Chapter VII: Bright Moon at Autumn's Dawn

*ೃ༄

Next morning--

Ren was walking down the corridor of the Floating Restaurant of the Gods' abode, carrying a basket full of herbs that he picked from the gardens outside of the restaurant. He feel guilty for leaving the other gods behind because of the situation happening in Surabaya last night--Kuran's warning about the upcoming war made him realized that they shouldn't ignore this issue. 'This is the first time I'm working in the garden, but I think I'll enjoy it.'

Ren thought, he was wearing his new attributes which is his new main attire--he was wearing a black Chinese-collared long-sleeved robe that reached his waist with dark red giant padma batik motifs and patterns along a white accents in the middle. He wears a black changshan underneath with two black belts around his waist which hung a red jade sachet on his left waist, wearing a black long loose pants with black knee-length boots that has red back heels on them and he wears a black fingerless gloves. He retained his short amber brown hair with long bangs, he retained his porcelain complexion and olive-blue eyes like usual.

Kaizo retained his dark violet-black short hair that has light-violet streaks under his ears with long bangs almost covering his dark brown eyes and his alabaster complexion, but he wears a black turtleneck with black sleeveless kimono tunic and dark blue-gold obi around his waist. He wears a white haori with patterns of dark and light blue tsunami waves, a black fingerless gloves and black knee-length boots. Turns out he carries his katana after Sakura given him the new sword that was enhanced by magic that granted him to wield it.

Izumo wears a black sleeveless turtleneck bodysuit underneath his dark blue kimono-like robe with golden obi with a large bowtie on the front, along a light blue snowflake patterns and white ribbon at the end of his furisode sleeves. Wearing a black pants and dark brown knee-length boots, his platinum blonde hair almost covering his turquoise-blue eyes and his neckline--keeping his pale complexion as he wears a black fingerless gloves.

And lastly, Hakuren wears a white formal shirt over her black sleeveless turtleneck with dark Prussian blue cropped blazer with black tie and long furisode--in addition of black short pants, dark brown tights and black knee-length heeled boots with laces. Which she has red ribbons and accessories on her uniform, her snow-white long hair was cut into her neckline--leaving her bangs loose on her dark blue eyes and her chest; her complexion remains porcelain as ever.

Ren entered the garden that surrounded the Floating Restaurant of the Gods' abode. He saw many herbs and vegetables planted in the garden and the flowers blooming beautifully due to the warm rays of the sun. As he take out the heirloom; the burr puzzle that he solved recently. "Kaizo, what do you think will happen to our journey in finding the other gods?" Ren asked, seeing his other two friends helping him harvesting the plants--Kaizo only narrowed his eyes, picking some flowers before he answered him. "Well, we have much to do to achieve that, right? It's gonna be really hard, but it's possible," he replied, though he didn't see his life will have the same ending as Ren's (as Kuran is the God of Pledge)--he still respect his decisions and his choices.

Ren nodded in agreement, looking away from him with an empty look on his face and sat down on a chair, and leaned against the back of it with his legs crossed over the table. "Sorry, I'm still not in the best mood right now," Ren mumbled softly, closing his eyes. Hakuren held a basket full of plants, she knew he was trying to overcome his grief and the trauma itself, he will learn how to live with the loss.

He was reading about the history of the war between the gods and the Phantom Beasts after knowing about his past life, Kuran while sipping his tea and munching the sandwich on the porch in the afternoon. He hold the heirloom for a moment as he read the Chinese characters that encrypted on the burr puzzle--it seems like a key to unlocking the entrance into another realm to enter the secret chamber. The secrets revealed something about the history where the God of Pledge managed to led the other gods to win against the Phantom Beasts who invaded the mortal world.

The old writing said:

「 富谷女王女神,幸運者也是福貴與喜樂。」

Ren knew it was written in Mandarin, he muttered the translation with his perfect Chinese accent--which was something he used to do to keep up his linguistic talent. His thoughts of why had the sudden interest of learning the language intrigued him, while he glanced over the burr puzzle that belonged to him; the Memory of Dust. It contains a magic of recalling the memories of the previous owners such as their past lives, and how to unlock the hidden rooms or barriers in the restaurant. His mood reverted back into a calm person, somewhat showing no sadness when someone call him.

"Ren! We're eating dinner, dummy!" Izumo exclaimed loudly, shaking his shoulders. Ren opened his eyes slowly and noticed the smile on Izumo's face when he realized that he called his friend. He finally smiled after such long time as if he has no trouble with his life anymore, his heart felt lighter, his mind was clear and he has something to move on from. "Okay," Ren replied, before his voice has a slight change. He's not alone, there's no need to dwell into the past.

Sakura cheered them up by giving them the Chinese-Indonesian delicacies, there's options of no pork and pork only--but they were in the mood for pork food and they want to eat them. Ren grabbed the chopsticks to eat his pork noodle with fried wonton and century eggs in a broth, while the others eating their respective foods from pork meatballs to braised pork belly in soy garlic sauce. There are various kind of food and dishes that Ren remember well, even if he forgot about his memories and feelings--he's still the same person, having different memories and his experiences changed his actions. "He's better now, his anxiety is fading away and I can see the spark returning in his eyes," Izumo mumbled softly to Kaizo, Hakuren and Sakura.

Sakura looks amused as always, well... since she didn't know how to explain the concept of therapy and its usage. But they agreed the therapy she set for Ren made him get his old personality back--both happy and angry, he also behaved normally like he used to be. Izumo was plotting to prank him again, so he will have the chance. All of them ate together and talked about each other, while listening to Sakura's tales about her past life. They tell her how interesting her stories were.

Ren was eating like usual, before he added the spice on his food since he absolutely adored spicy food, since he has sensitive to strong and pungent taste in his tongue, he always been preferred food with a subtle flavor. Ren found his happiness and his smile returned as he could feel his heavy burden from his past finally lift from his shoulders, he finally could cope with his fears and regrets. This time, the wound of trauma has been healing and he no longer was anxious when he was told he wasn't alone and he wasn't the only one. This time, when he can start anew and his dreams returning. "Oh right, can I order century egg rice porridge, Sakura?" Izumo asked.

"Ah, yes! Coming right up~♥︎"

Sakura walked back to the kitchen to cook for them, there were several cooks and employees in the Floating Restaurant of the Gods who prepare the feast for their lunch--the customers looked at her curiously and amazed by their service. Kaizo nudges him by his elbow, glaring at him as he sighed. "Don't spoil your mood now," he scolded his best friend, making Izumo snickered. "Dude, I just want to eat century egg, don't tell me you never tried them before--right?" Ren explained with a sheepish smile, before he immediately added. "Beside, it's my favorite porridge whenever I'm sick, that's why I asked her."

Kaizo looked away, pouting. "Whatever," he muttered, before he focused on his fried siomay again. 'I need to know the truth, about his business in this world and his intentions.'

Ren thought, watching Sakura served the poridge with slices of century egg on the plate to him and the other customers. Then, he began to eat them--it was fragrant, rich with the egg custard flavor and eggy essence tasted like--very delicious, creamy porridge mixed with rice, shrimp, mushrooms, tomatoes and green onions. "You're such a huge eater, you know that?" Kaizo grumbled quietly, crossing his arms in annoyance. "Sorry, I can't help but miss this taste in Indonesia," Ren spoke before he continued eating, despite his lean and muscular built--he never gained weight in his body.

Hakuren also love to eat like him, let alone Izumo who also love spicy food--lunch time is something always enjoyable when they spent time together, just talk about whatever nonsense stuff they had in their mind. No longer long, Sakura was already coming to the table--holding the serving tray with variety of tea blends from jasmine to moon peach blend, poured it into the cup. Ren decided to drink the jasmine tea, the fragrant tea always helped him calmed down. "Let's enjoy our tea, shall we?" Sakura said, smiling fondly at him.

Izumo's eyebrow raised as he looked up from the table to the sky, thinking to himself with a blank expression. He hummed, before he heard one of his friends called. "What are you looking at, Izumo? Stop spacing out or this peach will hit your face."

Hakuren mumbled as she poked the fruit that she served with a small knife. "Just observing, that's all," Izumo replied with a smirk, eating the peach and thinking on how should he play pranks to his friends again; before he playfully kicked Ren's knee under the table. "You fucktard," Ren gritted his teeth in fury, he got pissed off but it was worth for teasing. Kaizo sweatdropped, rubbing his head and groaned softly.

'He needs to be careful though, that kid might have devious mind or mischievous tricks around his mind.'

Sakura giggled at their interactions, no wonder she started to love their friendship despite it's different from her memories as her friends are immortals just like her--yet their adventure starts here and now, it makes her fascinated with the mortal society itself. "By the way, where's Sadana? I haven't seen him after we brought our friends here," she asked, curious. The friends all turned to look at each other and wondering, asking and muttering silently. "He's resting in his pavilion, be careful when you disturb him," Sakura stated, after they asked on whether he's a nice guy or not. "Just kidding~! He just love his peace and quiet, but not when something happened that piqued his interest."

Ren wondered if Sadana can be helpful or something, because even though he has his past memories of Kuran--at this rate, he refused to cooperate with people who his past self don't quite happy to associate with as Sadana claims that he doesn't work well with people, regardless of his loyalty to the devas and deities alike. "Hm, he's peculiar and has a lot to say with his words... but he has good intentions," Ren replied, taking a sip of his tea. "Oh right, he wants to talk to you, Ren," Sakura reminded, which made Ren widened his eyes in shock. "Eh?! Me?!"

Sadana was playing with the mahjong tiles that he made earlier from his thoughts to connect together, it's like a tile puzzle--but he noticed the door being knocked by someone when he was playing with his mahjong puzzle. "Come in!" he yelled with a smile. When the doors were opened, he saw his visitor is Ren (with an annoyed expression), and he let him sit down on the stool nearby him. "Ooh? Come on, you can make the first move, what do you want to ask from me?" he asked.

Ren watched him snickered as he walked to the chair and sat there, facing him. "Did Nanda really betrayed me?" he asked, in fact his conscience is still haunting him after her betrayal. "Yep, as much as you expect her to be your friends," Sadana began, handing him a piece of mahjong puzzle out from his pocket. "How did you know... that she betrayed me?" Ren asked, how did he know that her memories are not real? She still pretended she cares about him after she lied to him.

"Easy, she knew you always deny her, as Kuran's reincarnation," Sadana explained, pointing to his heart. "Not only that, she didn't like how you behaved with your own principles when you rejected her," he continued, but Ren felt somewhat bitter because it's no longer what he know of. His cheeks were red and flushed as he crossed his legs on the chair and looking away, his blush is visible. "Damn, you sounds like a psychic, dude," Ren murmured.

"Why thank you, I AM a psychic."

Ren blinked, and the realization is hitting him in the head. "Wow, I'm really dense when it comes to this shit," he sighed. He knew some people tend to be the other party involved in lies, however, there are people who do it only to impress someone--that was Nanda. "What was your father's name? Well, you're an orphan, right?" Sadana asked, a sensitive question for him but Ren answer it right away. "He never tell me his name, but his appearance? Yeah, he never ages," he described, earning a whistle from Sadana. "Yeah... I used to live in poverty after my parents died because of shipwreck and Phantom Beasts when I was a kid... in the past," Ren murmured, he explained. "Until my past life, Kuran... he saved my life and brought me to the Floating Restaurant of the Gods. Then, I reincarnated again and again until now--not sure if my parents suffered the same fate since I was raised by my grandparents. Besides, all I know that my mother passed away and not sure if my father--"

Sadana blinked, before he stated. "Wait... your father is Rihan Tjahyana, right? If you said he's dead... you got it wrong," he said, making Ren stopped when he hears the truth. "My apologies, I didn't mean to--but I'm a clairvoyant, Riyanda," he admitted, he may sounds like he was making it up--but he was telling the truth; how did he know that Ren's father is alive, but he escaped from that. "He escaped through entering the portal into Phantom Samsara, before we saved him in this year--just like what you said; he never ages."

WHAT?! No way, you gotta be kidding me," Ren gasped, his hands shook in disbelief after saw the revelation in the screen: his father did not die as he knew, but he is still alive and he's alive somewhere in the place that he haven't visited. The photo shows Ren's father who was still young and seems to be a Vidyadhara just like his son, after surviving the void and saved by Sadana and his organization known as Narayana's Scion.

The Chinese-Indonesian has a matching amber-brown neck-length hair with long bangs over his olive-blue eyes and porcelain complexion, he was just like Ren's current appearance (except that Ren almost turning eighteen like his friends). He wears a traditional changshan with motifs of Indonesian batik, and he wears a three-clawed-dragon pins on both sides of his clothes. He looked exactly like Ren when he grew up from the past and it only made him feel like he wanted to cry because of a chance of meeting his father. "He... He was not dead," Ren uttered, his mind could not grasp this possibility as the whole reality swirled above the skies into a madness. "Please tell me this isn't a dream, Sadana... Is this real or an illusion made, didn't it?!"

"No, Riyanda... during our expedition in the void of Phantom Samsara. We found him and we were able to save him until he recovered into a healthy state, luckily he's not injured and we had to rescue him from the Dark Sea--much to our surprise; his arrhythmia also gone after he became a Vidyadhara. After that, he started telling me that his son is someone that he thought died and it all due to... accidents, we told him that you've grown up into a fine young man while he decided to be a historian, had an open-mind culture that he was studying about the Indonesia's myths, stories and folklores from old times into our world's changes. Even the ancient gods were involved and reincarnated again, so... he was one of us now."

Ren can feel his strong and wild heart that pulsed harder than he realized, his friend is NOT lying to him. It is all due to his long absence and time has been changed. Then, the knock on the door could be heard and opened by Sakura as she greeted happily. "Ren, someone downstairs seems particular to you~♫" she said, making Ren nodded. "R-Right, gotta see him!" he replied, before he glanced at Sadana. "I'm really going to thank you, thank you so much. If I meet your friend, I will make sure to take him as my ally and possibly to be a family."

"Don't worry, I'm here for you," Sadana said with a smile, smiling gently as if he seems to be a younger brother of his, though he wondered why it felt nostalgic and warm? Then, Ren approached the railings--his eyes wandering onto the guests.

"The one who looks like you was looking for you~♥︎" Sakura said, he nodded as he bit his lower lips. Ren leaped onto the ground swiftly and he landed smoothly on his feet, he approached the said man as he turned around--it was him, no one else but his father. Ren ran towards the familiar man, he was stunned by his actions but then he caught him as Ren slammed himself onto him, burying his face onto his chest and both of them fell on the floor. "R-Riyanda?" he whispered, raising his eyebrows in surprise. "Dad..." Ren only muttered, clinging onto his own father while sniffling.

Rihan widened his eyes, realizing his own son who was only a kid ever since then. He has grown, he does miss his father and now he's hugging him. He clutched tightly on his precious kid, patting his back and hugging him as both of them were crying. "Father, you... you didn't die!" Ren croaked, as he broke into a burst of tears--hugging him tightly like how a child would cry when he didn't want to be separated. "I-It's okay... It's okay. I'm here, I'm with you, son," he cooed. Ren sobbed and buried his head on his father's shoulder, allowing Rihan to wipe his tears.

Once he stopped crying, Ren let go and asked. "W-Where have you been all this time? I-I thought you... Mom too..." his voice lowered as he sniffed, before his father touch his cheek. "Well, after the shipwreck happened and Phantom Beasts attacked it--I sacrificed myself to save you from the sinking ship, I thought I'll be dead. I didn't make it until I was absorbed into the void for a long time, until the dark sea grabbed me... When someone found me and I met Narayana's Scion. My head feels... fuzzy," Ren's father mumbled, they were on the ground after Ren tackled him into the hug attack. "Are you feeling okay, dad...?" Ren asked, wiping his tears that have dried onto his face. "Yes, and I'm very surprised you were a Vidyadhara."

Ren nodded, before helping his father to get up onto his feet. Kaizo reunited with his father--Retsu Shindō who has been waiting for him and turns out his father was part of the Narayana's Scions, Hakuren meet with Reoh Kobe; her adoptive father and she was shocked to see Hakusan is here... what the fuck, HE WAS ALIVE?! Turns out, Izumo's father is Senjū Amane, the second-in-command of the Narayana's Scions and Sadana's left-hand man! "What kind of family reunion is this?" Ren asked, looking dumbfounded before the guests stared at his friends and their respective fathers. "I can't believe you're alive, you disappeared just after you told me to be my responsibility towards my friends..."

It is as if he was playing mahjong tiles with his friends, when suddenly he accidentally pulled on another tile when he assumed he knows what game was in front of him. "Goddamnit, he cheated! Son, why don't you make good of what you started by playing a game or something," Izumo sighed, rubbing his head in disbelief--how did this happened and how? Reoh hold the white serpent named Mizu that has been on Hakuren's shoulders, which he explained to his two kids. "This serpent, is your ancestress."

Hakuren and Hakusan stood there like a fucking statue, what the fuck is this nonsense shit?! So she inherited the Kobe bloodline, by her friend was a freaking snake and she can speak with creatures? Aw fuck it, anything goes at this point. But... her father never told her and Hakusan his name even the clan, so... this asshole has his reasons to do it? "You hid this from me? Why did you hide me from the truth, that's my ancestress?!" Hakuren yelled in rage, while her father replied as his eyes looked sorry. "Oh well, at least I got a pet," she continued with a calm tone, despite being pissed. "I wanted you to make your own choices, not me."

Retsu has similar dark violet-black short hair that has light-violet streaks under his ears with long bangs almost covering his dark brown eyes, alabaster complexion and wears sunglasses with strings on them. He wears a modified Japanese modern kimono with buttonless vest and a red obi belt and the sword was behind his back, which it was inside a scabbard. "Huh?"

Retsu smacked Kaizo on the head playfully, he shared similar arrogance and prideful personality like his son--but more worse since he also enjoy it when other people get scared of him. "You're still a brat like usual, Kaizo," he snickered as he crossed his arms and looked away--but he then smile softly. "I'm glad that you found your father. I knew his father is back, and this world... is very different and unfamiliar. We have a lot to discuss, even if it takes for a hundred years. Well, as long it takes," Retsu spoke.

Senjū has similar platinum blonde short hair with messy bangs like his son Izumo, with turquoise-blue eyes and pale complexion. He has more strict and serious expression on his face, unlike his son and his voice is monotone. "Stop stammering, Izumo," he scolded, snorting as he watched his son trying to remember his memories. "Is it true that... our ancestress is Suiko Amane?" he asked, his father sighed. "Yes, she is. And why are you fighting on a place full of guests and other people will stare at you?" he barked, as he glanced over Reoh. "Are they insane, Reoh? What did you tell those kids when they were ten?"

"Uhh..."

Ren saw his friends Konami, Shūhei, Heinrey and Shiro are here too, which made him smiled that they reunited. "And, I was about to inform you about the whereabouts of the androids in the other region of Bintan. So, you won't be surprised why are we discussing about Scarlet Armband Army," Sadana added, causing Kaizo to grumble. "You really had to ruin the moment after that, huh?" he cursed, annoyed that he informed the updates in the Floating Restaurant of the Gods.

***

Ren just got down from the Floating Restaurant of the Gods and arrived in the Tumpak Sewu Waterfall that is part of the natural tourism in Indonesia, it was morning and he absolutely HATE early morning's training sessions. Kaizo suggested he should investigate about the army alone, but Sakura didn't have any problem if Kaizo decided to tag along with his other friends--just in case if Ren is still figuring himself about how much progress Ren made from his power to complete his training without burdening himself for several months. No no, they can't rely on a one person, that can be a bit troublesome for everyone--but they shouldn't judge Ren's capabilities to fulfill their request as the only one who can wield Kuran's power of God of Pledge.

Ren was meditating peacefully in the peaceful calm surroundings of the waterfall, until his senses were sharpened when he heard the shattering sound of a twig somewhere within the forests. He listened for the faint of the heartbeat with his keen perception that seemed to always came up, he was sitting crisscrossed on the flat rock with his beloved Cosmic Wrath polearm on his folded arms as his gaze looking bored and uninterested, his golden-red glinting aura became bright and shining; illuminating the forest like a beacon.

"Well well well, there's a young fellow in one temple? How awfully new."

Said the tall young man who came towards Ren, then he stopped and presenting himself to be an android. He was a young fellow in his mid-twenties with scruffy short black hair with long bangs almost covering his light turquoise eyes--along a scarlet armband around his left arm which revealed that he's an android of Scarlet Armband Army, he has fair complexion and has single earring on his ear--along a light neon streaks behind his ears. He wears a black tunic that has long sleeves with white collars and large shirt for his sleeves, and he wears a red beaded bracelet and several strings around his right wrist. He wears a black slacks with a dark and gray fabric folded on his waist, and he wears black thigh high boots with golden colored heel and sole, with laces.

He was named 'Izayoi' that was given from his master, the android was initially an anarchist and coolheaded, and enjoys fighting his opponent to death that he found them worthy to beat them. "Allow me to rephrase, 'how very rare'," he repeated once more. Izayoi was one of the Executive Officers in Scarlet Armband Army. Though, he seemed easygoing and friendly at first glance. But deep down, he's nothing but a rebellious android who could potentially against his master's orders if it's get more intense and harsh. His goals is to collect the cores, destroy humanity and gain the ultimate weapon to deal with his opponents to death with honor. For him, only killing or destroying is the only way to fight by his weapons as his only choice.

Izayoi froze when Ren slept instead of fighting back, he's simply mad that he's not going to fight--which may he started to grow impatient in facing his opponents at a good chance. Izayoi gritted his teeth as he tried to knock him off from the rock, but Ren snapped his eyes open as his pupils turned light red and standing there in a flash--deflecting his attack. "Do you know a Vidyadhara by the name of Riyanda Tjahyana?" Izayoi asked simply and casually, while Ren yawned and stretched his arms before holding his polearm once more. "Ah, yeah," he stated.

Ren didn't even know him--why would he want to harm a friend of his? Or would Ren wanted to risk the danger of putting his friends (and him) in jeopardy and risked Kuran's safety?

"Who are you?"

Ren asked, he kept calm as he looked at Izayoi, his expression calmed yet his eyes gazed upon the android before him. "Why do you want to kill me?"

The android chuckled. "Well, this is something personal from my people... I'll give you a reason to know, it may even possible that the information we have made you wanna drop in fear," he grinned before dashing towards Ren, but Ren evaded his attack quickly without letting out a surprised yelp, dodging his attack again. "My comrades went nuts and one of them decided to challenge me like a petty monster," Izayoi answered, scowling with a knowing nod. "That's why I'm looking for a person who can challenge me before I could kill him," he answered, spinning and lunge himself to Ren's side, he managed to stop it from hitting his face.

Ren jumped and flipped backward before sprinting towards him--dodging some of Izayoi's attacks, trying to create his distance away from the android. "I thought Scarlet Armband Army believes the more skilled you are at defeating your enemies, the more honorable it is," Ren spoke up without a trace of fear or disdain. His orange-red eyes widened slightly when Izayoi gave a sad smile, which only making him want to defeat him more.

"Well, I didn't hear about it and mostly it's true. But the leader of our group said if we want to see a new change for our people--even I had a change of heart when I saw those creatures and have a redemption from our sins--while most of them lose it and only find that cruel joy," Izayoi explained nonchalantly, as he tilted his head to look at Ren's startled yet confused eyes. "But what can you expect from a machine designed for slaughtering?"

'He sounds... a bit humane, but at the same time... he sounds like a heartless machine,' Kuran stated.

When Izayoi dashed towards him, Ren dodged quickly before avoiding the attacks from the android--he must defeated him somehow without using any of his powers. But when Izayoi unleashed his kick at him, Ren stopped the android from cutting his torso off.

"You're fast as hell, you know? Someone has taught you well," he quipped as the both fighters were engaged into a fight--but Izayoi failed miserably. For an instance, Ren blocked his attack as the fight lasted for few minutes.

When Ren touched the android's wrist, he was humane inside--he can feel pain and hope along sadness, and yet his emotions were filled with his internal purpose to find what he had missed. 'Just what kind of android that wants to feel emotions?' he thought. Izayoi is a broken spirit of human android that can gain and be capable to felt the five different kinds of human feelings. Ren doesn't want to kill him if Izayoi is a sort of empty vessel with no core or any power to use.

"What's your name again?" Ren asked, literally had no idea what is it. "Izayoi, no worries that I will consider you as one of the humans on their side," he said with a casual tone.

"Now, now--I don't think so. My little friend that was trained in the fight said that I'm going too easy on you, seems like you have something to take from me," the android replied, confusing Ren. "Is there anything you have to say to me before we settled the deal?" he questioned back at the android. "And, tell me... about Scarlet Armband Army that makes your companion hate me," Izayoi grinned and pointed his other blade towards Ren.

Ren smirked as he swung the spear onto the land, creating a burst of energy blasts flew into the air, barely hit Izayoi--only dodge the projectiles into his feet, and then took his own position. "Sure thing, why not?" Izayoi sheathed his blade and clasped his hands together. "We also called ourselves 'Scarlet Armband Army' or so have we said, because of this armband on our arm. Our very first members was five different people who found us and had their own traits but after 4 years, they left us. But do you know that they were also..." Ren stared at his expression changed as his mood became distressed, confusing him.

Izayoi suddenly feel his core within him shattered into pieces, is... this another vision? His heart beats fastened as he covered his chest, panted as he fell on his knees. Ren summoned Kuran's spear as he realized Izayoi started attacking him without mercy and keep chaotically swung the blade onto him, so he spun his polearm and used the dull part of his weapon to knock him out unconsciously, throwing him into the cliff in front of the waterfall before jumped forward. The android landed on the water cliff, his body was submerged into the water. "Phew... is he electrocuted yet?" he asked.

Well fuck, this type of android is NOT electrocuted--since the look of it seems to be humane as possible, whatever the fuck it is he is! Why does he wanted to know what happened to the android's past?! Curses! He jumped and grabbed the edge with his right hand, groaning as he pulling himself up onto the cliff. Ren winced as his skin and clothes were drenched by the water, and yet he managed to get the android into the boulder and wait him for being revived.

It may take for an hour or so.

"Guys, come here for a sec!"

Kaizo has arrived with Izumo and Hakuren, their eyes widened at the sight of Ren in wet outfit with an unconscious young human-looking android fainted there on the boulder that was overseeing the Tumpak Sewu Waterfalls, with three new friends. "What did you--he's what?!" Kaizo questioned in surprise when he saw Izayoi fainted here, before Ren grumbled. "As much I want to get rid of him, my hunch telling me no..." he said.

Izumo poked the android's face with his tanegashima, before Hakuren kicked his ass because she can't stand seeing these crackheads. "He's dead?" Kaizo asked him, and Ren rolled his eyes with a scowl. "Hell no, he's probably alive!" he yelled. Izumo checked the android's well-being, poking his cheeks. "Well, his cheek seems lively and can still be--wait, wasn't he a super android created from the scientist?" Kaizo corrected. Izayoi groaned as he slowly open his eyes, revealing his teal irises looked at the strangers next to him. He got up immediately and becoming defensive, still afraid of being harmed even though he sensed no ill will or distaste towards them. "Hey, chill out, we're not gonna hurt you," Kaizo sighed as he tried to touch his head, but then Izayoi jerked his head and growled at them. "How the hell did you escape those... electrifying...?" he whispered, before his memories flashes through his own head.

"Are you okay?"

He rubbed the area where he was struck by a spear before, noticing that he was healed magically. 'Who are they? What's their purpose on healing me as an enemy?' Izayoi thought as he got up onto his feet, feeling the soreness from his waist onto his ankles. As for Ren, he wondered if Izayoi is good or evil... but something told him that the android has some deep complexion that may be more valuable than the information of Scarlet Armband Army. "Uhh... listen," Izayoi rubbed his temple, grunting a little. "I am your friend now, if you try to harm any of us... we'll won't hesitate to remove your core. Just to remind you," he pointed his own finger.

But however, the android looked quite... pitiful, due to his confused expressions that always appear and disappear within mere seconds. Kaizo rolled his eyes as he shook his head at the man, a 'yare yare daze' looking expression was spread on his face. Izumo gulped, looking at Hakuren's disinterested face. "Honestly... sure," he shrugged. "Just don't attack us for now."

His hands curled into fist, his face darkened as he looked away--with a saddened expression of betrayal, and sorrow. "Oh, don't tell those bastards about me being here. I'm not working together with those military general psychos who were talking about conquest," Izayoi ordered, turning around to face the three strangers as they stared at each other.

Then, he left them without saying anything.

What the hell was that? Is he their enemy or something? Why did the android run away without telling a word as they clearly showed up that they had a fighting spirit?
