"Huh, you guys need a house?"

Kazuya had to beg for Kohaku's help because he has the money to buy the house for them, he was listening to Konami the whole fucking time and he had no choice but to do this shit. "Fine... but since you helped me with my stuff last month, I will give you some compensation even though it was once in a lifetime," Kohaku stated, while Byakuya glared at Kazuya for trying to owe a debt to him. "Hyde's house got burned," she muttered, making his eyes widened. "What?! Who the fuck is Hyde?" he asked. Oh right, they only know Heinrey--not Hyde; which is a relief. "Ehh... I'll make you see him after this."

There was somewhat a bit of conflict between Hyde and Shūhei, because the Māra vampire somewhat forbidding him from meeting Shiro ever again--which kind of upsetting Shūhei of blaming himself. Konami reassured that Shiro just wanted to protect him, making him even more convinced (deep down Hyde's words are much hurtful) and she had to be neutral for them. "Also, a certain someone will be staying with you to monitor your house--are you employed or not?" Kohaku asked, she nodded as she folded her arms. "We just finished our studies with Ren so... he's focusing on his Floating Restaurant of the Gods, I'm selling some ancient Chinese items like coins, Ingots and something valuable for people. Also, I already become a junior researcher."

Good, looks like she's preparing for the next step to go to college with her friends after this is over. Kazuya was so proud at how she was able to make business well, the people in here also coming to meet Konami everyday just to buy her valuable items and she gained some cash--she also has a black card with her. "Who's the monitor?" she asked, he shrugged. "Forgot her name, it looks like one of my friends' friend and I don't know if she knows her... even that guy's friend."

Turns out it was a tomboyish girl with light orange blonde messy shoulder-length hair with orange locks on her thick bangs over her turquoise-blue eyes and porcelain complexion, with a small canines on her teeth. She wears a loose light cyan-green collared formal loose shirt with folded sleeves to her elbows, along brownish-black jacket with gold buttons and white pants tucked into her black knee-length boots. For some reason, Konami saw something 'off' that she can't identify from her--it's like some kind of façade because the girl wears a sunglasses with chained strings. "Howdy! I'm Eiko Manae, I'll be the house monitor for you guys!"

Konami smiled nervously at her, trying to gain her trust even though she has trust issues. "Oh... hello, Konami Yuzuki..." she introduced herself with somewhat awkward smile, before Eiko sighed. "I know that, some people in here are different than the ones in my city--but whatever. You guys will be staying in this house, I'll be monitoring this place, so if you need me--just let me know and I'll make a group chat for you guys," she explained.

The house was simple but enough for six people inside, there's television, bathroom, kitchen, laundry room and many things that are available for them. Surprisingly, Kohaku added a security measures in case there are intruders trying to break through the house--which means there will be hidden camera, the monitor room is hidden but it'll be revealed when they received the key from him. "If I saw a fucking criminal doing nasty stuff to the people inside the house, I'll fucking sue him," he said. The tenants were surprised he's giving Kohaku their money for renting the house until the end of the contract, which is not entirely bad since they'll be living in peace.

'If there's another burning... I'll blame it on Shūhei...' Hyde thought, while Kohaku couldn't care less. "Whatever, do whatever you want with the house--just don't try to do something dangerous with it," he added to the three of them.

Shiro was surprised at how kind Kohaku is, while the Indonesian knew that these three students from Surabaya Cultural School also need a place to stay. He wanted to thank him for helping them, even Ren who brought them here but didn't know that Kohaku will be in charge of guarding this island. They began to survey around the house, it was simple and clean--there also water heater and bathtub--everything is perfect; even though technically it was Eiko's home.

"Finally... a place to stay..."

Konami said with a smile, entering her room and placed her stuff inside and decorate her room as well. Hyde take a look around as well after he grabbed his stuff and Shiro's as they moved out from there, unbeknownst that Shiro brought something with him without letting Konami and Hyde know about it. Well, it's obvious that Shūhei is afraid of these two because one; Konami has a somewhat annoyingly close eye and she can mark him anywhere in the house because she is the 'boss'--it doesn't mattered if Hyde is more experienced than her, she is the older despite going to turn eighteen soon and two; Hyde is the eldest and he always has a cautious attitude--last but not least three; Konami might tell Hyde even though it was unlikely.

Well, Shiro is a good liar so Hyde can't tell shit if he lies or not.

After an hour, they began to get comfortable.

Shiro set the bag on the floor, looking at Shūhei peeking his head in his fox form and he opened the door a bit more for him. "Come in," he said, smiling at him. "What do you think?" the fox listens as he popped out and jumped on the bed--it feels comfy as the bed was enough for two people. "It's nice, I already like it here," Shūhei spoke, before Shiro sat down on the bedside. He hoped Konami and Hyde are behaving around the house, but he has to let them off the hook for a bit so he can ask Shūhei about himself.

"Can I sleep in here...?"

Shūhei asked, tilting his head to the side as he's like saying 'please' and Shiro laughed. "Of course," he answered, petting his fox ears that made the fox purred. Shūhei was laying his head on the pillow with his tail wagging, eyes closed in enjoyment, he seems to like his soft paws over his ears. "You're quite cute, y'know," Shiro teased, before the fox growled angrily--but had to keep it down or else the other two would be hear it. "Shut up!"

Konami kept everything organize as she tries to blend with them to help them build a friendship, she began to befriend with Eiko and she was glad she had to get along with her house monitor. Although she doesn't always appear often, they welcomed her because of her friendly nature; somewhat relaxed despite her tomboyish attitude. She can tell how different it is here, she was supposed to be continuing her research... but since it wasn't a big deal to her.

Hyde walked around the place, looking around. He was still pretty hungry, he could drink Konami's blood but that would bring up since he was contracted to her. He went upstairs, looking for a room. He decided to pick one that was to the right next to Konami's, bringing his bag and decided to enter the room--unpacking and decorating his stuff.

Konami walked out as she fixed her scarf, before she decided to check on Hyde as she knocked on his door. "Hyde, it's me... can I come in?" she asked, Hyde listens as he sat down and he replied. "Come in," he told her, allowing her to enter inside and close the door behind her. "Uhm... are you hungry? Like, thirsty for blood?" she asked, he simply nodded because seriously his blood thirst is fucking annoying honestly. His thirst is unpredictable, so he can't tell when he will get thirsty. "You can drink my blood... if you like," she muttered, she indeed volunteered by herself as he stand up and approached her. "Alright then."

"Also, is there a difference of getting bit on the neck or the wrist...?" she added, while she got flustered when he goes forward.

Hyde looked at her, seeing her cheeks reddened and wondered why. He removed her scarf from around her neck, while he explained to her. "Usually, if I were to bite someone I'm contracted with--that would just mean we're preparing for a fight. However, it may just apply to wrist bites," he said, as he lifted her chin. "That was all."

'Oh right, which means... it doesn't affect on my neck then...' Konami thought, before she nodded. "I see... so it was a different case, which means there's no effect..." she muttered.

Hyde nodded, doing so anyway as he turned her head slightly. He then leaned forward and bit her neck, starting to drink some of her blood that made Konami bit her lips slightly. It was painful, but it wasn't her first time--she forgot how many times did her friend drank her blood, so it doesn't mattered for her... as long she doesn't feel exhausted or sick like usual. 'Wait... I didn't ask how many litre he can actually drink,' she thought as she began to feel a bit lightheaded when she feel her strength begins to deplete--but to Hyde that means he should stop drinking from her, so he does. "Hyde..." she whispered.

Hyde continue to drink her blood until he heard her call his name, so he stopped by pulling out his fangs. "Okay, Konami," he said with his usual smile. Konami could see his fangs aren't that visible but enough for him to hide them, before she regained her strength and fixed her scarf. "Sheesh, you didn't tell me how many litres that you can drink..." she muttered. Hyde smiled at her, before he heard the whisper of his hedgehog hiding in his pocket.

He sighed to himself, pinching the side of his nose. He knows he's not wrong about it, but he had to make her comfortable--despite her nervous yet kind demeanor. Well, she reminds him of Emily--but Konami is mostly not looking for peace; she just want to understand how people would possibly work in both world for these ten years, she also want to make friendships with others despite she prefers being alone. "She's important, don't even think I'd be letting her going back to hell," Hyde stated as he glanced at the mirror.

Konami regained her senses after closing her eyes and humming to herself, before she saw his hair had a streak of brown tips in his bangs of his blond hair. They heard Shiro talked with the fox from outside his bedroom, at first Konami hasn't suspected anything fully yet, but Hyde? He's very keen with detecting a culprit. So, he's aware about Shiro is keeping a secret. "Did you hear that?" she asked.

"Shiro is keeping a secret... I don't remember he brought an animal here, even though I forbid him..."

Hyde is aware that Shiro is keeping a secret from him, it made him scowled in disappointment at the younger albino. He won't mind him having Shūhei staying in his room, but he didn't just brought an animal to make Hyde had to scold the fuck out of him.

Few days later, they stayed in the house and their life went on. Konami heard that Jilian held a festival in the night, which means all of them are invited even the people in this town. So, she watched television as she watched Hyde entered the bathroom. "Are you taking a bath?" she asked, because she might take turns so she wanted to make sure.

"Yeah, Eiko told us about the festival, I was planning to attend it," he replied, carrying a towel and his clothes, before closing the door. Konami nodded, before she laid on the couch and watching television for herself. She kept her shoulder-length auburn short hair in usual style with messy bangs over her magenta-red eyes, even her fair complexion and fixing her spectacles. She wears a black tank-top underneath her white sweater with large pink-horizontal stripes, dark blue shorts and black tights--with feet bracelets that concealed her black boots and her flower too. "I need comedy..."

Konami muttered, before she encountered a television channel in which it was a lot funnier for her. She changed to the sitcom, laughing a little at the jokes. Shiro was making rice ball in the kitchen for Shūhei, only to see Konami watching television while laying on the couch--before walking out and watch it with her. "It's a funny one," she said, before chuckling from the part of the dialogues. "There'll be festival tonight, you and Shūhei are going together with Hyde and I."

"Sure, maybe it's a friendly bonding time," Shiro smiled, Konami fixed her spectacles as she heard Hyde came out and she whistled. "That's quick, you usually fell asleep during bath," she teased, while Hyde just finished getting dressed to his formal black shirt with rolled sleeves to his elbows and gray pants. "I hear that," he muttered. Konami laughed as she rose up and getting herself to shower with the towel and clothes, closing the bathroom door behind her. Shiro was tempted to tease their relationship, are they friends or more--he knew it was likely the second option.

Shūhei, now in his human form watched the television while sitting on the floor--showing the usual drama, which made him cringe--he was a boy after all, so he won't necessarily appreciate women being forced into marriage in a traditional family. "Hey, how the fuck did you get here?!" Hyde snapped at him, before the latter turned his head and he smirked. "Fooled you," he replied, while the former angrily approached him and grabbed the collar of his blazer. "Don't make me hurt you, brat," he growled, making Shiro saw him yelped and ran off from him--causing Shiro to pick up Shūhei after this and had to get changed. "I'll deal with it later..."

Konami just walked out in her festival attire, a white frilled sleeveless dress with straps and reaching her knees, black blazer with gold necklace around her neck and black tights with dark brown shoes with feet bracelets. She also wears a white headband with the white flower on the side of her head, with a pair of bracelets once her friends got their outfits on. She clings her arm around Hyde despite she's slightly shorter than him, while Shiro wears a white shirt with black tie and rolled sleeves to his elbows and loose black jeans, Shūhei wears a dark blue blazer-like uniform over his white formal shirt with black tie and wears dark blue short pants on his knees--in addition of his black socks and dark brown sneakers.

The festival was crowded with people, dancing, chatting, etc. Konami laughed while Shūhei danced with them and Hyde have to behave for the sake of the people; otherwise he might getting caught for being a Māra vampire (Konami and Eiko are humans, Shiro and Shūhei are supernaturals like Hyde) and he decided to buy something to eat. "So, who's the spirit that possessed you earlier?" he asked, Shūhei glanced at Shiro as he grinned. "Nah, that was my mother. She's quite insane and almost killed me, but I survived--turns out she also got angry because Konami's kick hurt me a lot," he explained.

Well, fuck.

"At least you can channel him, Shiro, since you could heal if she possesses Shūhei--but still be careful because she might lose her temper and shit," Hyde warned, remembering how mad he was because the house got burned and Konami had to become the mediator. "Her name is... Kasai, I think there's someone who has that name but that's her name," Shūhei told Shiro, trying not to get intimidated by his spirited mother--who has youthful appearance of light orange long hair with purple-red streaks and purple-colored eyes with alabaster complexion. She wears a red velvet dress with long sleeves and collars under her black hooded cape, she also has red flower on the side of her head. Kasai is very beautiful, that's for sure--but she's very ruthless and vengeful after her death by her ex-husband in the past; making her like this.

Kasai scoffed when she listens to them with annoyed expression, before she heard Shūhei teased about Konami and Hyde's relationship (while they ignored him) even Kasai trolled them. "Just look at how these two are hanging with each other," she muttered, before Shiro apologized for his behavior and Shūhei was able to tone down his trolling attitude. Yet, Kasai was mocking their impression. "Konami, I love you so much and I would protect you so we can marry like what those guys told us!" she said in sarcastic voice, while Shūhei laughed his ass off and Shiro snorted at how absurd they are.

Konami was closing her eyes, a comical red tick mark popped on her head as Hyde knitted his eyebrows together--honestly it's not funny but now it's the time for those four (since he counted Eiko on this) to laugh, and he needed to keep an eye on Eiko. "That's enough, Shūhei. If you don't stop, you and I are going to have a talk later..." he muttered, allowing the latter to gulped in fear by the creepy glare he never thought someone like Hyde could pull off and Shiro tried to calm him down. Konami noticed how somber Shūhei became after he scolded him, even when Shiro tried to cheer him up--so she distracted them with a smile. "How about we look for something to eat? Is that okay with you guys?"

Shūhei's eyes sparked happily when Konami told them that, to make up for what Hyde said. "Yay! Thank you, Konami!" he thanked her, before they went on separate ways. "Hyde, want to get something to eat?" she asked, Hyde nodded--since Konami is the only responsible adult within the bunch of the teenagers. She held his hand before Konami went ahead to find some food, letting them have their fun. "Hey, want to take a polaroid together?" she asked, he agreed to take a few photos together for memories. Well, at least this was somewhat to end their night early. "Do you want some snacks?" she asked, until she held a strawberry cream churro, giving Hyde one--of course, it seems like a date right now (even though they're close friends... for now).

They walked around the festival, meeting Jilian and the rest like Kohaku and his friends--even Kazuya who was her older brother and Eiko was selling like usual; with many customers. "Can I ask you something?" Hyde asked her, tucking his hands inside his pockets. Konami stopped walking when he asked that, noticing he's slightly grim at the question he wanted to ask. "Yeah, go ahead," she said, he tried to keep up his stern expression before he started. "You keep clinging to me like we're close, you always get flustered whenever you're around me and... you also embarrassed a lot just by having me around. Can you explain like... why are you like this?"

Konami fell silent, is this the right moment for her... to confess her feelings towards him? Yeah, she finally felt attracted to him... because he's cool, kind yet creepy; and brave--after a year later. She glanced at him, but he didn't gave a different expression--he remained solemnly serious as she looked away. It took her seconds to look back at him, though she might look down a bit. "Honestly, I... whenever I'm with you, talk to you and just by spending some time with you. I always feel like... I feel happy, comfortable and... it made me wanna just... hold your hands, or give you a hug."

She began to fiddle her fingers together, as she continued. "For a few days, before the incident occurred; I didn't realize that I began to feel something more than just an acquaintance, even if you're just teasing me and keep me away from those people who hated you. I know you have bad points, yet you also have flaws... not everyone can accept your flaws but me. Besides, the few time we always met were you know... in the past," she smiled at the past memory between them, when she was in high school before the Phantom Eruption starts. "I... really adore you Hyde," she admitted, another way of saying 'I love you'.

Although she didn't said the actual word, she will probably wait for him to return his answer or it might took him a while. Her friends knew about it except Kazuya and the rest, but she let him be--he has his own life. Konami closed her eyes, praying that she won't get rejected harshly by him. Hyde was surprised by her confession, not gonna lie--he was flattered at least. Because after a few years, she had trust issues for a reason like how she got abandoned by her best friends--her classmates. And after knowing what she had to go through, well--except the whole her past, he felt bad. He merely smiled at her, because his answer is obvious that he liked her back.

This is basically a gesture for dating, he liked her in a friendly way since he realized that the second time they met--it might be more than just a friendly gestures. Konami blinked after she got spooked, before she clasped her hands in front of him. "I'm glad to be with you, Hyde. Let's be together no matter what, until the end," she said, before taking a step forward towards him and continued while looking up at him. "So, I'm ready for this new step in our life."

He saw that she took a step closer to him and he tilted his head, listening to her. "How unfortunate that you ran into me," he said with a smirk, besides he was already bloodthirsty. Even though she was already looking up to him, he cupped her chin to keep her head up. He then lean closer to her, and kissed her. Konami's eyes grew wide, her cheeks burning hot and becoming very much more aware of the surroundings. Then, she closed her eyes and kissed him back in return.

Hyde was still pretty hungry so he pulled away, he was slightly surprised that she kissed him back. He didn't stop to ask as he assumed that she just let him be, so he tilted his head a bit and bit into her neck. Konami stifled her yelp, her eyes closed as her cheeks turned bright crimson. She's fine with him drinking her blood, even before--when they first met. "H-Hyde... we're... in public..." she muttered, clenching her fingers on his sleeves.

He had drunk her blood until until he was no longer hungry, after he hold back his hunger. He pulled away from her and wiped the remaining blood from her neck with his thumb, then he licked his thumb. "Sorry, I was a little hungry," he admitted, licking his lips and wipe his thumb. Konami was still dazed a little, it feels so weird because he drank it more than just a litre. She had been snapped back to the real world as she heard his reply, with the blush still on her face. "It's fine... but... next time, you need to ask for my permission first..." she said with a sigh, before she covered her mouth. "Also, that was... a nice confession... thank you for your answer..."

Konami added, still flustered from that earlier. Hyde saw her cheeks blushing and he smiled a little--he didn't expect her to have him ask permission first, but it was respectful. However, it could be a payback for teasing him. "Yeah, I'll ask permission next time," he agreed, nodding when she thanked him. Usually, he's quite cruel and love to see people suffer (typical Māra vampire) since he's a nihilistic individual--but there are at times when he can be calm. As for Konami, she has a thing for bad boys and crazy psycho like Hyde--even though he find it weird; she found them are interesting like her in general.

"Great! Where do we go now?"

She asked with a grin, before he scratched the back of his head and looked around; trying to find something to do in this place. "Oh right, we got to check Shiro and Shūhei first... since they were having their fun with each other and stuff," she stated, trying to light up the mood before he nodded. Konami smiled before glancing at the fireworks in the night sky with sparkles in her eyes, before she walk back with him--holding hands.

Shiro and Shūhei just got their polaroid photos done, before they reunited with Konami and Hyde. "Are you guys having fun?" she asked them with a smile, Shiro nodded before turning to Konami. "Yeah, Kohaku introduced to us his friends and Eiko also quite fun to hang with. Turns out there are new tourists, so we started talking with them," he explained, while Shūhei rolled his eyes before tucking his hands inside his pockets; not feeling entertained for the first time. "Yeah yeah..." he muttered, but seriously he wanted to stay with them in Eiko's house--but he hoped that they will accept him. So, they headed back home including Eiko who's in charge of the house. "Alright, Shūhei. You're allowed to stay with us, but no fire okay?" Konami permitted.

Shūhei cheered happily when he's allowed to stay with them, before Shiro smiled and Eiko gave a thumbs up. "Yup, security measures are already installed... not even an ungodly powers can break it," she reassured with a laugh, knowing how strong they are but she used Hyde as a warning for her not to fail her job or the hell would rage the earth to burn. "I'll be back to work with the festival, but I'll monitor you guys and the house too," she stated with a salute, before they went to their own places.

While they arrived at home, Shiro plopped on the couch--resting his body while stretching and cracked his knuckles, making Shūhei plopped himself next to him. Konami went upstairs with Hyde before they headed to their respective rooms, she became embarrassed just because of the event that had happened earlier so she covered her face with her hands to get herself together. 'Jerk... he drank so much like last week and he don't even wait for a permission, tsk... tsk...'

Hyde gave a small smile, watching her embarrassed reactions--realizing how cute and childish she is right now. "What's wrong? I got a bit thirsty, so I wanted to satisfy myself first," he teased, but not making it clear he just did it for fun. Konami began to pout when he teased her further, making her cheeks puffed with the sass in her. "Shut up!" she whined, before turning away and walked inside her room to feel embarrassed for a bit... alone.

The next day...

Konami just finished some errands that Eiko requested her and Hyde today, so they headed back home in the morning. "Phew... also, hey Shiro," she greeted, seeing him nodded while eating his popcorn in the living room--watching television while Shūhei was in the kitchen making something or whatever. "That was hectic... catching that thing for Jillian..." she grumbled, while Hyde walked beside her to the stairway. "You know... this isn't the first time we hugged, right?" Konami asked, wrapping her arms around his shoulders.

Hyde stopped at the top of the stairs, seeing her greeting Shiro and saw that he's being himself. Then, he saw her that she put her arms around his neck and so--he put his around her waist. Hyde smiled at her and tilted his head slightly, hearing her question. "Well, I've hugged you, haven't I?" he replied to her, before she blushed. "Yeah... even I still remember like how you kissed me... when we're alone," she stuttered.

Shiro listens to them in the stairway behind him, he made a disgusted face and turning the volume up on the television to prevent him hearing any flirty conversations or whatever--those aren't for his ears anyway. 'Oh my fucking god, just get it over with,' he thought in annoyance. Hyde gave a chuckle when she was about to fell, causing her to tighten her grip. "What's with that look on your face?" he asked, his head cocked slightly. "N-Not in here! In the room!" she stated, pulling away from him.

"Ughhh..." Shiro muttered, he can't take this anymore. He realized they're going to be more flirty to each other... and that's just not his kind of thing, in any way. He continued eating his popcorn, wondering what taking Shūhei so long--maybe he just didn't see him in the kitchen and he set the popcorn down on the table.

Hyde looked at her when she pulled away from him once she gained her stand, he lead her to her bedroom so that they weren't standing in the middle of the hall. "Well, are you talking about like this?" he asked, as he kissed her on the lips. Konami flinched when he did that, she almost lost her balance. She felt like... he was intending to make out with her. But she's fine with that. Konami return their kiss by slightly wrapped her arms around his neck and kiss him back, doing so until they pulled away by each other to take a breather--her cheeks were flushed in red.

Hyde saw that she was red, he chuckled a little. "You're so cute, Konami," he said to her, moving some of her hair behind her ear--showing the flower more as it was moved from the side of her head to her ear. He wondered if she would've hated him if she had never freed him from the prison, and they met in different way--just like him with Rosie. "I've always known what you meant; I just like to see how embarrassed you get," he told her with a small chuckle. Since they were also connected, he could sense her thoughts--which is why she should have a clear resolve and not to get too emotional during fights if faced many.

"Shut up... don't call me cute," Konami denied, even though she's blushing. Her feelings for Hyde is growing a bit and she really wants him to be with her, always with her. She knew the love hurts her, but how can you... be with him when he's immortal and she's just a human being? It made her doubt her heart to accept it. "I will say it as many times I'd like, you are incredibly adorable--even Shiro, Shūhei and Eiko said the same thing," he stated, although--Eiko wasn't entirely there since her mood always shifted whenever there are romantic things. "Stop, I'm not adorable..." she grumbled.

He ignored her words and her pouty face, and continued on. "You may have an attitude, but we both knew what that's like," he said to her, and leaned close to her. Konami was getting flustered as she looked at him, feeling his lips touched her cheek and... her neck. He went through her neck, on the other side. "Y-You're not... taking my blood..." she stuttered in surprise, before he spoke into her skin. "You're wrong."

Konami couldn't tell if he was teasing her again or if he wasn't, but she didn't move away from him. Hyde stood still for a second, then he stood up straight and moved away from her. "Honestly, how did Shiro being so shy until he gets annoyed," he said, before taking a glance at the book stack which was nearly finished. Konami finally can take a breather after having no more touches on her neck, before she took a small cloth and rub it in her neck; wetting the fabric after she grab some water from her nightstand cup. "No idea, he's quite... close to Shūhei you know."

Hyde agreed, he knew that Shiro only attracted to guys so there was no particular girl he liked--while Hyde is into opposite like Konami and Shūhei can be either way like Eiko. "By the way, do you like backyard theater ensemble? Or live theatre? If so, I bet you know William Shakespeare's plays..." she asked, seeing her boyfriend nodded. "Yeah, I liked seeing music performance live or playing classical music," he replied with a soft sigh. "Like his works, they sound like poems though with rhythm."

"Yeah, they're gorgeous... so are his words when his characters speak them," she added, she liked performing Shakespeare's plays since high school but it was sorta common for her after she finished since her friends were thinking she was quite a... star? Just because of her elegant ways of playing Shakespeare's character in junior high and later, senior high--she wasn't used to all that though, due to their fame after she graduates from high school. "I played in live theatre when I was in high school, Shiro and Shūhei were part of it as well..." she muttered, which Hyde was quite interested at and he asked. "Who did you portrayed?"

Yes, she's one of the females he acknowledged because of her ability to work with an intelligent mind and her unbalanced behavior before her death. "Really?" he asked, and she turned to Hyde when he reacted--clearly for a surprise. "Yeah, but... I'm so cringey... I'm so clumsy and shy like anyone else," she sighed, covering her face that means her red cheeks when he chuckled. "I can see that."

"I think you'd be a good Hamlet."

"Me? Isn't that a male's role...?" Hyde asked, didn't expected her to say that and yet... he kinda like it, so he will read Hamlet or something while Konami laughed before nodding. "Yeah, or you can be Romeo and I might as well be Juliet if you..." she yelped when he began his 'act' in front of her, even though he was just citing a quote. "To be, or not to be," he cited, before he hold her hand. "That is the question."

Konami was flustered at his impromptu act, he's quite good at it and he was quite experienced in acting out Shakespeare's quotes, she also wished he could act it on the stage--but his time is more important than that. He made a bow, before he reverted back into his hedgehog form and she goes to pick him up with her hands. "Well, you're quite cute as a hedgehog, y'know," she said with a smile, Hyde saw her as she pick him up. "Hey, don't call me cute," he said as he looked at her. That was one thing he didn't like about his hedgehog form was that... everyone thought he was cute, no matter what personality he did. Oh well, it was nothing he could really help with.

"Do you want me to call you attractive? Well, nevermind," Konami said, sitting on the bed and placed the hedgehog on her lap. When she asked him that, he was about to say something--but she kinda stopped there. "Do you enjoy classical music too?" she asked, caressing his long spikes. He glanced around the room to see posters when she said about the topic, he laid his head down on her legs as if to think about it. "I enjoyed classical music, yes," he answered, yawning. "Well, I can play one piece with my violin for you," she recommended as she placed the hedgehog on her side, standing up to get her violin case beside her study desk.

"Oh really?"

Hyde spoke, glancing up at her when she spoke about playing a violin. "Do you have one with you right now?" he asked as he changed back into his vampire form, sitting on the bedside. Konami nodded while unzipping the case to reveal the violin and its bow, before holding the wooden instrument in one hand and other--held the bow. "Would you like to watch me play?" she asked. Hyde removed his shoes, folding his legs up the bed and leaned back with his hands. "Of course I'll watch you play," he said. He was curious at how good she is with her violin, since she also took music class in her school.

Konami decided to play Für Elise as she closed her eyes, she usually need Minus One or piano accompaniment but this time she practiced a lot to prove that her solo doesn't have to have someone to accompany her and she had a lot of confidence to do it. Not in competitive level but, she can prove herself she had fun in playing. But the most important one, is doing it for her. She took a deep breath and began her work on the piece. Hyde watched her as she started to play, and his eyes didn't leave hers. He was listening to every note she played, he didn't tune out. Usually, when he heard others play some notes of classical music with smallest mistakes--he would get very annoyed and have the urge to beat their brains out and all. But he really liked how she played it, and it gave him such a nice feeling since she's talented with it.

Once she starts playing the violin until the piece is finished, he was smiling at how beautiful it sounded. He closed his eyes as well, enjoying the calm music. He recalled the piece that made by Beethoven itself, played by one of his past Masters. Hyde sat up and swayed his hands side to side, as if he was the conductor of the orchestra. When she finished, he opened his eyes and clapped his hands together. "Beautiful, beautiful, encore, encore," he congratulated her performance for him. He shifted a bit, he figured that she should play a bit more.

Konami laughed nervously when he wanted another, she kinda know that he was passionate about classical music and she might as well played some more--one more time. "Ehehe... thanks, I can't skip my practice anyway," she stated, before she felt Hyde's fingers on her chin. Konami turned to look at him, gazing at his red orbs. "Is there a problem, Hyde?" she asked, placing her right hand on his left. "One more thing... I love you, Konami..." he whispered.

She stared at him blankly at what he just said, before she glanced away and scratched her hair with nervous smile. "Really? Me too... I love you too..." she admitted, hiding her face a little and Hyde noticed her ears are blushing hot red. "Your ears..."

"They're still red, damn it..."

After saying their 3 words and blushing at each other, Hyde decided to leave the room when he head to the door of his room. He closed the door, covering his face. "I can't believe I said it," he muttered, remembering his final moments before the Phantom Eruption. He was really in love with Emily, and he even said those 3 words to her as well. Perhaps, the time has changed... confessing to Konami is much different--she may have Emily's personality; but the difference is Konami has more boldness in her.
