31: Vengeful Wraith; Enrolling in the Academy

No one could have expected that the future held far darker consequences for the entire Galaxy. The Jedi--famous throughout galactic history--with their ability to form a symbiotic relationship with the Force itself could have expected the looming danger, but there was always going to be those who elected to stay hidden from the sights of the Jedi.

One such beings that are famous for this feat are the Ones who reside on the planet Mortis.

As for Erebus himself? Well, the plans he had in mind during the time of the canon era absolutely required him to discover ways to hide from both the sights of Jedi and Sith alike. He would not risk having Palpatine learn of his existence nor derail his plans for the Clone Wars since Erebus wished to team up with the Ghost crew during the time of the Galactic Empire.

It was not too difficult for Arch to set up a computer with games loaded up that he could play on his time off from both cultivating and meditating on the Force through Kreia's teachings. Oddly enough, even though she had mentioned that her purview of the Force might be outdated and not suitable to truly learning the ways of both Jedi and Sith, it did provide a suitable foundation that had yet undiscovered potential in the future.

After leaving the Wizarding World, it would take roughly a couple of weeks to travel back into the Galaxy at a suitable time period so that he could attend the Academy on Korriban without causing trouble. He even had the computer set up with his old account information for the games he used to play back on Terra--like Star Wars: The Old Republic.

This enabled him to replay the games he used to play back home and get a refresher on the various stories he had already played through in each of the eight classes.

As for Kreia, she got interested in the media surrounding the Wizarding World and requested to watch the eight movies in the theatre after reading the books. This let her get a decent idea of what was soon to come in Erebus' adventures since her Force abilities were not quite good outside of the Galaxy itself.

It was also during the travel through the Void itself to return to Korriban that Erebus came up with the name for his Voidship: the Vengeful Wraith.

Meanwhile...

Vowrawn had been feeling uneasy lately. He had come to learn that Darth Baras had acquired a new student on Korriban and begun teaching him the ways of the dark side--showing an incredible apitude for it as if born to be Sith.

The male Sith could tell that his sense of unease was due to something through the Force itself, but he could not pinpoint where this profound (and growing) sense of unease was originating from. It was like whatever was causing this sensation was cloaked beyond even his sight in the Force, yet this feeling served a dual purpose.

Both to unhinge him and fuel his dark desires.

When he accepted the most random task in the history of the Empire that required him to go to Korriban and upon setting foot onto the red sands of the planet, Vowrawn felt it once again. It was a powerful disturbance in the Force as if it only affected a select few.

Unbeknownst to him, the Force had guided him to the Academy in preparation for Erebus' arrival. Neither Baras, Zash, or even Marr himself could sense the Force itself at work on the planet--save for a few of the lingering Force Ghosts within the ancient tombs.

When Erebus first learned the Unforgivable Curses back in Hogwarts, he had planned to use them as much as he could within reason. He knew that the power of the Curses were relative to a person's intention and ability, so Erebus had already marked a few entities with the concept of killing them using Avada Kedavra.

He planned to use the Killing Curse on Sheev Palpatine, Vitiate, Thanos, Ego, and a few others when their guards were down. Some of these enemies--he knew--were not going to be so easy to take out using the Unforgivables, yet that is possibly why the System was intending for him to have him go through both Jedi and Sith academies during the time of the Old Republic.

Erebus also had queued up a few Marvel movies and series like Agents of SHIELD, the first Avengers movie, Doctor Strange, and a few others in the theatre. This drew the attention of Kreia as well since she seemed to draw interest in things that were outside of the Galaxy.

He also knew that--in terms of skill level--he was no better than a Youngling or Sith Acolyte in using the Force. Kreia had only taught him the basics and laying the foundation for his future paths as both Jedi and Sith, yet Erebus knew there will come darker days that not even his current skills could suitably save him from unless he made drastic changes in his coursework.

The narrative has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the infringement.

This gave Erebus greater motivation to continue his cultivation as they travelled back into the Galaxy. Sadly, the System still locked his progress in terms of experience rewards and Qi since it detected his current growth to be too powerful for the current place he was currently in. He knew that it would only unlock once he arrived on Korriban though.

On Korriban... In the Sith Academy...

Overseer Tremel had been waiting on the platform for his new arrival--the future Emperor's Wrath who had been regressed--when he had spotted the oncoming shuttle. He had learned that the shuttle had arrived far ahead of schedule (just like he planned) since he wanted to make sure Vemrin was justifiably murdered before he could become Darth Baras' apprentice, but he remained very ignorant that his expedited acolyte had regressed decades into the past and knew the future events which would take place.

Not that the Wrath cared in the slightest. His pureblood Sith lineage had already proven himself attuned to the Dark Side greatly, but in the current era, Vemrin was merely worth less than a footnote in his grand history.

The only thing that made the Emperor's Wrath move his cold indifferent heart was the fact that he'd be able to relive killing Darth Baras once again in front of the Dark Council when the time was right.

Harkun hated this part of his job. He collected the riffraff that other Dark Lords didn't desire --the former slaves of the Empire--and had to train them in the ways of the Sith while weeding them all out.

This is where our (future) Darth Nox entered into the fray. He had fully completed the first task of his System (which was to learn the ways of the Sith from Spindrall) and returned to Harkun's office--just in time to find out his next task that the bastard Overseer assigned him in the vain hopes of killing him.

Harkun killed Kory right in front of him--just like he expected--as the Overseer tasked him to go speak to Zyn in the jails to interrogate another Acolyte for "unauthorized murder" in the Academy. Nox wondered just how badly the bastard hated his job, but he knew he'd have his chance soon enough to kill him once he becomes Zash's apprentice and kill Ffon in his face.

Upon getting sufficient distance from Harkun and going to the jails for Zyn, the System sent out a soft warning.

》Warning! A powerful Remnant Soul is arriving in the current area!《

Erebus chose to directly Apparate into the Academy--bypassing the expectant Overseers and guards--so that he can seamlessly integrate himself into the fellow Acolytes. From what he remembered of the game, the less busier area in the Academy was on the ground floor and out of the area where students traversed. He selected that for his arrival point.

As soon as he did that, he immediately used his Cloak of Shadows skill to hide his presence from the ever-observant Dark Lords of the Sith and slightly dull potential Apprentices. He decided to try seeing who is the current Inquisitor in this timeline and Erebus could only guess that this was the time period where they were tasked to "interrogate" another Acolyte to find out the murderer.

Sadly, even during his time at Hogwarts and dealing with the mystery behind Ancient Magic, Erebus hadn't even upgraded his Cloak of Shadows skill past level 9 at 99%. This meant that aside from Darths and powerful members of the Dark Council, he was virtually unseen.

It made him annoyed that he hadn't gotten past that particular skill barrier, but the annoyance was not worth doing much else. With that in mind, he made his way into the jails to find both Zyn and the current Inquisitor...

...Unaware that a certain Darth had sensed his arrival and was eagerly watching his progress.
