"Hisato, what did you gather about the skinwalker?"
Damien asked his friend who was holding the folders on his hand, Ichika was resting her head on her father Hisato's lap as the twelve-years old girl was sleeping soundly with a stuffed white rabbit on her embrace. Hisato put down the folders on the desk as he ran his fingers through the longer bangs of his short chestnut colored hair, and his hands resting on his daughter's head as he stroked her hair while his purple colored eyes staring at the man. "The skinwalker not only camouflage as Kohaku's former rapist that he killed, but he also covered several identities as some rich businesspeople you've been targeting. He used the money in human trafficking, illegal stuffing and a drug dealer," he answered, before handing it out to him. "He also participating in experimenting Phantom Beasts as his 'serum' to either turn others into their slaves, mindless weapons or killing people by their fears. Because he can't bring him under his mercy, he disguised as human for who knows how long," he explained, checking his emails that were all info and map leading to the suspected skinwalker's hideout.
Hisato watched Damien reading the report, he can sense Ichika's stirred movement and changing position on his lap before he put down the tablet on the table, glancing back at the child. "His identity hasn't been revealed yet, so let's not expect too much since he's a crafty one in this 'special mission'," Hisato answered, Damien rose up from his seat as he adjusted his blazer--one of his employees coming by and handed him the coffee. "What's the response of the Indonesian shadow government?" he added, Damien checked his phone for a moment. "They had given me permission to do whatever I want," he answered, turning to him. "They work quicker than the current government, no offense."
Damien has killed several Indonesian important figures ranging from police generals to governors due to drug dealing discovery and human trafficking, he was basically given full permission from the authorities--even the highest one, it's middle and higher echelon since the current president was barely there, no longer gave a shit on the mission and the most serious one, corruption. He doesn't care if the family of his corrupt victims hated him for ending their lives, because he was doing what's right and people were too stupid and sluggish on what they're doing, not considering their people.
Kahayana brought something as well, approaching them as he placed the files on the desk. The Indonesian and Hisato both stared at him in silence, until a grin crept up on their faces. "They're with me," Kahayana started, showing the map in great detail like the information via the email. "Alright, thanks for the hard work," Hisato replied, earning a chuckle from the other man. "I already finished the assassins' payment after the mission, so don't ask me about the payroll and shit," Damien added.
"Yeah yeah, about the Legion Revengers... here's the datas that I audited earlier."
The files showed the profile of each war criminals that involved in bioterrorism and Phantom Beasts' invasion to Indonesia and around the world, also the reports of the experiments and their involvement with Scarlet Armband army against the World Government. Damien read the profile more carefully, he then shared them with Hisato and Kahayana--thinking that it must be done to wipe out all of their existences, to hide and bury the secrets of their plans and also the true nature of their purpose to bring the world under their thumb by using terrorism. They have to end this as a reminder for the bad side history, and the memory of the people who died must be redeemed for vengeance.
Hisato patted his daughter's shoulder softly, the girl immediately waking up from her slumber and squirmed a bit. "What time is it, Papa?" she asked, the single-father checked the time from his phone; before shoving it back on his pocket. "It's seven in the morning, Ichika. You can go back to sleep if you want," he said, rubbing the tears on her eyes from the sleep before the girl laid back on his lap--pouting her lips. "I'm hungry..."
"Alright, just be patient a little... there's a breakfast in a while. How about you join us, Kahayana?"
Kahayana chuckled as he ruffled the girl's hair, Ichika smiled at them before she went back to sleeping on her father's lap. "She reminds me of my son, you know Kayana is a heavy sleeper like your daughter. When he was small, he used to sleep in weird position--his head on the cupboards and legs hanging on the sofas," he snickered, making Kohaku sneezed on the other side when he was eating breakfast with his friends. "What's wrong?" Radjasa asked, seeing his sniffling his nose. "Nothing... I feel like someone is talking about me," he answered with a yawn.
Rayna finished eating her breakfast like usual, before Sherry wiped her lips with a napkin, earning a happy giggle from the girl. Byakuya coughed a little after he finished eating with them, he hate his asthma so much and his younger sister Kyouka also hated her asthmatic condition. "Excuse me..." she said, taking out the inhaler and pressed it before inhaling. Byakuya also take out his inhaler, pressing it twice to inhale the medicine and relieving his symptoms. "Sorry... it has been seasonal asthma this year," he said, putting it back on his pocket and felt a bit relieved. "It's okay, it must hard for you and Kyouka..." Kohaku commented, frowning at him.
While the others are swimming in the pool party that Damien's guests held, Byakuya was resting on the bed to ease down his asthma--he really hates the heat in Dubai, especially at the rooftop since he was easily get to feel the difference of heat. Sometimes, the cold temperatures worsens his asthma symptoms and the humidity added effect would have given him even an eye roll. He still tolerate the heat in Indonesia because of it also has humid climate--unlike in his place where he was actually from. Kohaku was helping him chill in his room, while the others are going to explore Dubai again.
Byakuya coughed a little as he look back at Kohaku who observed the pool party with Rayna resting on his lap, seeing Kiryu was having fun with them so does Radjasa with him. "Kohaku, can you turn down the AC for a bit?" he asked the Indonesian, Kyouka was resting as well because her asthma attack relapsed suddenly. "How many degrees?" he asked, holding the remote to adjust the temperature in the room. "23 Celsius is fine," he answered, that earned an eye-roll from his long time best friend who finally set down the temperature, adjusting it manually for his best friend. "Thanks..."
Kyouka coughed for a bit, before she groaned. "I need a warm drink... strawberry milk," she stated that made Byakuya rolling his eyes. "Please take it easy, it won't settle down for you if you have the sweet stuff, Kyouka. Look, drinking a herbal tea would be better..." he said, coughing some more as he closed his eyes. Kohaku saw Kyouka pulling the covers on her own bed and pulled it up to cover her small body, covering her head as the seventeen-years old girl let out a small sneeze and her chest slightly heaved from the shallow breaths. She obviously slept soundly to recover from her relapse, and by this time Kohaku began to feel relieved from the symptoms for an unknown reason.
"What happened to them, Kayana?"
Rayna asked him innocently, he began to explain the side effects from asthma or allergies especially from dusts, pollutions, and smoke. She frowned when he was telling about how can they survive without taking antihistamines daily, it must be suffocating and... the times of him witnessing Byakuya and Kyouka suffered from these was very upsetting; from using inhalers as their medications. "Are you feverish?" he asked, Byakuya shake his head no--before he let out another cough.
Kyouka wasn't feverish as well, but screw their hereditary asthmatic genes... those runs in their family. The last thing that Kohaku has a glimpse at them was coughing or having slight wheezes escaping from their lips when he had done his assassinations, but they can suppress them as long they don't force themselves during gym workouts and assassinations. 'I wonder... who is this mysterious little girl? She seems... off to me...' Kohaku thought, looking at Rayna who was watching the pool party and their friends enjoying the time of their life.
Rayna got off from his lap as she was quiet for a moment, the latter looks at her. Kohaku sees Damien was staring at her in a very gentle way, and Rayna tilted her head in curiosity as she was a bit shy to say anything--considering that she has to obey the orders, but Kohaku helped her to keep trying. "Is there something you want to say? Please tell me..." he said. Damien snorted with a mocking smirk, oh yeah... Kohaku got used to his gaze. 'At this rate, she wouldn't be considered for an assassin. But, considering his kind act towards his friends and how he slowly gaining sympathy from his peers, I'm not sure what's next...' he thought.
The little girl pulled Kohaku's wrist before she points out the sunset near the ocean in the horizon, making the latter raised his eyebrows in surprise--by then, Rayna asks him. "Can we...? Can we watch the sunset together?"
It takes a moment for Kohaku to answer, before he's up with a reassuring nod--making Rayna excited like a cat. "By the way, that's not her 'real' appearance," Damien added to his ear when he stood past him, Kohaku lifted his eyebrows in surprise. "Then, what did she look like?" he asked, but he received a chuckle. "You'll find out yourself, but for now... she's just your friend. No more, no less."
Kohaku bit his lower lip from Damien's comment. "I never thought how would this affect my behavior to my surroundings, especially toward Sherry and the rest," he said, letting out a sneeze after he realized the cold breeze through the room made Byakuya grunted with a closed eyes.
"Well, a typical behavior is a sign of being fake to hide your real intentions and purpose."
After that, both of them were in the garden where the fountains were made of metals and large stones, all crystal blue color and the tiled path were colored with different tints of blue marble or marbles in general. Rayna released his hand, before she faced her back to him. "Kayana, promise you won't be scared or shocked," she said that made him raised one of his eyebrows. "What... if I said that I might look funny to your perspective..."
Kohaku tilted his head a little, before he waved his hand a little. "Nah, I think it won't shock or scare me out," he replied, before she nodded at him. "R-Right..."
A minute later, a sudden purple wave surrounds Rayna made Kohaku flinched at how the waves engulfing her appearance. Her appearance changed while retaining her fourteen-years old physique, except her ability as Tiryag just like the rest of them. She has a lower-back length light-brown hair which is styled in half-ponytail and has square bangs hanging over her forehead messily, violet-blue eyes and pink lips. She wears a white puff sleeved ankle-length dress, with a light purple-lilac apron and black-white-dark purple striped colored bowtie ribbon behind her back with a spare ribbon around her waist--a light pink ribbon knotted between her collars and wears a black tights--and she also wear her black Mary Jane heels.
"Even though I'm a Tiryag, I'm one of the reborn Molten Soldiers that descended from Oxavian Sentry... I'm still bounded by Damien's commands because... I'm indebted to him."
Kohaku was wide-eyed when she revealed her true form in front of his sight, although she still fourteen-years old, her looks was captivating. He's totally lost in words to describe her complexion, so he just swallowed his saliva before letting out a small smile. "I'm honored, whatever your true identity is..." he said, approaching her and saw she was nervous around him, playing with the corner of her ribbon. In his eyes, she's a mere child who only wanted to be protected and live a happy life--like most children would be. "All I wanted to know, if you're worthy enough to be a part of us," he stated, petting her shoulder.
She looked away from him, before sniffling a little.
The Tiryag's tears were coming out from her eyes as she didn't want to show him her face anymore, wondering why does she have to reveal her true self to him. Damien did it because he trusted him enough, he didn't kill her or end her with his weapon because he wanted to give her a new purpose, a new life and... starting from where her powers couldn't bind her as she was a subject and experiment gone wrong. The Phantom Eruption already buried her past, like burying her whole body under the sands which her powers can't be used much longer--but after she survived from that... she lost her parents and had to live with the Secret Garden members.
Rayna felt his fingers wiped her tears from her cheeks gently and Kohaku turned her head to stare at him, he smiles softly as he patted her head. It didn't change the fact that Kohaku acts cold towards others since he'd always had to be 'guarded' at all times and yet... she was crying in relief as the person she expected as a ruthless killer had been with someone as pure, kind and warm-hearted as him. There were so many times where he had to lower his head and kneel for him like he was made of something cheap, fragile and wasn't worth a name from the public, he wasn't.
Rayna clung onto his waist as he just knelt to hug her tightly, rubbing her back soothingly as she sobbed on his chest. "Now I realized why Damien entrusted me to lead my team," he said with a low tone, before he continued. "Even though my experience as a class monitor only lasted for two years in master degree... due to not by my own will, I began to realize the meaning why I was chosen to be one: taking care of people and it reminds me why I'm here, it isn't about bloodsheds, murders and taking the lives of corrupt people... but of caring and protecting someone special to me," he mumbled softly, earning an unexpected gasp of the other teenager.
He was right.
"I guess I'm no longer a mere employee, but a Captain for my friends and colleagues. If I look down on their abilities and skills... they wouldn't accept me or listen to me anymore, the same goes for myself. Their weaknesses, their flaws are the strengths that were made by us..."
Even Rayna had to realized how silly she is, clinging onto the cold and ruthless killer yet she can't change the fact. That even if he was cold towards them--even they were his friends, it was his responsibilities and he does it best not to fail--so did the rest. She finally understands this as a truth that she can tell what the world had been for Kohaku throughout those times she's been with him, perhaps his personality and thoughts were shaped not long ago: after he's been given freedom by Damien to his own.
The story has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.
Kohaku released her as he stand up, before he gave his usual stern expression to her. "Rayna, don't hide your identity when it comes to us, okay? We are your family!" he demanded that earned a nervous nod, before his face softened up at her. He can tell the 'Molten Soldiers' weren't like normal humans--even though they were reborn as a Tiryag, they're still human nonetheless. "Y-Yes, I promise..."
After having a talk with her, Kohaku decides to have a practice fight with her--considering she has two forms: first is as Rayna, second as her reborn form as IRIS (yes, she named that mecha-humanoid form like that). After the practice, they headed back inside while the pool party still ongoing. "Yo, Byakuya. Are you okay now?" Kohaku asked, seeing him sitting up and inhaling the inhaler while Kyouka was watching television in the other bed. Byakuya is much better from his asthma thanks to the supplements, and also the medical attentions by those other medics. "Do you have an additional capsule?" Kyouka asked his older brother, earning a nod from him before he put it on her inhaler and showed it to her. "I'm going on a mission with Kohaku, okay? It's alright nighttime so we had to be quick," Byakuya answered her with a little smirk, at Kohaku as the latter was waiting outside.
Kyouka crossed her arms and blinked as her eyes rested on him for a moment, she grumbled. "Just go already, nii-sama... it's annoying to have you fuss over me. I can handle my asthma attack," she retorted back, pouting her lips. "What if you attack relapse?" he asked, earning an eye roll from his younger sister. "You also got one, nii-sama! It's no joke! Now leave me alone!" she shouted, laying back on the bed with the blanket covering her as she turned at her side, earning a sigh from her older brother.
"She's always like that."
Kohaku snorted with a surprised expression, before he rolled his eyes a little. "I can see why, Byakuya. And you're worrying for nothing when my father was also having issues that when I was nearly five," he added, glancing back at Byakuya. "How did you do it...?" he asked, seeing his friend just let out a sigh--yet not out of irritation but exhausted sighs. "I prayed, Kohaku. I prayed for my safety and for Kyouka too..." he muttered, causing him to nod in understanding him.
The duo prepared themselves before they jumped down from the rooftop, landing quietly into the darkness and started following the lead from the email where Hisato disclosed some of the locations regarding the suspected skinwalker's case. Their task is investigating the city hall as the skinwalker was covering the higher members, and tried to find clues that were related to their mission. "That email from Hisato has all the information of that bastard's hiding place, so we need to find the information from the hideout--" Kohaku was about to explain, before he heard a scream coming from the high rise building. "Did he said something about Legion Revengers?" he added.
"Yes, the Legion Revengers were plotting to spread a bioweapon that can infect people through consumption, along with spreading several viral pathogens on a crowded places especially a city... they also have connection with the biohazard terrorist group where that virus was revealed by them during the Phantom Eruption incident in Turkey," Byakuya answered his question with a serious tone, before Kohaku spoke again. "So, they use the DNA from the Phantom Beasts? How can the current scientist and authorities doesn't know that?"
"They might alter the DNAs or blood when combining with human genes or perhaps mixing it up with technology, genetic medicine and nanotechnology or whatever. Whatever it takes to fulfill the deadlines and goals, then nothing matters," he added, getting shivers on his spine from this mission. "Come on, let's stop them from using that virus... I've seen enough on how did that epidemic was all caused in the first place: from biological warfare," Kohaku said.
Both of them were sneaking in the secret laboratory hidden at the lower levels of the high rise building after they blended in with the crowd by using disguises. However, they discovered that there were captured the three Trilaksana Organization's high-ranking officials--making them alarmed. "Wait, are they..." Kohaku muttered, making Byakuya growled a little. "Yup, it's them... Professor Hokuri, Kaname and... I don't know who's the girl with them."
The three of them were unconscious due to being beaten up by the members of Legion Revengers during their investigation, seeing the scene of torture made Kohaku frustrated--that the most valuable assets of Damien for his plan for domination over the world was in that situation. "I think we need to save them first, because you know... we need them to do the investigation and whatnot with Hisato," he said, pointing out the three assets of Trilaksana had been taken captive--and it was definitely shit as they stumbled across from all of these. "Yeah... let's save their asses first," Byakuya grumbled.
Kaname was inside the room with his hands tied behind the chair where he sat, he was taped on his mouth and unconscious from the torture he received from the bioterrorists--which done the same to Kayla as they were in separate rooms. Until he slowly opened his eyes and look around, his glasses thankfully didn't break that he finally went conscious. He glanced back at Kayla and saw her sleeping in a similar condition and Hokuri was on the other side too--but not completely unconscious. She was only half-asleep like him, while she was tied on the chair and Hokuri's head hung low and facing the ground.
"S-Shit... where are the captors...?" Hokuri muttered under his mouth, before Kaname kicked him sharply with his foot making the chair toppled to his side. "Asshole, you're so fucking loud!" he hissed, Hokuri screamed from the kick. "Shut up, damn it!" Hokuri snapped back, earning a groan from the woman who's trying to say something but the tape on her mouth blocks it. "Kayla, you good? Shit, I hope all of us are unharmed..." Kaname grunted, the sound of metal and footsteps was approaching them gave a bad feeling--indicating that they're about to suffer the torture again. "I can't even summon Golden Demon... because my flip cellphone is missing and shit... not even my swordsmanship can defeat them..." he added.
However, they heard a strangled scream from the men outside the room and followed by the slicing sounds and crunching noises. "What... the hell?" Hokuri mumbled, hearing the metal door swinging open. Kohaku snorts after seeing them were bruised or cut here and there, before he huffed. "Hey prof," he called, approaching him and undid the handcuff around his wrists behind him. "Byakuya... you little fuck..." Kaname snorted, before Byakuya slain the chains from his wrists and Kayla's wrists--then he handed his flip cellphone back. "Here, you dropped this," he said.
"Why are you two here?" Hokuri asked, coughing a little after adjusting his sleeves. "We're doing an investigation about an alleged skinwalker with the terrorists where they brought you guys as a hostage. They thought to capture you and perhaps have you working with them, if things didn't go as they planned," Kohaku answered, while Kayla removed the tape from his mouth. Kaname snatch the flip cellphone from him as he checked his screen, while Byakuya scowled at his archenemy. "Really, no thank you?" Byakuya gritted his teeth, before Kaname rose up and stood tall from his seat.
"You and him can kill each other later, but for now... we need to destroy this facility," Hokuri added, before he glanced at his Indonesian student. "Kohaku, can you help us with the documents over there? You're short enough to grab it from the shelf, since we all were too tall," Hokuri asked.
Short? Kohaku is LIKE 180cm, for goodness sake. "Did you just call me short?" he asked with a glare, looming over him menacingly. Hokuri didn't mind the glares and Byakuya's remark to him, but not gonna lie--he was offended as fuck from their rudeness, Kaname just smiled wryly at his fellow comrade. "Sorry, our colleague is like that," Kayla said, before her handgun was knocked away from her hand by a blade that was previously at the top of the stack of files. "Who the..." she muttered, until a man with scar across his eyes approached them with a crazed smile.
"Let's play..."
The man sneered, before Kaname summoned Golden Demon from his flip cellphone as the female sword-wielding phantom clashed her katana against him. "Hold up, leave this to me," Kaname stated, looking at his enemy. Kohaku recognized the man as a skinwalker himself, because he was also witnessed before when he saw a glimpse of him years ago from his nightmare memories he wanted to forget--pure bad news. Golden Demon swung her blade at his attacker, slashing his right side down to his ribcage. The skinwalker hissed in pain, before his wounds immediately healed themselves up, confusing the latter. "What...?"
The skinwalker escaped from them in fear as if his ability can't prevent the phantom's attacks against him, he hasn't figured out why. He climbed up from the window and ran to the other room, hiding inside the equipment boxes to make sure they didn't recognize him. Hokuri shot the skinwalker on the neck as a poison arrow and the criminal was coughing wildly as blood gushed out from his mouth and felt the burning from the inside out. "Dammit, why does he still alive despite being poisoned?!" he added, shooting another three arrows in a row but they didn't work on him.
"Let's figure it out..."
Kohaku muttered, approaching the skinwalker and used his burning fist to land a blow on the exposed chest--causing his flesh to be roasted, the skinwalker fainted after he used the flaming punch on him. "First of all, his healing ability was way slower than we thought... plus he has that scar running on his eyes and the entire skull looks fake to me," Kohaku answered to Hokuri, after he saw the skinwalker has some marks around his body. "Alright, let's figure out who the fuck are you..."
Kaname spoke, watching Kohaku trying to find the 'mask' from him. Even though the dead body looks creepy to him but he had seen much worse--instead of killing him straightly, Kaname was wondering why does Kohaku hesitate so much to kill this guy. 'Where's the mask?' he thought, before he found the 'eject' lever and pulled it out, revealing a secret hatch on the back of the victim's head--finding another scar across his nape and he sees a metal-rimmed glasses.
As soon Kohaku look at the eyes, they were closed from when Golden Demon slashed him twice, he was frozen as they have the same eyes with his target back in years ago--the same gray-blue-violet eyes and the eye color mixed perfectly. A horrifying feeling creeps into him, his fingers were shaking as he gritted his teeth. "Yup, this is him... do you guys know the name?" Byakuya asked, watching Kayla goes to look at it--she nodded. "Yup, this is him... he's an American scientist and bioterrorist who went missing last two years ago--his name is Reinhardt Morgan," she stated, observing the body at the corner. "He killed several criminals and using his ability to skin-walk through their bodies to search information about the secret organizations, like it was a game... because he gets off on hurting people's feelings, that's why... he killed several innocents after inflicting that Phantom Eruption... but how?"
There was silence in the air as Hokuri was checking the documents he took, while he was staring blankly at the files from the other room. He stopped because the words on the documents were vague, like he didn't really know what the details are as they were only scribbles of black ink. Like they were in foreign language with no meanings. "He must've stole something from the Legion Revengers earlier on, looks like a chemical weapon which can wipe out a whole cities and it will erase everything on the road that anyone steps on. No evidence left, just like someone has created a fucking antibiotic..." Hokuri answered, before tossing it away--erasing the names on the files, along with the crimes of terrorisms.
The way Hokuri does that can make him nervous, to think that such high power was brought in this room but he noticed how he was erasing their traces with the fire--everything burned and turned into the ashes. To think that even their existence on the news as victims was not exist anymore, they're literally invisible in all records. "Alright, time to beat everyone in this building... who's gonna team up with me?" Hokuri asked to them. "I mean... Kohaku and Byakuya had their own mission, so we can't get involved with your 'business'," he added.
Kaname glared at Byakuya while Kayla smiled at Kohaku, since this is her first time meeting him in person because Hokuri often talk about his students back in Warmadewata University--now it was their chance to bond. But he knew that Kaname had rivalry with Byakuya and has personal grudge, now that he saw them together in the same room. "Seriously, why you two never get along? Plus, Kyouka once said that you're annoying," Kohaku asked Kaname, watching him glaring at Byakuya with hatred inside his deep purple eyes. "Because that fucker and his annoying little sister keep interrupting my work, they always spy on us," he answered. "Oi, don't call my sister little... she's nine years younger than you, dumbass," he added, standing side by side with Kohaku and the latter snickered a little at his sentence.
"Shut up, you Shinobu siblings are nuisance to us Ayatsuji clan--you think I'm the ONLY one in my family?"
Kaname ranted with a smirk, but Hokuri grabbed his collars and pulled him away from them. "Come on, get to work so we can report this shit to Trilaksana Organization. Shit... I get a feeling that we're being watched from inside..." Hokuri continued, eyeing the surroundings around him before releasing him and clasped his hands together. "Alright, let's get our revenge..."
Few hours later...
Kohaku yawned as he just got back and he received a payment from Damien, so does Byakuya as he also got his payment from his boss. "We did it... now let's take a fucking shower..." he grumbled, the blood really stained their assassin outfits despite the black themes making them worse and the clothes were dirty. "I'm tired as fuck... but at least we can sleep peacefully tonight," he mumbled, glancing at Byakuya who took his inhaler like usual--after that his airways went clear and he sighs in relief. "I hate dusts, especially the bloods of the enemies," Byakuya muttered. "Yeah, that one smells like copper coins," he replied.
"Shhh, it's not him. Remember that."
"Are you talking about that Kaname guy? I know, but did he have to brag like that--"
Meanwhile, Kaname just got back to the hotel that the three of the booked, they have to informed their superior Alda about this and might send backups later. His narcolepsy relapsed due to his exhaustion, before he fainted outside in the lobby. Kayla saw her boss was fainting, so she ran to him and kneeled in front of him. "Kaname!" she snapped, before Hokuri turn around and noticed that his colleague suddenly fainted on the floor. "Crap, his narcolepsy relapsed..."
Kaname has a bad case with narcolepsy when he was young, mostly he had a short episode of fainting or yawning randomly--but still functional. He always sleepy in the daytime and sometimes fainted at random time--whenever he's about to have narcoleptic fit, he says some warning phrases like "Gimme five minutes, damn..." with unresponsive or hard-to-wake. This time however, his body did respond from the overexertion and his eyes were open but in drowsy and dazed. After they got a separate room, Kaname was sleeping soundly with his eyes shut close and the room was closed. 'He had so many other conditions but this narcolepsy of his, make it hard for him to function or get shit done,' Hokuri thought. 'No wonder he always awake during nighttime, although he's fucking annoying...' he added.
Kayla was worried of her boss, she has a phone call from her older brother brother Karuna who's going to be there the next morning. "Yes, I understand... mom's gonna be fine you know."
On the other side, Kyouka finished taking a shower and getting changed before her older brother Byakuya came inside with a yawn. "I need a bath, too. Dang it..." he grunts, heading to the bathroom and turned on the water in the tub. Before he was submerged into the warm water and leaned his back comfortably, relaxing as he can. "Did you bring food, nii-sama?" she asked, watching television with her dinner tray on her lap, she received a mumble from her older brother. Kyouka rolled her eyes as she heard the grumbles of her older brother, of course.
"Eat already, Byakuya."
"I already did buy them for us, the bag is over there..."
Byakuya answered, before he soaks inside and enjoying his moments. After he finished his bath, he dried his purplish-black short messy hair with long bangs with a towel--he had no glasses on so it's just his light violet eyes. "I smell good, right?" he asked, hearing her yawn as her voice was less energetic as usual. "Nah, not really... go to sleep, okay? We can continue the rest of the story tomorrow," she said. "Let's get some sleep, Kyouka..." he said, feeling the tiredness hitting his consciousness.
