I don’t care anymore! So that’s that, after the two dragons I created disappear, they suddenly jump right on us and immediately bombarded me with a lot of questions regarding what I did. I was stunned with their sudden appearance and can only stared at them stupefied.

Well, after I told them that I just discover it myself one day, the next morning obviously it’s a lie. As expected they were reluctant to believe it, but they just leave it at that.

So that’s what happened after that night. I really want to forget it, so spare me with the details.

Few days have passed since then. Here I am right now, in the court yard sitting meditatively on the ground, allowing the wind to blow against me. The two black katana was on my legs. Quietly attuning myself in the boundless vastness of nature while both my eyes were closed.

On that night when I used my magic, I realized that my mana is still not enough if I want to use that kind of large scale magic. So I decided to train more. I need to expand my mana pool if I want to easily use more big magic. Hahaha although I don’t think it’s really necessary for me to become much stronger this early, but it doesn’t hurt if I’ll train more, right! I once read in my previous life about becoming one with the world. so I thought, if I want to expand my mana pool, then I need to understand not  just my body’s mana pool but also the mana found outside my body. As if becoming one with the world, I need to feel and understand better my surrounding.

If my mana pool is not enough then I’ll just need to use the mana outside my body. Right? Hahaha I’m really a genius! If it’s like this then I have a massive reserve of mana, fufufu I’m a freaking genius! Now, I’ll just need to train to easily extract and use it.

I continued my new training regime. Although I don’t know if what I’m thinking is possible, it’s better to try it than regret it.

I tried to sense the surrounding. The gentle wind blew softly against my hair as I sat quietly in the meditative posture on the ground, with my eyes shut. I can slightly sense that my mind and body had become one with the earth and one with the wind.

I could sense the warmth and roughness of the earth.

“Swish…”

I could sense the changes in the speed of the wind. In the upper atmosphere, the wind was very strong and their circling around, unlike the wind in the ground, it was much weaker. Even though slightly small but I could clearly sense all the changes of the wind.

For me, this was a very emotional event that made my heart tremble. If I can sense it then it means I succeeded.

“Lyle-sama” Sasha ran over.

“What is it, Sasha?” I slowly open my eyes, and face her with a smile coming unbidden in my face. When I had been in tune with the earth, I had already sensed Sasha walking towards me. “Is it time already?”

“Yes Lyle-sama!” she seems to be quite excited. Although I can understand why, it’s because today is my birthday! Phew time flies really fast; today I’ll be a six year old. I’m also really excited, oh not because it’s my birthday but today I will be getting my status plate.

“Arrrrrrrrgh!!!” I crouched back down and cover my eyes with both of my hands. Immediately, Sasha quickly ran towards me.

“Lyle-sama? Wha---“ Sasha held my head and ask but as soon as she saw my eyes she was surprised. “Lyle-sama, y-your eyes”

I was startled. My eyes? What happened to my eyes? I wanted to ask her but when I look around I noticed something.

Blue, red, brown, yellow and many other colored specks of light were floating around. They are clustered so densely, thousands, no, hundreds of thousands. A hundred specks of light with different color were floating around us.

“What the hell are these lights?” I shouted.

“Lyle-sama? What lights? Moreover, your eyes! What happened to your eyes!?” Sasha was quite worried!

‘She can’t see these lights? What the hell is this? No, I need to calm down’ while I was pondering what to do, I didn’t notice that the pain in my eyes disappeared. ‘Wait, my eyes?’

“What about my eyes?” I calmly ask her. She stared at my eyes for a few second and slowly describes it. She said my eyes which were ordinarily black was now dyed blood red and worst of all there was an inverted star pattern in it. After I heard her, my eyes widened.

“What? Really?” I couldn’t believe it. Why? If what she said was true then my eyes which resembles from somewhere has something....

I was inwardly happy, but I stop thinking about it when I noticed something. Inside the forest not far from me, the colored specks of light which was more condensed than the others was hovering at the big chunk of rock. I stood up and approached it.

“Lyle-sama? Where are you going?” wondering about my sudden course of action, Sasha slowly followed me.

What I saw was a huge rock; Just a rock nothing else. I look at the colored specks of light which formed like a river flowing in and out from it. Then I noticed a thin needle protruding from the rock. The river-like specks of light was coming from it. I traced my finger on it until I felt I was cut, I immediately retracted my hand. A single drop of blood fell onto the needle-like thing and was quickly absorbed.

A light appeared from the rock. I immediately step back and took a stance. Sasha in my back although was surprised but upon seeing my wary gaze she also prepared to chant her magic.

The rock split and within it suddenly a 1 meter oval rock appeared. No, it’s not a rock, it’s an EGG!?
