Everything within me changed. The white light, no, White Light, coursed through me. Into my hammer. I was one with my hammer, and the only goal was to kill the King.
Everything clicked.
I sprinted forward. I swung my hammer at the king. The king probably didn’t expect such a tactic, as his defenses were in a strategic position. The king crumpled to the floor. The king stabbed me with his sword, but it only met my warhammer. I raised my warhammer. And I brought it down on the king’s skull.
Right before contact, the White Light pulsed through the king. “The… Domain… Of… Great Royal Power!”
I teleported back, shocked. The King had reached Diamond-Section. The white lights clashed. The king was completely refreshed.
“Hey, you idiot? I am the Warhammer, and you are just the wood. I’ll kill you. You may be a king, but you only have five subjects. I have billions!”
I took the opportunity to try to smash the king.
“I am no sword fighter. I… Am… A Pugilist!”
The king’s bare fist blocked my Warhammer. The Warhammer began to speak. “I will kill you, enemy.”
My face changed to one of surprise. My hammer could speak.
I swung my hammer at the king. The fight turned into a crude fight, with me swinging my hammer at the king, which was blocked by the king’s fists, then the king returned a punch, which I blocked with my hammer. It was a perennial cycle.
After about two minutes of the fight going like that, I started channeling mana into a skill. Another minute later. I teleported back. My hammer turned giant. I knew I only had one shot. I swung. The center of my hammer, the sharp spot, hit the king. I toppled over. The hammer’s momentum broke the shield, and made the hammer hit the other five, killing them. Once the hammer had hit through enough of the crust for me to have to climb the walls for a few seconds before I got out. I saw six gory masses, and a notification.

I had gained four levels, and quite a few things had changed. Strength was now my highest attribute, like I wanted. My race had changed, and what was the Truth and Item Truebond? The stick in the hammer had melted into my hand. I wanted it to leave, and it just went into me. Not a spatial ring. Now, I could just summon and unsummon my hammer at will. These things were worrying, though. My resource pools, though, were full, because leveling up filled the resource pools to the maximum.
I wondered how those things were on a no-magic planet.
I only then remembered two lessons that I had previously thought to be useless, but were really useful. The first one was that no-magic planets had six gold-section guardian spirits, which would attack high-levels who caused a lot of carnage. Luckily, a planet could only ever have six. The second lesson was that to ascend to diamond-section, you had to not only gain a ton of exp, you also had to discover a Truth. They were usually a phrase, and saying the phrase caused the white light. It would change your race, and usually give a few powers. I knew a few things about this one. It made everything involving a warhammer that you did more powerful.
I summoned my hammer. I hit the ground, fell, hit the ground again, then fell again, and so on. Soon, I was at the core of the planet. It was somewhat hot. There was a bit of pressure too, but the diamond-section’s hits were way harder.
I slowly started channeling mana into the center. I started with a rate of a hundred mana per second, but I realized the planet could take more. I channeled my full regeneration into the planet. Increasing magic levels was quite fast at that speed. I knew it was also a domino effect, so that once I had gotten the entire planet to a certain level, which varied between planets, but was usually between three and seven, the planet would start generating its own mana. Within two minutes, the entire planet was level one, and there were some level two spots. I channeled for six more minutes. At that point, most of the planet was level 4, with some level 3 and level 5 spots. Of course, there was still a hotspot room I had set up in my house, which was level 70, but besides that, the world was low-mana enough that people could fight monsters, but the world would generate its own mana. I decided I wanted some strength, so I channeled my mana into one spot for a few seconds, creating a level 15 zone. Mana was also denser the closer you got to the core, because the generation divided layers evenly. The center of the planet was a level 30 zone. Most of the surface, however, was level 4. There was the level 70 spot, but that was an oddity. I channeled more mana. I waited roughly ten minutes. Most of the surface was level 8 or 9, with some level 10 and level 7 spots. I decided that was enough, and I went to my house.
I went to the level 70 lounge, and took off the magic support system. It was okay, now that I was on a magic planet. I had got a voice amplifier, and I made another speech.
“I have raised the world’s magic level to level 9. Most people at level 1 will need a party of seven to eight adults to survive. Most level 5s will need 2-3 adults, and most people at level 7 can survive on their own. To be comfortable in this environment, if you are on your own, you need to be at least level 10. Level 25 monster meat is worth its weight in gold, and level 9 monster meat is worth 1/256 as much as level 25 monster meat. Monster meat is accepted in taxes.
“If a monster over level 14 (in this case), or at least six levels above the planet’s level appears, contact a royal. There is a level requirement to be a royal, which is fifteen levels above the planet, meaning that currently, a royal must be at least level 24. If a monster is a higher section then the world, contact me. A section is 25 levels. Bronze section, the first section, is level 1-25, silver, the second section, is level 26-50, gold, the section I am in, is level 51-75. That's the highest section it should be possible to attain on Earth. It may be possible to attain higher sections off-world, but Earth will be barricaded from anyone who isn't trustworthy. From entering or leaving.
I decided to rest while deciding what to do next.
