing on her stomach. A crunching sound is heard,

this is from the lizard biting down on Violet’s face. In retaliation, Violet punches the lizard, which

happens to still be on her stomach.

The lizard is cast into the air from Violet’s right fist smacking hard against its body. Violet rises 

from the ground, and has finally recovered from the blinding sand. Giving chase to the still flying

lizard, Violet uses her sword to create three fireballs. The lizard can see three fireballs heading for

Knowing it can not block all of the fireballs, the lizard sticks out its tongue. Instead of spiting

out saliva, the lizard spits out a great deal of sand, which was still in its mouth from earlier.

Violet gets a better view, as one of her fireballs fade from existence. The other two fireballs make

contact with the lizard, causing it to be pushed down to the ground. In the time it would take for

the sand lizard to hit the ground, Violet immaculately fires her flame gun.

The lizard can feel the heat increasing beneath itself, and there is no possible way to avoid the pit

of fire under its location. The heat burns, the lizard barley makes it out alive. Digging its way into

the ground, the lizard manages to put out the flames covering its body.

(It will not be long before I finish of the first sand lizard.) A smug smile spreads across Violet’s 

face while thinking this to herself. When the lizard surfaces, Violet is ready. The lizard prepares

to counter another fireball from Violet sword, to do this it kicks up some more sand. Violet was

tricking the lizard, it fell for her ploy. Instead of swing her sword, Violet throws it, and because

the lizard thought it was another fireball, avoiding the sword became impossible.

The lizard feels a sharp pain, as the sword pierces throughout its entire body. Violet has now 

beaten the first sand lizard. The confidence Violet had before starting her match returns.

Violet should have been paying more attention to the rest of the sand lizards. About seventy 

percent of the stadium was now changed to sand, and Violet could not see the rest of the lizards

anywhere. 

(Where are they all hiding?) Panic was beginning to pool together in her thoughts. (What traps

have they set up for me?) This line of thought was within reason when fighting an enemy, but

if panic sets in you are bound to make mistakes, and usually big ones, which could have easily

been avoided.

Violet starts walking in the direction of the sand. When she places her second foot onto one of

the sand piles, she begins to sink. Violet knows immediately what this is. (Great they made quick

Sand!) Before she is pulled fully under the sand, Violet unleashes her cryokinesis skill, freezing

the sand covering her body. A new problem has been created, Violet is now trapped in ice.

Thinking quickly Violet covers her feet with fire magic. Remembering a party skill she had once

created with Wave, Violet wills the fire covering her feet to explode. Violet is blasted into the air,

shards of frozen sand go flying towards the spectators. The host of the tournament uses some 

form of a barrier to block the attack.

Violet is still rising through the air, and is about to take a large amount of fall damage the second

she stops. (What should I do to stop the fall damage?) She wonders to herself. Seconds before 

hitting the ground, Violet pulls out her flame gun. When she fires the beam her momentum 

is lowered, and she soon lands softly onto the ground.

Explosion skill description: A modified version of fire or flame magic. Willing the fire to

combust, pressure and intense heat are created. The pressure can also be used for movement,

such as to flying in midair, or to get places quickly.

Fire manipulation has maxed out and has evolved into fire domination

Fire domination stat description: One who wields the very foundation of fire.

Higher stat levels allow one to spontaneously combust with out dying.

Taking advantage of her new explosion skill, Violet flies into the air. Wanting to end this quickly,

Violet with help from her fire domination stat, uses advance fire magic. The whole fighting area

of the stadium is lit up like a bonfire. The screams of the remaining sand lizards are heard as they

are incinerated.

“And the winner is Violet Pillar!” Hearing that announcement, Violet uses her new explosion skill

to hover over the fire and return to the waiting room. Temple looks on in horror at the scene in 

front of her. They had just finished putting out the fire in the waiting room about five minutes ago. 

Temple cannot even get near the door for her next round.

The party hears the host make another announcement. “Due to a large amount of damage

to the stadium’s fighting area, the next match will be postponed for about three hours.

Please bare with use while we put out the flame.” For now Temple checks over her

weapons and other items.
