Chapter XXII: Tears of Scattered Emotion

*ೃ༄

The next day...

"Hyde, you have six siblings right? Are you the eldest or the youngest?"

Konami asked, walking beside him in the resort filled with many Indonesian tourists. "Huh, I'm the fifth of the seven. And, don't you remember Kuroh is the eldest," he answered. "Do you have a normal dream, or a thing that you wanna do so badly?" she asked, grabbing his hand as he held her wrist, so the two close to each other. "... getting along with my siblings, even though they're annoying bastards. Well, whatever."

Konami snickered, patting his back. "Admitting it will take a long time, but it'll be worth it and they will learn how to love and tolerate you. Be patient," she advised, he smiled while scratching his cheek. He never admitted it before but somehow, this human managed to convince him to gain his confidence. Ren rolled his eyes, watching them together. "Anyway, you two won't become a sickly-sweet couple that makes me throw up sweets and all," Ren commented, before the Māra vampire show a middle finger behind him. Eiko appeared and sat beside Shiro on the swing, humming happily and he frowned a bit. 'So adorable,' Ren thought in amusement, letting out a little huff of satisfaction when he stared at them.

Konami noticed her older brother Kazuya has arrived with someone, turns out it was Hyde's eldest first brother named Kuroh--or his real name Shùlǎn who was the servant-partner of him. The youthful Māra vampire has a shoulder-length, blue hair with his front bangs reaching his red eyes and pale complexion. He wears a long black hooded jacket with with white pants, dark-grey colored suit underneath and a long scarf that he let loose. He always seen having a boredom expression, being a stoic character--but he has a soft spot with his family and he helped everyone. His hair color reminded Konami of a light blue sky, the warmth of his welcoming home. In contrast with Hyde, he has a sharp eyes, an eye-color of wine color or fire-sky-like ruby color.

"Hey, what are you doing here, Tānlán?"

Hyde froze when he just got called by his real name by Kuroh, making Konami wide-eyed. "Wait, I thought your real name is Wútiān?" she asked, which he gulped as he clenched his fists and growled. "Urgh, yeah... but it's because of our nature in representing seven deadly sins, I represent greed and he represent sloth, I don't really like my real name..." he explained with an irritated frown, folding his arms.

"Seriously, why are you here, Shùlǎn."

Kuroh yawned like a lazy puppy after his younger brother asked him, walking to him and patting his back. "I came here because Kazuya wanted to see his little sister, so I just tag along," the eldest Māra vampire replied, making Hyde rolled his eyes--they did reconcile after that conflict and they get along well; but they decided to act like rivals, enemies and brothers in a few situations (not all). Konami snickered as she watched the conversation, enjoying the banters. "Don't call me that, alright! That doesn't count!" Hyde protested with irritation, but the taller brother gave no fucks.

Shiro just knew that Kazuya is Konami's brother but still clueless that Kazuya is actually the master of Kuroh, who happens to be Hyde's eldest brother and Māra vampire--he looked harmless and lazy to bother fighting him but was overpowered by the said ability: 'Master Key'. Maybe he hasn't known about Kuroh's ability? Anyways, he has a somewhat cute nature like a cat because his animal form is... a chibi black messy dark-bluish cat with cat bell around it. "So, you got a girl, huh? Congrats, I guess..." Kuroh muttered in Chinese dialect, before whispering as Hyde grinned. "Yeah, right? Keep it a secret from the others, okay?"

They talked for a long time and Ren welcomed them to the troupe, waiting for the rebranded Floating Sanctuary to be built and it still a long time for them to stay there. "So, why are you here?" Hyde asked, he knew Kuroh came here not just for a vacation with Konami's older brother in Bintan. Kuroh yawned again, raising his index finger. "'The Catastrophe from the Unknown World: the Endless Nightmare' from the Eclipse Prophecy, Ren may have defeated the Heavenly Emperor... but that doesn't mean the mission is over yet--there's still more threats to stop to preserve peace," Kuroh explained, putting the hood over his head because he absolutely hates sunlight. "Look, I'm serious. You guys think it's over, but fucking no," he stated.

The rest of the group are now listening to the conversation, taking turns of being cautious and wary. Ren folded his hands, realizing what he means and nodded, before Kuroh asked again. "Now let me ask you, Riyanda Tjahyana... do you really trust the Oracle's Eye or not?" he asked, making him froze and clenched his fists. Although the Oracle's Eye is just a prophet, they can be said to be an existence beyond human or deity alike and this existence have the last say for this war. "I thought it was a stupid decision if they were willing to join the evil army in order to live, but I know it's not your fault. They just wanted their eyesight back and you retrieve it, however... are you sure they're really chosen to have the dream-traits or not?" Kuroh resumed, while watching Ren shook his head.

"Chosen my ass, you are basically implying I should keep them and destroy their families if we let our guard down--I know they will leave and abandon us--"

Ren yelped when he felt the black claw-like vines restrained him with blue aura, it came from Kuroh whose expression didn't change--but Ren recognized it as a silent threat. "You know, Ren... I may be wrong but I can't tolerate you accusing us before listening," Kuroh calmly retorted with narrowed eyes, he doesn't seem to be angered but the atmosphere is ominous. The black vines quickly disappeared, with Konami was shocked by what happened. "You need to tone down your pride, it could hurt other people..." Kuroh warned, unfolding his arms. "Just because you defeated your enemy, doesn't mean the danger is already gone--plus, you're just a teenage brat who's young, ignorant and perhaps arrogant. Yet, your still have a good leadership, you're still naive in so many ways."

Ren paused when he reprimanded him, he was right--he needed to realize everyone needs help, no one can do this alone. "I just can't seem to tell whether it was a miracle or trap," he muttered, before shrugging his shoulders. Everyone chuckled in agreement, it didn't break their bond after all. While he didn't argue with Hyde, he became a different case when arguing with a sharp mouth like Kuroh, but he has good intentions and won't hold a grudge--if you calm the fuck down. "Sometimes, I let my ambition get the best of me... well, not always..." he thought and frowned in annoyance.

Kuroh patted his shoulder, before he continued. "It's normal to have so many doubts, everyone did that for ages but they overcome it despite that. At the end, you'll learn not to fear..."

Everyone went quiet when he mentioned that word. "At the end, you'll learn... not to fear. True strength was already holding your own weakness, or anything negative. After that, you won't lose your sense of self again... you have to set a positive mindset, in order to choose to be brave and walk forward," Kazuya added, also joined the conversation with calming his younger sister's boyfriend. "Don't be blinded by what was you fear, set a goal. Do it without thinking too much, our courage comes from what's ours. So, do it your way with whatever you chose and do it in a righteous path, and you'll be fine."

"Dude, just shut the fuck up, I got it," Hyde barked back in slight agitation, before he glared back at Kuroh. "Alright, now can you please explain the hell do you guys want?!"

Izayoi scratched his chin, smirking. "They are trying to deliver a message, while teaching our guy Ren how to settle his emotions," Izayoi commented, everyone agreed because he speaks nothing but a truth. "I was meaning to do that," Kuroh admitted, making Hyde growled angrily. "Fucking hell, enough about emo words, dude!" he shrieked and tried to bang his fist on him--however, the taller and eldest vampire raised his leg and kick him lightly on his chin with his toes, spinning his body around before crashing on the sand. "You haven't changed at all," Kuroh said with his eyes close, shaking his head like his little brother has not evolved into someone greater than before.

Shiro snorted, hiding his amused grin because the eldest vampire is funny (it was rare to see an older brother can easily annoy and mess up with his younger sibling.

Few hours later...

Ren watched them from the distance in the resort on his own, while he was sitting on the chair in the rooftop area under the colorful umbrella. He was slurping his glass of iced lemonade as the sunglasses covered his sight, he wanted to fall asleep... at least, thinking about the old memories during the time travel had lead him to many bizarre adventures--some of them are heartbreaking, amusing, and ridiculous but not much.

"Heya!"

Dinda greeted him with a smile, making him shrieked and almost spit the ice-lemonade on his clothes while the Vidyadhara smirked at the result. Yep, still the same annoying and chaotic angel! She giggled at his reaction, Ren exhaled deeply when he calmed down. Dinda stood beside him, crossing her arms. "Had a newfound calmness? You haven't trained enough, seriously," she teased, nudging his side. "Faylan and I will have another training with the others, so... don't give up and you'll do just fine," she encouraged the latter to join the fun, Ren listens to her when he realized she's such a beautiful girl and--how could he not stared her beauty, it took a lot of confidence to hold it. After observing her reaction, he made a bold move.

"Well, maybe if you stop talking about it you will realize that I listened. So... mind if we can take a detour?"

Ren asked shyly, catching off-guard for Dinda who blinked innocently before she tilted her head in curiosity. "From where?" she asked curiously. He slowly stepped to approach her, putting his cold hands on her cheeks gently and softly. Dinda was petrified when he rubbed her cheeks with his fingers in a comforting and loving motion. Her silver-white hair glowed like a moonlight when she closed her eyes, they went brighter than usual as her body felt lighter for a while. Those green eyes opened slowly and sweetly, having a hint of tenderness that almost turned to longing...

Instead, he ACTUALLY said this. "Uhh... you really cease some weight, right?" Ren asked, breaking the mood which made Dinda puffed her cheeks and used her fingers to pinch his cheeks until his eyes were teary and his face was forced to chuckle in pain. "NO, FOR CHRIST'S SAKE RIYANDA--"

It's already sunset, and they have to deal with the gods now. Sakura was serving their customers as she brought some hot pots for them with the other divine servants, while Ruanyi played her instrument to entertain the restaurant that was almost finished in the soon-to-be Floating Sanctuary. "Ren, there you are--" she gasped softly when Ren had a huge ass red slap mark on his cheek, like it was recently had a sunburn or just a child is stubborn, he frowned annoyedly. "Uhm, yeah?" Ren retorted to her suspicious antics, before she raised her hand over her mouth as she giggled. "What happened? Did you forgot to use a sunscreen?" she asked jokingly.

The young Vidyadhara groaned, he couldn't believe a cheerful God of Rebirth like her saw him got scolded like a child. "Uhhhh, so... I tried to make Dinda accept my offer for a detour and... I guess I'm a dumbass when it comes to pick-up lines, but it still wasn't funny though!" he yelled defensively, almost kicking the table in the process. "I was lucky that my father didn't scold me nor punish me because I told him a funny joke! Well, it's all thanks to Hakuren's father and she told me that he is terrible at pick-up lines!" he snapped.

Yeah... what do you expect from a guy who had bad experiences with boys asking out his daughter; considering he nearly almost obliterated anyone who touched Hakuren just because they didn't want to lose his favor. However, despite all of these little incidents, you can say that his brattiness gradually decrease due to an embarrassing situation. Wait, it sounds the same as that but can you fucking NOT?! It felt like Rihan tried to tame him and stuff.

Izumo laughed to see Ren's slapped face, he patted his back, with his friends laughing their ass off before Ren grunted at him. "You need a fuckin' break dude, take a seat," Izumo offered, while Shiro was laughing at Izayoi's shenanigans towards Kushinada after he vomited from smelling an awful air freshener with orange flavor--it made the android wanted to punch the idiot because of his action (which is really foul play of course) and Prime watched in boredom, pretending to care. Until, he blushed when Andini fed him some food and he opened his mouth eagerly. "Come on, Athalla. You have to eat more!" she suggested.

Meanwhile, Ren was helping Konami carry some food supplies as they're working for the party for them. Everyone looked so delighted when they were singing and dancing a folk song in the restaurant, they even got drunk by the baiju that Xanadu brought for them and turns out it get disastrous once the Scions started to sing together. Ren was in the pavilion, he was scared by the drunkards when the rest are just having fun. "Damn, what the fuck?" he whispered, closing the door behind him as he let Sadana handled these drunk customers and shit.

After the Floating Sanctuary has been restored, they decided to head back home because Ren need to finish his high school stuff with Kaizo, Izumo and Hakuren. In addition of Shenlan, Farlan and Dinda--they also had to finish their studies with Konami, Shiro and Eiko (before Hyde and Kuroh had to get dragged into school). Ren finished his assessment homework at his home while living with his father Rihan, he grabbed a novel 'Sonata Nocturna the Winter Wolf Mail-Hunter' and he began to read them before entering in deep slumber, along with his BFFs. This is Ren's normal human life; he's an average student before he was informed to extend his service as Student Council President until the end of his third-year and graduation... with his friends.

Fuck, he had to find another successor after Shūhei and Hakusan's death. "Man... I'm bored, but not the same as I'm tired of seeing you working out hard," Izumo commented as he entered the room and sat beside the slumbering Ren. "Heh, you gotta hold your energy once you awake at daytime..." Kaizo replied, mumbling as he shrugged--holding his favorite novel book and also the one that Ren read it, letting out a yawn before he fallen asleep right beside Ren. He sighed in comfort, wrapping his arms around the sleeping boy's torso before he also fell asleep. "Ren... what's our final event for the school again? I forgot..."

Ren glanced at the calendar with the markers of reminder, staring at the notes on the bottom. "Uhh... Festival Concert?" he asked to himself, yawning and then his face twitched. "Dude, calm your nerves before you snapped."

"Not today, Satan," he grumbled annoyedly as the calendar on the desk was blown away by the wind, slapping straight on his face. There's no way he'll let Kaizo sleep on his couch or anything! He's just his bestie who happened to move to his home and helped him paying the rent while his friends just went to the movies or their house, of course that it isn't convenient! Hakuren grumbled, before she typed on her laptop to finish her study while the four sleepyheads are snoring a bit, she needs to remind herself to thank Konami for reminding her. "Okay... so that means we will be practicing our own parts later with Kaizo, Izumo and Eiko... good to know!" Hakuren assumed, humming softly as she mumbling while writing on her notebook.

Ren wondered how long he'll miss this position as a Student Council President at the end of his last years of third-year high school, he don't really care about success or academic excellence--except learning about the outside world that he discovered after the Phantom Eruption accident and--probably solving a chaotic mysteries even though he's kind of an awkward dumbass but brave. "Just put a pillow and don't stop talking, Ren," Izumo muttered, keeping his position. Ren scoffed as he closed his eyes, Hakuren continued on working as the rain pour on the streets in the morning. Kaizo was resting his head on the pillow, until Hakuren told him to sit up and forcing him to cooperate so she can complete the math problems.

Few hours later, Ren stretched his arms when he's awake after he just got home from school, he blinked his eyes and rubbed them--enjoying the smell of cup noodles and other snacks that made him drowsy. "Good evening, son," Rihan greeted him, sitting on the cushion in front of him while relaxing in the couch at rainy evening. "Dad, it's so damn cold outside..." Ren muttered, he was playing video games. The young teenager grumbled, he wrapped the blanket on him when he remembered he had a lot of blankets because they didn't spent their money for those unnecessary products. "Hmm... I guess that's a problem. Do you need something else?" he asked, rubbing his chin. Ren stood up and sit in the cushion, looking at his father with a bright grin. "Perhaps."

Ren realized that destroying a Phantom Samsara might risked something within the realm, but they're in luck as the heavenly servants from the Heaven Palace just happened to arrive. Remembering the words of Phantom Samsara's downfall that he said didn't really meant the actual downfall itself, but to stop the fake Heavens--the one that made from their greed and malice. Karma, that will come to them is already prepared as he waited on the day.

Some phrases might reveal, many of them can predict in the future.

He watched the rain from his bedroom as his father Rihan was making his favorite hotpot for him downstairs, he pondered if Nanda and Kuran were resting peacefully in the afterlife. Besides, the God of Wealth like her truly loved Kuran because the God of Pledge promised her that he will reincarnate after his death. It is an irony that Ren resisted the cycle, making him retrieving his former vessel and 'killed' these two gods with his hands... or in an alternative way. 'Are you happy now, Nanda? Are you happy that you and your beloved were reunited...' he thought, he frowned but showing no anger.

He really missed her teasings even though he still didn't like her betrayal, it's so complex for him. The memories after he woke up in that camp after the Phantom Eruption are so painful to watch, perhaps she and him will meet again in a different path? Ren knew that this will not be the last moment that these gods will return from the Realm, there will be at least one that will interfere and his anger will continue to rise when someone that he knows is in danger--or trapped.

There are many stories in Heaven.

It will haunt them, leading to their own personal closure.

Ren couldn't help but shed some tears when he thought of his grandparents' death, maybe it's for the best, because it is fate. He could have died too, if Kaizo, Hakuren and Izumo saved him; even though a few scars were left in them, they felt grateful to him when his name was revealed. Now that his father Rihan is alive, it made Ren glad. The past and the present are two different situations, this isn't his first time to deal with it. He even trying to get over Nanda and Kuran's betrayal against him, how dare they used him as a weapon? That was his limits and something that he never wanted to experience!

He thought the nightmares already over, even after Dinda soothed him with playing her zither and a song so he can have a good dream. But, it keeps haunting his mind and tormenting him once in a while. He wasn't a sad person, not that he knew of but his feelings were suppressed by his trauma. "Riyanda, the hot pot is ready--" Rihan paused when he saw his son Ren sniffling quietly, wiping his tears on his face--seemingly forcing himself to smile. "Don't cry, son... everything's alright," the man assured him, patting his shoulder but he continued sobbing like a kid. "I know you still unable to get over the trauma of being betrayed by the people you trusted. Because I went through the same, I lost my love of my life..." he added, Ren noticed there was sadness in his face that he rarely seen. "H-Huh...? Did you meet mom?"

"Well... I found her soul still wandering around in earth because none of the souls went up to Heaven, from what Sakura informed after she and Ruanyi checked the empty realm layers. So, I talked to her and... we're the same. I will give her some time to experience what it's like in real-world again, so... here's her soul," he said, showing the white glowing orb from his box. She waved at Ren, while the young man waved awkwardly. "Mother... it's very nice to see you again..." Ren replied, smiling a bit. "Your father makes delicious hotpot, Riyanda. Well, besides the fact that I'm not hungry," the woman mentioned as her voice was echoed.

"Okay... you're making a joke right?"

The woman laughed, Ren didn't expect he'll meet his late-mother after she gave birth to him before her death during the Phantom Eruption tragedy. "She will be recycled and reincarnated into a new body according to her wish, just like what Sakura did for Nanda and the other gods up there," Rihan answered with a smile, patting his shoulder as the soul disappeared after he chanted a spell, sealing the core energy from the orb into the locket before putting it in his pocket. "What's her wish, anyway?" Ren asked, the youthful man hummed and looking up to the ceiling--his fingers on his chin. "Well, she wanted to reborn as an animal with long lifespan, perhaps... Vermillion Bird? She likes that creature so, Sakura will grant her request to choose her new body in order to be happy."

At least, it cheered Ren up. He hasn't had an actual closure yet, thus this moment could do. What a twist for all of them, everything could change if the Scarlet Armband Army keep protecting the Oracle's Eye. "By the way, Dad... have you ever felt that you were Kuran's reincarnation before you became a Vidyadhara?" Ren asked, his father nodded with a frown. "Yeah, it was... a difficult job to handle as your usual self but when you attain to such levels--everything will be different, even your soul's history are change just to be compatible with the divine chi," Rihan explained, patting his shoulder with a somber expression. "Not gonna lie, Nanda tortured the fuck out of me because I'm not the Kuran that she wants me to be. Not the old Kuran too, from what she told me--"

"Tortured you?!"

Ren was outraged when he heard that fact, just how immoral these gods could be when he knows that his dad also got the same treatment by Nanda. "Even after I survived the abyssal hole in Phantom Samsara, I warned her to stay away from you when you didn't know that I'm alive--well... she didn't listen and still trying to harass you, as if it was a mistake..." Rihan growled, folding his arms. "But, they're dead so... she's not fucking torturing me again--" he paused when his son Ren sighed in relief, he agreed with him. "Yeah, looks like we're free to move on with our lives. But that ain't gonna stop us from defeating those dumbasses who are invading this world," Ren replied with a grin.

"Damn, you're still a rebellious little shit even after your eyes are awakened. In other words, I'm worried about your future, son..." the Vidyadhara pointed out, before he got his stern stare from his son. "Daaaaad, don't be like Izumo's dad Senjū," Ren whined, grumbling until Rihan snickered, pointing finger guns at him. "Pft, no need to remind me! I knew they will never change!" he joked, ending the sadness atmosphere between them into a relaxing one.

"Anyways, let's eat the hot pot I just made~! I put some good spices on it, specially for our dear boy in the end of the galaxy!" Rihan suggested as he showed his cooking, leaving Ren to be mouth-watering at the sight of food on the dining table. "Sure, Dad!" he smiled brightly.

Meanwhile...

Sakura was residing in her temple like usual, listening to the people who prayed for rebirth of their deceased ones as she smiled happily, before answering their prays. The current situation had gotten a bit better in the previous war, but it's not over yet. She have to keep doing her duties to maintain the balance in this world, to rebuild some things that were harmed from the war so far--in exchange for the sake of preserving peace. As she waved at the people that arrived in her temple during the renovation of the floating abode, she handed the white orb that was reincarnated into the bird--which is revealed to be a crane from the Chinese mythology.

"Ruanyi, are you having fun?" she asked with a smile at the God of Creation, watching Ruanyi playing her yueqin with a calm and serene but benevolent expression. 'She's no longer using 'Gong Yue' anymore, she's known as 'Zhong Qingqiu', and her powers as a deity also restored back,' she noted in her mind, letting the people who's having picnic entertained with her song. "Looks like those pesky idiots down there are going back for more, with their schemes," Ruanyi said casually, even though the anger flared in her voice. "We knew all about their ambitious nature and thirst for power, can you blame them?"

Sakura asked innocently, twirling the mahjong dices, as her smile quickly turned into a mischievous one. "Besides, this won't end so easy like you thought it does..." she chuckled, causing Ruanyi stopped her ministrations and calmly sighed with an unreadable expression on her face--which Sakura giggled and played with the German Shepherd puppy who became the guardian for the temple. "This shall continue until their anger with their foolish desires stops, even if we need to intervene our own selves," Ruanyi remarked. "You'll see, the new pawns already been prepared by the gods and..."

"Now now, Ruanyi. Let's make some peachy dumplings for those people!"

Ruanyi sighed, before she told her spirit servants to gave some ingredients from the cupboards for the new recipes as their snack. As she watched the puppies were playing with the Scions and other servants, Ruanyi pondered if Prime will do something with his Android warriors and creating the new androids beyond his reach--in addition of the young Oracle's Eye that lost their only parent, along with their friends who seek for him in some circumstances. White Swan did sacrifice their life to destroy the fake Heavens, which they left a legacy for all of them and the humanity and they sent regards for them.

The next day...

There was a new Tropical Paradise park that has been built by the Adinata Group, which perked up the interest of the visitors, including both of the amusement park and water park. Konami saw the others has joined the opening, it made her smiled happily as she asked Hyde for another date. "Come on, I can't wait to have fun!" she said, pointing her finger at his lips. Hyde furrowed his eyebrows, before he grabbed her wrist. "You know you're doing that for a bite," he said, putting her index finger on his lips. "Unless if you want to," he teased, biting on her hand and began sucking on it a bit, playfully licking it and Konami realized she allowed him to drink her blood, which can be risky or not.

"I thought you're that dangerous, and we still go to the park," Konami said, he smirked. "Who says that I stop at drinking blood, especially a good one such as yours, huh..." Hyde taunted. By now, both of them are like cats and dogs, being rivals and sometimes friends--they're still boyfriend and girlfriend even when he was contracted to her as a servant vampire. "H-Hyde, not here, please..." she spoke, while he didn't listen as his hands are roaming around her body, slightly brushing his fangs against her ears and nipping on it. His red fiery eyes gazed at her magenta-red ones, before he smirked. "You know what I love about you... you're irresistible," Hyde whispered.

"Get a room, you two!"

Izayoi yelled, walking beside Shiro, Yayoi and Kushinada as Prime and Andini snickered with Eiko. Konami glared at them, running out of the scene and Hyde laughed softly, smirking mischievously. They got away for a ride, despite Hyde's playful mind state wanting to bite her and drink her blood--even do what lovers do when they're alone. Konami put on her black bikini with light cyan frills and straps, wearing a light gray coat-like summer cover-up, dark blue summer hat and let her shoulder-length auburn hair remained loose; before putting on her sunglasses.

Hyde kept his blonde short messy hair with brown tips on his long bangs over his red eyes, his fair complexion didn't change as he fixed his frameless spectacles. He kept his dog tag necklace with his carved name around his neck along his bracelets and rings, he indeed has a lean and muscular body with six packs abs and he wore a dark blue summer hooded jacket, light gray pair of swimming trunks with red seams and he wore white flip-flops like hers. Konami kept looking away from his body, of course it is because she's attracted to his overall appearance; but she prefers to keep their public affection cool, though both of them couldn't handle themselves of being away from each other. Both of them have done inappropriate but rather innocent play as a Māra vampire partner and his host, when they went to the water park.

"Woah... so this is the large swimming pool with several slides around! It's even higher than the actual buildings in the water park! So cool!" Eiko exclaimed. Izayoi shrugged his shoulders, before he noticed the inflatable slide--which a stupid grin growing up his face and he instantly jumped, landing on it as his friends rolled their eyes when it was clearly unsafe. "Wait, you might suffer for this, bitch."

"IZAYOI YOU LITTLE HEL--"

All six people shouted after he fell down from the stairs, crashing the bottom from the height (seriously, if he were a human it'll kill him), and the boy slammed his head on the sand. Konami stood there with a drenched appearance, alongside Hyde who wasn't impressed because WHY IS KUROH JUST CHILLING WITH KAZUYA IN THE PARK AS WELL?! NO ONE IS LOOKING AFTER HIM, OKAY?

"Konami, let's swim with him in the pool, it's quite safe for us as compared to his crazy adventures with death, yeah?"

Shiro suggested with a smile, causing Konami laughed as he nodded. Izayoi hit his forehead and screamed in pain, and then rubbed it as Kushinada scolded him, followed by Yayoi slapping him while Eiko panicked, but was also disappointed as Prime recorded it with his videocamera and Andini waved with Eiko. "Athalla, wanna play some water rides?" Andini asked Prime, seeing him grew flushed just by being addressed by his real name. "S-Sure, but just this once, Andini!"

It was quite an adventure for these guys, that after all they survived through war, blood and danger in the future, they could have fun and make this moments as a memory--to tell those memories as a thing that never changed between them. Konami swam like a pro with Hyde beside her, only to accidentally have her swimming goggle dragged by the water... "HEY! GIVE IT BACK, HYDE! THAT'S NOT EVEN FUNNY!"

Everyone stared at her and Hyde, before they splashed at each other, bursting with laughter. As of yet, they live the moment as these kinds of days. Ren was in the amusement park, he saw the thrills in the roller coaster as he was tempted to try one with his friends; because they made a bet that whoever scream like a little wimp will be forced to buy some treats or food for them to eat, because he has fucking enough of Farlan who dared them by bringing his 'food' as a punishment for losing the bet. "WAIT WAIT! DON'T DRAG ME IN THIS BET, KAIZO! ARGHH! YOU BASTARD!" Ren screamed angrily, trying to bail himself from being a loser as he putted on his harness, closing his eyes as he braced for the impact. "Come on, it'll be fun!"

Shenlan agreed with a grin on her lips, the seven Vidyadharas are daring him to prove himself; they were also enjoying some high-risk and thrilling rides. Retsu stood there with a smirk, Senjū was sighing in disappointment while nodding in amusement and Reoh laughed nervously at the beginning of the ride--with Rihan gulped at the sight of it. "Do you think the kids will be okay?" he asked, before Retsu snickered at his response. "Relax, my boy Kaizo always kept his cool under pressure, be aware of something else other than the danger will come," Retsu advised, pointing at the view. "Uhh... why you do that?" Senjū said in confusion.

When the roller coaster reached the top, it went down to the ride as they all screamed like a fucking idiot, because most of them felt frightened and excited. "Nice to be young and never fear any danger, huh? This is the life!" Shenlan commented, while Dinda was yelling at her in the middle of Farlan's coolheaded face. "I can't hear you, Shenlan!"

Ren yelled as he can see Kaizo was keeping his composure like usual, except Izumo who screamed like a bitch while the others, Ren isn't sure that they were shouting like idiotic dumbasses. Reoh enjoyed the ride but some were complaining, Retsu only waved his arms like a dumbass and Senjū had enough with this shit and lastly Rihan was laughing like an idiot when he saw them standing at the gate of the ride. "BRINGING LAUGHS TO ITS FINEST!"

"FUCKING BITCH, DON'T YOU DARE YOU SCREAM IN THE RIDE! AND WHERE'S YOUR BRAVE FACE?" Kaizo screamed angrily as they get out from the ride, Ren thought of how funny they were when his chest were bursting in happiness, clenching it. Until, he wanted to vomit badly as he bend over to the trash can and threw up, before Izumo rushing into the bathroom and Hakuren rolled her eyes at them--then she saw Kaizo who take out his paper bag and vomited into it, Reoh laughed sheepishly. Retsu whistled with an impressed face and Rihan snorted in shock, before Senjū snickered. "He faked that scream, bet he wanted to look cool at first... but you are in no position to do that, right, Kaizo?" Rihan said calmly.

When Kaizo recovered with minty fresh breath, he put a chewing gum back and get rid of the smell (throwing it on the trash can), walking as if nothing has happened and Ren yelled. "Hey, I saw you cheating!" he argued with frustration, the boy glared at him as his eyes staring him down. "My bad, having a vomit reaction just means it's fucking disgusting and it made me looked weak, you know--" he froze when he wanted to vomit and he ran to the bathroom. The others looked at each other, beaming in amazement as they high-five.

Back to the water park, Konami finished the water rides with Hyde as they were getting changed and wearing their summer outfit. She wears a black tank top covered by her white-blouse reaching her thighs and black-cyan blue shorts above her thighs and sunglasses--wearing a flip-flops and her summer hat. Hyde wears his summer shirt covering his torso, along his navy shorts, sunglasses and sandals. "That was a fun ride, let's grab something to eat--" she yelped when Hyde sank his fangs deep into her neck when they're away from public sight, sucking on it deeply as his hand is holding her neck on the other side. Konami gasped, hugging him close as she covered her lips.

"Ngh... g-goddammit," she panted, letting him devour her blood. The girl couldn't get enough of him, the feeling of his sharp fangs made her shuddered in response. Konami always liked it when he bit and sucked her blood in a different way, it was a pleasing sensation for both of them. Hyde pulled out from her, licking his lips as he placed a hand on her lips. "Huh, shame that I really love you, since I made you taste something sweet to soothe the pain," he smirked, brushing his fingers through her hair. "Not funny, jerk..."

Konami protested, before he lean down to her face to kiss her softly on the lips, while the water drained around her feet. She could taste his blood in her mouth, he could taste her blood when his fangs brushed her lips earlier. "Our love is our only sin, and that's what makes me get into you," Hyde joked, causing her groaned. "Bastard, don't say such shitty pick-up lines," she muttered, trying to hide her red face with her hair as he pecked her cheeks. "I mean it, darling."

"We can still take our date now, what do you want to eat or what do you want to do at the park?"

Hyde asked as she hugged him, he wrapped his arms around her. Konami smiled, as she stared at the sea and sky. "To be honest... just holding me. To be here by your side, is my favorite scene."

Konami replied, before they went to the restaurant near the swimming pool of the water park, eating a very tasty food they want to take. The taste were different, but filled with many happiness and adventures, many thing has changed... it was like, to be in a paradise while having a life on earth.
