Chapter XXXVI: Wrath of The Gods

*ೃ༄

Flashback...

Damien finished dealing with some men from the Triad in Hong Kong, he was looking around before he found the item he's looking for--the atomic orb-like artifact with two Saturn-like rings floating around it. He held out his hand as he hold the orb that was known as 'Eye of the Deep End' from the Phantom Samsara, he can hear the sound of atom-like energy coming from the orb itself. 'Althair... really entrusted me to collect these, seems like I had to be careful with it...' he thought, before he carry the precious treasure to retrieve it.

He sensed Takashi approached him by running, he immediately use his cane to swing him and counter him--pushing him by his sole pressure point of his katana on his stomach. Takashi gasped, grunting as he felt his abdomen stabbed and causing him to fly backwards due to the force, before he huffed. "Takashi Shimaou... leader of One-Eyed Dragon, the last of Shimaou Family Head..." Damien muttered, looking down at him menacingly as Takashi smirked up at him. "Damien Fernandez Christiadjie, youngest godfather of Indonesian underworld business, leader of Secret Garden, and last but not least--heir of Christiadjie Group. You're indeed a unique person," he taunted.

Damien narrowed his eyes, he always denied the title of being the youngest godfather in Indonesia because of its 'menial' title. For some reason, the atmosphere was tense and the surrounding wind were blown but it only made Damien and Takashi felt it slightly. He aimed his cane, watching Takashi stand up on his own. "What are you doing here?" he asked the one-eyed man, who didn't want to tell his answer. 'What is he doing here? He's no longer a threat, let him be,' he thought, before he smirked. "No answer? Well then, I suppose we'll end this quick--" he pulled his trigger as he struck his opponent, his black coat was only tattered after getting hit.

Takashi used his katana, charging towards him and attempted to deliver a deep slash--only to be blocked by Damien's cane. He sprung his cane, before he stated. "I don't have time fighting with you, I suppose we better fight somewhere private than on the street," he said, lowering his cane from striking his opponent as morphed his cane into a black umbrella on his hand. 'Heh, that's the only I can do for an exemption,' he thought, before he became a hologram and faded into a glitch of the light--while Takashi looked surprise, clenching his fists in his glove covered hands. 'Unbelievable, this man was no ordinary brute...'

A brief moment of shock, before Takashi had left the Triad base in Hong Kong.

At the alley in Kowloon, Damien was leaning against the fence--holding the orb as he inspected it. He saw Kizuna was standing there, looking around while trying to avoid herself from being seen by Takashi. He huffed, before he turn around and saw his men came towards him. "This is it, time to go now."

End of Flashback...

Kohaku froze when he encountered Takashi and Kizuna again, making his face pale upon meeting them again. But, he wanted another rematch, he wasn't satisfied with the result for running away after getting injured by Takashi. He took a deep breath, before he has arrived in the middle of the empty road where he met him again. "Hmph, I don't expect I would meet you here..." the one-eyed male said as he was standing there, he walked closer while holding his gun. "Before I was interrupted by our other rival, we need to have some talk..." he added, making Kohaku raised his eyebrows when his shadowy presence was behind him.

"Did you hear of the war for the underworld business?"

He raised his eyebrows, but kept staying cautious. Then, Takashi looked at him. "Can you like leave Indonesia already? You just fucking stepped into Damien's territory," he added as he glared at him, the yakuza didn't stop and continued to intimidate him for his response. "Huh... that little bitch in penguin suits have lots of guts to threaten us. Besides, we have the same goal--I just do something way different. Why, you and your sidekick friends have better chance of winning against us?" he asked, Kohaku gritted his teeth.

Kohaku already told himself not to harm them, because last time they were told not to kill them and spare them. BUT DUE TO CONFLICTED SHIT BETWEEN DAMIEN AND THEM THAT ENDS IN ABSOLUTE DISASTER--he had no other choice. Then, he faced Takashi with a serious look. "I always thought you two were crazy boss, that's what I was told from a reliable source. You'd think it's impossible for me to know how the world really works and therefore have no idea who the real enemy is," he growled, taking out his weapon. Takashi only watched with interested look, sensing the boy's determination before they unsheathed the katana and bullwhip to clash against each other once more.

Kizuna used her katana to block their attacks, only to make Kohaku realize that he was cornered by her when her sword was pointed towards his neck. Takashi has an amused look on his face before he stared back at the young operative, knowing that it was over. "Are you now learning your place, Tirta?" Kizuna demanded Kohaku, before the latter held up both hands. He understood what she was trying to say, before he took a deep breath--raising his head up as his determined gaze and confidence rose. "Yes, I am."

Kohaku closed his eyes when Takashi began to attack him, before he evaded his attack swiftly by retaliating as they struggled over the sword. 'Don't attack him directly.' Damien's words kept resonating inside his head, before his eyes snapped open after that. In an instant, he grabbed Takashi's arm as he made a lock to pin the latter--not hurting him but in an agonizing way. Kizuna was about to attack him, before she yelped when Kohaku used his bullwhip's chain to lock her body to his torso. "Now...."

Kohaku tied them up with his weapon and then threw them before they crashed on a building wall, crashing it when a massive amount of broken pieces of stones were destroyed on impact. He was panting heavily, after using his brain cells to come up with a plan for unexpected situation. "The next time, you guys come here--you'll leave sooner than expected. Or else I'll declare this as an action taken in self-defense, and no one's coming with me alive," he said with dark tone, emphasizing that to know their places--before he fell backwards to the ground and broke his cool comically while panting.

The men from the two factions were flabbergasted by what happened as he tied them up with a single action, although they received injuries as the two were crashed into the building almost far from there. "Ane-san!" Kizuna's men yelled, so does Takashi's men to their boss. "Aniki! Are you okay?!"

"Uh..."

Takashi weakly answered while struggling to get loose from the rope, he felt somewhat impressed with Kohaku--to the point he made such efforts to have the upper hand against a skilled operative. Kizuna grunted, before she kicked Takashi's chest with her long legs hard to get out of her restraints until the chain was snapped by one kick that she was released from her lock, creating an agonizing tension to his chest. "I underestimated him... shit..."

Kohaku slowly stand up with a huff, before he unleashed his katana-like weapon that Hisato forged for him--which has a white and black handle with black cross guard, along an open frame like a five-petaled window. With a silver-white bronze guard and lavender hilt-wrapping, the color of the blade is burgundy wine--which reminds him of Sherry's hair color that almost matched with her katana-like weapon. Not only that, he unleashed his white flintlock with black frames and polished symbol of OUTLAW insignia of his team he led. He has been taking his gun-kata training seriously by both Sherry and Damien to the point that he might give a promise on hunting each yakuza down for every murder, massacres and destruction as well as collateral damage they have done.

"That's it, I'm not holding back this time!"

He declared before rushing to attack the two, now feeling his boiling determination to take them down on a heated intense combat. He sensed one's movement and using the reflection of the blade to counter his opponents, using his left hand to fire the bullets and while charging with his blade with his right hand to strike. Kizuna raised her head up and watched Kohaku's sword swung directly to the two yakuza leaders, before... he merely halted his attack.

Why?

Takashi tried to take the initiative, before Kohaku pointed the tip of his sword at him--causing him to remain still. Kizuna looked at him with wide eyes when the latter finally realized that he was stopping himself to deliver the coup de grâce on his opponents despite giving them an advantage over his injuries, then Kohaku scoffed as he withdraw his sword. "Damien didn't want me to kill, he even forbade me of my own oath of exterminating criminals and that vow--nothing more," he stated, turning his back on them. "Without his permission, of course. I'm just an assassin contracted to the shadow government, all I wanted is to protect everyone and my country."

Kohaku explained, not moving an inch despite their surprised reaction from his reluctance to deliver his finishing blow to kill the one responsible for the tragedies of his friends. Damien said not to kill, in exchange he let them live temporarily because he threatened them. But, since they broke one of his rules--especially when he attacked them, Damien only sighed--because he let Kohaku decide on the matter with them.

"What... are you doing?! Kill us, Tirta!"

Takashi challenged him with a smirk, before Kizuna heard him continued his sentence. "Hah, he's just a rookie. I thought you're the best of his minions--" he was interrupted when Kohaku glanced over his shoulder with his shimmering red eyes under the dark night sky, as the crescent moon's light revealed through the darkness. He smiled eerily, his usual cheerful facade was replaced with a half-smile that turned into a crazed grin. "What? You want me to kill you?" he mocked as the yakuza was startled by the question, with an intimidating undertone. "Perhaps, a little bit of torture will do the job, eh?"

He now activated a threatening and psychotic nature on him, combined with a mix of insanity behind his smile. "Kizuna, you're free to go. But, Takashi? If you'd like..." Kohaku paused, holding his sword on his left hand. Kizuna and Takashi's men watch the psychological horror happening in front of their eyes, some of them already wanted to flee upon seeing him cracked up his crazy-hunting expression after they were caught. "... to try my patience in the most humiliating way, it'll end sooner than later. You do want me to be merciless on you, don't you? For getting in my way."

He chuckled while keeping his twisted look, his enemies already seeing how much dangerous he was--Kizuna got her katana unsheathed and prepared herself, while the bluish-black haired male... already trying his best to hide his fear. He had experienced those people who are not to be messed around, but one person stood out and that was Damien himself. "Kayana Sahanaya Tirta... you have changed, I respect you on that!" Takashi yelled, he has decided that to mess with him and his boss is a major mistake.

Byakuya landed on the ground with a katana on his hand, kneeling on one knee beside Kohaku as he spoke. "Sorry to keep you waiting, Kohaku," he apologized, Kohaku only smirked. "Let's finish this, shall we?" he muttered, while Byakuya only nodded. "I'll take on Takashi, if you can't defeat him--let your best friend take care of him," he added, causing Kohaku to be surprised--but thankful that he knew what did he mean. "I knew you from the start after all," Byakuya revealed to him, before looking at the two. "How about Kizuna?"

"Nah, I'll just keep her at bay and I don't really hate her much."

Kohaku said, before Byakuya watched Takashi began to clash at him--so he blocked his attack with his katana's blade through a loud clash, using his strength to support him. "Ah shit, this is the part where we need to win--no holds bar against these opponents," Kohaku complained, before he clashed his weapon with Kizuna. The fight began, but this time--the real and last test they needed.

This is a trial period that will come with a great success or absolute failure.

Byakuya remained calm when he faced Takashi, before he struck at the latter. Both blades are clashed, now the sparks begin to fly up high as the true battle has started between them. Takashi isn't going to run this time, this is what Kohaku been waiting for and his anticipation increased as he strike swiftly towards Kizuna. This is it, their encounter has lead them towards the bitter-sweet--challenging him is something he's not surprised that the yakuza leaders won't think twice about coming to him.

Takashi narrowed his one eye when he tried to break into Byakuya's stance, the purplish-black haired operative stared at Takashi with his cold gaze as he immediately blocked him. Byakuya sprung his blade of his katana and keep slashing his opponent in quick succession, before delivering a single wide slash strike. The wound on his wrist was deepened, causing Takashi hissed in pain--then he clenched his fists. "Byakuya Shinobu... your techniques aren't going to use that against me! Who do you think you are?!"

'If you would dare try to beat me in my own game and trickery, why not have a rematch from our last encounter? No cheating nor spar that will make you weak, because this is a real challenge.'

Byakuya thought, he took his chance and attacked him when his fingers gripped against the handle of the katana. "This is where your 'game' is going to end, Takashi Shimaou. I have a clear victory over you with this match," he said, before Kohaku only smirked--now hearing it to the point where Takashi can only clench his teeth--defeated, albeit Kizuna's eyes widen. "As someone who came from Tadanari-ha Ittō-ryū..." said Byakuya, his skillful blade was cutting through the dust in the air as the moonlight reveals itself to both criminals--silently looking at him. "... this battle ends now."

Kizuna fell down as she was panting with her clothes tattered a bit on her body, almost revealing her skin before Kohaku snapped out of it to give Kizuna some respect. Takashi hold his bleeding stomach while Byakuya pointed his blade at him as it was still pointing against his opponent's chest. "Crap, I forgot you're a woman..." Kohaku grumbled as he was embarrassed, managing to face away until he felt a tap on his shoulder.

"This ends, now!"

Kizuna attempted to make her sword stabbed at him, before Kohaku reacted as his reflexes activate his katana to retaliate her blade--causing her to fell down on her back with injured arm and managed to stay conscious. His fighting style isn't lethal because the young operative of Secret Garden was highly recommended for those higher ranked officials and executives have instructed him to not deliver lethal damage against him, no more lives should be lost with any casualties due to the aftermath and effects.

Byakuya watched Takashi was coughing for several times, he was about to finish him off--but Kohaku told him to stop. "There's no need to kill them, at least--we made them our targets for this mission," Kohaku said, getting his final message about this chapter he wanted to end. He lend Kizuna a hand and let her stand up, no matter what status they had... Kohaku is a gentleman that refuses to stoop down to their level of a scumbag inhumane.

Takashi began to stand up on his own, grunting as he finally look up and prepared himself. "Hmph, not bad. You both are the kind-hearted ones, huh? Keep resisting and that will result in the worst fate possible..." he said with a cackle, seeing the men of their respective factions still there--trying to assist them. "Until we meet again, Kohaku."

Takashi warned him before he gave his signature move to Kohaku--the latter simply huffed with a scowl, before he froze when Kizuna suddenly hugged Takashi out of the blue. Byakuya stared at Kohaku awkwardly, so does Kohaku because what the actual fuck is she hugging a damn YAKUZAon this life threatening situation? Is this for real or just some delusion in his twisted view and mind? He could only slap his forehead and covering it. "Why are you always worried of me, Takashi?"

Kizuna whispered, there's that kind of weird moment in private conversation--though the scene was... bizarre with them in this critical moment. Is this serious? Until, Byakuya realized that there's something between them; it was more than just enemies with opposite ideology. They were actually... rivals or friends since they're close too? But the former rival to him is as cold as an ice--making it hard to tell. Takashi tried to act like the villain who refuses to admit his worst humiliation against Damien's operative, Byakuya, when he sensed his aura. But, Kizuna saw his dark aura and his behavior changed after that.

"No way, ane-san...."

The men of the two factions muttered, is he? Kohaku was about to speak, but his best friend shushed him by covering his mouth with his hand while hissing. "Let them, or else..." Byakuya urged him to not further engage in conversation and stay quiet, he nodded as he watched the two of them from the distance with him.

Kizuna pulled away from her enemy, before she look down from his single gaze. "Why are you so caring to me? I thought... when you saw my crimson eyes for the first time, you will hate me because of how it look--and I absolutely despised anyone who saw my eyes, they were meant to be feared," she muttered, now the slightly older male widened his eyes upon hearing her voice of despair. Is she... always looked sad behind her facade as a leader and a murderer for the past three years? She really sounded vulnerable, kind and more humanlike for the first time--instead of his cold look. "I know you're faking it, Takashi. You can't even show how much you loathed me when your little ruse was exposed, when you actually--feel bad about your men and my subordinates' deaths because of our war! I thought you've forgotten that. I could've killed you after I pushed you in the pool in our last encounter, just like you did to me."

Takashi look away from her, his golden eye narrowed as he wondered--why he was unable to show his usual taunting aura. He almost never falters whenever he shows his ego to Kohaku, though he does have a feeling--it is because he actually shows her concern and how much Kizuna isn't the strongest and fearless individual as much as he thought. "I'm not leaving Indonesia unless you tell me what is the real intention of confronting me, what else you want?" Takashi demanded, Kizuna's red eyes were enough to put him on the spot and is being lured in this sensation between them. "You tell me first, you're the one who messes with my men first--so what's your reason for coming here?"

Is this all just to get closer and share some quality time, albeit twisted?

Is he secretly asking her out after this fiasco?

Kizuna narrowed her eyes, before she look up at him for a moment--before she turn around and stomping back to her men of Crimson Lotus Dragon. "Ane-san, are you okay? Answer us," one of the subordinates asked her as he shook her shoulder, and the yakuza boss stopped before she answered the latter. "Never better, now get in the fucking car and we're out of here!" she barked, acting out of her character that it startled both him and the other subordinates. Takashi sighed, before he walk back to his men of One-Eyed Dragon--seeing his men asked him if he's okay or not. "Aniki! Are you okay?!"

Why do they keep asking him that? They could've used it more on Kizuna, why her? But, he was glad that he was more important to his men then before--whatever happened to him shouldn't have been discussed as well, that is an even bigger secrecy than his true battle method. For some reason, Takashi rubbed the back of his neck as his golden eye faced the night sky for a moment. "Sheesh, I thought that we could actually reach our true understanding--but turned to this awkwardness between us as two bosses. Looks like I'm jealous of her yet I have to be the next."

'Damn...'

After the two got what they wanted in terms of target to be obtained, their ultimate goal accomplished by finishing their missions. "What was that all about?" Kohaku whispered, now curious because these people usually is as cocky as much as Damien was in his first impression--Kizuna and Takashi surprisingly were much stronger than him. At least it wasn't as disastrous as it should've ended in worse case scenario. Byakuya hummed. before he whispered back. "From what I recall about what Damien told me, they indeed has something in common--they have a rough past and... they really hated their fathers respectively because of what they have done in the past," he explained, Kohaku nodded as he also recalled what Damien told him. "Yeah... Kizuna lost her original pair of eyes from her father and had to live with her transplanted new eyes that looks like a devil itself, and Takashi lost one eye from his father that he had to wear eyepatch for the rest of his life. That's why we should avoid causing any conflict."

"Right..."

Kohaku nodded, remembering he could've beat them up in the past--but to break his promise wasn't something he likes, that is why he let them live. "I want to see Kizuna, but we have to tell our friends about this," he said, but he don't know if Sherry, Kiryu, Rayna, Kyouka and Radjasa would mind about them--but they have to stay alert no matter what. "Yeah, I'll handle Takashi because I know you might get into deep trouble with him," Byakuya replied, before they finally split up.

That doesn't mean that secret organizations in the shadows are making a friendly treaty, but that does make it the opportunity to prevent more war that will destroy each sides. Both forsaken individuals with tragic past that had been keeping to themselves without making them share the burden they are carrying. It was only three years when one day, they suddenly ran away and changed their identities by joining the yakuza organizations. Not only that, since these organizations refused to contact on neutral area--then that makes it clear not to provoke them with their methods of mass destruction.

The next morning...

Kohaku approached Kizuna's villa where her yakuza men guarding the area, making him huffed as he was about to enter--until he got blocked by the men. "Hey, who are you? Can't you see the place is already forbidden unless--" the man couldn't finish the sentence when Kohaku shut him off by clearing his throat, putting his hands behind his back. "Kayana Sahanaya Tirta, remember? I spared your boss at mercy, can you let me in and talk to her?" he asked politely while persuading them.

Kizuna walked to the nearest glass window where she could see his reflection of her body guard talking to her guest, her crimson eyes blinked twice--before she ordered the men to let him pass as the other one granted him to enter the villa after his permission has given. The male operative entered, bowing as he greeted her. "It's an honor to meet you again, boss lady," he greeted her.

"Same, I saw what happened last night on the surveillance video--why did you decide not to kill Shimaou?"

Kohaku listens to her question, seeing her sitting on the couch with a wine glass of champagne on her hand. He hesitated a little, before he stared at her. "Even though he did terrible things to my friend who died... I just can't take his life away. I didn't feeling like it," he replied with sincerity, knowing that she will need his truthful answer. "Not only that, when I saw you hugged Takashi... it made me wonder if your bond with him quite complicated or something...? If you don't want to tell, it's fine."

He looked away before Kizuna gently ushered him to come over the couch, facing him as she faced her down to her lap. "Hah, he only seems to be concerned about me but we both know it's just temporary... I thought my decision in making one of you be involved to create this rematch is interesting, but he wasn't supposed to care."

Kizuna explained, sipping her drink. Kohaku leaned against the back of the couch, looking at the view. "Anyway, I came here because I want to know if you have a family?" he asked, although he did saw her photos with her late-mother--she stayed quiet. 'Crap, I shouldn't ask her that. It probably brings her bad memories,' he thought. "Forget it, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to--" he apologized until Kizuna interrupted him. "No, no. You really surprised me," she said with a smile, Kohaku returned the smile back. "I'm the only child of Kekkain Family, I still have relatives but we're not that much close. My father not only tried to kill me when I was young, he poisoned my mother until her death because he want to take our family's wealth."

"That must be horrible, your father isn't even a good person," he remarked, Kizuna nodded--seemed to agree with his words. "And you may not believe me, I still did not forgive him and I always waiting for him to rot in prison. Apparently, much to my surprise... Takashi indeed has a similar past, except that he lost one eye and his father is a psycho like my dad--he lost his mother like me... but wasn't been involved as well."

Upon learning that Takashi lost his mother and living with his father, Kohaku looked genuinely shocked--although that wasn't as severe as her trauma from her father, she admitted she was sad too because the truth that she was indeed... cried in silence by what her own family had been through in her lifetime. "You can despise me all you want, but you're starting to show compassion against those who are considered from our enemy," Kizuna took a deep breath, before letting a faint chuckle. "Seriously, Damien really taught you well huh?"

Byakuya listens to Takashi's story when he sat down on the couch in his villa with his younger sister Kyouka, he and Kyouka were shocked upon learning about his true past and how did he became the way he is now. "So, that's why you're hesitant to defeat Kizuna?" he asked, Takashi remained silent, but sighing. "Partly, I'm actually glad I met her. But..." he didn't finished his sentence until his eye opened, watching the two Shinobu siblings in front of him while he still sat down.

"... not that I can think less of Kizuna, she changed into a beautiful and strong woman. I can never hate her, not after that night..."

Takashi confessed, this caused Kyouka and Byakuya exchanged confused look before the girl turned around and leave the room. Byakuya crossed his arms as he realized that somehow, there is some sort of feeling is blooming for him and Kizuna after their one last fight in the past several years ago. 'Perhaps... Damien didn't want to kill both of them, because he knew they have been through enough abuse and the suffering they'd been under their pressure and burdens. Like he knows his men best, they're that complicated yet so easy to be defeated.'

Kyouka thought, looking at her older brother as she whispered to Byakuya quietly. "Nii-sama, what do you think that two of them got hit together?" she asked, tilting her head. Then, Byakuya whispered back. "Maybe. From my observation before, they acted quite obvious, Kyouka."

But will their past self bring the two of them into oblivion, where time will stop before they proceed to kill each other--or as forsaken individuals to be freed from past tragedies they've been through. "We did encounter Damien in the past, when we were in Hong Kong during our underworld business--we've been rivals. But, why did Damien spare us when we mess with you and your little friend."

Takashi let out a small chuckle when he said that to them, remembering his memories of Damien when they were around at the age of twenty-three. "Even though we disagreed on something, somehow he seems to have much-needed understanding inside. You know, he was somewhat merciful to the people he saw in the past and that got Kizuna trapped--making him much more dangerous, that he doesn't give in and go down, like a stubborn beast and an elite soldier. He was clearly above you, me, our rival--all those other people."

"You're a danger to yourself," Byakuya sighed as he understood his statement, finally witnessing first-hand... how much different and interesting he was.

Then, Byakuya remembered a question he had been wondering, wanting to confirm something from Takashi. "By the way, how did you end up like that--distrusting people?" the purplish-black haired assassin asked, only for Takashi to look at him. "Isn't that the first question everyone asks to me? Let's just say, I may not trust others that quickly but rather believe in the hard earned trust. Kizuna does have reasons to hate me that I was threatened to see the fate and be erased, she used that as her fuel against me and her duty to the people she serves... hence leading our rivalry and war," Takashi explained, a brief silence ensued after that until Byakuya continued. "I guess, I do understand... that you two have something--but you two keep denying it."

Takashi scoffed, he laughed because of his response. "Go ask Kizuna about her troublesome and heartbroken ordeal she went through, except me. My relationship with her is entirely... messed up, we're still competitive but whatever I did--it didn't matter! That bitch shouldn't have ever given me a special treatment," he hissed as he clenched his fists, but Byakuya only sighed. "But, that doesn't change the fact that you still prevent those mafias from fighting her, right?"

Well... that was indeed a fact he couldn't ignored and changed, while the bluish-black haired yakuza boss only looked away--indirectly admitting his feelings on Kizuna was undeniable, true feelings. He felt something stirred for her, the conflict of wanting to save her because she often put her life on the line for her country, but what about his conflict to protect her? If he was the one that prevent him from destroying his relationship with her?

Will it lead to a great resolution, or an illusion filled with a trap?

Kyouka yawned, leaning her back against the couch. "(Takashi, listen...)" she said in Japanese, now the three of them speak in their native language so it will be much faster to say and talk since they're Japanese citizens. "(Can you like be honest with her? You two have known each other in the past right? Don't you have something to say to her? I thought you'd say after all the encounters you made...)"

Takashi stared at her for a moment, before his eye widened upon realizing the point. "(Damien told us that you two only have two weeks left in Bali, you don't want him to spend a huge ass dime to immigration office to go through hoops about overstaying visa bullshit to get here and kill both of you, now can you?)"

Well, he has a point--they got all the money and resources they needed, so going to the immigration office will take a while before his and Kizuna's enemies can track their location again. He wanted his men--no, his whole organization to enjoy for the last time in Bali, no interruptions, so he has to pay the price. His lips turned into a thin line, before he continued to answer Byakuya's question. "(Fine then, I wanted to meet her... somewhere peaceful to discuss our current situation.)"

The next day...

Damien was pissed as fuck, not only he had to renew his subordinates' passports and his as well--but THESE TWO YAKUZA LEADERS' VISA WERE FUCKING EXPIRING AS WELL IN TWO WEEKS! What the fucking bloody hell, how much had he to bear about these goddamn issues he got to solve?! HAVEN'T THAT ENOUGH TO MAKE HIM A DEADMAN ALREADY?! He was in the immigration office, the Indonesian leader want to kill their men so bad but he hold it back because the Indonesian shadow government told him to not do the dirty work. Right, it took a great while because several transactions he's working on now.

"Mr. Damien Fernandez Christiadjie?"

The immigration officer asked, Damien immediately looked at the former when he heard his name being called. He stood up and walk towards the officer behind the desk, exchanging some money to his superiors. Thank God, Indonesia's shadow government loaned him the money for the passports and visas--else he have to make some major deal with those people from all over the world, right? Because that always works every single time, even though they are not getting away without paying big amount of cash that could be equivalent to seven digits. Good thing he's a wealthy businessman, a billionaire who actually liked collecting art and those traditional items to maintain the cultures in Bali and everything in Indonesia--especially cigarettes.

Damien was waiting for the passports to be delivered to him, while the visa needs to wait for one more week--aw yes, his personal phone buzzed, signaling someone's calling him; when he pick it up...

"Where the hell are you right now, Damien?!"

Oh crap, it was Hisato--his colleague in Secret Garden. "I'm in immigration office because those two underworld bosses have to leave Bali within two weeks due to the visa expiry rule, I had to pay for it! What's wrong, Hisato?" he asked him on his phone, before he heard him took a deep breath. "I was asking about that too, because the Japanese government keep pestering shit to Byakuya and Kyouka about these two, their names are--"

"Kizuna Kekkain and Takashi Shimaou, I get it."

Hisato growled a little, before he calmed down when his little girl Ichika was coming back from elementary school as the single-father smiled at her--not wanting her to see her father having a fucking scary ass visage like that. "Listen, Damien... the Japanese shadow government warn us to get those two back because they need them so bad, after they left for the second time," he explained in a wary tone, but the latter remained calm and cool at the same time. "Wait, hold up--Kayana's message is up."

Damien said, checking Kohaku's contact to see the update; he facepalmed that Kohaku sent a photo of Takashi and Kizuna already left to the airport--heading to their own private jets respectively. Then, he shared it to Hisato and he texted: "Can I have peace now? We've done what our friends asked us to."

Hisato exhales in relief, now the problem has been solved. "Finally, I need to take a good vacation as well with my daughter... time to extend my visa as well--"

"Use your work visa, not vacation visa. I don't want to have money trouble, just a reminder since you used work visa."

"Yeah yeah, I know that--thanks for the heads up," Hisato replied, before he hugged Ichika and carry her in his arm like a small toddler--then putting her back down on the floor. "Time for a vacation in Ubud!" he shouted in joy, causing his daughter giggled upon seeing her father excited about going to the place he wanted to go. "Eh, why you don't bring me?" she asked him, pouting with some tears in her eyes. "Of course I bring you with me, bunny. Come on, let's buy that doll you wanted the other day!" Hisato assured her, ruffling her chestnut-brown hair. "Alright Papa! Let's go!"

Kohaku and the rest finally had their peaceful time, before the male assassin decided to do his work as a lecturer and odd-jobs here--that will change the way the two yakuza bosses do their stuff. Now, no need to fight each other in Bali, right?
