Sky Soar-High vs Twisting Elephant
“Eh?” Are the first words to come out of Sky’s mouth once he sees the elephant. Its body reminds
Sky of a brand name candy known as a twizzler. The elephants body also reminded him of distant
pavement on a hot day, warping almost like it was trying to fold in on itself.
The loud trumpet like sound could be heard across the room as the elephant lifted its trunk. The
ground quaked as the elephant made is way over to Sky. Shadow was stunned be the size of the
creature, rather than its appearance. The elephants stomping as it moved nearly caused Shadow
to tip over.
Shadow dug into the earth with his claws, changing to his new from when he realized he had
dug into a small pool of lava. Shadow came to the conclusions that flinging a bit of lava towards
the elephant would be a good first attack. As caught small droplets of lava between his claws, he
then lifts them and later shakes them when they are higher in the air. The lava goes flying in the
direction of the elephant, Shadow feeling confident the attack will come into contact with the
other animal.
Red splats of warm liquid are traveling to the elephant at a fast rate. The elephant simply stands
still as the liquid comes into contact with and area of its body. The lava goes through a warping
bend on the elephant and Shadow feels a strong wave of disappointment wash over himself.
The elephant begins heading to the one who has sent that red liquid to its location. The whole
stadium vibrates including the spectators seats and every inch of the waiting room from the
Weight and speed of the elephants movements. Both Sky and Shadow can see the large twisting
tusks of the elephant as it lets out another trumpet like cry.
Now that the elephant has made its way to Shadow the creature begins is assault. Rather than
wrapping its trunk around Shadow, the elephant wraps its hard tusks around him instead. Shadow
can feel the pain of being squeezed by the flexible rock like tusk attached to the elephant.
All of Shadow’s bones snap from the pressure, and the hard tusk is unaffected by the searing heat
let out by Shadow’s current form. Shadow feels a sense of relief as the elephant drops him to the
ground, then soon feels horror as he clues in to the action the dropping is leading to. The elephant
stomps down on Shadow with it right foot, since Shadow’s bones are broken there is nothing he
can do to stop this cruel act. The elephant then kicks him to its left foot, stomping down again.
The elephant just keeps on passing Shadow back and forth between its to feet and stomping
down each time.
(What do I do? I have to heal Shadow and fast, but I do not want to end up in the same situation!)
Sky was panicking, he did have a skill to heal Shadow, but he need a way to get him out of that
tough spot. (If only I could multiple like a slime!) Sky begins to fill his whole body with mana
right down to the cellular structure. (Copy, divide, separate.) Sky instructs both his cells and
mana. Sky feels a weird sense of being in to places at once, and then boom, there are now to
Skys but one mind shared between them.
Sky has created the clone skill
Clone skill understanding 1
Clone skill description: Using mana to duplicate yourself on a cellular level. The clone
and the original share one mind, so it may be hard to get the task you want done as dividing
consciousness between two bodies is not easy. As it becomes easier to control two bodies at
once more clones can be made. The skill uses mana to create the clone, however if enough
time passes both the clone and the original may regenerate mana and other stats. You will not
die if the clone dies, however you will still suffer from shock. You can merge back with the clone
at any time however even if the clone has more energy or health than you, you will not restore
any of those stats when merging.
One Sky leaps into the air, while the other slides under the elephants foot pushing Shadow
forwards with a combination attack. The second Shadow is out from under the foot of the
elephant the second Sky lands on top of its back. The second Sky begins to combined wind
and his combination attack. It was not enough to create a skill, but it did not matter, the gust
of wind dealt some damage, while the combo attack just went through one of the twisting bends

on the elephant.
The first Sky begins to gather psi to heal shadow. Shadow could feel his bones being mended,
also the soothing warmth of his body being healed. Shadow could now stand up freely. A look
of puzzlement spread across his face at the sight of two Skys. (Why have I never meet Sky’s
sibling before? When did he arrive here?) These thoughts of confusion continuing to fill the
wolf’s mind.
The second Sky was running low on mp from the continued use of his wind skills. (Okay looks
like it is time to get off this thing.) following this thought pattern the second Sky leaps off of the
elephant onto the warm ground. The second Sky continues on with combination attacks, none
hitting the elephant.
The ground shakes as the elephant tries to stomp down on the man in front of itself. The elephant
becomes annoyed when it can not land a single hit on the agile young man. It even goes as far as
slamming its trunk in the center, yet the man just ends up doing a backflip to avoid its trunk.
Anger sweeps over the elephant as another one of its attacks have now missed.
The second Sky felt how close of a call that had been. If he had not noticed in time the force of
the swing from the trunk would have sent him flying and in all likely hood he would have landed
in a pool of lava.
Shivers ran down the first Sky’s back at the thought. Sure there were two of him, however they
shared one mind, so if the second Sky had ended up in the pool of lava he would have felt the
pain and in all likely hood would have been stunned from shock.
Shadow allowed the first Sky to mount himself. Both the first Sky and Shadow now floated in
midair from the levitation skill the first Sky was using. Shadow tried to calm the flames around
himself so that the first Sky would not get injured from them.
The first Sky was deep in thought, while still focusing on the other fight with the clone body.
(This may be a bad idea but I will try it anyways.) The first Sky focuses on the bond he shares
with Shadow. Sky connects his mind with the young wolf.
Shadow could feel a telepathic tug as Sky was about to merge with him. This would be his second
time becoming the werewolf form and the first time in his new wolf phoenix form. Sky’s ideas
begin to fill Shadow’s.
The second Sky could feel his mind begin to diverge from the original Sky. The two would have
separate thoughts once the original became a werewolf. (What will happen once he is no longer
in werewolf form? Would it be like trying to fill your head with some other person’s thoughts?)
These where the types of questions on the second Sky’s mind as they became to different people.
The original Sky felt a wall go up around his mind once he became one with Shadow. Trying to
adjust to the constant fire floating around the wolf man’s new body, Sky gathers it to his claws.
Sky then brings wind to the other claw. One claw is covered in an intense fire, while the other
has a wind current circling around and between each finger.
The second Sky begins to fight harder so that the elephant does not notice the werewolf above.
His kicks and punches collide with the elephant’s feet and trunk, each time the force of the
collision pushing him backwards. There are a few times he misses due to the twisting and
bending nature of the elephant, when this would happen he would have to doge the elephant’s
counter attacks. The damage dealt by these attacks seemed like they were no more than scratches
to the elephant.
In their werewolf form Sky and Shadow unleashed their combined elemental attack at the
elephant. Blades of wind and streams of fire came into contact with the elephant, each one
at a different end as to not cause an explosion. The reason for not wanting to create an explosion
was simple, neither Sky nor Shadow wanted to cause harm to Sky’s clone.
The second Sky avoided the attacks which were being let loose by the werewolf from above.
He instead focused his attention on distracting the elephant. This was not an easy task with the
other version of himself dealing a large portion of damage to the elephants health.
(Again?) The elephant thought to itself, looking around to spot the cause, yet never getting the
chance to find out where it was coming from. The man in front was much like a bug who would
not die no matter how many times you tried to squash it under your feet.
The second Sky’s mp had recovered after only using basic attacks which only used up stamina.
Stamina had increased from the constant traveling, so basic attacks felt like they had an unlimited
supply of it. This was not the case in reality, but it would take a long time for stamina to run low
just from these type of attacks.
The second Sky begins to use advanced wind on the elephant, carefully avoiding any spot that
fire was being launched at. The wind was capable of stopping the elephants feet from stomping
down on the second Sky at this level, meaning it was not just for offense, but a form of defense
as well for the second Sky.
The elephant begins to panic as its health lowers faster and faster. The elephant begins to spin its
body, at a moment that is catastrophic for everyone else. Both wind attacks collide with the fire.
The second Sky and the werewolf merged being all go flying from the pressure created from the
explosion.
The second Sky can not help but worry, that is until he remembers he to can use the levitation
skill. (Man that really hurt! Lucky I used the levitation skill in time or that could have hurt a lot
more than just the impact from the blast.) The second Sky looking down at the lava pool below
while thinking these things.
Sky and Shadow dig their claws into the ground as they try to slow down the continued
momentum. (Well Shadow that hurt! No kidding right?) They could hear one another laughing
in their head. Two different thoughts in the same head giving them a mild headache with how
loud that laughter seemed to the two of them.
Shadow and Sky used the advanced wind to pick up some lava from behind them. The second
Sky seeing what they are doing does the same. Both use their wind to create a cloud of lava
above the elephant.
The elephant can feel warmth from above but pays it no mind. (Where did they both go? I must
kill them and destroy their bodies afterwards!) If anyone could read the twisting elephant’s mind
they would be shocked at what it was thinking.
Almost like a count down clock had hit one, both Sky’s stop their wind skill. The heavy cloud of
lava pours down onto the searching elephant. The lava trickles down to the elephants eyes which
causes them to melt and become a soft liquid. Then the tough hide of the elephant melts away.
Finally the tusks attached to the elephant melt along with its bones.
The three could hear the announcement being made. “And the second winner of the semifinals is
Sky Soar-high!” Sky and Shadow return to normal, and once they do the two Skys are hit with a
wave of nausea from the sudden collision of diverging memories. The two Skys merge back as
one and head into the waiting room.
Willow pass by on the way to her round and tells Sky. “You know I watched your whole match,
and I got to say having two of you around could be a lot of fun!” Chills run down Sky’s back as
Willow winks while finishing her sentence. Sky did not know if Willow meant that in a subjective
way or if she meant it in a way that she wanted to dissect him while he was cloned. That girl often
brings him to a state of terror.
