The six friends kept staring at the monster who stood frozen in place. "Astra, use your analysis skill, will you?" Astra's analysis helps her identify non-living items.
Zombie Overload
???
"It failed. My analysis only showed its name." Astra said worriedly. The normal situation for an analysis to fail would be that the analysed has a higher tier than the user. The other reason was that the thing analysed had life. A living zombie was something that they had never heard of. Another notification went of waking the party from the stumper.
Your party has five minutes to kill the zombie overlord.
"Think we can kill it?" Astra asked Sam. "It should be possible. It wouldn't make sense to spawn something too powerful considering our level." Sam was calculating in his head. 'If it is of similar levels to us then it should have a life force. But considering the place, a living zombie should be even stronger than an advanced boss. It shouldn't be possible to kill it directly. Looks like all we can do is try.'
"Guys, it should be a level 10 advanced boss or higher. We should try and keep ourselves alive for the next five minutes. I don't think we would be able to kill it." Sam said, giving out his orders. The six walked out of the school towards the boss that was still waiting for them to approach.
"So, you have decided to attack me?" The zombie asked, seeing the party approach. "Usually, I prefer to kill first and then play around with the corpse but today…" The Overlord suddenly took out a longsword jumping towards the party. "... I intend to play with you before I kill you." It swiped its sword vertically attempting to split Dona into two.
Cling
The swords hit each other and a deep cut appeared on Dona's sword. The might of the blow made her hands tremble, her hair creeping to attention. Dona instantly lost half her health letting everyone know the severity of the attack. Even a critical hit from the great bear could only take out half the health from Sam, yet Dona, a tank boosting such high health, lost half her health from a parried attack.
Healing Hand
A timely heal helped her recover five health points making it not as suffocating as it had been before. "Everyone, be careful, we just need five minutes." Screamed Jim sending a volley of arrows at the zombie. "Sure, but how?" Shouted Sam back.

Everyone knew it was going to be a one-sided slaughter. Sam kept blasting the zombie with flame balls but the spell itself was too weak to be of any concern to the zombie overlord.
"Such weaklings and you lot dared to kill my minions? Those who dared to touch my kids deserve death. Stop resisting and it would be painful." With another full horizontal swing, the longsword fell on Dona's neck, instantly killing her before anyone could react.
Justin took over trying to buy time, yet she too met the same end under the blade of their enemy. 'This is pointless, we are too weak.' Sam kept trying to find a way but none opened ahead. 'How did they kill it last time?'
Before he could finish his thoughts the zombie overlord started a chant in an unknown language. "What the hell? It knows chant magic?" Shouted Jim losing the last bit of hope he had.
A huge spire of darkness rose around them engulfing the area and the remaining ones felt they were being suffocated. A notification came out letting them know the result of their battle.

The system pulled them out. The rest were already cursing to a loss of 24 hours game time when Sam stepped out.
"It shouldn't be a problem. Either way, we have to go see our new masters soon. Everyone feels alright?" Sam was worried about Dona who just experienced decapitation. "I'll be fine. The death was quick. I didn't feel much." Her hand kept moving towards her neck involuntarily. "We still have to go to the infirmary. It was our first real death experience." Maya said, trying to stand up. "Sure, we will go together."
"Did everyone meet their new masters yet?" Sam asked as he walked out first. "No, Maya's master has yet to come. She is still waiting." Astra already left to meet her master after a quick check at the infirmary.
"My master plans on dragging me alone to the dungeon. I'm not sure if it will be safe." Sam said. There was concern in his voice. "But I also want to see a chant tank in action." What little worry he had quickly became excitement.
"So you're going to meet him today then?" "Yes, I plan to. Besides I always wanted to try out the clones." The four said their byes and left Maya, who went to the house and waited for some good news.
"Are you done?" Lord Carnage asked seeing Sam approach him. "They too had to meet their masters. Thought I might as well come and join you, master." "I plan on leaving for a tier four dungeon in half-hour. Is there something you want to pack before we leave?" "Will it take more days?"
"Depends on the dungeon. Some take hours while others take months. Since the one we will be visiting is a cleared dungeon, it will be faster." "Alright then, I will go request for a clone." "No need. You won't die with me there. Besides, clones don't help you level up. What's the point of doing this if you don't gain some experience from it."
The two left immediately after Sam packed his bag of clothes.
