Chapter ???: Script of Paradigm

*ೃ༄

Kohaku was standing on top of the waterfall's edge during the nighttime, his bangs from his auburn hair grew longer over his magenta-red eyes and his hair grew slightly over his neckline messily. His frameless glasses shimmered by the light of the crimson moon above the skies, indicating the prophecy that has been happening recently. Now he wears a dark gray formal shirt with single unbuttoned below the collars, black long buttoned sleeveless vest-coat with a buckle around his waist and black pants tucked into his knee-length black boots. He wears a silver necklace around his neck, while he donned a black gloves. His upper sleeves were slitted and reached his mid-arms with black strings. He wore a black watch on his wrist and a locket hanging and connected to his belt, along wearing a black choker-like suspender around underneath his collars. The OUTLAW's pin sits on the vest on his chest, his dark gray long vest-coat dropped from his back and draped over his legs--flowing gently by the wind.

He has been very serious with his role as the Captain of OUTLAW--the assassin group under supervision of both Secret Garden and Indonesian shadow government, he dealt with clients who wants someone or anyone to be slaughtered. They are all supposed to protect this world, even the fact that their hidden forces has been keeping an eye over their environment after the incident, trying to build themselves up and make sure they won't live in fear. "The world... is imperfect," he muttered, staring down at his reflection in the water below. His eyes were filled with melancholy and a bit of nostalgia, there's lots of emotions in his scarred and calloused heart.

There's a man who ran away from someone in the forested area, Kohaku observed from the tree branch as his boss was waiting patiently. Kohaku jumped from above, before his chained bullwhip pierced through the neck of the unfortunate person. Crimson blood splattered from the fatal injury, making the throat is slit and caused immediate death. "That's what you get... stealing a precious item that you adored instead of the woman you loved," he spoke, before he snatched the item and grabbed it in his right hand, and crushed it into pieces as he used his powers--killing off the enemy who defies a warning made by his boss.

With just the bullwhip, the enemy cannot be run away or saved because it wrapped around the neck, no matter where he goes--he is bound to be killed slowly due to the tight wrapping, soon the bleeding is too much and left him to die in agony and panic. "Alright... time to wait for my friends..." he muttered, before he return to the edge of the waterfall--monitoring on each 'red eyes' he detected. Now that he was in charge of payroll for his team, he was able to check on their details that associated with their career as an assassins.

Another man was panting heavily while hiding from Byakuya's peering eyes and holding a katana on his hand, trying to avoid his enemies and desperately hide from it. Unfortunately, for him, Kyouka appeared behind his back before piercing his enemy's spine, and pulling it out. She have a katana in hand, and Kiryu helped her to kill off the man. Byakuya adjusted his glasses, before he goes to snatch the suitcase from the dead man thanks to them. "This syndicate keep stealing money that doesn't belong to him, to think that he has the intelligence to steal others' money--now he won't being able to repay it to the wealthiest man who hired us to deal with this..." he spoke.

Radjasa yawned after he obtained the suitcase from the dead men, while Rayna reverted back into her human form from her mecha-humanoid state as the young girl landed on the ground. "Phew... we got these documents, and finally--we can take our rewards. Thanks, Radjasa~" Rayna thanked, smiling happily. "This is the one, aren't it?"

"Yup, this is it. We'll report this to Kayana, so he can audit about it later," Radjasa spoke.

No one has ever become rich overnight without running numerous side and legitimate businesses--this is what Damien keeps in mind, whenever he deals with the crime and illegal organization. Kohaku was reading the script on his hand, which is given by both Damien and Erfan--he can see some different lines were highlighted, and he held up his own white hologram tablet on his wrist and scanning them. Kohaku smirked, somewhat fascinated and took interest.

Somehow, their perception towards justice are kind of distorted due to their own background and experiences they gained. "Huh, there's a new character... Erfan?" Kohaku asked the psychic with the goofy smile, glancing towards the young man--his ability as a 'seer' means that he can detect and know everything about someone if he managed to scan their details. "Just to warn you, you're not the only one to go against the gods of Phantom Samsara," he said with his eyes closed, speaking coldly towards him with a fake smile on his face. "Stay sharp and be ready with your wits... the World Government will come for your head..."

But Kohaku wondered; this prophecy was never predictable at all and the conflict in his heart is eating him up. "So, there's Rakshas too? I don't know much detail about these two organizations who destroyed each branches of World Government... can you tell me about them?" he asked, Erfan chuckled as his closed eyes gazing forward. "If I tell you, you will get more than you bargained, OUTLAW Captain..." he responded, in which Kohaku nodded. "I don't bargain with others unless necessary," he replied, getting interested on what was he talking about.

"... ADVENT is a faction who opposes the World Government, they are under Silver Slumbering Dragon--the organization of wanted criminals who hunted Cores of the Samsara in this world. ADVENT simply means 'arrival', true to their cause--they arrived at each corner of the world to destroy the government for the sake of saving humanity... and... Rakshas are no less a powerful opposing group to the world. They're basically freedom-driven war criminals in this world... some people referred them as 'Samsara Core Hunters', 'Devil Hunters of Hyang Seram' and 'Destiny's Slaves'. Their goals... is not fully established yet, they're very secretive in maintaining their organization and having such influence from the shadows with their resources alone. They are powerful young entrepreneurs who achieved their personal goals based on their personal experiences, some of them are from the mid-ranking social status."

Kohaku could feel the chill on his spine when Erfan talked about this particular alliance between two destructive organization, and wondered that he actually witnessed one of the incidents just happened. "They were falsely accused by the World Government because they would never bound by the rules of society and system, including the existence of the law enforcement--believes that every corrupt and criminal should be convicted for all their crimes, bringing them to the end," he concluded.

"I know the members already, we met each other recently."

Erfan heard him spoke, before he continued to the 'seer'. "Sanjaya Adinata... Indonesian; 'Garuda Raksha'. Raiden Amagiri... Japanese; 'Thunder Raksha'... Akito Kujou; American, 'Insect Raksha... Kanae Ayatsuji... American; 'Crane Raksha'..." Kohaku uttered, looking up at the sky. "Senjaya Haryadi, Indonesian; 'Binding Raksha'. Karina Wangsadinata, Indonesian; 'Heron Raksha' and lastly... Kinana, Indonesian... 'Destiny Raksha'."

Kohaku added, recalling those wanted flyers he saw almost everywhere and how he encounter them--after meeting the ADVENT's leader, Sanjaya Adinata or known as Sanju. "I don't know if their faction is really working for 'good', and also the reason to destroy the world government."

Erfan closed his eyes, there's no words coming out from the seer's mouth, he realized that the captain was deep in thoughts. From what he knows, those seven only met each other because they had a special weapon unlike other, they were so strong that they were able to go against the law, the world government--destroying an upper branch organization when they become their worst enemies and leave no survivors and notably slashed the flag of World Government as a sign of open war...

The prophesied "End of Days" when a symbolism of a golden sword stabbing the globe, is the final indication of total destruction that waits at the World Government's headquarter. One of the Silver Slumbering Dragon's members, is Erfan's twin brother--but he choose not to disclose that because it's quite obvious who he is. "What did those gods do, Erfan?" he asked, looking at the psychic. "They are the reason the portal of Phantom Samsara opened, allowing the horde of Phantom Beasts attacking each countries in no mercy, and the members of World Government try to suppress them and gain the core since it was born. Unfortunately for them, Phantom Beasts took several lives for hundreds of years-and a chaos are waiting upon them. Since they are having power, they couldn't let go their ego--wanting to seize more from this imperfect world until it breaks apart."

Kohaku clenched his fists, he heard about those Devas--a race of divine beings that have a certain humanoid appearance, ruling the heaven that sealed 'them'. And whenever someone came, 'they' was left behind and locked behind the thick crystal-like door...

Even gods have their limits, hence this is only a beginning of an endless stories and worlds he will have to witness. "Those Devas... are the ones who made the World Government into existence, these global elites... are not who they've always claimed to be. The Phantom Beasts are real, so does the divine beings," Kohaku murmured. "They do everything to achieve their goals, including spreading doctrines. No...they are the sources for how the world changed as the times passed, how they develop their civilizations after experiencing so much wars and conflicts--"

Erfan chuckled, looking at the young captain... who took responsibility in training a team full of talented assassins--they fought against Phantom Beasts during a long time, facing brutal casualties on their side and the new blood are coming to take their places. "Keep in mind that once you become the leader of this group, the decision is solely yours. Like what they said: make the world as you want to be. That means; no mercy, Kayana," he told the captain.

But, he's wondering if the Samsaras... were really the key to save the world in need from these phantom beasts.

Both Damien and Luca watched them from the window, Damien knew Kohaku was struggling but as always, he had to learn--no exceptions. He still cares, but he must be responsible for the current task given. He has to survive, Luca is also like him. "You're not going to Singapore, Dam?" Luca asked his older brother, watching him scoffed. "I don't want to be tricked by their petty business and promises they made, no offense... when I started an idea--they fucking took something from me and I had to get rid of those 'little helpers' personally, one by one. That's when I gained proper reputation in the business sector," the older brother explained, not regretting every choices he made with the determination. "Business is business, Luca. Not everything is clean, people only wanted to see the good things we've done..."

Both brothers were no less ruthless when it comes to business, they maintain and control their emotions.

Kohaku sensed that his friends were gathering behind him above the waterfall's edge, he didn't turn around because he know them. "Where's Sherry?" he asked, glancing at Kyouka--who put her hands on her hips. "Eh, she was having fun killing those motorbike gangs--wait, you didn't see her killing off their members with ease?" she asked, Kohaku narrowed his eyes--before he sensed Sherry landed on her heels to the ground across him. "Took you so long, Sher."

Sherry wrapped her arms around his right arm, chuckling nonchalantly and Kohaku growled. "Get off me, Sher..." he muttered, putting his arm away. Sherry smiled playfully at him, before she sit there quietly. "I'm busy all day, Kayana~" she chirped, Kohaku nodded as his magenta-red orbs darted at her appearance; before he look away from her to look at them. "Hold on, let me send you the payments..." he said, taking out his phone to make payment for the assigned assassins. Then, he began to announce something for them.

"From now on, we're not letting anyone entered this hideout. I don't care if you killed others and had your share of victory, or... you weren't able to obtain all the data and items you could retrieve. I'm the captain, not you guys. And I decided your roles will be re-evaluated depending on what our clients want us to do," he instructed, glaring at all of them who stared at him stoically, or remained professional for them to hear. He always strict and professional to separate his work life from his personal life, it is for the best. "Now we get rid of the syndicate that our client ordered, I want to announce about the contract, MoUs, and of course... mutual cooperation that will benefit our group," he announced, taking out two small envelopes from his vest.

The six of them watched him, they knew he's been careful when dealing with business partners or clients for the past three months--it is until their business partner has an accident and they had to cooperate with Damien. Kohaku threw the object to them, one envelope to Kiryu and Byakuya. "As our 'red eyes', you two are responsible for scouting--to avoid incoming disasters and our activities," he informed to two of them, and nodded. "Both of you will be my co-captains, when I'm unavailable--you have to fulfill our duties, you'll need this."

"Got it, cap," Kiryu affirmed while Byakuya nodded in reply.

Kohaku snapped his fingers, the flames appeared and manifested the paper filled with contract paper but individually hidden for them respectively (to prevent each party getting benefited or stealing it from other parties). He gave them time to reconsider them alone for fifteen minutes, it is the legal contract between a client and business--with fair conditions they did according to their agreement. They read the details that written within it, to ensure they will not go against what each party did in private. He sensed that they signed both of them, his friends agreed upon it.

Kohaku turn around and look up at the crimson moon, sitting down and gazing up at the night skies. The sixth member obeyed Kohaku's order, focusing on the skies with binoculars he bought recently to make sure if there's some kind of abnormalities that happening out there, Kohaku wasn't noticed that Sherry sneaking behind him and observed his actions. That was when, she sat down on the rocks behind him, only to see he didn't even acknowledge her presence.

"Captain? Why the long face?"

Sherry asked, testing his patience after she stretched her arms lazily. She gazed towards his face, he hasn't turned around but he remain silent with his figure. He just breathed the fresh air around him, his frown remained on his expression as she noticed the silence. She turn around, her wine-colored eyes over her dark brown sunglasses shimmered a little--what the fuck is he thinking? It kinda annoyed her about how he got things done with his capabilities, like he was blessed by the gods. Then, she remembered that when Kohaku became the Captain of OUTLAW--he has been carrying many responsibilities for long days.

And she couldn't remember how long Kohaku's being working on this field, but nonetheless that changed since those events happens. She was tempting to knock him into unconsciousness from the back to see how his reaction and check on him... for the sake of them to treat him as their leader--instead of a captain. So, she lean her back against his back behind him just to provoke him.

"Tell me, do you enjoy looking at the sky like that?"

Instead, she tested his patience--to see if he might act recklessly, but the other way around was Kohaku barely budge nor ignored her, it's like he wants to stay this way for a bit longer. "The night sky's shining stars and crimson moon..." he muttered, before he yelped when Sherry nudged her elbow against his side playfully. He didn't react negatively as he went on staring at the crescent-shaped blood moon, it might be a blessing to go on the moonlight and he was about to say something, until Sherry interrupted him. "Kayana, are you daydreaming or are you being you? You look..."

Kohaku yawned, before he shrieked when she put her foot on his head--causing him to snap out of his thoughts, snapping at her. "Oi! Get your dirty foot off my head!" he yelled furiously, pushing her foot away from his head and quickly stood up. "Hmph, like usual..." she teased, before she wrapped her arms around his neck and hugged him. He was about to resist, but stopped himself as he thought the reason of her sudden behavior--she's happy to see he's alright.

"Stubborn and tired of people..." she muttered, knowing the young leader tends to distance himself and stays quiet. "Everything will be alright, you're not alone you know," she assured him, Kohaku frowned a little--before he exhales deeply and wrap his arms around her waist--burying his face into her shoulder and neck. "Just shut up, Sher... you're aware I'm stressed-out already," he murmured, and Sherry could feel his nose sniffing the scent of her flowery perfume, inhaling as the flower fragrance--somehow made him feeling relaxed around her.

Kohaku closed his eyes, he didn't move and let her embrace him in comfort. Sherry sighed, as she slowly close her eyes as well. The two assassins ended up embracing each other, she traced her fingers gently along his temple and around the back of his neck, and then intertwined her fingers behind his hair. "Is it about Andrew and Shania again?" she asked, stroking his auburn streaks of his hair to keep him safe and sound with her.

He shrugged a little, not moving an inch as he explained. "I don't have problem with Andrew... we have a good terms since we're friends, but Shania? I... have moved on, she never acknowledge me for become stronger--she just keep treating me that I was still defenseless... her hypocrisy is unbearable to me," he answered, clutching onto her shoulders before leaning against the side of her neck. "I just want to repay their debt for protecting me when we were in high school, but... is this what I truly seek, though? Even though we're friends, she--" he added, making her snort.

"Now now, don't let the past and the negativity controlling your life," she whispered softly, closing her eyes. "Seek your dreams, follow the path for you only," Sherry continued, she's quite content about how much he had evolved; changing gradually until this man be someone else. He slowly broke the hug, he stared into her wine-colored eyes in contrast to his magenta-red eyes, the tone of his auburn hair reflects the lighting below. "You're quite handsome, Kayana Sahanaya Tirta," she teased, and he glanced away from her. "Not quite, but I still believe that--"

"Relax," she coaxed, putting a finger on his lips and making him blushed. "We're all together and that's what matters... you already learned about the past that you couldn't face forward, you'll be fine... captain," she said with a reassuring voice, however, she tapped on his chest and smirk. "You'll end up too tired, stress-out and exhausted if you keep doing that, not getting what you truly want. Now, let's just do our job properly--isn't that your goal?" she reminded him. "That's why I was assigned to you, remember?"

Whenever Kohaku spend some time with Sherry, there's something that have to take off his minds--a young and ruthless assassin who hides his gentle heart and kindness towards others. Kohaku nodded, brushing her light burgundy strands of her hair behind her ears, revealing her face and he couldn't help but smiling. "You silly girl, keeping an eye for me."

He caressed her smooth and firm cheekbones, and press his forehead against hers. "But, in my eyes--you're just a snobbish assassin," he replied to her, pulling away as she pouted. "Seriously?! Talking about me like that?" she scoffed, and Kohaku responded with a cocky grin--only making her wanting to kick him away from this cliff and tossed him down to the river. But, she hold back her actions because he might take it seriously and do an offense, instead of defense. "Also, try not to leech around me. I know you're playful, but you're aware if it can ruin our reputation or harm yourself," he added, turning around as he put his hands behind his back.

"Since when did I leech on you?"

Sherry asked as she glanced at him, with a curious yet enraged look on her face as her brows furrowed. Kohaku smirked, finally he can piss her off like he did before. "Fucked if I'd known."

Sherry felt a dark aura from his captain, he knew him since the earliest--Sherry can be playful, flirty and elegant at the same time which could mess up her mind and emotion; that usually happens only with Damien and now with his captain. "What did... you..." she hissed, before Kohaku was quick to move and escaped from the blow of her punch. He remained composed despite she keep coming for him to knock him out, before she laughed as she paused for a moment. "Not gonna lie, you're an extraordinary one... Kayana."

"Thanks, but the feeling isn't mutual."

She watched him as he gazed across the waterfall, standing on the ledge of the bridge connected to the railings above the cliffs. As he leaned forward his waist a bit, his wind blew his hair and the left sleeve from his vest coat--before he felt Sherry hugged him from behind, burying her face into his back. He actually know her enough to predict her action--but she wasn't so predictable at the moment. "One more step and you could have become one with the water, Captain," she teasingly warned him. He sensed how cold her fingertips traced on his right arm, but he didn't fear about her actions. The breeze of the night was soft and slightly colder to them.

Kohaku scoffed, gazing at his teammates with serious expression and a tiny smirk on his lips. "Hmph, if I fall from this cliff--at least you guys will always protect me from the shadows until you get taken down by someone else, then so be it," he teased back.

Sherry grinned at the last words. "Even so, we're working on the same team. That means, everyone's important as this group getting stronger while you're able to lead us to succeed this stage."

Kohaku nodded without a thought as he realized his reason of giving him that responsibility--a captain. And from the start, he wasn't aware that he has to be careful from the upcoming threats surrounding his group. So, he asked Damien about how to be a leader to take good care of their team; and he knew that his boss-friend was capable of helping him with that. That's when Kohaku managed to change his thought towards his responsibilities, treating them as equal and gave a good impact to them by learning from his mistake.

He sensed that she pulled away from him, before she sat down beside him and somewhat... she fell asleep on his shoulder, in which she didn't care if her sunglasses dangling a little. Their expressions were stoic and silent, and they were content to fulfill what their parents and mentors want for them to achieve and overcome their struggles. 'Sherry... since you said that you never felt a feeling of fear and always doing dangerous stunts just for your entertainment, I want to know your own definition of real fear...' he thought to himself, glancing at her longingly.

Kohaku lifted her sunglasses above her head, seeing her closed eyes as his eyes narrowed a little. 'Huh... is she crying in her sleep? I never seen her like that before... what exactly she means to me, other than a friend and assassin under my command?' he pondered in his thoughts, before reaching out his fingers to wipe her tears, his index finger brushing across her closed eyes. 'Perhaps she was having a nightmare... heh, such silly girl. Fine, I'll watch over you...'

He thought with a scoff, letting her slept as he gazed at the rest of his group talking something about him. Byakuya nodded towards him, earning his respect and attention towards them as they approached him. Kohaku gently put down her head on the edge in the cliff, having a rest from everything that has been going on. "Hey, wake up," he told her, before shaking her shoulder.

Sherry squirmed as she could feel he was patting her head, before she lazily and sluggishly lifted her hand. "Five minutes..." she cooed sleepily, and Kohaku rolled his eyes--before he nodded at Kiryu in telling him 'wake her up' through his mouth. Kiryu grinned, before he tiptoed towards her and tackled her off to a push. "WAKE UP!!" he yelled at her as she sat up with a sleepy groan, feeling a bit disturbed. Kohaku stood up, as he stared at the incoming sight from the horizon.

Kyouka rolled her eyes, standing with snickering Radjasa and Rayna walked towards Kohaku as the little girl hugged him shyly. "Sorry that they bothering you and all..." Rayna said, before Kohaku didn't say anything and brushed her dark brown hair. Byakuya sighed, folding his arms across his chest at his best friend. "Alright, what's going on here? You're suspicious," he interrogated Kohaku, and Kohaku smirked. "... I owe you all to lead me to my choice--it is to become the OUTLAW's leader," he explained, and Radjasa could see he was mature and aware of his actions. "Everything will be fine, you can see the dawn when I'm coming to inspect their hideout," Kohaku advised them, tapping on his black umbrella on his hand.

Few hours later...

Kohaku was reading the script for a moment--until he suddenly having a vision of 'past lives' from each ADVENT members from his first meeting with Sanju, like it was a déjà vu--he closed his eyes, then nodded. Kohaku could predict their behavior and their attitude within weeks of knowing their traits, however his deduction skill isn't that exact from analyzing the weaknesses--but enough to describe their strength. He saw the past life of Sanju in his vision and somewhat almost looks like him but different, where he saw the man has a black scruffy and messy hair with long bangs, burning-red eyes and fair complexion--with his signature smirk. Unlike this life, he's so serious and calm... more cold-blooded. His attire consists of black turtleneck shirt and black long high-collared coat, black pants tucked into his thigh-high strapped dark gray boots with back heels. His right hand holding a katana-like weapon with white, black, and red handle with light gold hilt, the blade is shimmering red and his left hand holding a black-gold flintlock pistol resembling antique design with golden spider on the front. His eyes are having two red-tinted lenses on them which is his shades--his fingers have black gloves and has black upper cape over his shoulders.

The man was seen standing in the city filled with flames, unlike Sanju--this man has a rather elegant and gentleman way of battling. His sword sliced through his enemies, felling several men with slash and stab, his pistol mercilessly annihilated anyone who stood across him. "Wearing fake smiles just hides your inner feelings, try to face them as yourself to gain trust," the man warned them, shooting a purple cloudy gas on them and it spread it to kill them. Kohaku lifted his eyebrows when he saw that; a deadly poison cloud just like Akito's poisonous mist. It is lethal, a strange weapon that not to be underestimated.

The man encountered the other man who Kohaku assumed to be... his own past life, surprisingly the man also similar to Kohaku but much more 'serious' than him. The fair-skinned individual has a crimson-red short hair with long bangs over his amber-colored eyes and cheeks, he wears a black formal shirt underneath his dark blue vest and white tie--along black pants tucked into his knee-length black boots. He wears a dark blue trench coat and a pair of frameless glasses, he wears a black gloves, a small silver-colored ribbon at each golden chain bracelets on his wrists.

"I'm not here to fight against my enemies, but to fight and protect my friends, for the sake of new world order, with us."

Those two men appeared to be allies rather than enemies, both of them are working with each other without letting down their guards down. The first man hummed, before he let out a twisted yet small smirk. "Is that so, my friend? Being yourself while fighting against an enemy is only an illusion, we're becoming shadows for a greater good. You and I must shed everything and become a single person and face reality, not running away from it."

Kohaku also saw another vision on how these two recruit their own allies individually without breaking that one trust to join together in the same objective. However, there are some 'divine' figures floating in the mid-air--witnessing the new era they create as a revolution. Until, they realized that these people began to rebel against the god--that is so unthinkable, why? For such... ideal world? Just to be free from the current order and be against the wrath of the gods by their own will? Then, everything shattered like broken glass in those visions, Kohaku saw Kyouka slapped him across his cheek. "Hey, wake up! Wake up!" she exclaimed in irritation, Kohaku regained his consciousness as he rubbed his cheek. "God... are you okay, Captain?"

Kohaku blinked, looking around as he trying to remember what happens when he was having those visions. "Sorry... I had a vision, a vision that will keep coming until we manage to defeat them," he muttered. "I saw several memories of those guys from the past life, how the world slowly changed with violence and corruption taking advantage of this world that wasn't even supposed to be like that... then, there's divine figures who appears to be... Devas? Yeah, they established a rule that no one shall break the laws under their command. However, things have changed... I believe that vision that shows the two men with their allies--happens to be metaphor of Raksha and Tiryags with their allies to defend humanity for their freedom."

The six of them are beginning to take a lot of realization and interest of Kohaku's deductions, they knew Kohaku was serious for them. "Those Devas came and slaughters anything from the Samsaras and let the Phantom Beasts take control on those bubble worlds to gain more power, allowing them to change the destiny and 'enforce the law', their main goal is making these flawed humans for what they've became," Kohaku added. "I knew you all have been briefed about Phantom Beasts and those Devas already, so you're not here because you chose to be."

"Ahahaha, you talk too much when you had that creepy face, Kayana."

Kohaku glared at Sherry because he kept her quiet, he turned his attention to them. "Anyways, I think it has something to do outside this world... because there might be people who look like us in the bubble universes, they're not aliens--they're the counterparts of us," he said, recalling the golden figure that had similar faces as them with the Samsaras. "And without us, the calamity can destroy their precious worlds, the gods in each dimensions became aware of it too... I think I know why Professor Hokuri and his desire to bring out the three large serpents from Phantom Samsara--do you know Brahmana, Vishnuda and Shivada?"

They nodded, recalling on how they met these large serpents who were the Triumvirs of Phantom Samsara--while they opposed the Devas in their own world and maintaining the balance while helping Samsara. "He told me that... not only he wanted to learn about them, but he need to test out his hypothesis about the existence of Devas by luring those gods out. The Samsaras are existing to act as balance between them in the living plane and the dead plane."

Kiryu shrieked when he remembered those serpents were so scary but tame, while some people could actually be able to talk to them just like what they managed to do. "You know what to do, team," Kohaku stated, before his co-captains nodded along the others. "Oh right... one more thing, our former clients won't going to live long when they broke the contract, so keep on your toes, any retaliation and revenge--should not be tolerated. Next time, they should prepared themselves to get killed off," he warned them, which made them slightly concerned but they are aware of that.

It's a big world, waiting to be conquered.

The six of them prepared their black umbrellas as their signature to cover their true intent with their mission, Kohaku glanced at Radjasa who played with his black umbrella, before he glanced at his team as he saw the horizon turns darker--describing their minds are as the night darkens, the brighter is the stars. "Now, let the games begin."

That was when their dark figures began to vanish into the shadows, with their footsteps like a blur--traveling forward the road to reach their destination. Through their respective black umbrellas, their appearances turned into holograms as a disguise while they travel through the shadow's paths to reach one certain point at the east area of the docks. All of them hid in the branches above the nearby office building, peering the windows. The rain has come to the city where the OUTLAW assassins camouflaged through their black umbrellas, hiding their outlines in the holograms and began to prepare their works ahead--in silence. "Don't let anyone leaving the factory, assassinate the five executives."

Kohaku said at Radjasa, his magenta-red eyes gleamed dangerously as his cold tone speaking to him in commanding. "Got it, boss," he said in reply and a grin on his lips, and Kohaku focused his sight on his other teammates to assign their duty. Byakuya was holding his black umbrella after scanning his target information on the phone as he gazed through the window of the door, waiting for his targets to emerge through the rooms. He put on his sunglasses, smirking--assuming he found them. "No warning will be given," he recited with a mutter.

"Such a twilight frill, if they'll come."

"When one with a heart does their best, or lack thereof..."

"Alluring indeed... this 'doubt' that I felt..."

Kiryu slain the men with his katana, before Radjasa adjusted the red threads after he tighten the grip until they suffocated. Soon, they take out their own black umbrellas like Byakuya already and taking his targets--walking out of the hallway for different directions. Sherry sheathed her katana-like weapon as she take out her umbrella as well, so does Kyouka after their mission is done. Meanwhile, Kohaku was smirking as if he was enjoying the party that his friends did. It seems that they're more than ready, ever since those events changed--they've been studying and adapting to the environment, understanding themselves and who they're now.

"OUTLAW--AT YOUR SERVICE."

Somehow, Kohaku started to enjoy his young adult life with his friends of his age--and all his decisions are his choices to overcome the harsh environment, which have him to earn his worth against others. He was a young assassin, he had responsibilities to take good care and protection from his loved ones. "The day of my downfall... will be the day of our downfall as well."

Their steps matched in harmony, covered with the black umbrellas due to the heavy rain coming to them with no sign of it stopping--leaving some criminal/victims died instantly. Kohaku stopped at the screen while he left a dead man body was slumped against the wall in the room, seeing one of his targets standing within a dozen bodies after he slashed his sword wildly. While his friends of his team standing in different spots respectively in the rain of the dead criminals, Kohaku's ruby red eyes shimmered as he look up at the viewer--adjusting his black umbrella over him in the rain as he spoke.

"Why, hello there... my friends. This may come as a surprise, but... I'm the Captain of the OUTLAW's team."

The crew all smirked with their shimmering ruby red eyes, as they saw their new underlings in black suits killing each different group of the criminals that the client wanted them to die.

"Better run cause we're the OUTLAW."

Once the assassination ended, Kohaku take out the envelope from his coat--somehow he wondered on how to deliver this to them. So, he decided to ask Damien to send this to the next character of the story. When the envelope has appeared on someone's hand who was playing the chip on his hand, his eyes widened a little--before he smiled grimly at the 'invitation'. "Hmm... interesting, good thing Althair reminded me about the upcoming arena in that island, guess I have to find him and do whatever it takes to gain it," he said, looking at his allies in his casino before they nodded--so does the boy who also nodded with his smile and eyes closed.

Everything is according to the script, now the third is in charge to show their worths towards the gods.
