Class Paths

Referring back to chapter 14 it was said:
"Know that you won’t be able to change your class or add a new class or subclass until a predetermined time after hatching"
For those of you who may not know, class advancement is different from a sub class.
For certain kinds of monster rank job and class can all be the same thing but in this situation they are all different things, things that have an affect on each other but different none the less.
Anyway...
So, after choosing the Empath class at first I didn’t really notice any differences. Actually to be fully truthful I think any differences would have to be really major for me to be able to notice them, in some ways I am not the best at being aware.
Besides in my current state any changes that took place, would be taking place in my mind and soul, places that are hard to ‘see’ even if I could actually see the mental plane it doesn’t’ mean I can clearly see myself.
However after quite a while passed, I noticed a few conveniences I hadn’t had before. One of them was as I expected, it became slightly easier to control my emotions and I even got the status updates to prove it such as:
Skill [Emotional Control] has increased
Actually to my surprise it wasn’t just my empath related skills that increased in leveling speed but even those that did not seem directly affiliated.
It’s a fact, that when skills level up, they then contribute to the experience increase of your overall level as well. So even though I was of a very high ranked silver color and thus my leveling speed should have been abysmally slowed, my level as an egg, instead increased many fold then it had ever been before. I ended quickly climbing up into the thousands.
It seems that coincidentally that my current existence, of living in the mental plane, while not conductive for practice, for most skills and classes, was absolutely perfect in the purpose of nurturing the empath class.
So it wasn’t really a surprise that right around the time that my siblings were about to hatch that a new possibility opened up.

I was really lucky that Lady Prudence decided to take a liking to me, for with my unlocked, high clearance status access I was easily able to see the available details of my possible paths. I briefly held a moment of silence in thanksgiving. (++faith) and also took the opportunity to express my unheard condolences to those poor sucker- er I mean souls who unlike myself had only the names of the possible class options to rely on when choosing their next step.
(those who didn’t even have a choice in their class advancement were too painful to even think about)
[Perception Empath]:
Sensitive type Empaths more commonly known as Perception Empaths are among the most intuitive and insightful classes. Learning new things can be easy for a Perception as they don’t have to directly learn things in order to know them thanks to the quickly gained skill of [Intuition]. This is helpful as most Perceptions are often so distracted by what they are able to sense that they tend to have memory problems.
If Perceptions are not consciously choosing to stand out then they tend to seem nearly invisible or are at least hard to notice. This is because they can so open themselves to their environment that they can blend in and thus can learn skills from silent classes such as thieves and rouges.
Perceptions tend to be best out of all of the empaths in sensing the emotions and reactions of others. A skilled Perception Empath can often be mistaken for the more commonly known mind mage, as this class often develops the ability to mind read. Perceptions are actually usually more skilled then most mind mages in reading people and skills such as [Truth Seeker] and [Secret Finder] are part of the reason why. Even those with high resistance and defense against mental and emotional skills usually can’t keep a secret from a skilled Perceptive Empath for long.
Perception Empaths are not just perceptive about the present but also about the past and future as well. Their commonly gained skill [Insight] allows them to sense into the future enabling them to dodge attacks before they are completed and exploit weaknesses before they are protected. They also are often able to develop the talent [Psychometry] a skill which helps them feel out the past and sometimes future of any object or person they touch.
Perceptions can also develop their future sensing ability enough that they can learn some of the same skills as Seers Fortune-Tellers and Soothsayers. Like [Foresight] and [Mythic Eyes].
Perceptions are very sensitive in various ways and tend to develop an enhanced ability to feel touch, identify smells, taste flavor, see in detail, sense magic and experience pain. However Perceptive can turn this disadvantage into an advantage with such skills as [Sacrifice] which converts any pain experienced into power and [Whetstone Mind] a trait that improves concentration and mind clarity when pained.
A major weakness of the Perceptive AKA Sensitive Empath class is that they often develop a huge side effects. One of the more common ones includes an utter reluctance to hurt or cause pain to others, and sometimes this reaction can be disabling enough that they can’t wound others let alone kill them. They also tend to be more emotional, as well as mentally unstable. It is known that some SE suffer from oversensitivity and have to wear specially made gloves, glasses and or other custom clothing to protect themselves from outside energies or risk shock, fainting, insanity or even death.

[Projective Empath]:
The Projective Empath is good at making other people relate to them, by force if necessary. The projector has great control over what they feel, which is a good thing because they project what they are currently feeling onto other people.
Projective Empaths are good at giving various emotional buffs including ones with healing effects enabling them to be considered a healing type class. Projectives are also considered under the damage dealing class category as they can make their opponents emotions get out of control, leading them to pain and insanity.
One of the first and most terrifying skills a Projective Empath gains is [Shared Fate]. When activated all damage and pain received before and after the skill is used is shared with all targets and or nearby enemies. This skill can also help with healing as it can essentially ‘cheat death’ by halting the decline of the target if the user is healthier.
Projective Empaths also tend to be very charismatic and usually make loyalty inspiring leaders. Even those with high fighting spirit will probably feel awe when a Projective uses [Intimidation] or [Aura of Dominance]. The commonly gained Projective skill [Influence] can allow them to manipulate others if they are skillful, sometimes to the point of making them their slaves and or puppets. Projectives skilled in manipulation can also eventually learn some of the same skills, as such classes as; Illusionist, Puppet Master or Trick Magician.
Those who choose Projective Empathy run a risk of psychopathy, that is they may start to lose their ability to empathize as they force others to empathize with them. This potential disability may even develop to the point that they will no longer feel remorse or guilt, making their behavior less inhibited and leading to an increased risk of them preforming what they once considered immoral behavior.
[Energy Vampire]:
One of the only ways to become a vampire without being born one or having to go through a ‘change’ or binding ritual, Energy Vampires are usually considered a very uncommonly chosen class outside of the various vampieric races and are thus rarely seen. Most cultures (besides vampires) tend to see this class with fear and distain, as it tends to hold a negative reputation similar or worse than necromancers, and death mages. Despite that, Energy Vampires are often acknowledge to be the Empath class with the most practical utility in battle.
Energy Vampires rely mainly on de-buffs and Status Point drains in order to fight. E-Vamps, are quite good at slowly weakening their opponents then going for the kill when they are at their lowest. Assassination skills are often complimentary to this class, as E-Vamps are capable of tracking targets by their “emotional scent” and are able to find their prey no matter how or where they choose to hide.
They also possess corrupting auras which means that their very presence can unsettle even wound their enemies increasing the effect of their surprise attacks and their ability to “latch on” during a status drain. Classes that gain power through anger and other emotions like the Berserker tend to be at an utter disadvantage when facing an E-Vamp as they can take away what makes the opponent strong and use it for themselves.
Skills such as [Mental Leach] and [Emotional Drain] can be used not only for compulsion and attacks but also for a healing effect as well. If classes outside the Berserker run wild or fall into confusion due to side effects from a skill or illusion, an E-Vamp can easily ‘calm’ them down or remove the illusion. [Curse Eater] allows E-Vamps to remove buffs and de-buffs and empower themselves from it. Making E-Vamps either your best ally or worst enemy.
Energy Vampires often develop sadistic personality traits for obvious reasons. They come to love the pain of others and in their attempts to engender such pain, they may end up becoming excessively violent and aggressive. E-Vamps like P-Empaths also tend to suffer low impulse control.
A rare but somewhat positive side effect of E-vamps is that they cannot be ‘made’ a true vampire without their consent and if they do choose to artificially become of that race they will show very high adaptability and increased compatibility compared to others.
[Balancer]:
Is a hidden path. Not much is known about it other than it is supposedly a mixture of all the other Empath paths and hidden and regular Empath related classes and paths combined, and that similarly to it's name it involves ‘maintaining ‘balance’ .
