Chapter XXV: Intertwining Fates

*ೃ༄

Hokuri watched the three Dharma-class Phantom Beasts were inside their respective subject rooms, it must be separated to prevent any bloodshed from these serpents in case they became enemies. The Indonesian and foreign scientists were observing the strange Phantoms through the observatory windows, seeing their behaviors or if there's any changes in their activities. He grinned happily that he's quite successful with these specimens, he always wanted to 'adopt' them no matter what it is. "Hello, three of you..." he greeted them, his golden eyes glowed to them, staring directly at him and moving their bodies a little and hissing. "Come on, don't be a bitch! I fed you with those nasty bores."

Brahmana stared at Shivada, hissing at them as their communicative sounds replied Shivada by hissing back. 'This lab is suffocating, unable to breathe properly like the one back to homeland' Vishnuda said, with their tongue flickering to the air while growling. 'But, these people are interesting. I never thought I would see a human who can calm me down that easily...'

"Prof, what did they say?" Aliyah asked with a frown, tilting her head in confusion. Professor Hokuri adjusted his glasses, leaning forward slightly. "...Shivada's question to us: This lab is suffocating, they can't breathe properly like the lab they have in homeland."

Hifumi tsk-ed, crossing his arms while giving a concerned expression. "Damn, it's getting a bit suffocating here because of them. But you should consider yourself lucky, Mister Beasties. We already give you the best hospitality you can ever receive, at least you could be thankful about the result," the blonde-haired man snapped as the beast hissed at him.

But Brahmana doesn't seemed to share the same sentiment, instead Brahmana was understanding and compassionate towards the Phantom Beasts. For a moment, they wondered whether they had a shared vision, seeing the world and its humans the same way. Professor Hokuri stood up suddenly, he pushed his glass to the bridge of his nose and coughed to get their attention. "Alright, how are you doing, Shivada?" he interacted to Shivada first (because he's the most dangerous one among the three serpents).

Shivada stretched their tails and slowly turned to him, licking his bottom lip--hungry. "You need to feed the beast with more Phantom Beasts before you interact with them," Professor Hokuri advised as he turned his sight towards the scientists who prepared the restrained Vipralopa-class Phantom Beasts, waiting for their command. Shivada growled hungrily and rushed towards the cage quickly to tear their limbs apart and gulping it like a man-eating monster--drinking their blood and swallowing their hearts like it was some delicacy for the reptiles to enjoy. "Okay, how about you Brahmana?" Hokuri spoke to the largest serpent.

When they locked their sight towards the scientist, their fangs moved and revealed their jaws. Brahmana was calm and rational, but can be strong in times of crisis and protecting their species. Not like Shivada and Vishnuda, who have less patience and always expressed their lust for violence, or at least that's what they thought at first.

"It's really hard to beat the Professor when it comes to these things," Kaname muttered, turning his sight towards the beasts.

Senju took his notes and documents for more research purposes as he jotted down the notes--he was gathering data on how to approach the three beasts with their observations and interactions, he was immersed at how lenient these beasts have once they knew they met a friendly person and treated as a 'tamed' being. 'Hokuri Deinukai... I've never thought I can see such amazing person beside Aliyah Taslim and Hifumi Kujou, he's pretty interesting as well. Just like they are,' he thought, continuing his note session while the others assisted the research to tame these beasts.

Brahmana opened their mouth, revealing their tongues again as the snakes hissing sound released from them, showing their displeasure towards the current space of the room. 'I never thought I could see such interesting humans. They remind me of our kind, respectful but caring--yet they try to tame us, it's amusing though' Brahmana said, Hokuri gasped as he was in awe. Senju stared at Hokuri with a perplexed look, slightly tilt his head in confusion and concern. Brahmana's eyes shrunk in amusement, along a rumbling sound coming from their mouth; making the creature hissed. 'Those rains smell sweet. Your land smells sweet, sweet land. Inhumane sweet, green land, dirty sweets land of beasts.'

Hearing Brahmana's response, Hifumi and Kaname were just silent until one of the scientists are going to present the report to them. "The fuck," Hokuri whispered with puzzled and fucked-up expression, holding his notepad as he's writing down everything from Brahmana's communicative statements to them. "Vishnuda, how about you?" he asked, the other beast let out a dark growl to greet him. 'It's been a long time since we entered this abode. But yet, they were quite interesting and humble. Perhaps, perhaps that it might a lovely idea... You bring food to satisfy our thirst... They seem a bit... A bit... Fragile!' Vishnuda hissed at him, flickering their tongue all over the glass.

It was enough for them to know the answer.

But when it comes to Shivada--the most malicious of the three Dharma-class Phantom Beasts, Hokuri is awed by the beast and he never been this excited for days, and seeing an absolutely remarkable creature like them was his dream once he had a chance to travel through the realms and dimensions, no matter what it is. 'Fuck you, Vishnuda...' Shivada hissed, earning an eyebrow-raise from Aliyah who was on standby behind Hokuri.

"Are they hermaphrodite?" Hifumi asked, leaning against the table while his face filled with a mischievous grin. Hokuri facepalmed as he shook his head, trying his hardest not to burst into laughter. 'Humans, we don't have reproductive organs in our body. Every time there are only males, or females, that means there are no reproducing phase' said Brahmana, with Shivada and Vishnuda growled in agreement--or not. Senju wrote this information and wrote a sentence, with his pen on the tablet. "They doesn't have a reproductive phase," he whispered.

"By the way, Professor Hokuri, what is Brahmana's other names?"

Lastier asked him curiously, which he seems unfazed by the mention of their other aliases. Alda was curious as well, since these three were de facto 'rulers' of Phantom Samsara. "Brahmana? Well, I haven't learned about their other names but... they have a title known as 'The Creator', 'Marquis of Serpents', or the 'Noble One'," Professor Hokuri mumbled as he was skimming through the reports he obtained from the other scientists-who are his assistants.

He adjusted his glasses, and his golden-colored eyes sparkled with happiness when he found the sample results of both Shivada and Brahmana. "Shivada's title is known as 'The Destroyer', 'Master of Venom', and 'The Executioner'. As for Vishnuda, their titles are 'The Preserver', 'Devourer of Giants' and lastly 'Connoisseur of Violence'."

The three large serpents were still circling around each three of the Banyan Tree, marking them as their territory and hissing while they hear more stories about their titles which they hated a lot. "Unfortunately, they do not give a shit about their titles and hated it since it made their species scared and nervous of their appearance. Now, as we know the more that we knew about these serpents, we already have found the key for that tragedy. Especially the Phantom Eruption, these Dharma-class are not responsible since they ruled the the 'entirety' of Phantom Samsara."

Hokuri shrieked when Brahmana nudged their mouths at his face like a puppy, making them surprised, it seems like they wanted to let these people to get accustomed to their presence, rather than fearing their appearances--and so Vishnuda and Shivada decided to do the same thing. He never thought of this, now he felt bad that he's not petting them back--but he remembered that their actions still remain animalistic when they're around strangers and Phantom Beasts under their league. Hokuri ordered the scientist to open the window and the serpent's head nudging closer at his face, giving him a slit eye look. The scientists released them from their restraints, slowly opening the window a little--while still protecting him from getting eaten by the serpents.

Alda stared at the three serpents, intrigued by the giant snakes. She patted Shivada with her husband, surprising them a little as it rested its head with their mouth close--purring softly to them. 'That's their behavior if there's a tamed and friendly figure,' thought Hokuri. "These three are pretty extraordinary," Alda said, before Vishnuda being petted by Kayla and Aliyah. "You'll get used to it."

Vishnuda tilted their head as its tongues flickering to their skins. Aliyah smiled, she seems having a new bond with the snake and pets them as its head lowered.

During the seminar...

Lastier observed Hokuri's seminar who was standing on top of the podium, he was seen presenting the issue to the Indonesian and foreign audience including some of the government officials and important figures while in the ballroom hall at Trilaksana Organization about Phantom Eruption (and they have to bring the three Phantom Beasts of Dharma-class with their permission) on the main hall of the research building in Denpasar, Bali.

He was surprised by the audience who took their research's notes to write them down perfectly in the seminar. "This is Brahmana," Professor Hokuri introduced the large serpent as he motioned for them to come. "Even we did a bit of behavioral treatment for this one and they got attached to us--Brahmana will remain calm and stay quiet if you wouldn't make them angry. You can take a photo of them, but don't touch this part," he continued, patting Brahmana's head as he pointed at their tail that curled instinctively.

As the scientists came closer to take photos with the large beast--Brahmana stared and opened their mouth as the scientists quickly went out of their way while dodging Brahmana's fangs which opened widely. The audience who are science college students, lecturers, researchers and scientists (which involved all academic fields including business, health and even law field) gasped as the silence and the tension arose before he spoke again.

"What you see here are the large serpents with the size of five meters high, maybe bigger-in case you wondering what the average size of these beasts are."

Professor Hokuri spoke while holding his microphone, while he showed the other large serpents. "And, this is Vishnuda, it is docile and somewhat passive-aggressive. Do not anger them if you don't want them to be violent and out of control. They still behave, but with a certain trigger; don't poke their tail."

He continued, motioning Vishnuda to curl on their side. "Lastly, this is Shivada, this one is has a high level of voracity and bloodthirsty behavior, so try to be careful and don't touch it unless I give you my permission to do so. The serpents didn't get interested in us that much and leaving us be without any worries--but, whatever we did seems to pull their emotional connection towards us. We learned that the largest serpents only has large body and height that reached Big Ben."

Alda was smiling at them, seeing the three large serpents behaving while surrounded by their own experts; she always make sure these three Dharma-class Phantom Beasts won't hurt people in the area or giving them trouble. Meanwhile, Brahmana lifted their heads and roared aloud to the ceiling, staring straight to the audience below which made the crowd flinched with an incredible interest and fascination despite being so intimidating by its aura alone.

"No worries, they just burped."

Professor Hokuri spoke again, the people are laughing along with him before they resumed their silence. "Okay, now that's a demonstration of Brahmana's actions--so that we got through this immediately."

Hokuri gestured Brahmana to lie down in the proper manner after taking a few photos with a click-sound from the cameras and phones, before heading to the podium. "Don't worry, they'll stay quiet and won't bother anybody as long as they're not in danger. We have the permission to keep these Phantom Beasts from the Indonesian government and the United Nations, in case you didn't know. The majority of scientific communities are having a difficult time to transport and keep these beasts under their facilities, thanks to the government and organization's help. This will be interesting and a great opportunity for all of you to understand a new dimension and even have a deeper understandings."

Shivada was flicking their tail, revealing their long rows of fanged spikes. It hissed and coiled tightly around its body, before facing towards the audiences. It seems that they enjoyed the attention as they let out the series of clicking sounds, their tongue flickering from inside their jaws.

Vishnuda… they would flail wildly with their fangs that stuck up, slashing at nothing with their spikes--their mouth also has sharp boney ridges as a row of teeth inside their mouth and their tails with rows of small-jagged bladed ridges that reminded them of spines of a large porcupine than a common serpent.

Brahmana, they just hissing with peace while Professor Hokuri was gesturing them to curl on their side and stay at their place.

"Yeah yeah, Brahmana is the spoiled baby they are."

Hokuri retorted, scratching the beast's chin which it roared with a happy purr. Also, the kids seems to take a liking on the beasts (all thanks to the educational department and the Board of Directors has a good plan in mind), some of them (mostly teenagers) tried to pet the three large snakes but it startled the scientists when they saw the Phantom Beasts were just watching the kids caressing their heads. One of the kids wanted to sit on top of the armored scales of Vishnuda while their parents asked if they don't mind, Professor Hokuri stared at the large serpent who communicate with him first: 'Our children like to play on our armors too, like a kid back to homeland who enjoys playing on the thorn bushes to have fun. But with proper guide, we shall not involve ourselves and hurting their feelings to gain an absolute support.'

Before Vishnuda nodding at the kids who are calling it 'Uncle Visha'--even though it sounds hilarious--he never expected Vishnuda to treat them with kindness. The kid smiled, by asking him how they managed to control the three beasts despite of their attitude towards humans. And, Professor Hokuri replied. "Persistence, Patience and Understanding."

"Okay, don't hurt these children."

Professor Hokuri ordered them, pushing his glasses to the bridge of his nose as he nodded to Vishnuda in assurance. He already got their trust, and the Phantom Beasts nodded and bow down like in acceptance. The other kids also hugging Shivada who was resting silently, even though they thought Shivada was going to kill them--they never expected the serpent was just warming up to them by nudging at their skins as if to give them a 'friendly' welcome. Brahmana licked a lot of kids who scratched its head and back, but then Alda patting Brahmana--leaning their head in gentle, rubbing their neck as the Phantom Beast hissing softly to her. Vishnuda coiled, trying to nudge the beast as their tails wrapped around each other as if communicating with some kind of 'counseling' scenario (whatever it is).

After his seminar...

The three serpents were trained on how to be 'gentle'--if they learned that their true nature and appearances was getting the negative public perception, which it means they need a lot of changes that the scientists should do in order to make the people sees them in a different light--actually understanding the creatures. Brahmana leaped towards the lake and it took no seconds before it flopped down, rolling up its tail. Vishnuda looked completely upset and bored as it was held by multiple veterinarian on purpose to feed them on the necessary nutrients and medications. While Shivada busy eating the dead Phantom Beasts, Hokuri petted Vishnuda's head to keep them calm and quiet. "Hey, it's okay. My men are here to help you," he told them, with his co-scientist making a notes and research about the species of their biologies and what are the weaknesses of the three Phantom Beasts, though from what he seen in his notebook--he learned that Shivada's voracity is never ending, Brahmana always showing its fascination towards the nature and Vishnuda seem a bit clingy and clingy if they like someone, sometimes being a little hardheaded once in a while.

Brahmana popped up behind the scientists, spurting a huge torrent of water while hissing excitedly. "Oh come on, what the hell!" Hokuri yelled. These three beasts are really needed for his patience. 'Calm down, treat them like they're your own sons... n-not literally,' Professor Hokuri thought. "Fucking hell, Brahmana..." he mumbles before the creature lowered its head, gently patting him--trying to brush their sharp head against his black short hair with long bangs. "How was it?" Senju asked, staring at him in uncertainty. "They're difficult creatures to manage," he grumbled as he wrote some notes. But overall, Vishnuda learned to have patience and remain quiet most of the time, Shivada learn to control their tendency to eat like a madman and Brahmana learn that it's important to have 'fun'.

This novel's true home is a different platform. Support the author by finding it there.

Hokuri ordered his junior scientists to bathe these three serpents, good gracious their scent of death was getting more and more unbearable, it's a miracle that the scientists don't smell like those three's rotting scents. "Vishnuda, calm down, dude!" Rara yelled in irritation, Aliyah laughing softly as she witnessed them being rinsed and scrubbed clean like a common household snake.

Suddenly they were attacked by Shivada's powerful water hit, wiping out the entire researchers' station and soaked them from top to bottom with the waters they spurted. "Shivadaaaaa," Hokuri snarled in annoyance, trying to stop Vishnuda from attacking. In the end the scientists just accepted their fate while Hifumi was angry and shouting profanities in Japanese, Kayla was patting his back as a comfort--Senju was dry but his pen has been in damp condition as he's the only one without any wet cloth.

Brahmana licked their maw, purring by the taste of the meat. Shivada was so fucking thrilled into their treats even Vishnuda was hungry as fuck, or are they? It sounds like a 'human' noises but unfortunately it never knew how to speak, other than the hisses and growls. "Alright, alright, stay still," Hokuri spoke to them, and the large three immediately stopped making feral noises as the human petting the top of their head and their scales. Then they laid down and let the human cleaned their eyes and throat along the gills, including their back length along their tails.

"I heard some kids in my seminar called you 'Uncle Visha'," Hokuri teased Vishnuda, making them growled and hissed at him. Unbelievable that they like the pets and so does the scientists, just like to ensure them that there's nothing to fear from these creatures anymore. "Come on, they liked you," he admitted as he pets them gently, like a mother cat tending her kittens. Brahmana was envious because it doesn't get to become 'Uncle Brahm' but instead become 'Uncle Mana', even Shivada ended up nicknamed 'Uncle Shina'--which makes it sound like a nickname from a cute, little girl.

Soon, the three serpents fell asleep around the artificial lake in their 'sacred' environment, with the scientists treating them and taking care of them as their subject so they won't disappear like what happened in the past. Hokuri watched the three of them with such dedication he have towards these creatures, as they resting on each of their side. Kaname was observing the situation and he sighed, he muttered. "The professor was already sleeping."

Few hours later...

The three serpents were back in the lab, they became docile and behaved in the tranquility as they saw the humans that they befriended. The serpents entered the pen they made to keep an eye on them to their interactions with people, while they can now interact well with the scientists--sometimes they met Lastier once and his wife even interacting with them made them curious on these foreigners and interesting ones. Alda was walking towards them while they were resting, she petted the largest serpent who had quite the most calmer behaviors than their counterparts.

They only trusted Hokuri, the scientist and Deputy Secretariat General of Trilaksana Organization who made them relaxed and made everyone have a friendly look into the beasts, Alda stood in front of the pen while the serpents were looking at her with slit eyes and their tongues flickering at them. Brahmana let out a short hiss, the female officer looked down with a smile. 'These three beasts are intriguing. From what my husband said, they are still being an outsider to our reality, they prefer Phantom Samsara as their home since those were created because of the Devas, and they ended up not living a peaceful life. But, when they're in human world... they became the main attraction people sees,' she thought.

Shivada and Vishnuda turned their heads towards Brahmana before they talked together with them; it sounded like an interesting discussion as the large snake was nodding to their statements, while the smallest of the three was curious why their elder was angry about something. Alda sat on the chair with Lastier as she's watching the snake being 'talkative' towards them. 'Phantom beasts have their own lifespan, or more likely that they didn't mind about it since it gave them all the best things.'

"They always conversing about random stuff," Hokuri said, watching the three of the serpents hissing and hitting their bodies on the floor. Alda was understanding them through their sounds. 'Brahmana is very thoughtful and yet cunning as their roles. It seems like they are... the ruler of the land of Phantom Samsara... but they don't like being considered as a powerful entity by other Phantom Beasts under their ranks. They are merciful yet, witty. But, Shivada being the hostile one is pretty fearsome if things get rough, and Vishnuda being the bravest of these three is the greatest gift from their kind. Just like our first encounter on these three, Hokuri really being too soft on these creatures even they have their own quirks,' Alda thought, her husband watched her with a gentle smile as she looked at Shivada who was calm with Hokuri allowing them to slither towards him.

Lastier patted his wife's shoulder, making Alda glanced at him. "Finally, we can enjoy our 'sleep'..." Lastier muttered, causing her to be flustered. "Lastier, not in here!"

"Get a room, both of you!"

***

"Alright, time to test your wits against these Vipralopa-class Phantom Beasts!"

Hokuri announced, he want to see how strong these three Dharma-class serpents are when they're in the island. Brahmana hisses at the restrained Vipralopa-class Phantom Beast--known as Padishah, he want to test Brahmana first because they have a strong offensive power than the other two serpents. "It's normal, Prof. They are different from Shivada and Vishnuda since they are not much of a war maniacs like them," Hifumi explained, waving his hand, Senju wrote this information to his notepad that he used. "Indeed, what Mister Hifumi said. Aggressive yet ruthless, Shivada was born to rule and reign terror," Kaname added as he focused his gaze at his colleague, then turning to the beast.

Brahmana watched the beast unleashed from its shackles, before they roared ferociously to the serpent. The scientists in labcoat are observing this scene, preparing their notepads and documents and tools in order to tame the Phantom Beasts. 'Stay put,' the serpent hissed with its tongue flickered while Padishah was attacking them with such power--releasing the ball of flames towards them while Brahmana effortlessly retaliates and launched themself upwards. 'So, this little one is going to challenge me, little beastling is about to feast well!' Brahmana snarling and drooling with venom, releasing a blue fiery colored sphere that slammed the Padishah. The Padishah threw the fire spears at the giant serpent, who took no damage despite the explosion impact as they landed to the ground on their fours.

"The fuck, they are strong as fuck," Hifumi whispered.

Brahmana opened their jaw wide, before another series of explosive fiery bombs flew towards the Phantom Beast--stunning them as the blast continued and consumed the Padishah with fiercer intensity and the scorching temperature. Brahmana slowly slithered towards it with the smoke still smoldering away, tilting their head as the Padishah is still in conscious. Before they launched an explosive assault, while slashing the clawed appendage-covered the Phantom Beast with its powerful and stronger attack.

Hokuri watched the Padishah being devoured, gulping in nervousness. "Yup, this is it..." he muttered, before he shouted. "It's your turn, Vishnuda! Don't hold back!"

Vishnuda watched the other Vipralopa-class Phantom Beast known as Assaka appeared while being released from the restraints, the serpent's passive-aggressive hiss seems a bit familiar to anyone's ears, even Lastier doesn't know how to describe the sight. 'Rather hungry, I say. Would you rather feed or be fed upon by a creature such as myself?' the Dharma-class beast spoke, before launching a pounce towards the Phantom Beast. Hokuri's eye is on them, letting them fight without the use of outside assistance.

Assaka's appearance is similar to the mythical monsters, and resembles like some kind of praying mantis. The boney shell contains the same dark colors of both crimson red and bluish black, along the black-colored parts. It has a pair of pairs on their limbs and has an enormous wings on its back. Then it spread its wingspan and let out a roar, jumping straight to ambush Vishnuda in surprise.

Vishnuda's face revealed a terrifying visage of a true predator, growling and opened their mouth, letting out a corrosive spores to incapacitate their opponents. The phantom beast shrieked when their shell got molten and melted, before launching towards them with four sharp pointed arm-shaped appendages. But in the last minute, Vishnuda pierced its scaled armor by its fangs and ripped its head apart--taking the victory once more.

"Next, Shivada! Give it all you got!"

Shivada turned their head to see Padisarah--one of the well-known Vipralopa-class Phantom Beasts present before their eyes, the serpent growled at the creature as its voracity never ended. The Padisarah was famed for its thick armor, massive body, and their strength. Despite that it faced against one of the three Dharma-class serpents, instead the beast attacking and pinning the snake down--hoping to paralyze their movements. Shivada growled as they bit down on its armor, clawing the other with their lethal claws--snapping its fangs against the Vipralopa with a vengeful roar.

While it uses its arm as sharp extensions to slice the snake open and blasting explosive spheres towards it, hoping to take down the larger serpent down--it failed when Shivada used its form to trample the adversary. 'You are a fool. You dare fight someone like me, rather pathetic...' Shivada snarled, before their throat was widened with the fangs protruding like a porcupine.

Furling its own and leaping upward in a quick span, smacking the creature back down and proceeded to maul the creature open as they tried to rip their flesh and bones. It let out a haunting screech before its neck and body tore apart, licking the venom on their fangs. 'Foolish, arrogant, and cocky, such easy targets for your own foolish act of crime and arrogance towards your own fellow brethren,' their glowing red eyes with yellow-ish shade with a sinister grin as they devoured the Phantom Beast, like their two predecessors and the next ones in line.

Hokuri kept reminding that with the Dharma-class beasts had many sub-types of powers, either aggressive like Shivada, or passive like Brahmana, or destructive like Vishnuda and much more they had; they are indeed a fascinating and powerful creatures to be seen. But the difference was their personality traits, he had gathered information from the myths and legends revolving around them. "Damn, Shivada is the most brutal and savage one of the Dharma-class. Meanwhile Brahmana is calm yet wise and tactical, Vishnuda always active and enthusiastic and prone to stress," he explained, before he let out a yawn.

Hokuri facepalmed when Shivada slithered towards him as the large serpent brought a dead corpse before the people, he smiled and scratched his hand on their scaled skin gently. Aliyah was working in the research while studying the serpents, these creatures are truly powerful beasts compared to any species. She tested the poison that Shivada has, a black-purple colored goo on the flask and when she find out the type of the toxin--it was similar to tetrodotoxin. She thought maybe this toxin is extremely destructive and might be a dangerous weapon, but a non-deadly weapon--since it just paralyze the victim and only resulting the muscles got weakened and a shortened breathing, but their other symptoms are unidentified and need more researches.

"Open your jaws, Brahmana."

Brahmana opened their jaws, their teeth and fangs are observed. Then Hifumi presented the other Vipralopa-class Phantom Beasts he captured (yes, he did) including the demonic beasts, and this makes things not simple as the scientists had done. "Alright, close them. Vishnuda, open your mouth," Brahmana opening and closing their jaw while Vishnuda is doing the same, and same goes with Shivada, their scientists are amazed by these creatures but there's a small factor. "Fuck, their breath is so rancid..."

They retorted on how he should keep these creatures' oral cavities clean and hydrated, the amount of their saliva still the same as it is. Hokuri had to use a prototype toothpaste for Phantom Beasts to help them prevent their malignant teeth and their long tongue. After a while, there's more information on how each fangs are truly different from the another, Shivada's teeth are lethal and could easily pierce through hard materials with moderate strength. "Bite this," the professor said, holding the large metallic plate.

The power of Shivada's bite is so strong that it immediately piercing through the metallic plate and left a large bite mark imprint on it. Brahmana's bite is nearly about the same but slow as it takes time for them to crush the metal. It happened because Brahmana is not like an angry beast, but it is still a beast nonetheless. Vishnuda's bite is the strongest, at the same speed as Shivada but very lethal and the amount of their venomous saliva is a disaster because if a human consuming it, they'll have to hold their organs to prevent them from an excruciating death.

"Each three serpents has immunity to any diseases due to their biochemistry composition in their genetic formula and biological structure," Hokuri explained in full scientific manner while showing the data on their bodies to the Trilaksana Organization, while the scientists wrote the report of him presenting the data.

"For example, Brahmana is immune against any ailment and disease because they consumed corpses as their main source of food while they spend their life consuming various types of carcasses, just to maintain their strength because of their unique metabolism since most serpents survive under cold environment or hot, depending on their preference and natural habitats. Surprisingly, they were adapting easily in heat and icy environment as long they consuming the right food and resources they need in daily life, since they were borned from the lake of Phantom Samsara."

"Shivada's resistance on disease and infection is through their powerful defensive power as they can withstand numerous injuries that inflicted by their own powerful attacks and it seems they were taking necessary precautions by consuming carcasses with a high levels of immunity from previous victims. Vishnuda is the most curious case here, because they have unknown origins since their skeletal appearances could be adapted with terrestrial environments without severe strain and stress, which they were living peacefully around them. There are many records written and most of the myth from Indians. They are a truly remarkable creature," Professor Hokuri explained for twenty minutes and they noted every words he spoke, Lastier nodded and stared at the screen filled with graphs and statistics with detailed graphs of the three Dharma-class Phantom Beasts.

Kayla hummed, watching the three serpents were chilling inside the pool with the three Banyan trees--seeing that they were 'getting along' by hissing at each other. "Can they morph into other forms?" one of the Indonesian scientists asked, Hokuri hummed--looking at them before he folded his arms. "Other than shrinking and expanding their size... not to my awareness, why do you ask?"

Lastier sighed as his eyelids half-open, observing the three Dharma-class serpents--unlike the others it felt extremely realistic. "In case they want to 'camouflage' themselves whenever they're 'mortal' by killing anyone who could interrupt their normal livelihood and prevent an another extermination," his assistant scientist stated bluntly, the young professor frowned and tilted his head while flabbergasted by his colleagues' theory as he adjusted his glasses before raising his head at them. "Hold on, give me a sketchbook--I will illustrate them IF they had human forms, and it'll depend on your definition on 'human' because if they don't have a humanoid anatomy and more mammalian than a human itself and you know what I mean, so..."

He draw three pictures in detail, how they envisioned the creatures in human appearance. "Brahmana, look at me," said Hokuri as the giant serpent lowered their head slowly, allowing them to access the scale without scaring off the creature. The beast twitched a little, showing their approval towards them as they opened their jaws wide. "Since these serpents doesn't have reproductive organs... so they had the potential to 'copy' them, perhaps?" The man questioned the scientific hypothesis about these serpents as all answers are mostly wrong. The scientists were working their asses off by fixing the water quality or adding few plants for the Phantom Beasts, it also helped to ease their boredom for three days as they started to get used with the environment as much as it's a wonderful feeling--Alda provided some lunch for them in case they're hungry so they won't get exhausted.

Hokuri sketched Brahmana's facial structure and body, and Senju helped by giving a good sketches and measurements for his blueprints and diagrams. When they are drawing out Shivada's designs, it's time to bring out its feral persona for its potential illustrations--even Vishnuda's design is almost accurate to human drawings and measurements. "Alright, what do you guys think?" Hokuri asked, showing three humanoid-looking sketches of each Dharma-class Phantom Beasts' (un)official designs. When the scientist displayed the blueprints and portraits of the serpents on the screen, revealing their designs that his assistants requested him to finish them.

Brahmana's reaction is tame as always, like they're a master over their own strength--due to their serene behavior and solitary nature, despite the dangerous and malicious features they possesses. Shivada's features are fierce and bold--they're much larger compared to Brahmana due to their ability to manipulate their body and muscles. Vishnuda is calm--their face is a bit like Brahmana but Vishnuda is tall and intimidating compared to these two. Hokuri made a mental note that no matter who or what these serpents are--they are far from what they looks like in their 'true' form.

"What do you guys think?"

Brahmana stared at their own human sketches and designs as it turns their head towards him, revealing their eyes shining like stars--they slowly closed their jaws and slithered towards him quietly. 'Those... are us...?' they hissed at him, making him nodded.

"Yes. According to our researches and studies, we found the potential of Phantom Beasts can be used to create a 'false' human disguise when they disguised as one if they are detected by anyone without the confirmation through other scientific and newsworthy proof that they were 'their' best selves," he muttered, praying that they won't lash out against him and the others.

Vishnuda was so speechless, and confused on how Shivada nodded their head--showing their amusement at how their serpentine features displayed on a human trait but they are more intrigued to have a chance to show them in disguise. 'We can try, I guess,' Shivada said, leaning closer at the professor.

WHAT!?

His face flushed bright red and yelled in horror, the scientists were giggling at the sight--that seems like they're flirting at him in the most explicit way, then he sat on his seat and scolded the three serpents. "YOU THREE FUCKERS, DID YOU FUCKING FLIRT WITH ME!?"

It is amusing to see how these creatures had such 'humorous' personalities, especially Brahmana's ability to control the calm while the other two are either having a different dynamic--they created a unique and terrifying 'triumvirate' that will stay this way and possibly forever. 'Now now, calm down,' Brahmana purring at him softly, he scratched the creature's head--the gentle gesture calmed them for a while. 'We decided not to stay in Phantom Samsara, it's quite boring as most of the beasts there is either an aggressive, food-lusting, or dumb predators. So please, let us travel with you...' Brahmana told him with their voice in soft pitch, the other two agreed on that since they lived too long in this Phantom Samsara they are tired as fuck and wanted to go to another realm where their power can grow stronger.

Hokuri was flabbergasted by the request, but he slowly cracked a smile and leaned back against his seat before he leaned towards the microphone. "Well then... welcome to Trilaksana Organization."
