It was a beautiful morning. The sun was shining while the birds chirped in their respective trees. Waking up, Videl realised that Johan was nowhere to be seen. Hurrying up she went to the kitchen to prepare breakfast.
“Good morning, Videl.”
In front of her Rachel and some other girls were already carrying trays with food and juice jugs.
‘Ah, right. We have new employees. But how is Johan doing? He collapsed yesterday. I should look for him.’
“Have you seen Johan?”
“Hmm, ‘Johan’? I didn’t know you guys were this close. Well, anyway, he was here a moment ago. Maybe he’s in the living room.”
“I see. Make sure to bring some tea as well. Also we’re not that close but he did tell me to call him by his first name.”
She left the room while blushing.
…
“There you are Videl. I was waiting for you. How’re your injuries doing?”
“I feel a lot better now. My body feels so light as if I was a baby. Thanks for helping me.”
A tear rolled down her face.
“Well, of course. We had an agreement didn’t we?”
He went ahead and removed her tear once again.
“Ah… right.”
“Then let’s do it. Sit over there. It’ll be quick.”
She sat down and looked at him with a light smile. Slowly she started to like him. The past was the past and whatever happened then didn’t need to be true in the present.
Johan pulled out a little needle and sat next to her.
“Videl. I’m glad you’re doing better now. But work has to be finished and you’re a part of it. You will be in charge of the entire house. I want to make a strong army of people. Don’t worry about the specifics, just make sure you do your part. All of the girls will be under your command. Rachel will be directly under you until I have found more people who will then be in your group.
To sum it up from now on I will be teaching you how to fight and utilise your powers. Since your injuries are healing you will get your powers back very shortly from now on. I’ll help you get them to work.”
She looked at him from the side. She almost couldn’t believe what she heard.
‘I will train with him? Wait… I thought I’ll be staying this weak forever.’
While Johan was telling her about what she had to do in the future, he secretly stung her with the needle and collected a drop of her blood. Since she was shocked about the fact that her powers are back and she could train again, she didn’t notice it. He also healed her with Light so it wouldn’t leave a scar.
“I understand. Thanks again.”
“Well, then let’s go Videl. A lot has to be done.”
“Yes, Lord Johan.”
…
“Ahahahahhahahaha”
“I can’t believe this retard. How unlucky can someone be.”
A young guy a in a tuxedo was laughing his as off. Tears were rolling down his eyes.

"Yeah, look at this fool getting his ass handed to him twice.", one of his lackies said.
"Well, he have seen it coming, huh. Tell Troy to keep him in a chokehold. Make him his little b#tch. I want to get rid of him for good. Don't let him get stronger whatsoever."
"As you say boss. But if you don't mind me asking, why are you so adamant of keeping him in check? It's not like he is going to get in our way."
"Don't worry about it too much. It's personal."
"I see.", the lackey responded as he left.
'This will be a lot easier than I thought. On the other hand he is just a side piece anyways. I need to get to him as soon as possible. The position as the grandson is in my way to the top. If I want to be the next in line for the patriarch role, then I have to pave my way through.'
Mike von Parseval was sitting on the roof of Kirschbaum Colleges gym facility. He was smoking a cigarette while thinking about his next moves. He was the son of Hermes von Parseval. One of the highest ranking members of the main families. Also the one who was most likely to become patriarch after Mattheus von Parseval. The father of Johan von Parseval. His next target. Trimur was just a little ant in his way but Johan was going to be more difficult to take down. His connection directly to the patriarch was concerning.
During his ceremony he got a C Rank and gained a lot of praise from his father and the patriarch. But he knew that that was not enough to gain that position. That's why he went to Kirschbaum so he could in peace pursue his plans. If he went to Euros Academy he would have to compete with Johan and fight for influence. Here he already was the number among the newcomers. Because his father gave classes here he also had connections to upperclassman like the guy who lived with Trimur. These things just made his positions a lot better.
"Mike, let's go. Class is about to start."
...
Trimur was in a dog position while his roommate had his feet on his back.
"Good. That's perfect. Now I can rest peacefully."
"Nghh. Ple-ase sto-p."
"Uff, just shut up bro. What's wrong with you. First you scream at me then you get beat up and afterwards your not willing to take the punishment? You sound like a girl. Man up."
He was barely holding his legs. The reason wasn't that his legs were extremely heavy but that he was putting in a lot of pressure on Trimur on purpose.
"I'm sorry. So pl-ease stop."
"Hmm. I hear you. That's good that you're sorry. You should be.", he said looking down on him, "Not only that but you should apologize properly. Stand up."
He removed his legs. Trimur tried to stand up but failed at the first try.
"Uff!"
He tried again and succeeded this time.
"Apologize."
Trimur slowly raised his head. His face was covered in bruises. Tears and snot were also smeared on it.
"I, I apologise for misbehaving."
"Good. Very good. Great first try. I like that. You learn quickly. The only problem is that I get compensated more by the other side." He grinned.
"Compen-"
Pow!
Slap!
Trimur landed in the corner of the room.
"Ceughh!"
"Get ready for eternal hell. Shouldn't have messed with the boss."
...
"Who was that? Why did you go after him?"
A girl with white hair and a pouty expression asked the blonde girl. She couldn't believe that her best friend would jump off and go after a stranger like that.
"Don't worry. I know him.", bl0ondie said nonchalantly.
She walked past her without giving her a look.
"Wait! What do you mean you know him? Hey, don't just walk past me like that. I'm talking to you."
"Mhm, whatever. Make me some food."
The girl was fuming.
"What do you mean 'make me food'!?"
"Do as I say", she curled around, "or else I'll make you do it. Hihihihihi."
Goosebumps shivered down her back.
"I... will. Don't say it me like that! You're living at my place."
"Yeah, yeah, whatever."
It was Hannah von Parseval. Johan's oldest sister. He didn't know about her though. She was somebody who was kept a secret. Almost nobody knew about her existence. She currently had occupied the princesses hideout. She was an albino from a hunter tribe. She was almost got annihilated by a monster but Hannah rescued her and since then she's indebted. Well, she also feared her.
Hannah was very nervous. She had lost her brother to Mdrassi, a guy nobody should get involved with. She couldn't help him in time back then and that creeped up to her all the time.
'I'm not gonna let anything happen to Johan.'
A small dagger appeared in her hand. With a swing it flew through the cave and pierced through a bear-like creatures heart.
"Gotcha!"
"You're really crazy."
"I know", Hannah patted the princesses head.
...
"Huff, huff these little goblins sure are taking up a lot of stamina. It's been a while I've had to fight some."
Thimauess von Parseval was hunting goblins in the forest. He was already half through the gate. The item he was looking for was almost at the end where a little sideway had an optional boss which would usually drop a stone with an smooth interior. There was a liquid in there which removed any kind of poison. Especially strong poisons like the one in his body.
"Damn these punks!"
Normally he would cut through the goblins with his sword like it was nothing. His self now had to fight with them using up a lot of energy. Times were not easy.
"Whatever! I'm the patriarch of the von Parseval family. Who dares to go up against me!"
The A Rank gate would usually require over thirty Rankers to clear but for him it was something like a little adventure.
