Mila
For the first time in a long while, Mila smiled while not putting on a show for anyone. Then she got back to work, first pulling up the individual rewards she had earned.
You have led your army to a complete and flawless victory in the War of the Chosen.
Competency is to be rewarded!
You have gained the following individual benefits:
1. +1 Uniqueness Awakening Boon
2. +1 75% off coupon for any item from the Army Points Store
3. +2 50% off coupons for any items from the Army Points Store
4. All information about your classes’ possible advancements up to Empyrean grade
5. All information about your race’s possible advancements up to Empyrean grade
6. All information about your bloodline’s possible advancements up to Empyrean grade
7. Two choices from the following list of five possible rewards
List of reward options (Pick 2):
1. +1 Uniqueness Awakening Boon
2. +1 Boon of Shadows
3. +1 Divine Essence of Love and Marriage
4. +1 Divine Essence of Rebellion
5. +173,946,165,120 Army Points
The individual rewards for a normal winning general were one Uniqueness Awakening Boon, information about his or her race and the rest up to Heroic grade, and one individual reward nowhere near as impressive as a second Uniqueness Awakening Boon or the other options Mila could choose from, so Mila had gained quite a bit by achieving a complete and flawless victory.
The discount coupons especially would make an incredibly huge impact.
As for the list of five possible rewards, the second Uniqueness Awakening Boon was probably worth the least, divine forces having quite a few ways to help awaken uniquenesses, but, for Mila, it was the most attractive as it would allow her to catch up to Aalam’s number of uniquenesses without having to first steal from a divine or A rank force. The Boon of Shadows, on the other hand, was probably worth the most, but to Mila it was useless.
The boon would allow her to change to a new identity at will in the eyes of the System and anyone using the System to check on her, but Mila specialized in manipulating bonds and could pretty easily fool the System by herself in ways even the System couldn’t track due to her current two uniquenesses and her Laws. From the System’s perspective, she was still Shadow from Hira after all, not Li Mila from Earth.
Finally, the Divine Essence of Love and Marriage and the Divine Essence of Rebellion were energy sources which could help evolve her bloodline to Empyrean grade. Checking the information she’d just gained on the subject, there were 31 other resources which could do the same, for a total of five possible bloodline advancements, but the two advancements represented by the two divine essences were the best.
The bloodline she could advance to with the Divine Essence of Rebellion would allow her to break away from Aalam while also possibly stealing some of his power, so she definitely wouldn’t take it. But the bloodline she could advance to with the Divine Essence of Love and Marriage required several other steps to make function which made her heart start racing extremely fast, so she quickly focused on other things, looking at the System messages of everyone else from the army.
Like her, all the commanders received a Uniqueness Awakening Boon, as that was normal for a winning army. But they also received information about the advancements for their classes, races, and bloodlines up to Mythic grade, which would be helpful for pretty much everyone other than Aalam and Isaiah, who, like her, would have Empyrean grade races and classes by C rank and thus likely wouldn’t find anything in the information which would alter their paths.
The soldiers in the army then only received information about their classes, races, and bloodlines up to Fabled grade, but, for soldiers, this was ridiculous, better than most winning generals, and it gave all the information most would need to advance all the way to A rank or even beyond.
Compiled together, the information everyone from the army received would allow Earth many, many, many complete class paths, knowledge of racial advancement pathways for everyone but the reborn monsters on the planet up to Mythic grade, and all the ways to advance the seven powerful Legendary to Fabled grade bloodlines almost everyone on Earth was born with all the way to Mythic grade.
Just with this, their army had done ridiculously well.
But then there were the individual rewards as well, Aalam’s in particular drawing Mila’s attention.

List of reward options (Pick 1):
1. +1 Soul fading C rank Soul Lord (Mythic) with no bloodline
2. +1 Soul fading C rank Runic Dragon (Empyrean) with the Primordial Titan (Empyrean) bloodline
3. +14,495,513,760 Army Points
Every single commander had the same third choice, and for some, such as Nitya and Mila’s grandmother, that was what they’d be taking, passing the army points to Mila in exchange for resources produced by the United Federation of Planets' wind, earth, water, and fire lotus trees. Given the four trees were in the middle of advancing to A rank, and were of a quite high grade to begin with, fruits from them were as good or better than anything the System could provide for the advancements of those on Earth following the paths of wind, earth, water, or fire, as well as any combination of the four elements, such as Mila’s grandmother following the path of all four elements at once.
Aalam, however, needed resources which couldn’t be found on Earth and, for the best race advancement, he needed to use his bloodline to absorb the genetic power of an extremely strong monster before advancing.
The runic dragon was clearly far more valuable, likely the result of a half runic dragon descended from the Primordial Sovereign advancing into a monster, and, if Aalam chose it, he would probably awaken to one of the best racial abilities in the universe, Runic Enhancement, the defining ability of runic dragons which increased the power of all skills. But, given Aalam had already absorbed Diana’s power, he was already at a slight risk of the Primordial Sovereign or one of his children trying to kill him with a bloodline curse, and that risk would only be exacerbated by absorbing another source of the Primordial Sovereign’s bloodline.
More important, the D rank race Aalam wanted was a variant of the Mythic grade Soul Lord, so absorbing the genetic power of a C rank Soul Lord would provide him an extremely strong foundation.
He and Mila would spend some time reading up on all the information they’d gained already, and which Mila would soon buy with army points, but it was likely the Soul Lord was what Aalam would pick, unless there was something better which could be bought for army points.
Isaiah then, as the third highest individual contributor in the army, also received some pretty nice reward options.
List of reward options (Pick 1):
1. +1 Draconic Fusion Crystal
2. +1 Draconic Soul Purifier Flower
3. +14,495,513,760 Army Points
The Draconic Fusion Crystal was an alchemic material that, when mixed together with the heart of another type of dragon and several other relatively common resources, all of which could be bought directly from the System, would form a specialized pill which would allow a dragon to become a hybrid of their original species and another. They weren’t that rare, with Mila knowing three forces she could steal one from even without doing any active research, but they were worth at minimum 144 A rank universal credits, and that was on the very low end.
Then the Draconic Soul Purifier Flower was another extremely expensive alchemic material, useful for making a type of pill which would allow a dragon to awaken to a strong soul variant race, and it was something Mila had been actively looking for, to the point she’d been planning on stealing one from one of the fifteen different forces she’d identified if she wasn’t able to get it from the War of the Chosen.
After looking through the individual rewards offered to every army member, Mila then took a look at the Army Points Store, and she was pleasantly surprised to find two options she hadn’t been expecting. For 28,991,027,520 army points, she could allow any one of her commanders to choose a second option from their list, which she would almost certainly use to allow Aalam to buy the runic dragon. And, for the much cheaper price of 2,415,918,960 army points, she could buy a material called Four Elements Soul Cleansing Pollen.
It wouldn’t have as strong an effect as a Draconic Soul Purifier Flower when used on Isaiah, but, given Isaiah’s bloodline lowered the barrier to awakening a strong soul variant race when undergoing racial evolution, it would have the same effect when mixed with several easily bought resources from the System and processed by Aalam into a pill. And she could also buy a second dose for her grandmother, which, combined with some more expensive materials available on Earth, could be turned into a slightly more powerful pill which would allow Irena to gain a strong soul variant race as well.
This was, however, only if she could afford to buy anything else after paying for what their force needed most, all three of the top most expensive items in the store.
Divine Compendium Volume I: Foundation (2,435,246,311,680 Army Points)
Divine Compendium Volume II: Ascension (2,435,246,311,680 Army Points)
Divine Compendium Volume III: Divinity (4,870,492,623,360 Army Points)
There were other items she’d also want, such as knowledge of class and race advancements past Empyrean grade to the Divine and Supreme levels, but they were more expensive than even allowing Aalam to get a second item from his list, while, even with her coupons, getting the full Divine Compendium would cost 1.5 times the amount of points her entire army had earned.
Even with her only taking one item from her list and Irena and Nitya not taking any from theirs, gaining more army points instead, she would still need 840 of the army’s 1,728 soldiers to give up their rewards as well. And, if she wanted Aalam to be able to get the dragon and Isaiah and Irena to get the Four Elements Soul Cleansing Pollen, she’d need 28 more, for a total of 868.
Most of Earth’s population had races, bloodlines, and inborn natural talents for training in the yin and yang laws—fire, water, light, darkness, life, and death—but, while Mila had excellent resources for the fire and water elements, accounting for 491 soldiers, what with the four element zone which had been born on Earth due to the energies manifested by the four elemental lotus trees, she had almost nothing for those training in light, darkness, life, and death, the resources they’d stolen from the Violet Mountain Sect not good with those elements either.
Thankfully, Earth also had a race line which was quite common on the Indian subcontinent that specialized in wind, accounting for 123 soldiers who could make use of Earth’s abundant wind resources. And there was another bloodline common in Eastern Europe which specialized in the four elements of fire, water, wind, and earth instead of yin and yang, accounting for 57 soldiers.
Also Darra, Brom’s assistant, trained in the element of earth as well.
So, altogether, there were 672 soldiers whose individual rewards Mila could convert to army points without feeling bad at all.
The other 196, however? Well, they were going to prove more troublesome.
