Interlude: Beginning of a tragedy

At the same time, somewhere in the world, a man was casually eating what looked like an apple.

He was sitting on a tree trunk at the edge of a forest. He was slim with long dark hair falling in front of his face.

His movements appeared calm, but the tense expression on his face betrayed his impatience.

“You’re late!”

Without any warning or apparent interlocutor, his voice suddenly echoed.

“I had some business to take care of.”

A younger voice answered.

A slim figure wearing a long purple coat with a hood hiding its face was slowly moving from behind the man who was still sitting.

The man dressed in purple made no noise as he walked through the foliage as if he was a part of the forest.

His movements were graceful and elegant like a woman, but his voice betrayed his gender.

The strange man finally sat on the tree trunk as well.

“So, what is the plan?”

After his question, the black-haired man turned his head to his left side to look at the mysterious man under the purple hood.

“The situation is bad and unexpected. I never thought something like that would happen.” Immediately answered the man with the purple coat.

“But it happened.” answered the black-haired man before finishing his fruit with a trace of irritation in his voice

“Right. We don’t have any other choice, we must speed up our plans.”

“We will attract a lot of attention if you do something like this. The Ryuno clan will not stand still.”

“I know but we can’t waste any more time. He said it himself, didn't he?”

“Yes, he was desperate the last time I saw him.”

“When death comes it’s only natural, even for him.”

A heavy silence fell between the two mysterious men.

After some time, the black-haired man finally stood up.

“I've had enough rest. I guess it’s time to go back and explain this to him.”

“Sorry to bother you, but you’re the only one I can count on for this.”

His black hair moved along the wind, revealing a grin on his face after hearing this sentence.

“As long as you don’t forget your promise, then I will do everything you told me.”

“I will definitely tell her your help was invaluable.”

The black-haired man smiled one more time before a white light erupted from beneath his shirt.

Like an illusion, the man disappeared, leaving the other one alone.
