I had sustained one attack from the king. It really wasn't much. It was an attack in the knee that had been bitten by the level 72 monster that had been the last monster I fought, back on Kantala. Now, I began to see what had happened. My skin on most of my body had turned a slight gray, because that was what happened when someone became a Warhammer-Human. It wasn't unhealthy, and it actually made the skin more durable. However, that damn knee was being an issue.
It had turned black. A light shade of gray was healthy, as far as someone with the Truth of the Warhammer Bond was concerned, but black? I refused to get it checked by anyone but a properly trained healer, and the idiot doctors who didn't even know the heal assist spell didn't count. On Kantala, to gain the healer class, you needed the Ranged Heal spell. On Earth, I had found out doctors needed to know a lot of nonsense about something called "Anatomy." The worst thing was, it was getting worse! It was overcoming my stats. However, I would not ask weaklings for help.
After two weeks, it still was getting worse. It had spread from my knee around most of the middle of my leg. I checked my skills menu.
I had finally gotten to the bottom of the menu, which were mostly skills I hadn't used for tens of millennia. The third-last skill on there was called Empowered Heal. When I had chosen it, I only knew it was one of the most potent healing skills. Only after I chose it, at level 45, I had found out that it cost five billion mana to cast the cheapest version. Now, I could stomach that cost.
The most expensive one cost hundreds of quintillions of mana, so I used one that was around average price an power: a quadrillion mana. I forced all that healing potency into my knee. It hurt. I had long trained my brain to not respond to the pain receptors, as it could slow me down in combat. However, this time, it fought my brain.
"Stupid pain."
I steeled my resolve. This idiotic pain could not conquer me, a king. A king stands beyond pain. I would not succumb to anything.
I put another pulse of a quadrillion mana into my knee with that spell. And another. And another. In total, I put six. I ignored the pain. It was just pain. I would overcome it. A king could not fall to pain.
The pain tried to last forever. It was completely overcome within an hour.
Right when the pain went away, I got a call. There was a level 32 monster in a city called Johannesburg. Johannesburg was in the south of a continent called Africa. I was on the continent called North America, in my house. I gave a light kick to the ground on my roof. My ankles moved at slow speeds, at just the speed of light. It really wasn't that fast. They kicked off from the Arcanite top. I was flying southwest, at the speed of light.
I was there in the blink of an eye. I quickly noticed the extremely weak monster, that was the strongest in the area, and killed it with a mere tap. I then decided to make a quick announcement:
"Just to let you know, nuclear weapons can kill any monster below level 35 in one hit, and any non-defense focused level 40 within a hit or two. Don't call me to fight a monster before you hit it with a nuclear weapon. This is an order from your king."
My voice, as normal, was projected across the small planet, by my majestic strength.
I was mostly left alone by the commoners after that. The former leaders of former countries had all been carried by me to level 25, so that they could deal with whatever the commoners needed. If there was something really important, they could talk to me, their great king.
I only then noticed something. It was called RPG video games. There were a lot of simulations about the system in them, with all being inaccurate, but some were close. I wouldn't play those games. The real thing was better.
Those were games for commoners. There weren't royal games here. Once magic levels had increased, there would be royal games, which, I, as a fair and just king, unlike the emperor back on Kantala, would allow anyone who was powerful enough to join.
I noticed that people who had played RPG video games a lot leveled up faster. The 3rd highest level person in the world, behind only myself and the president of the US (the president was what the US, the biggest country, called its leader). The president of the US was level 40, carried by me, but under his own power, that person had reached level 36, partially due to luck, and partially due to knowledge.
Using a level 65 skill, that, when used on a level 0, cost 10,000,000,000,000,000 mana, and when used on a level 36, cost all my mana, I saw his background.
He had been a general in the army, and the best general in the world at that. He could come up with a perfect plan, then execute half of the plan on his own in a day.
Based on that, reaching level 36 wasn't too hard for him, especially since he got a lucky start that carried him to level 21.
I checked my newly updated skills list, to scout out weaknesses.

I was going to earn another transcendence. Then, my domain would be half complete, and then, it would actually provide more benefits than some damn insane ultimate attack. Timesight was simply too expensive to work on. It was just a waste of mana, and it wasn't like I could learn much from the people of earth, as the vast majority were idiots. The Fine, Endless Warhammer was my new skill. I could probably fix it soon. Magic Mastery, well, about that, I could probably finish it off in a few days if I tried.

I finished off Magic Mastery. There was no fanfare, but it was nice to know that the damn skill was out of the way.
The transcendence would be a different matter. To earn the capstone, I'd have to transcend again. It would suck. The one at level 58 had been about pure power. I had had to blow apart a level 55 planet within 10 seconds, and I was only allowed to use one skill once, and that was the transcendence. The second one was about mental power. You had to destroy a level 45 planet with your mind. Most people, besides mentalists, who were handicapped while doing this one, had to blow it apart with their mind, which was basically their truth, within 15 second. Mentalists, however, only had 5 seconds. It was generally diamond-plates who did that, and if I did it before diamond, I'd be considered damn powerful. The third one was about raw power. You had to alter the laws of physics on a planet, without changing the affinity, so that gravity didn't exist. The final one was classified, so only a few people outside of the imperial family knew, but it was a subject of gossip amongst late gold-sections and early diamond-sections. The general consensus was that it was ascending to godhood itself. Most middle-aged and older late gold-sections, and most diamond-sections in general, remembered the last time someone ascended to godhood.
The previous emperor was at the peak of level 99. The current emperor was level 94-the level where you can become emperor. I was a child, at level 3. I had just gone on a school trip to the Platform of Godhood. There, the connection with the heavens was strongest, and it was a spot where people were constantly going to transcend.
Much later, I had actually done my level 58 transcendence there. I had just felt it was the best spot.
I was rambling about how cool it was for days. I had actually witnessed a third transcendence up close. I had actually spoken to the level 86 transcending. It was one of the best experiences of my time in school. The level 86 was actually the one who pushed me down the path of the warhammer. Much later, when he was level 92, we met again, when I was level 67. We had become friends until I came to Earth.
My parents were rich. Well, not really that rich, but rich. For the level 15s that they were. They had roughly an amount worth fifteen million kilograms of gold. They spent a ton of money on tickets to see the ascension. I was just a kid, so I didn't understand what it meant, but now, when I look back, I'm really damn shocked. It was really, an extremely shocking thing.
