Mortis didn't have to do too much else after helping stoke Damian's will to live with his [Restorative Embrace] skill. The reason being Damian himself was connecting to the Force itself and his System was initiating a tutorial to help him get used to his new powers.
'This is where and when his foundations begin,' Mortis thought to himself as Damian's System hijacked the vessel forging process from him-with his permission of course-and began to finalize his race. He wasn't going to be a pure-blooded Sith or something only found in this Galaxy since Damian wasn't meant to stick around here forever.
The Galaxy was only ever meant to be a "home base" for him to come back to while traversing the Variant Timelines.
No, what he was becoming was an Outworlder variant of a [Human]. Something that will shake the very foundations of the Variant Timelines.

<~(Within the Tutorial Aperture...)~>
It was like Damian's vision blacked out once more while he was in Mortis' embrace, but he understood that this felt different than dying once again. As far as he knew, he still drew breath and could feel a weak yet still growing connection to the Force itself. It was a fanboy's dream to be a Jedi or a Sith and much like all Star Wars fans out there, he was gushing with excitement.
{Welcome to the Tutorial, young Damian,} the familiar mechanized voice called out from within the dark void-breaking Damian out of his fanboy mood. {Before we begin, you have been granted a Name Change by Mortis. If you so desire, you can change your name at any point during the Tutorial.}
'A name change? Does that mean I can have my username from my PlayStation?' Damian thought to himself-unaware that his new System can hear his thoughts clearly.
{You cannot have improper names like most people put into their usernames on gaming accounts. This isn't some weird story where you can have any type of name entered and it would make sense,} the System replied in its mechanized AI voice. {You wouldn't want to have someone keep on calling you xX_Pu$$_Xx or something ridiculous like that in real life, no?}
The response alone was enough to shock Damian at how it could understand his most private thoughts, but luckily for both parties involved, the shock did not last too much longer than a few seconds. It also didn't take Damian too much longer to realize that the voice was right. It would be rather ridiculous outside of games for someone to be called like that.
Before Damian could say anything else on that matter, the System continued by showing him his [Status] screen.

{This is your current [Status],} the System began. {You are an Outworlder, which is what a remnant soul like you is in essence. This means you are naturally resistant to certain [Laws] which governs the world/universe/dimension you currently reside in. Since you died at the age of maturity for Terrans, you have been locked in at eighteen years old with some small option to age until you reach the prime age of 25. Due to being a remnant soul, you have the ability to respawn infinitely-thus cheat death.}
The revelation that Damian could actually cheat death and have a version of immortality was already enough for him to give the middle finger to all of those posers like Voldemort who use Horcruxes to be immortal. He didn't even know if he was in the time period where Palpatine lived yet, but that made him consider jumping extremely far back in time before the Clone Wars happened so that he had time to mature.
Maybe he could study under Satele Shan and the Dark Council back during the time period where the Old Republic existed?
Unbeknownst to him, the System kept this little thought in mind for later.
{Moving on,} the System continued. {You have the standard points allocated in all of your stats. Vitality is the skill which governs how much damage you can take before you die. Every point allocated into this stat equals ten health added to your maximum health pool. Unfortunately, due to being a remnant soul, this stat will not increase your lifespan as you are already immortal in a sense.}
{Strength is one of your most important skills. This governs over your ability to carry weight in your [Inventory] and how much damage you can do in a single strike. For each point added into this skill, you can carry up to an additional ten pounds in your [Inventory] and increase Melee Damage by ten.}
{Agility is the skill which governs your movement speed, dexterity, and maneuverability. Each point allocated here increases your flexibility by ten.}
{Charisma is the skill which allows you to appeal more to the people around you. This is not limited to gender, sexual orientation, etc.}
{Perception enables you to see or discern things not easily seen...}
{Intelligence governs the total mana you can have and mental processing power...}
{Wisdom governs your critical decision making skills and mana regeneration...}
Despite paying close attention to the System explaining about his new skills and abilities, he could feel his awareness slipping. Damian could feel from somewhere deep in his soul that if he fell asleep now, it would be extremely difficult to wake up later on which could impact his foundations later.
He was beginning to fight back against his drowsiness while listening to the rest of the Tutorial. He didn't know what would happen to him at all, but over time, the fight was changing into his favor.
'No matter how far I have to go or how many people I have to topple over, I will not be stopped...' Damian thought to himself as he could feel that dark corrosive energy which is symbolic of the Dark Side seep into his body-forever marking his immortal soul with the determination to wreck havoc unto his enemies.
'Darkness unto Light shall be who I am,' he thought to himself as he no longer acknowledged his identity as "Damian Taylor." That name belonged to a dead boy back on a world where people suffered, but that didn't mean he abandoned his origins. Even he knew that if one chose to forsake his origins, there would be no true balance within himself. 'I remember myself as Damian Taylor, the boy who died on Terra, but that will not be who I shall become. I believed in those selfless heroes who stood up for their morals against their oppressors, but I know not all people are good.'
Both the Dark Side and the Light warred deep within his soul-vying for dominance-until they felt something much more powerful than either of them emerge from their conflict. Even with his new vessel designed to withstand the onslaught of both the Dark and Light sides of the Force alongside its bloodline adaptabilities, the boy had no idea of this mysterious third entity sparking to life.
'I shall be known as the One Who Moves in Shadow,' he thought to himself as the fatigue was losing against his revitalizing remnant soul. 'I will be called Erebus Axus...'
*BAAAAANNNNNNGGGGGG*
{Renaming complete,} the System's mechanized voice echoed out as if it had been paying attention. {Your former name of "Damian Taylor" has been placed as your Origin Name and cannot be affected by any form of spell or ritual nor forgotten. Your new name "Erebus Axus" has been placed as your Preferred Name. Your True Name shall be henceforth known as "One Who Moves in Shadow" and shall show up on your [Profile].}

Deep within the Wellspring of Life far away from Naboo, the Force Priestesses could sense a deep convergence in the Force. They didn't know any more about this mysterious occurrence...

[Protocol Zero engaged. Returning to the Dark Council on Korriban...]
The holocron that had been in the Jedi Temple on Coruscant travelled back through time over four thousand years to the time of the Old Republic and arrived in the Dark Council's chambers. Not all of the council members knew what to make of the strange holocron which somehow phased into reality, save two. Darth Marr and Darth Vowrawn looked at the holocron and then each other with their silent conversation detailing their acknowledgement of what was going on.
It had not only been the Jedi of the bygone era who received the visions of what was to come. Both of the darths had received the same vision, but they knew they could not speak a word of what they saw to the others. Not even to Zash who would have obviously done something to this figure from another dimension.
As they nodded to each other in understanding of their task ahead, the holocron began to open. A subtle fluctuation in the Force wrapped around the Dark Council chambers-sealing them in a strong privacy barrier-as the object opened and a hologram appeared.
The hologram's figure was a man whose eyes burned in emerald green amidst a black starless sea-someone who did not come from the Galaxy.
He smiled at Darth Marr and Vowrawn as he spoke in their native tongues fluently...
"Greetings to the Dark Council on Korriban. You do not know me, but I know a lot about you. If you are hearing this message, then it means my little holocron has travelled back in time from the future and my acquaintance will soon be arriving. Do not bother to examine this holocron through the Force or disassembling it for you will find out why in a few moments. I won't disrupt the natural flow of time more than I already have by telling you all what will happen in the time to come, but I want you all to know this..."
The hologram then shifted to show a map of the Galaxy to the Dark Council, but it seemed wrong. Their confusion quickly ended as the figure stated this was a map of the Galaxy in a little over four thousand years later.
"Two among you know about what will soon come through the Force which I allowed to be seen. I shall not mention their names, but I will give you a name and place to look for in the coming months. You shall find Erebus Axus on the world of Dromund Kaas within the next seven months. Decide amongst yourselves who shall teach him the ways of the Dark Side."
The message ended and the holocron disintegrated before the council members could recover from the shock.

A thousand years before Harry Potter was born and in a lonely tower within the Hogwarts castle, a book suddenly opened and a quill wrote in a name on a page far from the first. The quill wrote-in an ancient script older than Hogwarts itself-the name of "Erebus Axus" and cemented his arrival three years before Harry Potter joined. No one knew how or why this was written, but it would be centuries before anyone discovered this...
