Chapter 105 - Ice, Fire and Lightning

Sylas smiled, a glint of satisfaction in his eyes as he commanded Sardias, Ares, and Redel to lie down on the ground.

“Prepare yourselves,” he said softly, almost to himself.

"This will be a transformation unlike anything you've experienced before."

The three mechanical beings obeyed instantly.

"Good."

Sylas whispered to himself and started working.

With synchronized movements, they stretched out on the cold floor, waiting for the transformation to begin.

Despite their artificial nature, there was something almost reverent in the air—a stillness that hung between master and servant.

"It must be because of magic." Sylas commented.

He then walked to the side of the room, where piles of magical materials were neatly arranged.

The components he had gathered after the battle with the Origin Frost King were invaluable—rare gems infused with elemental power, crystallized essence of ancient creatures, and mana stones that hummed with raw energy.

"If this improvement was done before the battle with the Origin Frost King, I would only be able to upgrade them to level two magical warriors."

"But, now that I know more and have the parts of Origin Frost King and Fire Crystals and Lightning Crystals as well as Frost Crystal from the body of Origin Frost King, things have changed."

"I did not expect Third Circle to give me not just what I wanted but more; it seems like they want to invest in me to keep the relationships great."

Sylas learned from Gran that after he and Redoran left for training, they had ambushed. A cargo car arrived, and the driver of it said that more materials were to be given to himself to show the goodwill of Third Circle.

Gran did not know what to do with the cargo and accepted it, waiting for himself to come so that he could decide.

"It is only natural for him to accept and let me be to decide to take it."

"Which I did." Sylas smiled and then kept on working.

As he sifted through the materials, he reflected on how much had changed in so little time. His power had surged beyond anything he had anticipated after that battle.

A case of theft: this story is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.

His magical abilities, which had already been formidable, now felt limitless.

"I never imagined this level of control."

Sylas whispered to himself as he picked up a deep blue crystal, its surface shimmering with freezing energy.

"My mastery over magic has evolved—its practical theory, its applications, and most importantly, its limits are no longer an enigma to me."

He couldn’t help but smile. His victory against the Origin Frost King had not only cemented his status as a near-peak level four mage but had also opened up a new realm of understanding.

His knowledge of magical theory had deepened; he could now manipulate and bend the laws of magic in ways he never could before. This understanding was going to be critical in upgrading his three leaders that share the same surname with himself.

“These upgrades…” Sylas said, glancing down at the motionless figures of Sardias, Ares, and Redel,

"They will not just increase your power—they will fundamentally alter your nature. You will no longer be simple mechanical warriors but forces of magic themselves, infused with elemental might."

One by one, Sylas placed the materials next to each of his generals. For Sardias, he chose fire-infused crystals, rich in the essence of flame, ensuring his body would become a conduit for destructive fire magic.

For Ares, he selected mana stones brimming with lightning, intending to make his attacks as swift and devastating as the storm. Finally, for Redel, he placed ice-bound fragments from the Frost King’s own body to ensure that his control over the element of ice would rival that of the Frozen Realm’s greatest warriors.

“These enhancements will change your very essence.”

Sylas said, his voice low as he began the process of fusing the magical components into their bodies.

He also shaped them better and added more stronger materials so that they were strong not only in the magical sense but also in the sense of matter.

“You will no longer be limited by your original designs.”

He extended his hands over Sardias first, channeling his magical energy into the fire-infused crystals. He could feel the power surging, reshaping the very structure of Sardias's core systems.

The intricate patterns of magic flowed seamlessly into the mechanical body, interweaving with the essence of flame.

“Fire and destruction will be your domain, Sardias. You will burn through our enemies, leaving nothing but ash in your wake.”

Next, he moved to Ares, repeating the process with the lightning-infused mana stones.

“You will be the storm that strikes without warning, swift and deadly.”

Finally, he reached Redel, placing his hands on the ice-bound fragments.

“Ice, control, and dominion over the battlefield will be yours. You will freeze time itself if needed.”

As Sylas worked, the room pulsed with magic, and the bodies of his generals began to glow faintly, their new power slowly integrating into their systems.

This was more than just an upgrade—this was a complete metamorphosis.

Sylas stepped back, satisfied.

"When you awaken, the three of you will be more than just warriors. You will be the generals of the Sylind Empire, harbingers of my will. And with your newfound power, nothing will stand in our way."

He smiled again, his gaze unwavering.
