"Long time ago, there was a huge mansion with the wealthiest and kindest family, the King and the Queen, they lived in a happy life with their three children, the eldest son was the most caring and the gentle one to his mother, his little brother and sister. They lived in an estate of hundreds of acres covered by trees, fields and gardens, where every day the servants did their best to keep it as neat as possible for them.
The house had everything anyone could need: two bathrooms, several bedrooms, a lounge, dining room and kitchen. The house had four floors and all of them were decorated with expensive furniture and antique paintings for each room. Their grounds were also vast and beautiful; the land around the house was full of flowers, fruit trees, lakes and fountains.
The king and queen loved their children dearly but they couldn't be happier than when they were together, often playing games or going on long walks through the grounds.
But one day, the mother, the Queen, suffered an illness that can't be curable, and passed away that the King couldn't helped her, the horrific event began when the mobs suddenly massacred the entire family, the King died along the eldest son's sister, and the eldest son's little brother are unknown.
The only thing remains that is the ringleader and the mobs who did it, the traitor of the royal family itself, but who's the true identity of the ringleader? The King's beloved daughter or his beloved son? This question will never answered until today...
The fact remains a mystery... only to be missing was a Dream Gemstone which has contained fifty wishes to be come true.. reincarnated the survived royal family member, but cursed into a ghost. The tragedy has turned into a story and has forgotten for many years, and nobody entered the old mansion by themselves.
But there will be one person--who will solve the mystery of this story."
Eiko read the story when she was in the village with Hakusan, while taking the fresh water from the wells of the land (before all the bottled waters and everything was bought) as they were staying in Hyang Seram's Hut and Arunika Cottage. "Huh, the locals said that the mansion is like not far from our place," Eiko commented, before she glanced at the sky that was slowly getting darker. The locals also said the stories and myths, saying that the mansion has been abandoned for more than 10 years. There were said to be curse in the mansion to those whoever entering it, plus the presence of the ghosts made the locals got shit scared.
"They also claimed that the ghost always brought the nightmares for those who visits the place, once it's passed on you--then good luck. The story has been told from person to person... the only way to stop the curse from passing down is through the Dream Gemstone, but it's gone, after all the villagers are too scared to go search within the mansion's ruins," Hakusan warned, before he hummed. "The only way to find it is asking the locals."
Andini hummed, before she added. "We're gonna check it out later, the mansion has been here for centuries without anyone visiting for 11 years or something. Even we're gonna move, the place got abandoned due to ghost sightings and people rumored that a poltergeist is on sight. What do you think?" she asked her boyfriend Prime, seeing the scientist-android scanning the area with his eyes. "If you said the Dream Gemstone is gone, you're wrong--I still feel a strong energy of wish within the ruins and it's not dissipated yet, despite the rumored stories and evidence... it is likely that one of them didn't get there yet," Prime replied, checking with his vision through the night vision, thermal vision and X-Ray vision.
Prime's scanner detected a movement behind the wall, and he knew there were ghosts outside the mansion. "It's very likely, I can trace someone's movement inside the building," he added. He was searching for traces for some evidence, before he smirked--until Andini asked him a question. "So, did you find the Dream Gemstone?" Andini quipped, before he nodded and pointed his finger at the area of the grassy hill with fogs, trees and small and large structures around the mansion. "The Dream Gemstone is here, there's a single but we might have to search for it--the best idea to do that is to find the gemstone first."
They headed to the area in the foggy morning with cloudy gray skies, it was cold and damp with humid fog all over the grassy hill, filling with lotuses in the lakes around the hill. Eiko and Hakusan joined them in the vegetation area, before Andini was surprised to see the place isn't dark--it's instead, misty but lively. "It should be around here, shit... my sensory system keep detecting voices," Prime said, as they explored in the places that are still like untouched. "Eh, voices?" Eiko exclaimed. Despite the ruined structures and tall buildings, the Indonesian island made this environment much safer and fresher than the outside world.
Andini could hear the whispers from somewhere nearby, slowly filling her head. "This is creeping me out," Andini whispered, trying to calm herself as she could see nothing but gray clouds and fog everywhere, with distant winds and voices chanting in darkness. They began their dig to find the Dream Gemstone, before one of the Indonesian locals named Narida who was a young girl approached them. "Do you guys need help finding the place? I overheard your conversation," Narida replied, offering the help as they all could see her face clearly. "It's pretty isolated around here."
"Oh, sure. We're looking for the Dream Gemstone first, is it true that it's hidden in here?"
"It has been a common secret, we don't want outsiders to find it and use it like crazy--after the last incident. And let's see... the Dream Gemstone is created for granting wishes, right? To whoever owns the stone, you have to be careful on what you're wishing," Narida explained, looking at them. "It only can grant the true desire--not just one-way miracle for life. That's why, only fifty wishes remains forever inside the Dream Gemstone... for those who inherited the legacy of their royal family."
Eiko, Hakusan and Prime look back at Andini who was also known as descendant of royal Satriantar family in Indonesia, being the heiress and currently the head of the family--which make sense due to being blue-blooded. Her royal blood ran through veins all through the ages, and still survived to today. "Wait, are you the infamous Andini Taruli Horja Satriantar?" the local girl asked curiously, while Andini pursed her lips. "Yes I'm... and also the head of my family's legacy and also of the family. My ancestors are Javanese and Bataknese royals, hence the Satriantar family," she responded in a serious tone, then proceeded to asked the girl. "So, that means I'm the one who inherited the legacy? Or is it still going on?"
Narida laughed with a smile, before she point out. "Yes, the noble with a gold heart can erase the curse and make a genuine wish for fifty wishes," she explained, until she gasped to see the Dream Gemstone was held by Prime. "I am glad to help you to erase the curse, though as long as you make a true wish to the Dream Gemstone, it should be no problems as you make a powerful true wish," Prime replied.
Andini wanted to know about this mystery, so she nods. "Yeah, let's go."
The four of them has arrived in front of the large abandoned mansion (apparently they were far-away, and the mist was still blocking the true, ruined image of the place), looking at each other after Narida guide them there. "What kind of sightings the locals have seen?" Eiko asked the Indonesian girl, looking at the mansion. "Some says that there's a sightings of ghostly noblewoman with a beautiful face and the sound of a young man's screaming voice," Narida explained, while Eiko tilted her head. "Maybe the real king is dead along with the other nobles, but they're still alive--in their ghostly form, right?"
"Yes, because they didn't die naturally--except the Queen. A few other evidence that is told that a strange feeling that surround them when they tried to pass through them, there's a possibility that they still live in the past moments when they were cursed. We don't know who was the ringleader of the crime, nor who lead the mob, it's impossible to know for years of memories. Also, I'll give you some informations before you guys can go in--I'll be outside and ask my parents to keep an eye around here."
Inside the mansion's grounds, full of empty beds and empty rooms with barely any furniture or possessions left after all the ghosts have passed on. There are some wooden planks on the floor, a writing table, some wardrobes and shelves for books with small writing desks. Out of curiosity, Eiko searches the mansion's premises for any clues about the mysterious royal murders or whether there's anything worth investigating. However, after entering, she sees a flash of light and starts feeling dizzy, causing her to stop walking as she hold Hakusan's arm. "Woah, I'm starting to get dizzy... ugh," Eiko complained, holding her head and gritting her teeth. "Do you want to rest? Please don't force yourself to overexert yourself--" Hakusan said, showing concern for the girl but Eiko shook her head and forced herself to move. "N-No, we need to see the horror movie's mystery!"
"Eiko, you need to rest--there's a guest bedroom here," Andini suggested, but she was stubborn and shook her head again and still clinging into her boyfriend's arm. "Come on, you might get a vision when the situation is needed."
"No, I wanna follow you guys! I'll be fine and ready once we got some clues, just watch me!"
'She's so determined...' Prime thought with a frown, before his garnet-red eyes scanned the hallway and room. "Please rest safely," he commented, holding the Dream Gemstone while exploring the corridor. His eyes glowed slightly as he was finding more clues, there was one room that captured their attention, and it was empty room. "Athalla, did you found something?" Andini asked Prime by his real name, while Hakusan helped Eiko who sat on the bedside.
'Riyanda should be the one seeing the vision, not Eiko--is it because that place is dangerous that we must not venture further?' Andini thought, before Prime's face went red by hearing his name being called. "I mean, yes. Andini, this mansion is connected to their ancestors' legacy, they have been cursing their enemies by leaving them a bad luck as punishment--and you can stop the curse because you have such great ambition and leadership, making them be cautious and an enemy to the last heirs."
Andini nodded, before they sensed a faint footsteps that started to become louder and louder from behind them. Turning their heads, they saw a young woman with a simple braided hairstyle with long brown hair, her face was tanned and covered in freckles and had curvy brown eyes along with a small nose. She appears to be a Dutch lady, which was true, she had a beautiful blue dress and white long sleeves with brown trousers. "Who are you...?" Andini asked the ghost, the young female ghost spoke in Dutch language by greeting them formally, but Andini didn't understand it--even when the female ghost doesn't speak English. "Let me translate them."
Prime suggested, before he placed a hand on his chest. "(My deepest apologies, miss--I think we are here to visit... and since when it's been infested with poltergeists)?" Prime asked in Dutch language, after using his language settings in his system. 'At least the language barrier won't happen too much..' Andini thought, sighing deeply. It's like talking to someone who suddenly became a ghost, not that they're suspicious or intruders--but the female ghost appeared nice, elegant and lovely to be around with despite some mysterious and terrifying characteristics like pale skin with heavy dark shadows and their ability to move without it's body parts--like typical ghosts, and they seemed to be able to use its powers at will.
"(Long time ago, before the tragedy, the royal family was a highly respected members of society who ruled over everything. Their title earned by meritocracy, everyone respects them very much and follow their leadership, and we live in a prosperous country with little to no fear of scarcity or hardship. The mobs, they're neither Indonesians nor Dutch... they are foreign criminals who wanted to seek a chance to gain more wealth and status, not to mention the fact that some of them may come from rival families or nobles. We tried to be fair and peaceful, but they keep targeting us, as they just want the royalty to 'step down and let the commoners have everything for themselves')."
"(But there's a missing piece of the story...)," Eiko mentioned.
The girl's face changed in an instant--from one of sadness and love, the young female ghost frowned, suddenly grabbing him by the collar as her beautiful face suddenly morphed into somewhat demonic and less detailed than previously was, almost unrecognizable that made Prime paled. "(You can never get away, the missing puzzle of that night--we couldn't, you can't escape our judgement!)," said the girl in a distorted voice filled with static. "Athalla!" Andini yelled, grabbing his arm as he ran with her.
They also heard Hakusan and Eiko screaming before running to the other wing of the manor, which was mostly empty with all the furniture. "Shit...! It's coming after us!" Eiko screamed, Prime analyzed the door that they're at as there's a dead bolt and a fire escape--but before that; he used a flash bomb to cover their escape and he kick the hard steel door, damaging a small section as it became weak--until he hits it. The ghosts managed to avoid the deadly attack, which made them hide in the other room to avoid the hunt from the deadly ghost. "Holy shit...!" Andini growled, being annoyed by the trouble that she's dealt for quite a while. "Damn, I wanted to punch those fuckers!"
"Stay alert, this mansion has potential structural damage that could cause it to collapse under its own weight--perhaps a tremor happened on this mansion from the first day that nobody has cared enough to save it. There are few floors between the ground and the top, and one wrong move could cause them to fall onto us and trap us until we starve or dehydrate to death," Hakusan said, keeping his focus on Eiko as they run to the other wing of the mansion--but not far, before stopping and going upstairs to the roof. "Shit, these ghosts are so fucking--" Eiko complained. The ghosts, and she's not talking about the ghosts, are causing trouble for the team as they're trying to escape this horrible mansion with their lives.
"Now now, we should head to the third floor after staying in one of the room to inspect its condition first."
Hakusan added, calming down Eiko. It was all in perfect order, not as luxurious as the previous but rather a lot more functional and homely with plain wooden furniture and simple color schemes, even the floors are just hard wood and smooth cement, no one actually spent a lot of time looking at the rooms for anything important. A large portrait is seen on the walls, featuring a full sized portrait of a young boy wearing simple clothing, maybe the crown prince and the king's eldest son.
"I wonder who's the ringleader of the massacre, it's worse than the murder and suicide of the Royal family... but from the point of view of a psycho," Eiko commented, while they keep watching their backs in case there will be poltergeist activity or any kind of shenanigans in this mansion. "There's an old journal, but it's in Dutch... Prime, can you translate them?" Eiko asked, pointing out the writings on the desk. "Hmm, just a moment," Prime replied, pressing his palm against the table as it will scan the information from the ancient book on the table. "Here," Prime spoke out, before he translate the info by speaking.
"Ever since I was young, I have had the ability to see things that no one else could--as in what I would later learn is called Clairvoyance, or simply known as 'seeing the future'. Our life was nice and happier before the death of our mother, it saddens me--my father was unable to cope with the loss, so I decided that I'll help him to take care of everything to keep our home together... except that I only could stay for four years after the tragic happened, later becoming the kind and gentle man who would always listen to our problems and wishes for everything that can come true. However, I overheard my father's conversation with... one of his trusted friend in his alliance? Well, the King and Queen is just a codename of my father and late-mother... my father is actually a military general and they also hold the same rank as he does, although he's the superior than his."
"Yet, I started having dreams and nightmares that something will happen to us... and the visions finally come true, when the murder happened in my head, along with the ringing ears--the villagers come to warn us before they go down the hall... but too late, the death has already happened when I escaped from the mansion as one of the mobs were chasing after me before they fled the place--become the missing piece of mystery which I won't reveal, because perhaps... it was actually meant to happen, the only way to undo it? That's why I wanted to ask, what do you think? The ringleader? What is the curse like? Have you have any nightmare about me? The ringleader just suddenly disappeared, nobody even know who are they--they might be able to erase their 'records'... but you will suffer the curse of the traitor, which is you."
This story has been taken without authorization. Report any sightings.
Eiko sighed, closing her eyes before turning her head to Hakusan. "For the sake of the legacy... please, unlock the mystery once and for all," the letter suddenly spoke. "This is the First Prince's diary, his name is... Otto Willem van Frenkel," Andini muttered, her eyes widened to finally found an answer from the diaries. 'But that's impossible, Otto is born in 1579 or even more according to history books--this story seems way more than 400-500 years ago... or during the Dutch colonization in Indonesia and somewhere before Japanese invasion,' Andini thought, even Hakusan has the same questions after reading it in confusion.
"... What... is this..."
"This... I need to investigate more about this stuff," Andini muttered, before she opened one of the diary that is left in the drawer. "Wait, I have a question here--when is this incident happened?" she asked.
Prime was using his memory archives to find the exact answers as he used an active scan in his system to link-up the information within. "According to the informations, the massacre occurred way before any of the civilizations can be recorded down in Indonesian history, and likely around after the World War II and this happens around late-1999's... that is according to the media and recent new article about this case, before it was blocked and was covered due to not revealing too much information about the royalty, but this was before we met the descendants of Dutch and other European royalties. They cover their true identities through King and Queen thing even Prince and Princess, because the Frenkels are so wealthy that their treasures are literally unlimited--only the known one is a Dream Gemstone can grant unlimited wishes, but the story says that only fifty wishes remain in it--yet someone still has the gemstone, and their family is prosperous."
They started to wondering even more as they're putting things in the puzzles, while Andini still holding the Dream Gemstone. Then, they stopped when they saw the room that never been 'entered' according to what Narida informed them. "It says that the father's master bedroom contains a lot of valuable information and precious artifacts as they'd collected them over the years... how should we get inside?" Eiko asked, the door was blocked by iron bars and padlocks. "Ah shit, let me handle this," Hakusan growled, before he manifested his silver gun and aim it for the padlock--it shot a ice bullets and soon freezing the iron bars and padlocks; then he shot it again with a metallic bullets and breaks the door open with a massive smash force.
They managed to enter the father's bedroom, it was filled with jewelries, gold, paper and other sort of paperwork--and there's one box that might have something special in it. "Oh shit... an answer," Eiko said, picking it and realized a lot of new informations was found. There's the diary and their records in there, along with another map that is drawn-by-hand. "Dear Elliot, stop giving me too much promises and information, if you really wanted to be safe and sound--then just... do the dirty work by yourself instead of passing your legacy in the form of diary," Andini growled when she read the diary, before closing it. "Okay, who the fuck is Elliot...?" she muttered in annoyance.
They look at the record, then Prime widened his eyes after scanning it using his system. "Elliot... Elliot Frenkel--must be the father of the royal family," Prime exclaimed, before he realized that he revealed a name that nobody have ever hear or known until today, before he received several glances from his companions. "Woah, wait there... the missing piece is here," Hakusan said, as they investigated the place. "A memory got locked... I... need to access that," he continued, before he saw a key was on the table--it's a metal key that is crafted for certain safes, boxes or some special doors, he should try it at the basement or something.
When they did investigate the basement, Prime gasped in an instant--a sudden pain. "Hng-gh..." Prime hissed, feeling the pain slowly enters his mind as he covered his head and bit his lower lip. "Guys, don't go in there! We gotta go--now!" he yelled to his friends, his pain grew. His system going haywire, but not enough to damage his synthetic neural synapses. His garnet-red eyes glowing slightly red as his body was unable to respond for minutes, the pain suddenly gone as Andini hold his arm. "Come on, what's wrong with the basement!?"
"Something... supernatural... I'll explain it... when we get outta here," Prime groaned, before sighing and managed to straight his body posture and head posture. He saw the vision in his head when the pain worsen it, but he could not describe it except saying 'troubling'. Eiko suddenly sensed something negative from the basement, before she shake her head and turned to them. "Prime's right, we can't go in there--something's haunting that place."
Hakusan look down at the basement as he turn on the flashlight, before he pointed the light to the 'source' of the trouble. He immediately shake his head and pulled Eiko close to him, Andini watched them closing the door and Hakusan explained. "Guys, did you see that? I saw... I saw a goat's head with ghostly-body who have a sharp legs but goat-like, standing on its two legs and then it snapped its head towards us!" Hakusan exclaimed. He wouldn't lie about ghostly-visit or spirit presence, and him being an elemental gave him abilities to sense a lot of stuffs with no further issues.
"Even until the modern century people still created art based on it," Hakusan muttered in worry, Eiko leaned to him in comfort but something haunted them--they knew the mob leader... is a fucking cultist and he became like this, not a young woman but a demon. They turn around, before Andini growled at them. "Let's defeat this motherfucker!" she declared, before Eiko unleashed her silver dual chained handguns and taunted the Phantom Beast--shooting it with her enhanced bullets, and Prime shoots the beast with his blasts from his hand he formed. It let out a loud screech, it was clearly painful as it writhe and wriggled in agony--but it refused to perish as the demon swipe its claw at Prime--which he let his sleeve getting clawed instead his arm. "You ain't fucking cut my fucking arm with that nonsenses bullshit!" Prime growled.
Andini wished on the Dream Gemstone for a weapon, and a claymore appeared in her hand--blue and gold hilt as she slice through the Phantom Beast. But this alone won't take down the demon--they have no idea who is the ringleader as nobody even know what was her appearance like when the tragedy happened. "Prime, who is the ringleader?!" Hakusan yelled, shooting the Phantom Beast with his guns, creating a large spikes which stabbed the monster, damaging its neck and the back of its head. Prime knew who they are, but... will they know that they're facing a high possibility of facing a literal devil?
"It's... that Phantom Beast we're fighting against just now! His name is Elzer Frenkel... he was the brother of Elliot Frenkel. He started to be evil. Due to certain 'unfinished business' when he found this mansion's secret... and never been known since, he was angry at Elliot for not asking help from him!" Prime yelled, revealing the truth of his missing presence in the story after searching the internet's data and knowing the connections. Elzer was hidden, and according to the records, it will be revealed--but the Phantom Beast was 'detected' to be Elzer in his demon form due to making a ritual to become one with Phantom Beast and curses to those whoever find out the 'secret'. "What the fuck...?!"
"He's trying to stop us to reveal it! We have the entire proof, you can't stop us from going against you, motherfucker!" Eiko roared angrily, before she shot the ground and froze the creature's feet with her ice bullets. They were not far and strong enough to defeat the creature, then something changed. They knew who's the real person being cursed--but his appearance is nothing like in photos in the diary. "Why did you choose to become a devil, Elzer?" Andini asked curiously.
The Phantom Beast smirked and chuckling evilly at them, staring in his rage. "He promised that he will give me the ring and the crown, he got careless, and now I'm in charge!" his sinister yet distorted voice replied, before letting out an unearthly growl. But, Hakusan shot the ground as he's gonna freeze the Phantom Beast and stab its body in one single attack--with merging his dual guns and soon morphed into a flintlock with a blade on it. He swung the blade into the chest, before pulling the trigger to let the bullet entering the Phantom Beast's chest.
"He... has no love for me when I saved him on the battlefield!" Elzer screamed, before Prime detected the 'weak spot' in the Phantom Beast. Prime lets the creature grab his left arm as he punched the Phantom Beast's gut, and Hakusan soon freeze the Phantom Beast in an instant--Andini took the chance to kill the Phantom Beast by slashing off his neck, before Eiko rushed and dashes quickly while shooting him, the silver dual-chained handguns let the bullets enter its chest before its killed after all the elements and skills were played along to erase the Phantom Beast.
The beast morphed into a dangerous huge shadow ball, before Andini purified the ritual and burns it with fire--ending the Phantom Beast's curse to an end. Only a male ghost appeared, kneeling down as he grieved--causing the group of four confused, what is this ghost meant? The ghost is crying as he covered his face, before revealing that he's different--no demon horns or anything supernatural in him. He wears a noble fancy suit and wears a white t-shirt and scarf underneath his suit, he is truly a handsome man with his melancholic eyes, messy short hair and a guilt. "You're..."
"No, I'm not Elzer... I'm the first son, Otto... that demon trapped me for a long time..."
The ghost introduced himself, kneeling and crying as he thought that the crime isn't over. The Dream Gemstone sparkled as it created a soothing sounds of twinkling bells ringing, Eiko gasped at him before at the sparkling gemstone on Andini's hand. "So, is it true... Elzer was the one who organized the massacre and he made his older brother a horrible ending?" Prime asked. "Yes, my father didn't want to inherit his wealth to him and he killed my father so he could inherit his riches and rule the family... or worse. In the end, that turned him crazy for wanting the treasure from our family..."
'If it's only for power or for himself, then I understand he's not caring or love others for his own benefit.. but committing crimes and murders... why?' Eiko thought, before she glanced at the treasures in the room. "So, what should we do with it?" she asked them, before the ghost cried as he still kneel on the floor. "I would like to live with my family... without their ghost or fear of Elzer coming back to haunt me. Please, use the wish to let them free, there's still fifty-four left right? That should be enough," the ghost pleaded, before Prime whispered to her. "Andini, we might as well use the dream gemstone for this wish, as we have unfinished business with this horridness. If the Gemstone is meant to bring happiness, then please let the royal family find peace."
Andini nodded, before she stands in front of the ghost and pressed her hand at her chest. "I wish for their rest in peace, let their souls be found and loved... as they have the greatest sorrow in life they have ever lost, but now they will be alright," the Indonesian noble wished, and the wish was granted, creating a bright sky that is full of glitter and light of sun and stars, before Otto smiled gently and grateful that they saved them.
"Thank you..."
Eiko could felt something touching her shoulder, sensing a ghostly touch and looking behind her, but saw no one except the young ghost smiling and saying something unheard due to her ears was hearing nothing--like a whisper. Then, the ghost faded as he waving his hand at her--and his body glowed and exploded into a bright ball of light and falling to the ground, allowing a group of former mob leaders and other ghost were free from the manor. "How are we going to explain this to the little girl about this...?"
Oh right, Narida--they had to tell the local about the mansion is free from poltergeists, and ghost. Just great.
They told everything to the young local Indonesian girl about the whole event, making her wide-eyed as there's only fifty-three wishes from the Dream Gemstone left. "Ah... I see, about the treasure--we'll be informing the Indonesian government about this and also securing the golds. We'll call them 'Frenkel's Gold' and the diamond might have to be named something 'pretty'," she said. Andini was relieved that they'll secure the whole location with the proper protection--but before she left, Narida touched her shoulder to take a moment. "Their cemetery is over there, remember to put some lilies and put an incense and candles on the headstones--it's the ancient thing to do for the deceased."
They only need to found the cemetery that was hidden very well, despite filled with the fogs and the mist of the dark clouds, it seemed harmless--but what lies there? They keep visiting several old cemeteries in several parts of the ruins, but they couldn't find any clues or information related to it. "Okay... Elliot Frenkel, the father... Wilhelmina Frenkel, the mother..." Hakusan muttered, placing the incense sticks at the old tombstones while lighting the candles. He cleared his throat, but he finally located where the descendants of Elliot Frenkel were buried; his son's grave and his twin daughters. 'That ghostly lady we met must be the wife of Elliot...' Eiko thought, reading the names of the graveyards. "Otto Frenkel... Diana Frenkel and Dina Frenkel..."
Prime scanned the area for more evidences, until there's a letter with two different scents that is much different from the others. Andini, noticing the android was holding the old parchment with words written in eloquent manner, began deciphering the code in Old Danish-French-English. He thought it was Dutch since the family is from Netherlands, but turns out they also have kept another treasures. "Whose letter is it? Does it reveal the true identity of the royal family member? Let me see," Andini requested, before Prime gave her the letter as she began to read aloud, translating the code written. "Oh wait, it's a code for another treasures?"
"Yup, it was clearly in this area. It's not just the Dream Gemstone, but it could be more than hundred rubies that were long lost. As long as we protect this place, everything will be fine," the scientist-android spoke, before his detector keep bugging him until his internal system showed him the item's data. "So, the treasures were finally found but there's three crypt puzzles we have to solve to reach the truth of our question; whose the real traitor to the royal family was in the first place. We already know the traitor is Elzer Frenkel, now we have to find the location of where to find the three keystones to open the crypt door."
Andini was thinking of wishing their well-being, before the light of the gemstone shone towards the path that leads to the crypt, after everything is done and made a ceremony on each graveyards of family members. "Oh, it should be there," Hakusan spoke in awe as it seems there's no wonder if all this happened because of the royal lineage, they headed to the cave where it was blocked by a rockslide and a hard boulder--until Andini used her claymore and broke the boulder to create a pathway to go in deeper. In the center of the cave, they saw a round bronze stone-shaped crest locked in a bronze frame stood upright on a pedestal.
They knew that it has something to do with puzzles, before Prime scanned the mechanism through the use of his X-Ray vision ability, scanning how to operate the three keystones mechanisms to unlock the secrets. Andini had no idea what to do, but they need the keystones for it--it turned out, they have to enter the burial sites. "Ah fuck, it's a puzzle game... I'm the worst with puzzles!" Eiko huffed, crossing her arms. It should be a bit too much for the ordinary people to answer this, especially if one of them betray the family legacy in a tragic way.
Narida hummed, before her eyes widened. "This is a legendary thing to solve the crime, as the descendants of royal family still have some powers to search and find the secrets..." she said, earning looks from the four. "What are you even talking about? I'm not like any other royal family I know, I mean I'm not like those obnoxious and snobby asshats who love gold and power--" Andini replied, knowing how her late-father treated her back then. "But fine... if it's about securing the golds, I'm totally cool with it."
"Ah... y-your late father, huh?"
Andini nods slowly, muttering as she retained her regality. "Yes, my late-father Horja Satriantar, is... he's... a total jackass that I wish death befall on him, that dumbass is dead so--" she paused when the door opened, seeing a pile of golds and glittering rubies before they found the three keystones placed right below the clock, the rock formation made it almost impossible to miss. "There, let's examine them," Prime said, seeing that the three are encased in a crystal pillar and it required unlocking spell to remove them--and the key to unlock was the Dream Gemstone itself. It was easy, they summoned their spirit animals and that already opened the three pillar glasses.
Each of them have a one crest's insignia with engraved numbers and runes; which was obviously the combination in key code. The numbers range from 0 to 9 like any normal key code you use. Andini studied the runes, in order to know the code--it was difficult to decipher due to the many ancient texts they needed to utilize in their language. "Finally, we found the artifacts belonged to the royal family," Eiko commented, after they gather in the center. "Is it better to move them here with you or the people who may use it for bad intentions?" she asked.
"It would be better to trust the Dream Gemstone with the locals around this place," Eiko decided, before she gave the necklace to the elder from the village. "Since your family has been holding this dream gemstone for quite some time, continue to do so since you're the last of the Satriantar Family. It has been with you, when I finally used it to give peace to your ancestors who had been suffering. Your ancestors are also known as the royal family of Satriantar, passed down their precious wealth and gems for the next of the family," Eiko told her, smiling and patting Andini's head.
After their journey ended, all of them gathered again in the cottage and shared their experience with each other. Andini was laying on the bed inside the cabin of the cottage, she shared a bed with Prime as they lived together in one cabin from the others. "That was a fun adventure, what do you think?" she asked, Prime ran his fingers through his cyan-blue hair as he can see his girlfriend's light blue messy and uneven neck-length hair with long bangs over her yellow-blue eyes with segmental heterochromia, along her fair complexion. "Yes, it was quite fun."
She chuckled in amusement to see her boyfriend smiling despite his stoic personality, before they hugged and cuddled each other. They're just a pair of awkward but strong willed partner--someday, Andini and Prime knew that their relationship will blossomed into something that's bigger and more.
Hakusan stayed in the same cabin with Eiko, the young female didn't mind. They really had a nice holiday, until one day--an idea formed on Eiko's mind. "Why don't we make comfort food together?" she suggested, the latter almost got caught off-guard from her sudden question. "Of course, that would be lovely."
Back to Andini, she was cooking a warm meal for their dinner, humming quietly with cheerful tone in melody--as there were also vegetables and things that have been cooked to make a huge feast with Prime, mixing the frying pan mixture. She even get her smartphone and plugged the music, before Prime take off his black beaked plague doctor's mask--revealing his garnet-red eyes as he goes to kiss her cheek. "If you got hurt, would you allow me to heal?" he asked gently, only to earning a chuckle from Andini. "If it's you, then no problem at all," she replied. He wrapped his arms around her waist as Andini smiled, before hugging back at her android boyfriend.
