Chapter 21

In essence world, all diamond-sections stood out like suns in the void. I reached into the other emperor's soul and started moving the essence in his pathways to me. I managed to set him to early level 75 before he found me.

But I had experience fighting in hellish heat.

A rouge was weak to fire. A rouge beneath my level would be easily killed by me if the fight was in fire.

I went back into the real world, where the king was in absolute agony.

I brought my hammer down as hard as humanly possible, and the king looked on the verge of death. I brought my hammer down for the last strike, and ended it.

I teleported out of the sun.

"Citizens of the Kalmana Empire, the Kalmana Empire is no more. It has been conquered by the Sasomac Empire. Your leader is dead. This entire Empire is within the Imperial Province.

"I will began assimilation now. Parts of the empire will become parts of other provinces, yet for now, it is within the Imperial Province."

I changed the Kalmana Empire flags to Sasomac Empire flags, and posted the same basic notices. I gave 1/28 of the land of the Kalmana empire to each other province, and kept the remaining 3/4.

I went back to the nobles. "In fifteen milenia, there will be a tournament. The ten winners will become nobles. You may be dethroned. Keep training."

I teleported back to the area that had been Kalmana. Scuffles were breaking out, with a resistance against the Sasomac empire, led by a level 73. I decided to show them what no doubt that idiot emperor of Holthar had shown the Holthar government resistance. Essence compression existed.

Right when I got there, I noticed a few level 45s from Kalmana attacking a level 35 government official who was getting everyone to worship me, their great Emperor.

I landed on the surface. I punched the first one in the stomach, the second oe in the leg, and the third one in the arm. Within a second, all three were dead.

"Thank you, my lord," the level 35 said.

I scouted where the resistance headquarters were, breaking up scuffles that had come up because of the regime change. It took me roughly three days.

This had taken some of my time. So I would make the resistance leader chop off his own head.

I found the base. I smashed it hard with my hammer. Spears flew at me.

Everything turned into a blur as I focused on just my technique. Nothing else mattered. I just broke the headquarters down, without letting a single weapon hit me.

Within a minute, I loomed over the resistance leader's body. "You have disrespected me, your great Emperor. You shall die by chopping off your own head!"

I snarled. I used that compulsion spell at maximum intensity. The idiot hesitantly pulled out his sword. He slowly beheaded himself. I was done with this resistance. The elf hadn't shown any sort of resistance to me taking over, so I went to Venus, after instructing the elf to take care of any scuffles.

I just killed fire elementals for the next few years. Once the decade for the nobles was done, I quickly checked their technique. It was still poor. Not idiotic, and maybe they could kill some Kalmana silver-sections now, but only weaker ones.

I ground again. Then checked their terrible technique. Rinse. Repeat.

In 110 years, their techniques were up to a normal standard.

The next step was to teach them to work together.

Since one noble was in each of those seven classes, I taught them how they could apply those formations as just a team of 7.

I took them out to fight a similar monster.

It was a level 76 fire elemental.

The tank was letting the shock troop, and the spy, who was a rogue that specialized in spying, attack quickly, then retreat, with the elemental focused on the tank's shield. The support was constantly repairing the shield.

The swordsman was cutting over the shield. The mage was multitasking, levitating the swordsman and shooting water at it. The archer was shooting arrows at it.

The rogue stopped attacking for a second. He yelled, "Great Emperor, may I please have some freezite?"

I threw some to the rogue. The rogue threw it at the elemental.

The elemental was dying, and they figured that one attack from all seven of them would kill it. So they attacked together, and gained the exp.

It had only been 115 years, and they went from complete idiots who couldn't even kill a proper silver-section to half-decent gold-sections.

A good peak gold-section would be able to kill the elemental easily, though. That was the level I wanted to get them to in 10 millenia. I knew that the elf would come first in the tournament unless something crazy happened, but I hoped that they'd improve enough to stay nobles.

At least my Empire would be half-decent after the tournament. Within a million years, I hoped we'd be able to fight Cancall.

I told the nobles all that they had a thousand years to reach level 73. I'd start training them to become powerful for their level, able to hold me off for a minute, which I hoped to accomplish before the end of the ten millennia.

In the meanwhile, I would kill those level 85 cannon fodder. IBy the end of the year, I was 2/5 of the way through level 76.

By the end of the allotted decade, I needed fourteen more exp to level up. All the injuries I had sustained were minor burns. I alloted 15 more minutes, as one noble was level 72 in a similar situation to me.

By the end of the fifteen minutes, I was level 77 and all nobles were level 73.

All the nobles said in unison, "Great Emperor, we have all reached level 73, as you wish. Congratulations on reaching level 77!"

"Yes. I have reached level 77, increasing my power, and increasing the Empire's power. I shall teach you enough so that you can at least not be instantly crushed by your great Emperor."

I was finally level 77. My essence compression was at the level of a level 78.

I started teaching them.

The first decade was about basics, like the history of the universe. After that decade, I gave them an hour and a half of sleep.

I trained them to be at the level of an average level 73 within a hundred years. Then, it was time to make them exceptional.
