Chapter XVI: Guerrilla

*ೃ༄

Damien stared at the screen of his phone when he received an incoming call from Hifumi when they were outside the building, talking on his cell phone. The video clip that Hifumi sent him was from Veronica and Heinry--the two were begging him not to kill them. He shake his head, he didn’t expect them to never apologize for their actions and didn’t admit their wrongdoings. “What do you think of this?” Hifumi asked Damien, yawning after listening to their excuses. “I think it’s pathetic,” he snorted in amusement when Hifumi showed him the video clip that was recorded by one of their spies during the meeting between Veronica and Heinry. “They are just trying to make themselves look innocent, but we’re not idiots. More worse, they’re like followers of that man who was the beginning of that tragedy. Good thing the skinwalker is arrested as well, but... how did Luca restrain him like that?"

Hifumi said with a curious look, seeing how amused Damien was when he was watching his video recording. “So what should I do to them?” he asked him, wanting his advice for the upcoming operation. “Let them being apprehended by the Trilaksana Organization, it’s their responsibility after all, since you’re one of them—I suggest you to join them since you’re part of them,” Damien reassured, folding his arms. “Even though you’re formerly one of us, at least you still have the guts to ask for our help.”

Hifumi listens to him, which made him pout. “Fine, at least you’re willing to help us in this mission,” he said that he smiled evilly at him, making Damien glare at him with annoyance. He was happy that Hifumi decided to help the Secret Garden despite being in the mission with Trilaksana Organization, but he still isn’t convinced that he’s actually loyal to them--and the last thing he needs is a troublesome ally. “Seriously… what’s wrong with you?” he murmured, before he stand up and walk away from him. While they are apprehended and arrested to the authority in the port, Damien approached Kohaku who's watching the bioterrorists were arrested by them.

“Are you okay?”

Damien asked him with a smile, Kohaku turn around to face him; he nodded with a small smile. “I’m fine, thank you for asking--I’m just wondering that... why did Hifumi help us?” he heard his question, he sighed softly. “Those bioterrorists are too stubborn to tell the truth, so I had to rely on Hifumi even though I don’t want to... I’m truly sorry about that. He may be a former member of the organization, but that doesn’t mean his ties with Secret Garden and shadow government severed completely.”

Kohaku shook his head when Damien apologized to him, making him looking up at him. “Don’t worry about it, I think that worth it because those bastards will never hurt the innocents again.”

“I agree,” Kohaku listens to him him with a small laugh, before he decided to ask him. “So, Terrence Simmons escaped with Reinhardt Morgan?" he asked, Damien nodded with a frown. "Yeah... that's a bad news, but good thing that we found their traces. We’re currently searching for him, but we haven’t found him yet. We also sent one of our team to look for him, but no luck. There’s not much information about him, except from what Veronica has told us,” Damien explained, making Kohaku nodded. “It’s okay, I’m sure we’ll find him soon.”

Kohaku nodded his head, determined as he was willing to find these people. "After everything that I went through…” he trailed off for a moment, looking down at his feet before he look up at his superior. “… I still have a long way and journey to go through, I’m not giving up yet, Damien.”

Damien was surprised by his determination, but he found Kohaku was willing enough to put his life at risk to protect anyone he cared the most. He couldn’t help just to smile at him, as if he treated him like his own student or son at least. “Will you continue to be with us until the end?” he asked, testing Kohaku’s loyalty to him to ensure if he was willing to follow his path.

And, this is his answer: “Yes.”

He was obviously satisfied by his answer, simple but clear--he couldn’t wait to train him and give him the new experience as an assassin. By it means, getting out from the comfort zone. “I’m glad to hear that, Kayana,” Damien smiled at him until he heard a notification from his phone, so he check the messages and his eyes widened. “What’s wrong?”

Kohaku asked, seeing Damien covering his mouth before he uncovered his mouth and take a deep breath; he was shocked to see the messages he received from one of his men. "Motherfucker... one of my men informed me that there’s an explosive device planted in the base of Trilaksana Organization in Bali, another bad news is... Terrence got killed by Reinhardt after my men found him in Denpasar, he was heading back to Bali and that means double trouble. He's going to destroy the city, along with the base of Trilaksana HQ.”

“Wait, what?!”

Kohaku exclaimed, he also saw the hint of anger in Damien’s eyes--he felt the same thing too. “We have to go back to Indonesia as soon as possible! What should we do?!” Kohaku asked, he was desperate and this is too sudden until he saw Hisato came to them. “Damien! Bad news! We have to return to Bali right now, they found the bombs planted on the base of Trilaksana Organization! We have to go back now!”

“No, wait, I need to call the shadow government first, tell them about this,” Damien replied, and he looked at Kohaku.”Kayana, I want to be sure if you’re ready to face him, have you ever stand up against him?”

Kohaku nodded at him, he’s no longer afraid of him and he have to stop him no matter what. “I have,” Damien heard his answer, making him smiled. “Good then.”

Damien turning around immediately and walk away from them to make a call to someone in Bali, it was one of the shadow government ministers he talked but Kohaku refuse to say the name. “What do you mean? Is it really him?” the shadow government minister asked him, Damien sighed heavily. “Yes,” Damien sighed sadly, “I know he’s back... one of my trusted operatives informed me that he’s heading back here with some explosive devices. We can’t ignore this matter, so I hope you understand that this is an emergency situation.”

“Understood,” the shadow government minister responded calmly, the boss of Secret Garden nodded. “Since he’s the traitor of every nations, let Trilaksana Organization execute him.”

After several hours, they finally arrived at the airport—the group of assassins went straight to the lounge, where Damien’s men told him that Reinhardt has arrived in Bali. Byakuya was getting anticipated for this, he prayed that Kohaku will make it and both Nadya and Kyouka also prayed for him. Hisato made the strategy for Kohaku to follow and he also told him to stay hidden at the rooftop of the building until Hokuri is already there, which made Kohaku nod in agreement. “I don’t know how to fight him... I never seen him fought someone before,” Kohaku murmured, feeling nervous about it. “I’m scared that I might die.”

“Just do the best you can,” Hisato told him, and he nodded. “I’m counting on you, Kohaku. You’re the one who can stop him, we believe in you.”

“I can’t let you down,” Kohaku replied with a solemn voice, he clenched his fist and whispered to himself. “I won’t fail you.”

“Wait! Before you go,” Hokuri interrupted them, before he explained. “This Phantom Beast is mutated because those three scientists of Legion Revengers injected the Utopia Virus into it, I don’t know if Terrence has the Core—but you better be careful and steady when you faced him,” his professor explained, he added. “That Phantom Beast is similar to the sea creature known as Crinoidea, known as feather stars or comatulids. It has feathers that similar to the crown and larger than the creature.”

Kohaku felt like he’s going to shudder by imagining that, he wondered how’s he going to deal with that thing. "Kayana!" Shania shouted, approaching him as she hold his arms by surprise. "Be careful, I trust in you," she said, but he corrected. "Don't you mean all of you guys?" he asked, making her fell quiet before she snapped. "T-That's what I mean!" Andrew and Julian snickered, before Sherry chuckled and goes towards them with casual smile. "My my, you know it's not all about you right?"

Crap, here we go again.

Shania wanted to punch her but she hold it back, seeing that Sherry leaning against Kohaku's shoulder and the latter remained ignorant... although deep down he wanted to leave so bad.

Kohaku followed the steps of the strategy Hisato made for him, he rushed to the roof of the building and hid himself from the guards and the people in the building. He made a sliding motion to the floor and ran towards the rooftop, he had to avoid the obstacles and the army of Phantom Beasts that will be dealt with them. Once he reached the rooftop, he waited for him to appear and used his stealth to sneak near him. He observed his movements carefully, he noticed that he is carrying a bag and appeared to be suspicious. ‘That fucking bastard...’ Kohaku thought, because he knows that Reinhardt is already here in Bali.

“I’m glad you’re here, I’ve been waiting for you.”

The skinwalker spoke as he was camouflaging as his late-tormentor, making Kohaku petrified that he even had his voice and behavior that made him even more angry. “Shut up, you shithead,” Kohaku snarled at him, making him frowned at him as he folded his arms. “You’re the one who should shut up, you’re the one who caused all this trouble. You know why I’m here right? Why you’re here in Bali? I thought you were fired after what you did to me… you also stole Professor Hokuri’s works too! How could you…?” he froze, realizing that he was talking to the fake professor.

“I’m here to kill your precious friends,” Reinhardt said coldly, grinning at him.

Kohaku recalled the memory of his other campus friends, they were killed by the explosion in the campus during Phantom Eruption. He trembled at that sight when he escaped from there, he also remembered how Juan and Misuzu died by the skinwalker's hands--causing him to blame himself that he was so weak that time. He always wanted to be strong, so that he can repay his friends' debt--he know the consequences of what he did and he definitely going to carry them. “They died because of your fault, asshole. You caused the Phantom Eruption, you unleashed the horde of Phantom Beasts, how does that makes you feel? I bet you felt happy, knowing that a lot of people including my campus friends were hurt because of your action... isn’t it?”

“Shut up!”

Reinhardt sneered at him, not wanting to admit that actions. "You’re gonna pay for what you’ve done to me... you exposed my darkest secrets... you also exposed of what I've done to you, I've been interested in you for a long time... I knew you’re an interesting specimen,” he said while revealing his true colors, making Kohaku shivered. “I always wanted you to be my partner, but you rejected me, you’re such a disappointment to me. You should’ve been grateful you’re the first student I want to make as a lab assistant... that's what Rihan said before he died--so I granted his request to be killed and made both of us infused together. Which means, both of us are one."

Kohaku gasped in shock, his voice shaking due to remembering his past and pain he’s suffering--he was facing with the two people in one body and that alone almost getting him distracted. “You’re such a bitch... still remembering your first time? When you're surrounded by me and my pets?" he asked, his voice overlapped with Rihan's voice--triggering him instantly.

Kohaku listened to him which made made him clenched his teeth, he turned his head away from him. Those memories brought him another disaster, he was shaken in absolute terror--but he tried to fight against it.

Reinhardt continued, a grin crept up on his lips. “I bet you enjoyed it, didn’t you? You enjoy being violated by a monster like me, you’re so pathetic! You’re like a toy, a dirty little thing that I bought to satisfy my perverted desires! I loved handsome boys, just like some of your friends!” Rihan added from within him, his tone sounded like a psychopath who acted as if he was right. “The pleasure of having sex is yours alone, isn’t it?” he asked, making Kohaku glared at him. “It’s okay if you’re satisfied, because I’m your favorite plaything, right?” he said, before he laughed. “After I ruined your clothes that you will wear, you begged me not to ruin them anymore--even after we drugged you.”

Kohaku cursed at him, he was beyond disgusted of what he have done. “I told you already, you’re the one who made me suffer through all these--" he paused when his enemy was about to grab his wrist but Kohaku immediately resisted--his strength is stronger than before. “Stop trying to stop me from raping you again... you can’t escape this fate whether you like it or not!”

Kohaku listened to him, he was confused why his former lecturer’s change of behavior towards him. Besides, Kohaku was beyond traumatized and disgusted by what he’ve done to him. “Go to hell.”

Stolen novel; please report.

He twisted Reinhardt's wrist to break his arm, which made him screamed in pain. “No! Stop! Stop hurting me!” he yelled, before he fell down and Kohaku scowled down at him with a growl. “You deserve it, scum like you deserves it,” he muttered coldly at him, before he took the bullwhip from his hand. “Your end has come.”

He prepared his bullwhip that he was meaning to torture him, he held it tightly in his hands and he stared at him. “You should’ve been known about this… Kayana Sahanaya Tirta," Reinhardt said with a smirk, taking out the syringe with the virus inside and he injected the vial to himself. Kohaku was wide-eyed to see him doing that, he muttered. "What are you...”

Reinhardt and Rihan laughed maniacally and simultaneously when he transformed into a gigantic mutant-like monstrous Crinoideia on the rooftop, towering over the building where they stand. Which immediately blowing himself up above and sending everything away from him, Kohaku jumped back and caught the ladder from the chopper that appeared recently.

The giant Crinoid has leaves and fruits growing out of its head and neck with feathers flowing out like a crown above the roots, making it look like a monster that has grown from the land itself. Its leaves have the ability to poison anyone who is bitten by the leaves and the fruit on its body have the ability to paralyze a person’s nervous system, making them unable to move and paralyzed. It was one of the most dangerous mutant trees to date. It’s capable of moving anywhere within seconds of transforming itself into another shape--be it a man-eating plant or a carnivorous beast--it’s just like the Phantom Beast that it’s created from.

The creature was starting to change their shape to something else in order to destroy them; he can’t let it continue for too long as the Trilaksana Headquarters was destroyed already. He stared at the creature in anger and confusion, he didn’t expected that he could transform into a monster. The building was almost completely destroyed, causing him to be worried of the others that were still inside--but everyone from the others are already evacuating outside. “This is your fault, you asshole…” he heard him spoke through the plants mouth, causing him to fall down from the grip intentionally as he heard him spoke.

“I’m gonna make sure that you’ll pay for what you’ve done.”

Kohaku transformed into his Tiryag form; he opened his eyes that became amber-gold with black-red sharp pupils like a demon. Until he watched Byakuya appeared in his Tiryag form as well, just like the other six of his team. “We’ll help you to defeat this monster,” Kaname said to him, folding his arms. “It seems like we were fighting together against this giant large feather thing.”

Kohaku nodded at Kaname, before he faced the large mutant tree--none other than Reinhardt's mutant form in the distance. “Let’s take care of this... I’ll do the final touch,” Kohaku smirked, preparing his fists. “I’ll show you my true power!”

The gigantic mutant-like monstrous Crinoid roared menacingly, while moving towards the group. The Crinoid roared out loud which echoing through the cities, unleashing a torrent of water from the giant tree’s mouth towards the fleeing students of Warmadewata University. They dived down from the building and ran away from the giant tree that’s trying to attack them in an instant—the tree has the ability to move anywhere just like the Phantom Beasts that they have in front of their eyes.

Kyouka appeared in front of a torrent of water as she unleashed her wakizashi on her hand, before slaying up the blade upwards with her phantom familiar Demon Snow following her movements. The water torrent froze by the decreasing temperature of the wakizashi, before hitting Kyouka and her demon companion. “Demon Snow! Use your freezing power! Freeze everything in your path!”

Kyouka commanded her female sword-wielding phantom familiar, making the water frozen with ice and snow--which made the gigantic tree mutant roared in anger by being trapped by the ice. However, this didn’t stop them from attacking them again, making the ice break apart by sheer strength--but this time it was no longer enough for them to fight them. “Nii-sama!” Kyouka yelled at her older brother, Byakuya nodded when he and his phantom familiar Demon Cloud wielding his six floating katanas on their sides--they are ready to battle it out once again.

“Demon Cloud!”

Byakuya summoned his six katanas on his hands, scowling at the Phantom Beast before creating the fog around the Phantom Beast. He slashed his blade together which his blade clashed with a giant mutant-like monstrous creature--the Crinoid tried to retaliate the attack but then couldn’t, once Kiryu released his upcoming attacks of thousand black spear rods aimed at the giant mutant-like monstrous Crinoid as he swung his katana. However, this didn’t end things yet; the ice broke apart due to his barrage of attack and the tree was freed once more by using their brute strength to shatter through the ice-shield. “Not so fast!”

Rayna snapped, before she transformed into IRIS as the mecha-humanoid Molten Soldier Tiryag unleashing thousands of golden flame-like attacks and fired the flames at the tree that made it scream in agony. “Let’s make it suffer,” Radjasa stated as he was in his Tiryag form, before he manifested his longsword that burns with pure radiant red flames, before he creates the ring of fire around the tree. Sherry smiled with a dark giggle, before she shot the beast countless times and swung her katana-like weapon--creating a burst of lights and web-like purple-red silky strings around it; restraining the Crinoid Phantom Beast for them.

The tree was now covered with golden flames, making it unable to breathe, making it difficult for it to move—the tree was also suffering from severe injuries and wounds. Hifumi used his ability to extend and enlarge the red threads around the tree to restrain the tree’s ability to regenerate, including a poison of the fruits before his phantom familiar Jade Demon made countless threads to restrain the Crinoid and creates countless cuts on the beast. Kaname smirked, appearing with his phantom familiar that materialized from behind him holding her katana on her right hand. He drew his katana that was burning with red flames, he sliced his flaming katana on its body while chanting a spell. “Ka’en!” he summoned the crimson red blades from his katana and surrounded the tree with its powerful spell.

“Kohaku! Now’s your chance!”

Kohaku nodded as he created a spiral red-golden flames on his palm as the darkness surrounds them, before he appeared and landed a powerful blow of his fist. Then, he transformed into his Yamantaka Amber form and fired a piercing lights that pierced through its target with ease as it makes it scream in pain. After that he fired his flintlock again, but this time he fired multiple bullets on top of the first bullet as its muzzle flashes. He continued to shoot his flintlock on his target as it continuously fires bullets on top of each other until all of its ammunition is out, then he shot his bullwhip once again, this time it hits his target twice in rapid succession--causing the Crinoid to screech in pain. It was injured severely and now unable to move, before the tree exploded in an explosion.

Murasame appeared at last as the tree was about to land another attack, before blasting an electric forces upon the beast. The Crinoid fell down in pieces on the ground, but it still tries to retaliate with its roots and vines to try and harm the people that are fighting against them. However, the roots and the vines were burned by his flames dominantly. “We did it!”

Rayna exclaimed happily which she and the others were cheering for their victory, while Kohaku sighed in relief at the fact that they defeated the skinwalker. They reverted back into their human forms, in order to prevent their true identities from being revealed. “We won... finally...” Kohaku said, watching him coughing a smoke from his mouth before he cursed. “You bastard...”

He glared at them for what they’ve done to him, they ruined his plan to destroy this city through bioterrorism but they stopped him; especially Kohaku--his own victim who have finally defeated him. “Kayana...” he muttered, making everyone step back from him. “No,” Kohaku spoke up, he stared at him with his unfazed and unafraid gaze as he spoke to his former perpetrator. “This was the right thing to do, Professor… no... Rihan Pratama, now that you taken over Reinhardt's body..."

Rihan listens to him, before he scoffed. “After everything I’ve done to you all? Give me a break, I made you suffer because all of you are worthless specimens, and I thought it would be easier to manipulate,” he said with a smirk, his gaze was tired but still strong despite of being defeated. “Kayana... you still haven’t forgotten what I did to you, remember that?”

Kohaku narrowed his eyes at his question, of course he remembered--let alone the trauma that he caused on him. Hokuri listened to him when he walk over to approach Kohaku from behind, he patted his shoulder to make sure his student is safe. "It's okay, we'll handle this," he whispered, making Kohaku nodded before he walked away from the scene with Damien and the other members of Secret Garden, heading towards the entrance of the building where their car is parked at. “I hope we’ll be seeing the end of this soon... from now on,” Kohaku murmured as he watched everything unfolds, he watched Shania waved at him with Julian and Andrew--he waved at them back as he smiled a little.

He definitely won't forget them.

Rayna look up at him as Kohaku patted her head, ruffling them that made her happy to be around him. Kahayana watched his son for a while, he was so glad that he was able to accept everything--even the fate that happened. 'Everything according to the script... that's what he said?' Damien thought, he was relieved that Kohaku managed to execute it well.

The celebration party for the New Year was set into motion after two months since they’ve started their plan, there were lots of food available for everyone to eat, drinks too--but not many people drank alcohol considering it’s New Year. The declaration is in the nightclub in the downtown of Ubud, the party wasn't restricted and is available for anyone, as long they are 18 years old or above for entrance. "Kohaku, didn't grab some drink already?"

Byakuya asked, seeing him sitting on the stool. "Nah, I'm okay. How about you?" he asked, seeing Byakuya sitting next to him and having a rest after playing his time with the rest of his friends. "I can't handle champagne, the taste is tolerable if there's ice and no sugar but I tried wine and it still tastes bitter to me," the purplish-black, fair-skinned and light violet-eyed Japanese assassin responded with his arms folded. The Indonesian assassin hummed, before he folded his arms. "I'm going to check Kiryu, seriously he made Kyouka had to babysit him for the umpteenth time," Byakuya said, standing up from the tool and patted his shoulder with a nod.

Kohaku sighed softly when he was sitting on the stool at the bar, watching his friends as he was thinking about a lot of things while he was sitting there quietly. "You're not joining them?" Hisato asked him, the former is in his standard suit as he sits next to him. "Not that much, but I like to have this kind of moment to sober myself up and just hang on with them. "But... thank you for asking about me."

Hisato nodded, before he scrunched his eyebrows. "Be thankful that Damien was the one who saved you instead of us, otherwise your ass will be rotting away in jail now--or worse," he joked with a chuckle, before he look back at him. Kohaku laughed a little when listening to him, he still thought that now being a member of the assassins and still needed a lot more trainings and experience before the ultimate skills of theirs showed to the fullest, having the same skill as 'the strongest sword in their organization' sounds interesting if that was counted.

He looked at the clock on the wall and look back at the crowds who are still dancing in a wave by the music and having fun, Damien approached Kohaku and Hisato at the bar counter, holding the glass of wine in his hand. "Not joining the fun?" Kohaku heard his question, but he shook his head. "I have other things to do tonight anyway."

"Come on, you have to join the fun," Damien insisted, before Kohaku groaned and stood up from his stool. Hisato smirked a little as he gave him a meaningful smile on his face--Kohaku narrowed his eyes, not budging to argue with the Administrator he placed in his highest priority that now they're just close friends and partners. "It's almost midnight already, we're having a countdown here at Ubud. You need to cheer yourself up too," Hisato agreed, prompting him to join them. He began to think for a moment, before he smiled a little. "Alright, fine... but it's not because of what Hisato said to me, it's not like that."

"Sure it's not, kid," Hisato said, gently elbowing his side as they went to join the rest of his allies-turned-friends. "Kayana," Sherry called him, suddenly wrapping her arms around his neck while pulling him in. "Is something wrong, Sherry?" Kohaku asked, after Sherry pulled him to face him. His eyes widened, but instead of showing his surprised expression--he put on his usual poker face and shrugged his shoulders. "You're quite less romantic than someone I meet before," he joked, about his jokes before he pulled her away. "Come on, let's wait for the countdown. At least, my friends deserve to know that."

Kyouka and Radjasa approached Sherry, asking whether Kohaku was making her angry before she chuckled. Kohaku turned around to see her expression, which leads to Sherry smiling casually. "Look, the countdown is beginning," Byakuya mumbled, his ears muffled because of the loud music playing. From 10, all of them are busy waiting for the New Year to come-come, as they counted down on themselves in each number. Rayna and Hisato's daughter Ichika also joined to accompany them, as she was excited to countdown Sherry decided to stand next to him, clinging to his arm and pulling him for a hug in the middle. "Stop hugging me, you're gonna make me choked!" he called out, but he still got hugged nonetheless.

"5..."

"4..."

"3..."

"2..."

"1..."

The countdown is finished, and everyone's cheering was heard all over the place--that means the celebration and the New Year is starting. Kohaku yelled when he was brought to the crowds and made an ocean wave with their bodies and synchronized arms--moving around in circles, his chest had a tickling feeling as if he's having so much fun and excitement with them. However, Sherry turned around and pulled Kohaku by his arm--before bringing their lips together as she threw herself onto him; but Kohaku evaded her lips before she could kiss him just yet. "Missed," he teased, which made her furious. Before it was a shock to some of them, including Kiryu with an 'eh?' kind of expression. "Just kiss Kiryu, he's a cat boy anyway," he teased her, a wicked smirk growing wider on his face.

Sherry's face softened with a pout, the disappointment appeared in her face and it made Kohaku want to laugh. "Just kidding, you're flirting too much anyway," Kohaku told her, his words is actually a hint to calm down and calm her flirtatious expressions in public. "You know me so well, Kayana... just kiss me," she giggled, before she decided to kiss his cheek. Kiryu decided to take a little step, chuckling when Sherry ended up kissing his cheek for fun. "EEEKKK!!!"

Kiryu shrieked like a cat, before he fainted and landed down--he was knocked off cold and asleep on the floor. "N-Nya... Sherry kissed my cheek... It made me flustered-nya... NYA!"

Kohaku could just laugh at what Kiryu stated because of his reaction was adorably hilarious and honest, he tried to tell himself not to cry because of laughing too much--but he failed after he burst out a laugh. Sherry shake her head at him, before she grinned. "You're not getting away with this, don't forget I still owe you, Kayana," she whispered to him, letting go of her grip of his hand and winked at him.

There was a brief look in his eyes, before he froze on the spot.

"No thanks."

“I’m waiting for my holiday allowance…” Hifumi said with a pout, staring at the dance floor while Kaname was standing beside him. “We already got one yesterday, just like what Master and Madame promised,” he told him, making Hifumi whined as he leaned back on his chair. “I’m literally twenty-seven years old, how did I forget things so easily?! I’m not old, my behavior that is!”

Kaname rolled his eyes, folding his arms. “Stop whining, old man… we’re… just getting started.”
