They began their expedition to Singkawang, city of Kalimantan where the source of Terrestrial Paradise Cultivation cult with the World Government leaders and the last remaining rogue gods are having a meeting on their new plans for their world domination. They also helped Andini dealing with another crime and Ren decided to confront the leader, the second-in-command and one of the former members to work in this cult; Indah Rahadian and Ruslan Hidayat, along with some of the crime syndicate that has been giving trouble to Andini. With Sunyata Organization on their side as a recognized elite law enforcement agency, they had some tasks to defeat the higher ranking members of these criminal and gang organizations.
Dinda was still curious of the man named Senjaya Haryadi, even though they're somewhat 'related'--she wondered that why his hair color isn't like the other Haryadi family members. However, she realized that he was a Binding Raksha so it make sense that there's some changes in his appearance. "So, Wulan is a niece of my relatives?" she muttered when she think about Wulan who's part of the Narayana's Scions, using her tablet to find the profile of him. "Senjaya... Haryadi... Senja," Dinda muttered, typing thee tablet pads to find his profile.
"Most of the Haryadi's are white-haired, in exception of Wulan due to being a nice of us... but why Senja's hair is black with red streaks? Is that also due to him being a Binding Raksha?" she asked Shenlan, who was eating her strawberry parfait in the resort of Danau Biru Singkawang--which is a beautiful beach, based on Indonesian Tourism's official website. "Hold on, let me check him..." she said, before both of them turn their heads when he suddenly appeared out of nowhere. "Sen? Why are you here, and... how did you get there?!" Dinda panicked as she gasped in horror by his sudden appearance.
Senja kept his eyes closed, folding his arms as he remained silent... until Shenlan look up at him. "Well... mind to explain what happens between you and Wulan, hmm?" Shenlan asked--she narrowed her eyes as he kept his mouth shut, feeling amused when Dinda was a little afraid of him since he looks mean and intimidating by her perspective. "She's my niece," he replied simply, his cold and unfazed nature can be very hard to crack. "Sanjaya allowed me to come here, since we ADVENT need some breaks from our works," he continued, folding his arms.
When Dinda, or even Shenlan realize that Sanju had sent him as well to keep an eye on things--it may because ADVENT needed their resources to defend the world against the threat of World Government and the false gods along with their conspirators. "So, you're our spying game huh...?" Shenlan guessed, her red eyes squinted before Senja shrugged. "I want to meditate, can't even catch some goddamn peaceful time anymore--especially she's my niece..." he growled, annoyed by this topic so he took his time to leave and just look around while waiting for Sanju's calls.
'Father told me that one of the Haryadi clansmen rebelled our homeland because of the invasion from Zetian race that are on a war against the Xiaotian--because they were exiled for unknown reasons...' Dinda thought, watching Senja looking for a place to meditate with his hair covering his eyes. "Shenlan, do you know something about Senjaya Haryadi? You know, his actual self and why does the Haryadi clan is targeting him?" she questioned, earning the samurai's attention--as she hummed and thinks the answer.
"Haven't a clue, but he got awakened as a Binding Raksha because of unfortunate incident during Phantom Eruption--he hated his 'old hair color' and made his new hairstyle plus changing his eye colors too, not only that... the people in West Sumatera still being in shock when he went unhinged; taking some deep breaths and suddenly slaughtered some criminals and serial killers there, you know? Until, he got recruited by some kind of... higher-ups of ADVENT--I guess it's Silver Slumbering Dragon or whatever. He was brought to Sanju's team, at first Senja is an apeshit and a complete asshole but Sanju didn't have a choice to tame him and the rest is history... but half of them are rumors," Shenlan explained, waving her hand to tell that their story is just fine.
Dinda wanted to get to know her relative, even though he's not quite a close relative but still counts. "So, I was thinking: why did Sanjaya and his team accepted him despite his behavior?" she questioned, because Senja was a rebel-like and rogue member while he was siding with the Indonesian leader like Sanju--or better said, like an army general of his own. "I believe... he was indebted to Sanju for recruiting him and his loyal comrades, but now it's all good... until something big is coming, either a new Phantom Eruption is bound to happen or the Order of Paradise had risen," Shenlan grumbled when she thought about those cult's leader, who seemed to be the last boss and hoping they won't get pranked by them.
Meanwhile, Senja was walking towards the Chinese temple architecture in Singkawang--his sharp gaze glaring at the sky and its sun that always watched his country with calmness. He growled under his breath, as the curse of that incident that inhabits his Core begins to take over his sanity; until he calm down when he senses someone's presence is approaching him... but his glare was more clear, when he narrowed his eyes at him. "Excuse me, are you... Master Senjaya?" the honorable old man asked, before Senja slowly turned his head to face him. His eye colors had didn't change--reminding him to his childhood self before he was corrupted and betrayed, he knew this was quite unexpected for both men.
"... yes, that's me," he said with his stoic but quiet voice, his gloved hand is no longer in fist. "Wha... What? Oh... I apologize, you looked so young... and very handsome!" the old man complimented in excitement, his gentle smile makes Senja's eyes softened in shame... he's starting to sense these old man's connection; how he reminded him of his past--he just... really didn't want to be reminded by these. "I just moved here to this beautiful place, but the sun is the best view I've ever seen," the old man added with a small laugh, making Senja raise his eyebrow with silence. "Would you like to take a look around?" he then asked, making the younger dark-haired man blinked.
Senja didn't say anything, before he gestured his hand to let him escorted him on sightseeing his new residence, since there are more tourists arriving Singkawang for today as it's holiday week. After this... he really hoped he would be ignored by others, until a small child that was playing with others grabbed his hand unexpectedly before tugging it, smiling cutely at him. "Can you come and play with us, big brother?" the child asked him innocently, Senja was surprised when the children and the old man around his residence gathering around them while staring at him. 'How long I've been genuinely smiling, other than with my friends in my team? Ever since I was...' he thought to himself, it was a very long time for him. Then, he remembered what Sanju told him. 'Sanjaya...'
"If you want to visit your homeland, it's your freedom--you can try and take a trip."
Sanju was kind enough to let him stay, after he was recruited by them and became a loyal comrade to him. This kindness, from the man he hates yet the feelings that he ignored are growing--became too intense to the point that it is necessary to have another meaning: not for controlling him, but to turn a new leaf. Even if Sanju treated him like one of his friends--he could see through him with his innocent-self, without malice and evil intentions--but the sincerity.
Dinda was peeking behind the wall of her balcony of her resort, watching Senja talking with the townsfolk and playing with the children with his smile--her cousin may be insane, vicious and deadly but he can also change so easily, why it was too quick? Damn, he's too chaotic sometimes! When Senja noticed her in his line of sight, Dinda fell down when she didn't realize she's too distracted. Then, Senja shook his head before sighing and proceed to approach her. "Kid, why are you watching me? Want to talk, huh?" he grunted before sitting at the open verandah where the weather is pleasant, the salty cold air fills his nostrils while the sounds of water and people are calming his nerves.
"I'm curious about you, uhm... Senja, right? I heard you're part of Sanjaya's team--"
Senja look up at her from his seat, his glare sharpened when he heard Sanju's name being mentioned in the public space--he don't want his companion get known by the others or the World Government would hunt him down like an animal, he cares about his well-being but then... he gets protective when it comes to ADVENT group. Even if Sanju always call him, make sure he's okay or alive and can be contacted any time.
"Don't involve Sanjaya in this, he's got enough with World Government to stop sending their dogs... unlike the people who betrayed him in the past," he muttered the last part quietly, hiding a deeper hatred when his gloved fists grip tight but his anger isn't noticeable.
Dinda was surprised by his sudden calm but raging outburst, before she frowned. "S-Sorry... hey, since you're from West Sumatra... do you happen to knew Wulan?"
Senja froze upon hearing Wulan's name, his lips now became twisted and the expression is nothing but a loath and anger, not only that... he ended up being called 'uncle' because of that shit. "My niece? Don't ever mention that brat in front of me! I'm fucking sick of this 'niece' thing--that fucktard killed half of my targets during the Phantom Eruption in Shanghai and shit."
'Damn, he's so... toxic,' Dinda thought. The Chinese-Indonesian thought that maybe Senja was just talking about the Phantom Eruption and the battle against their group during Shanghai's calamity... or perhaps, something related to Wulan. "Uhm... sorry if I sound rude or anything but I'm curious..." she muttered, seeing Senja sigh and slowly opening his eyes slightly--they are normal, not even having any malicious signs like when he's in his darker phase, much worse when Sanju wasn't on the scene for calming him down. "How do you and ADVENT works? Like, your activities and... regarding the 'script' that your leader gave," she explained, hoping the former doesn't snap and going 'berserk' as Sanju had described.
"You don't want to know, kid. The more you try, the more you'd be just hurt," he warned in calm manner, his neutral tone seems nice at first but he does have a reason for not being very active when someone gets to know more about him. "Hey, we promise not to break our agreement during our first meeting, remember?" she convinced with a frown, Senja sighed--at least she'll know the stories behind his story, however... Dinda didn't think about his entire life was like this. "We work hard to maintain our order with our leader, since our plans are always the best to help them out. And the script? Well, it could be one to checkmate some moves we made with the team. Sanjaya is the one who made and supervise the script, of course, because he's the one who can prevent us from making stupid moves," Senja explained, despite of being honest... he's doing the hardest thing in the world: to prevent himself from cracking--not fully doing it with his power because there's a consequence like his sanity will be disastrous.
Dinda hummed, listening to him explaining every details while Senja was still using his stoic tone. In fact, Dinda took notice of the scars on the bandaged wrists under his sleeves as she wondered where are those scars came from--from her thoughts, Senja could guess some of it from a young age, but he and his team are the one who take a task and taking care of illegal syndicate themselves. "Now, I'll take my time to meditate in the lotus position if you don't mind," he interrupted, keeping a distance because he doesn't like to talk a lot and not being clingy especially to family relatives.
Dinda pouted, before she turn around and decided to take a detour around the cliff and hill of the city of Singkawang, the blue lake of Danau Biru is magnificent view to see when the sun is close to setting the daylight--just in time! Who would've thought this kind of place could bring her to have fun--she never actually visited Kalimantan, when she was young. Then, she encountered one of the ADVENT members and her eyes widened at the familiar sight of their leader--it was Sanju.
Sanju was seen standing on top of the cliff in front of her, resting his hands inside his pockets when he's looking away to feel the fresh air--his cross necklace flickered a little by the light of the sun. Dinda tried to remain calm as she approaching him cautiously, as the way his hair sways and dancing with the cold sea breeze... for some reason it's beautiful but tranquil and peaceful. "Uhm... excuse me, hello," Dinda greeted in shy tone, almost startled as she's been hiding behind the large rock--with an intimidated look from a person such as him, it does make sense because he is the leader. Sanju turned around and their eyes locked on each other, before he immediately recognized her. "Ah, so it's you," he guessed.
Dinda kept her distance, before she smile. "Yes... I'm Adinda Haryadi or you can call me Dinda, we met before during Riyanda's training for three months, remember?" she asked, recalling Ren's training with his friends by their assistance. Sanju hummed, before smiling with eyes closed as his charming smile didn't disappear. "Yes, of course. Well, it is nice to see you again. Just make yourself at home, I'll make sure that I'll tell my friend about you and..." Sanju stopped when Senja suddenly appeared and scowled at him, revealing his gloved hand that grips the rocks into tiny pieces. "Hey," he greeted, his monotonous voice sound so strange to him, but he knew Senja would be more relaxed if he's around with them.
"Senja, I thought you're meditating and playing with children. Or were you waiting for me, so you can meditate with me," Sanju said with a casual smile, it somehow made the Binding Raksha grumbled silently and rolled his eyes. "Hell no, I'm meditating so I can have good night rest," he muttered, turning around from the Garuda Raksha and left to find the empty spot for himself. "Don't mind him, he's just shy when he's trying to make friends--when I met him after the Phantom Eruption... he was very cold, emotionless and distant from the others. Our mutual friends tried to get along with him, but we manage to get him into our side," Sanju explained, making Dinda nodded in silence.
Once he turned his gaze towards the sun that still hanging high, his mind remembered about the incident that happened, before he awakened as a Garuda Raksha. "I have a question for you guys, specifically for you... Sanjaya," Dinda spoke up, which she referred his name with 'Sanjaya'. Sanju raised his eyebrow, before he nodded and stared at the lake. "Go ahead," he replied, feeling that the calm breeze relaxes their thoughts when their missions are done. "Are you... the 'torch that lights up the world'? Riyanda told me that you're the one who defeated the Void of the Centuries. Also, you know the truth about the Phantom Samsara too, and you wanted to invite us to the Hyang Seram Island for a match... right?"
Dinda asked, waiting for Sanju's answers with concerns and skepticism--she can't trust him and the 'team' at first, but the fact he let train with him makes them having less doubts whether there's the leader. If he really the man, then he could try convince everyone in the organization or so. Sanju smiled sadly, before nodded without looking at her. "I did, because he really desperate for our help; but it's common for us late-teenagers to have that kind of temper, our youthful thoughts can be very harsh and damaging to adults and to ourselves. People would consider it as a selfishness, but to me, it's a sign to bring a revolution to the world or to make a change," Sanju answered sincerely, remembering the old times that lead him to become the leader of their organization. "Riyanda... has some kind of development that I don't have, perhaps Kayana too because he also envious of this kid. Wanna know why?"
"What is it?"
"... that light within him, is what made him retaining his optimistic and hope to bring peace for a short period..." Sanju pondered in regret, letting out a pained sigh when those events still play in his mind like a horrid movie. "You need to make Riyanda happy, because he's the happiness and 'dream' that I never can achieve, even the others. If I know this, and I told myself that I was willing to assist to him while he learns... Riyanda would follow to bring our hopes and dreams. But, I realized that we're different; it doesn't meant me as anti-hero, no, of course not--but it's how we work and learn in our ways. Let's say I'm doing this for the fun, to put the real perpetrators in jail for their wrongdoings."

Sanju looked around, finding Ren that walks towards his friends. "You can join them too if you like, let him enjoy being with the other youngsters. I'm sure that his problems would vanish and bring him to become a better person," he advised Dinda, despite of them were younger--there would be an equal term in every aspect of generation. She smiled happily, before she clasped her hands. "I will, thank you Sanjaya! Please let me know when you want to tell me some more, I would tell my cousin Senja as well... will you do that?"
There was a silence, Sanju's face morphed into awkward shock as she mentioned the former's name. Then, he laughed quietly with his hand covering his mouth, leaving the girl speechless. "You've met him...? Senja," he whispered loudly, as Dinda slowly nodded, without Sanju looking at her like she knew someone's been calling her. "I already did, just that he doesn't look like he's familiar with me. He and I shared the same surname though, perhaps..."
"Just take your time, he might warm up soon."
Ren was wandering around the city as he was looking for Fandey, before he saw Dinda waved at him happily and he waved back with a smile--until he was surprised to see Sanju gave a regards to him. "Well well well, we meet again," Sanju greeted him with a genuine smile, he doesn't look intimidating this time--just having a casual and friendly conversation with him like how he did with his friends. "Oh, Sanjaya! Good to see you again!" he greeted him back happily, noticing how cheerful he looked. "I met him after I met my cousin Senja, they were on holiday," Dinda remarked, before standing beside her childhood friend. "Oh, I see..."
Sanju's mood is good this time, looks like he was off-duty since Senja said it was holiday for his friends. "Anyways, I'll be taking a look around the city--my friends also having some fun so take care," he spoke, Ren grinned as he smacked his back that made him laugh a little. "Alright, see ya! Till we meet again!"
Meanwhile, Farlan pondered about this unknown girl, he still yet to find out her true identity--knowing that her real name isn't Rayna and yet she didn't want to expose her true identity. Fandey has the plan to reveal to them after this story; he wants them to see the 'fate' that happened to Ren. He closed his eyes, looking concerned about the Vidyadharas and needed help to protect against this threat of corrupted governing bodies. So, he watched Ren was practicing like usual--before looking at the other friends who are either taking a huge break or practicing on their own. Farlan hummed, before he walk down the stairway of the high temple and looking around for a moment.
Farlan typed on his tablet to check the OUTLAW assassins, turns out their names are 'hidden' and uses a code to conceal their identity--especially their faces are being manipulated to look different but their real faces still hide well in their data. Some are located in Bali, Gili Islands and Java, but this girl... unknown one--he wanted to know where did she came from. Is she came from the other world or the other dimension?
Until, he saw the same unknown girl was sitting near the stairs while some of Sunyata Organization's forces were being alert, with the others--maybe from the acrobats, were training in some tent and practicing their martial arts and martial weaponry including magical elements. He approached the girl with his usual calm face, before he bent down and asked. "So, are you feeling lost?
"I'm an observer."
The unknown girl said to him, looking up at him after that. She looked at his hand, before she grabbed it and pulled herself up while slightly crouching as she glanced at him. "Celica, a Molten Soldier and a Tiryag... who are you?" she asked, Farlan put his hands behind his back as he look forward. "Farlan Adtmadja, what are you doing here?" he asked, returning the questions. "Observing," the girl answered, looking forward at the lake. "Kayana told me to wait here, he has a lot of things to do," she explained, making Farlan knew she was talking about Kohaku--the leader-assassin of OUTLAW.
Celica glanced behind her to see Kohaku walking towards them, in his usual resting bitch face he always has. "Kayana, you're back!" she greeted him happily, the petite younger girl ran towards him as the head of OUTLAW pulled her into his embrace after she tackled him and he got them patting on the top of her head. Celica giggled as she heard him called out to her by her true name, as the girl was smiling fondly. Farlan watched them for a moment, before Kohaku released the girl and look back at him. "Ah, I know you... are you one of Riyanda's allies?" he asked, although he still referred them as their clients.
"Yes, it's me. Mind if I can talk to you?"
Kohaku nodded, before he glanced at Celica and gestured 'keep an eye on him from the distance' from his gaze and she nodded in response. Farlan explained briefly to Kohaku, while the female Molten Soldier was curious about his face when he wanted to speak about the reason why they're here--as she was watching from the distance. "Ah... it's about Celica? Well, she intentionally camouflage her true appearance to blend in and joined this illegal underground operations--surprisingly, she excelled her goals that the whole cult completely had fallen in a matter of minutes," Kohaku explained before he paused. "Due to her secretive and cold nature of her battle tactics, she's actually a ball of joy... a cheerful-looking ball," he stated, seeing the young man still didn't believe that she was an 'assassin' not just an undercover member.
"Are you implying something...?"
Farlan asked, before the underworld assassin narrowed his eyes, slowly got a little intense. "She had her moments, there's no one that can erase the scars she had to endure during the dark era, someone who's lost memories... and had to rely on her instincts to save herself. Someone that I personally adored her ever since," he said, making the light blue haired gulped and he didn't make any single move. "So, how do you OUTLAW works? Like, you're an assassin right? Do you kill people?" he asked bluntly.
Kohaku snorted with a smirk, he seems taunted by that kind of question--but it wasn't his 'normal self', only people who didn't know him and probably should get to know him later as the sun was slowly set. "An assassin? Asses-sin?" he repeated, chuckling before he went silent. His face was unreadable, but it soon transformed into a rather creepy grin and a laugh. "You know it already?"
"You look ugly when you did that," Farlan commented, making Kohaku's face broke into a massive and comical shock as he snapped. "THE FUCK DID YOU JUST SAY?" he yelled, seeing Farlan's blank-but-enchanting poker face made him felt like he was getting annoyed at him. The moment Kohaku calmed himself down, he took a breath and turned towards Celica. She had her eyes shut and covered her mouth as she laughed. "You're lucky for making her laugh, if you made her cry--I will be fucking pissed. Don't try to get on my nerve as I don't know how I will react, I am FUCKING a gentleman, as such--I respect women. The world will change over time and we should do as well."
Woah, Kohaku just 'morphed' from his cold and calm exterior face into a flustered and snappy shit. He can be quite loud, unhinged and excitable when Celica or Byakuya wasn't here--unless he got reminded of his hidden scar. 'What the fuck, he was chill at first until I kinda piss him off... he said something about 'respect women'. Ah, I fucking swear, this group is too strong for our sake and their hidden facade--I hope Indah had fully prepared for their upcoming 'reunion'...'
Farlan thought, his face went pale when he saw Kohaku is being an annoyed-yet-cocky hothead, cracking his knuckles and there's a crazy-ass smile he made just because he pissed him off. "Oi, oi, I didn't mean that!" he protested, before his eyes widened when he tried to avoid the incoming punch from the OUTLAW leader, nearly landed on his face before Kohaku muttered. "If you fucking expose our plans--what will you do?" he warned him, he glanced back at him. The handsome lecturer might be a good-looking guy, but no one is allowed to humiliate and insult him in front of his face or he'll just lose his shit. "I'd rather die."
Pfft, Kohaku just got teased by this light blue-haired and he is already tempted to hit him, but he hold himself back because he might exposed his own information and kept his cool. "I was having my holiday with my friends, like... we need a fucking break you know," Kohaku stated, trying to keep his usual cold tone in his monotonous voice. "And just so you know, Sunyata Organization--or that clown-ass organization... you mentioned of Fandey Salim and Suiko are joining forces to interfere in the cult's plan to dominate the world. We OUTLAW are ordered by the Secret Garden and Indonesian shadow government to NOT intervene until things go down. So, no. We kill not for the money, but to remove the obstacles--our enemies... my organization follows orders from our client, Farlan. And that's the truth."
He sure sounds scary despite his cute, childish pout face. "The truth is ours to know," Kohaku muttered again. "That's the reason why those scums are still wanted--why do you think those WANTED posters still go round? We assassins are tasked to kill high-profiled figures, we do not kill without our boss' orders--but because I'm the OUTLAW leader; I'm the one who's in charge. I like staying low and when the fight becomes a problem that are personal; a huge problem can be a catastrophe or disaster," he explained, before shaking his head. "We can't tell who's our targets, but we do this for our client's request--what kind of requests; we can't tell. Right now, we're on our holiday so don't ask about that--we're not bribed by our own government."
'If we keep asking like this, Kayana will end up not cooperating with us...'
Farlan thought with a frown, even though they have given the golden imperial Ingot to them as a gift--in their eyes; the SHANGRI-LA team are just a client who wanted their enemies to be eliminated or for someone to go against and this might be their battle as a test against their leadership skills. He can sense some strange determination from the OUTLAW leader's eyes, before Celica approached them slowly. "Actually, we can help you guys--just don't expose our existence, don't do anything that will turn us into enemy."
"Alright then, wanna see Riyanda? He surely want to see you guys, but NOT as your client."
Seeing the both of them agrees, they nodded and lead them inside the restaurant. Ren was eating his hearty bowl of pork noodles while he watched Fandey from the distance--seeing him talking with Suiko and Willem to their informants. He felt a tap on his shoulder and he turn his head to see Farlan here, before he froze to see Kohaku again without Celica around (after he told one of his friends to take care of her)... what the fuck. The lecturer raised an eyebrow, seeing his jaw slacked and staring into the distance as if he's... scared, scared at him... oh shit. "Huh? What's with that look? Is that how you greet people you'd like to befriend?"
Oh shit, you should be FUCKING scared because he'd be his target to kill and he doesn't want this lecture to be an enemy-relations. Good thing he was eating outside, so he was safe. "Relax, Riyanda. He was just greeting you from... a healthy distance," Farlan comforted Ren, with a slight smile. "EHHH?? Wait, you need to--"
"Don't worry, as promised... they came along and want to meet you."
Ren slowly turned around, seeing Kohaku being there next to Celica who waved at him and smiled a little. "Also, do something that can make him loosen up," Farlan whispered, making Ren nodded as he had to clown him for a bit and maybe befriend him. "By the way, did you take a shower when you got here?" Ren asked, that question... made Kohaku's coolheaded demeanor broke instantly--he screamed in wrath, embarrassment and fury. "WHY YOU SHITTY BRAT, HOW ABOUT YOU COMING HERE AND I WILL FUCKING KICK YOUR ASS TO SHUT YOURSELF UP! I DID MY FUCKING GYM TRAINING--"
It made him endured his inner laughter, no one can get pissed when he was annoying. Celica cheered him on, the rest of Ren's group was seeing the scene of them interacting and one of them was confused that Kohaku was being a bastard and proud asshole instead of just meeting new friends. "Okay, stop that--you're causing a commotion in this restaurant," Ren whispered, looking at Fandey who's still preoccupied with his units.
Kohaku slammed his palm to his face, he looked like a total mess in front of them and there's a sigh of exasperation from his. "Okay, sorry for my outburst--I was being fucking rude. I didn't mean what I was saying," he apologized, although his tone hinted with a low annoyed voice--he sat down after being asked politely, his attitude switched again and soon he was a changed-man while looking away. "So, you want to what? Help us?" Ren nodded, before Kohaku huffed. "Alright then, why does the world should live in peace?" he asked, Ren didn't expected himself to hear this and there's no way that the commander gave this sort of homework or assignment that have to be done.
"So, the cult world domination. Want more, more and MORE. We want to stop the cult, but we need a physical training--we're not that experienced with physical combat, we only can defend, parry and attack at the same time. We Vidyadhara have their way of their own and well, Sunyata Organization did become our allies but... we want to prove our strong we are--not just against the false deities but humans too, especially they're the one behind this."
That answer... was actually a good explanation, Kohaku agreed with his rational thinking about that the peace should always existed. Kohaku was actually smiling behind his calm exterior as he and the rest of their group were facing their trial to prove their true worth in this matter of emergency--now they're got their hands on the stolen gem, now they went separate ways to deal with criminals, Kohaku was the one who met Ren when they needed help from OUTLAW--just to lure the false gods from the World Government. Now, they have to deal with the last remaining leaders left. "Ah... I see, if you hadn't help everyone... you wouldn't see what really happened. For once, we ourselves are responsible," Kohaku replied.
They have to defeat these forces of evil, if not then it would be troublesome and it took their groups longer to defeat them without sacrifices--especially their close ones. "Alright, we'll give you some combat training--but it might take a long journey for you guys to be strong. Can you be patient? There always be process to become stronger--but there's a limit to it and don't push yourself too hard, okay?" Kohaku asked him--soon, he wanted them to do something about their power output and he also added. "If you want to keep strong, you have to take trainings seriously--like you make it as a routine in your daily life," he explained with a grin.
'Can't turn back the time, he already knew them--he needed an opinion and wanted a real response from us...'
Ren thought, soon he grinned and replied with enthusiasm. "Yes, leave it to us! Just tell us where should we start, we'll do the best we can."
The training was... militaristic, Ren was horrified and shocked by the traps that prepared by Byakuya who just got arrived. "This is our training area... we won't have 'dead' member because you're quite strong but still... your physical body couldn't handle the attacks. The result will be fatal, but you and your Vidyadhara friends WILL endure the pain, will you?" Kohaku asked, Ren gulped--he would like to train themselves to obtain more power by dealing with a severe shock that a physical body couldn't handle. It wasn't dangerous to them but they must learned to be strong and more adaptable in a short period of time. "So, how does this works?"
Byakuya heard his question, before he pushed his frames up with his finger as he studied their expressions. "Deal with the consequences, it's called 'endurance training'--your body is going to get hurt, it might need months to heal but you can train yourself at home. We mostly took a few days for ourselves... after that, we can adjust it to your group," Byakuya stated, before glancing over at him. "In that case, you will master all about the assassination strategies."
Why is it militaristic? Because one; there's a dummy with something really hard inside and made Ren had to make a stronger punch to break through the dummy's shell--focusing their energy, and two; there are set of 'physical power scale test' they must went through and able to know which weapon is stronger and more likely better for their main character, and three; some areas has some traps from water, to the set of balls that pummeled or crushed your head and or legs if you were too slow.
This... is going to be a long day.
On the other side, Sadana was meeting with Fandey casually with a smile--rolling the dice as they were playing monopoly to gain each other's trust. The magician wondered why is this Vidyadhara so persistent? He also saw Sakura was talking happily with the other people and his crew, even Ruanyi entertaining them (Kuran and Tenzing are training somewhere so he doesn't know where they are just yet). Suiko was listening to them, fanning herself as she was invested with their tales. "Pray tell... Fandey Salim," Sadana spoke with a wicked smile, making him hummed while playing with the chips. "What makes you interested in wanting the truth about this world?"
Fandey narrowed his eyes at his question, before he smirked. "Simple, because there's so many mysteries that still folded around this world... Chelsea Wijaya's works made me inspired to make this organization not about justice--but it's about discovering the real side of the story about how Phantom Samsara exists, you know what I mean... Sadana," he answered. Sadana merely placed the bet on him, making him flinched a little but retaining his composure. "Ah ah, it's not just that--you also recruiting a deity like Suiko in your organization--there's more than just one, no?"
'Urgh... Sadana, you're making things complicated not only once!'
The magician thought with a glare, until he shrieked to see Suiko caught him trying to cheat and he sighed. "Fine... I guess I'll tell you about everything, but... I'll give you the important parts instead--only if you give me something in return--" he paused when Ren placed a golden imperial Ingot in front of them as he had a snicker escaped from his mouth, Fandey's eyes were sparkling by the sight of the golden color; until he realized what he was doing and shake his head--before he huffed. "Alright, you ask for it--you'll get it."
