These two mages are actually from two different organizations that had the power in the Blue Hope compared to the other smaller-level organizations.
One of them is from Dark Sickle, and the other one is from Dark Father. They were both stationed in the practice room so that they could gather information for their respective organizations.
“This will escalate faster than we expected,” the Dark Sickle mage said.
The Dark Father mage nodded,
“The Frost Elves and the Third Circle were bound to clash. Especially after that attack on the base of the Third Circle."
Without another word, they parted ways, each heading toward their respective bases to report the events.
----------------------------------------
Rud looked at the mage kneeling before him.
“So,” Rud said,
“The Frost Elves and Third Circle couldn’t keep their tempers in check. Predictable.”
The mage nodded.
“Yes, my lord. Their skirmish in the practice room has spilled over to others too; I believe at least ten to fifteen mages were killed.”
“And what of Dark Sickle?”
“They remain officially neutral, but it’s clear they are watching closely.”
Rud chuckled.
“Typical Lady Lide-El Tis and real figure Oprein is managing everything. No matter. We’ll do the same.”
“From the outside, we’ll provide Frost Elves with what they need—resources, minor reinforcements, No direct involvement. If they fall, so be it. If they win, we’ll celebrate their victory.”
The mage bowed deeply. “Understood, my lord.”
----------------------------------------
Lady Lide-El Tis Nis sat in silence.
“So, the Frost Elves and the Third Circle have finally begun their little war, Fools. All of them.”
“Should we intervene, my lady? Perhaps this is an opportunity to strengthen our position. I believe Lord Oprein would like to talk to you about this matter.”
“Intervene? No, we are just the face of the Dark Sickle.”
“I am just their face from the outside.”
“As you say, the leader, master Oprein, will decide on what to do...”
“I believe, when I tell him what happened, he will want to wait and see.”
“In the end, even if he wants to wait, other organizations will not stop.”
“In one to two weeks, the death count of the people will increase to five thousand to ten thousand...”
The narrative has been taken without permission. Report any sightings.
“Let Rud think we’re aligned with him. Let the Frost Elves believe we are their allies. In the end, we will benefit regardless of who triumphs. Dark Sickle's target is Sylind House right now, and both parties are enemies with him...”
The underling bowed low. “As you command, my lady.”
----------------------------------------
As the mages of both factions prepared for the inevitable escalation, the Dark Sickle and Dark Father operatives worked subtly behind the scenes.
Rud and Lady Lide-El Tis kept a careful watch on the situation, their underlings reporting every development.
----------------------------------------
The Frost Elves and the Third Circle, now openly at odds
Veronica focused on planning the next attacks and finding new uses for small mages scattered around the ship.
Her belief is simple, despite mages below level three are not big forces and could not handle big fights, in the end as long as they have special spells that can be useful in different kinds of states of the war and have uses of different sides of the battle, She believed they are still useful to herself.
In regards to these ideas of hers, she said some of the undercover mages of hers to recruit mages from below to work for the Third Circle.
----------------------------------------
As Rud sat in his chambers, sipping a glass of dark wine, he smiled to himself. The Frost Elves and Third Circle would weaken each other, leaving the survivors ripe for manipulation.
Lide-El Tis Nis shared a similar thought; he believed that Dark Sickle and their people are best when it comes to these kinds of things.
Both leaders knew that in this game of alliances and betrayals, only the most cunning would emerge victorious. And for now, they were content to let the pawns play their part.

Sylas leaned back in his chair,
His eyes flicked over the group gathered before him. Machivel sat closest,
Gran leaned slightly forward, hands clasped.
Redel’s presence exuded quiet power, while Suntuzel looked restless, his fingers drumming against the edge of the table.
“Machivel, how are the plans progressing with Warrent, Ares, and Sardias?”
Machivel adjusted his robe slightly,
“They’re operating as instructed. Each of them has fully integrated into their respective levels. They’ve been strategically placed across different levels to ensure no one grows suspicious of our activities.”
Sylas nodded,
“And the others? The mages you’ve been working on?”
Machivel glanced briefly at Suntuzel, then back to Sylas.
“The conversion process is stable. They are effectively tools now, devoid of will but retaining enough magical potency to function as we need.
“Their placement ensures we’ll have control over key areas should the situation demand it.”
Suntuzel interjected, his tone slightly agitated.
“The conversion is all well and good, but it’s only a matter of time before someone notices. Especially with the tension between the factions. The Frost Elves and the Third Circle are already at each other’s throats. The battle has started.”
Sylas shifted his gaze to Suntuzel. “How do you know this?”
Machivel answered before Suntuzel could speak.
“I have my sources. Their skirmishes began in one of the practice rooms and have since escalated. Veronica will send someone to drag us into this mess. Perhaps not directly at first, but her intention will be to force our hand.”
“Veronica, always aiming to pull strings without dirtying her own hands. At this point, I can say that Third Circle is an organization like that, and it does not surprise me anymore.”
Gran finally spoke,
“What will our position be when her people come? We can’t keep playing neutral if they expect us to pick a side.”
-
“Neutrality is our strength right now. Neither the Frost Elves nor the Third Circle will trust us fully, but they will hesitate to act against us as long as we appear uninvolved. If Veronica pushes, we’ll send just enough aid to satisfy her curiosity, but not enough to tilt the scales. We keep both sides guessing.”
“In reality, keeping the face of neutrality and getting our purpose done, the plan of harming Frost Elves and Dark Sickle.”
