Ren wondered how his friend Konami and the others like Shiro, Shūhei, and Heinrey going out there--he pondered why Hakusan was observing them from the distance; even though he's planning to going after Shūhei. No matter how many times his father told him to stop what he was doing, even Hakuren had to deal with his asses as she had no idea what relation she had with him. He was entering the temple in Semarang, known as Tay Kak Sie Temple where the people are either taking photos or praying in the morning. "Huh... looks like I have to be careful in here..." he muttered.
Ren tasked the others to guard the temple, while he need to seek the Oracle's Eye members by having him tracking the soul resonance from the weapon with the staff and the holy amulet; one was stolen, one was to track the enemy's Core and a new weapon. He sensed another energy, so he immediately turned to the side as he raised his hand into the air and released a huge forceful push--in a speed of light. "Hah, you know us Tiryags already, Riyanda Tjahyana."
The Indonesian girl spoke as she stood beside the tall Japanese young woman, standing with a sly smile on her lips. She had medium length wavy brown hair, just below shoulder length and framing her forehead--she has a pale complexion and dark brown eyes. Wearing a black kebaya-like blouse with a long black skirt, with a gold buttons on her blouse. There were silver chains clipped to the left side of her skirt, from one of which dangled the music note symbol. She also wore a necklace with a small square-shaped pendant. During her hospitalization she wore casual clothes, mainly sweatpants and t-shirts. She also often had on various bulky jackets, which were decorated with lettering, patches, and other designs.
The taller Japanese young woman of her age has a short brown hair which contains blonde highlights, wearing a black kebaya janggan-like uniform an ankle length skirt, and a black corset under her school shirt. The back of her uniform is decorated with a rhinestone skull and rose, covered up by her furry grey and white coat. She had several accessories, including large hoop earrings and a cuff bracelet. She also wore a pair of stiletto heel boots, which were replaced by flat-soled boots when she fights and the tallest--reaching his height.
Wait, what the fuck is Tiryag? Are those humans infused with Core of Yakshas or something? Ren was shocked but refuse to act impulsively because the weapons are locked, and he don't want to interrupt the prayers since he and the others are in the sacred place for the Buddhist people. Seeing their Core of Yakshas within them, as the two has a powerful soul--he cleared his throat. "You're... Erina Paramitha and Akira Sadou..." he recognized the two women. "You certainly surprised me for the first time and I happened to track both of you without difficulty, heh. Please, we have to stop... this is no good..." he pleaded, their eyes were flaring but calm at the same time, how did Ren survive their deadly strikes? It might be a trap, setting them off was not their intentions...
"Hey, chill down will ya?"
Erina said happily, smacking his back that made him yelped in pain as her palm was so hard. Ren was relieved, they were harmless--that's good for the temple. Ren sensed that somebody has killed the Oracle's Eye member, from their location--the Floating Restaurant of the Gods can even appear to the mortal as a plane, ship or whatever it was hidden and was there somewhere near the temple. He glanced at them for a moment, before he asked. "What are you two doing here, by the way?" he asked, since they were of his age. "We came here under someone's order, you know OUTLAW?"
Akira stated firmly as she folded her arms, giving a cold look which intimidate Ren again. 'OUTLAW? What are they?' he thought, before he recalled the rumors of OUTLAW being the assassin group under Indonesian shadow government and Secret Garden's commands (the 'main' branch of the unofficial paramilitary organization itself). The Chinese-Indonesian knew that these assassins employed to assassinate the 'traitors' of the country, since they just want to protect the democracy without letting the corrupted parties ruining the order. Ren took another moment to think, they also coming after the Scarlet Legion--the rivaling government of World Government? No doubt those Oracle's Eye bastards had encountered them before meeting them at the temple.
"Uhh... no, can you tell me about OUTLAW?"
Ren asked curious, which Erina grinned. "Promise you won't tell anyone, especially the international military officers?" she asked, Ren gave her a thumbs up with a grin on his face. It was like a classic thing every young people do, breaking the rules while exposing and hiding the information with everyone else. He knew it too well, about the government's hidden secrets and was likely the most common taboo anyone would do, but Akira didn't see it in his eyes. "They're like a subgroup of Secret Garden, but has more unique job to take out the people who's becoming threats to our homeland. Unlike us, the division of the branch we're related to," she explained, and she continues. "The higher management may be Secret Garden and shadow government, but we're managed by OULAW--the leader is Kayana Sahanaya Tirta... or Kohaku."
Akira explained, she has met him in person before--not gonna lie; he was so young in his early twenties like his friends and colleagues but very strict and even merciless towards the corrupted ones, whether the ones who want to destroy their countries's image or identity. "Of course, OUTLAW is mysterious as an assassin group where the law enforcement's most wanted criminals would never come close or touch them, but we're aware. We have a different primary roles. Besides... our primary reason on surviving while killing the bandits and enemies is to protect the dignity and glory of Indonesia and hope of the youths and the future generations," Erina added, confirming that they are always keep watch and see the world changes.
Well fuck, Ren had to keep a good image if he encounters one of the assassins codenamed Kohaku--the man who commands the fearsome band of assassins, he may kill a lot of people but he wouldn't even think of being cocky to disrespect him. He was well-known with his friends in the underworld business, more like mundane desires but he wants to keep his friends in line since the black market could affect his reputation. He never get involved with 'godly matters' on top of that, the power he hold is great and powerful to kill somebody... no wonder there was rumors of him who was powerful enough to killed three Vipralopa-class Phantom Beasts at one time.
What surprised Ren the most was the OUTLAW members are all young men and women, perhaps the secret organization had to train their young at age fifteen and make use of their 'strength' to exterminate the evil-doers or find the Remnant. He was not able to feel the presence of the crew inside the temple, which make them entering together to continue their talk.
"The OUTLAW band is in charge of the elimination of traitors who were part of certain issues to shatter our countries and images into pieces, most of their victims are corrupt figures, drug cartels, dirty cops, and terrorists..."
Erina explained as she was cleaning her short spear on a rag, as Akira is cleaning her shotgun gauntlets. Those who are trying to harm the young soldiers and the country will be executed without warning or mercy, only lead by Kohaku. He gave the absolute authority to his comrades to eliminate these fools who dared to stand before him, his men or women, killing with precision and silence, unlike how the Oracle's Eye does or using unknown methods to preserve their secrets or their faith. "Unfortunately, we can't expose his public occupation since he's a lecturer. The rest that we know about him, is that he's the highest authority here and one day, he will return and rule over these unruly and corrupted sons of bitches," Erina chuckled, finishing wiping her weapon.
"Of course, in each country across the world, there would've been at least one or two OUTLAWs that would stay in each places to monitor, keeping an eye for their job. Maybe you will encounter their leader when he's arriving to deal with these scums. If he arrives with his two bodyguards and colleagues, be prepared--Riyanda Tjahyana..." Erina mused without removing the grin on her face, while Akira kept her vigilance upon the boy.
Ren remained calm and steady, still searching through the sound of his weapons and finally sensed the source is close. But before he realized it, someone tried to attack them--he can see the badge of Oracle's Eye was pinned on his clothes. "Watch out!" he yelled, Erina grinned as she let Akira handle it--she used her gauntlet to punch his solar plexus, before smashing him in the chin by the shoulder. The assailant landed on the ground with Akira swiftly hold a small revolver, planning to kill him. "Who sent you here?" she asked, her face was emotionless while pointing the barrel on his head. The perpetrator glared with fury behind his mask, despite he could feel the darkness swirled around her eyes as he was in her hands.
Erina kicked the mask away to face him directly, kneeling to see the person's scarred face--probably when the leader ordered them to cut his eyes just like any other thugs who has the same branding mark on their skin. How lucky he didn't die because of Ren's arrival, but Ren don't give a flying fuck because the fucker wanted to defy the god. "Why are you here?" he asked the attacker, then the enemy decided to answer their questions. "Oracle's Eye wants to destroy the hope of the living by stealing their lives. We are the Oracle's Eye, we want to defeat those gods who are against us, bringing disaster and chaos around the world," he replied.
Ren punched him before pinning the enemy on the ground, as his eyes flared with absolute fury... nevermind his promise; but this time he did it for good--what the Oracle's Eye had done was way beyond extreme, Ren wasn't that an idiot to let these bastards spread the horror around the world just because he's afraid for their safety. "Give us the information and I may let you live, willingly or by force, this depends on your choice," he threatened, which Akira smirked--yes, a sadistic smile on her lips as she put her hand on Ren's back. "You're quite enjoying seeing him fearing for his death, uh?" she asked, walking her fingers on his spine--and he shivered with those words. Erina laughed at the situation while leaning against the temple's wall.
"Leave it to us, Riyanda. This is our 'job' after all, you got the information you needed after this."
And so, Ren waited for both of them to torture the bastard until he let his guard down and reveal what he know about his leader's plans to achieve victory. He didn't trust the information entirely, but he knew the Oracle's Eye that they hated Ren a lot, wanting to make him suffer by breaking his people.

Flashback...
Konami was panting heavily when she was laying on the ground with her stomach, that Phantom Beast attack was so chaotic that they have to seek for safety. This city... why did Ren told her to reside in this island? Konami rubbed her eyes as the owner of the inn helped her and tended her wounds. "Huh, are you okay?" the eighteen-years old girl asked, approaching her with her best friend as they helped Konami to stand up. "Y-Yeah, but... who are you guys?" she asked.
The girl has a had long and curly brown hair with pink highlights, light tan complexion and olive-colored eyes. She wears a dark Prussian blue blouse and short matching skirt, with a red bowtie ribbon similar to sailor-fuku. Over it was an open white and pink sukajan jacket with a carp design on the back and batik motifs underneath the jacket, she also wore the music note symbol along with a star keychain. She had a hot pink fingerless gloves before fighting, her accessories included large hoop earrings, a multi-colored puffy bracelet, a white belt, and a cross necklace. She wore shiny red shoes with thick leopard print leg warmers. "Huh, I'm just a visitor in this inn. My name's Widya Rustanda, this girl here is Onda Sakai. Be careful, she's dangerous as hell."
The second girl wears a black blouse with a short skirt, along a dark green and black jacket with a design of a silver dragon soaring over Mount Fuji on the back. She wore knee-high black lace up boots, with thigh-high black stockings underneath. Her accessories included two silver studded belts, a black bracelet and several earrings on her two ears. She had long black hair, braided on the left and a silver-slate eyes. "Uhh... okay? Did something happened outside? she asked, Onda grinned. "Some certain witch creates a disaster earlier, involving your somewhat friend... Heinrey? Dunno, but you better watch out," she said.
Konami nodded, as the Indonesian with half-Japanese descent heard the sound of scratching from outside and she opened the door--seeing a hedgehog ran and she closed the door immediately. "Woah! It's a hedgehog!" the child of the tavern owner shouted happily, hugging the creature happily and tightly as it made the latter squirmed in pain. Konami was shocked, before she scowled and snatched the hedgehog and hold it gently. The hedgehog sighed softly when Konami holds him, good thing she was gentle enough with the creature. "No, please don't hold him like that..." she said, which made the little girl cried.
Well, she feel bad for it but... Heinrey is the issue here.
Heinrey handed her a key to his house, before he spoke. "This is a key to my house, you'll find Shiro in his room at upstairs, this key is for the black door in my room and this key here is for Shiro's room in the upstairs with the brown door," he told her, she nodded as she goes to leave the tavern and headed to his home in the forest. She wondered what is Shiro doing here, so she headed there on her own and unlocked the door. "So, this is his home...?" Konami muttered, it looks quite... simple. Although, the atmosphere was gloomy, most of his room looked like a normal home or stuffing it was full of notes.
She then, saw a black door--before she unlocked and opened it with a knock, and what she saw surprised her. Oh... Shiro was sleeping on the coffin-like bed (he's not a vampire, just the bed's style) and look like he's hibernating. "Uhm... Shiro?" she called the light gray-haired fifteen years old boy, making him get up from his soft bed as his eyes groggily opened, turning to her. "O-Oh, Konami... right? Good morning," he greeted, rubbing his eyes before he yawned.
Konami pouted, looking at him with her hands on her hips while being annoyed. "It's noon already, also Hyde told me to get you here and come to the tavern, something happened and it's a long story," she informed, and the second statement made his eyes widened in surprise. "What happened now? Did I missed so many things?" he asked, wanting to know what had happened. As he was getting his luggage from the closet, wondering why did something bad happened when he wasn't here. Konami feels like her mouth is going sore from the 'see-what-happened-during-your-absence' tale, putting an expression of 'please don't make me do it'. She knew if any incidents were happening during his absence with him is responsible, causing the boy sighed.
Few hours later...
Shiro was surprised to see what happened here, after the chaos outside is over and the witch ended up fleeing from there. Konami was messed up as well, before she yelped when Heinrey turned back into his human form. "Damn, you scared me..." she muttered, before she saw how badly injured he is. "Uhm... Heinrey? Is there something wrong?" she asked nervously, hoping that she didn't offend him in either way. Heinrey shake his head, before he tucked his hands inside his pockets. "No, it's fine... there's nothing wrong, just an incident," he spoke, not looking at her.
Konami was confused, perhaps she was too kind or attentive that made her not looking out of herself--she sighed after she find out that her home got crushed thanks to that bastard. "I-It's fine, Heinrey... I know it sounds complicated but, I was trying to help you and... I'm just worried if you got hurt," she admitted, before Heinrey stated--looking at her. "It's fine, Konami. You did nothing wrong, I'm just thirsty for blood--that's all," he explained, making her nodded. "Right..."
'By the way, where's Shūhei?' she thought, seeing the man named Demian approached them with a smile--apparently this man is a governor of the town. "You kids can stay in my mansion, since it's the safest place from the Phantom Beasts' attacks--I can guarantee your safety with our hospitality," he offered, at first--Konami didn't really trust him just because they met for the first time. But, for the sake of place to stay--she just wanted a rest. "Sure, it can help!" Shiro said happily, making Heinrey and Konami stared at him with confused and puzzled expression. "Heinrey and I also need a place to stay too."
Konami shrugged, she felt her hair growing even longer--making her take out her knife since she didn't bring her scissor with her. As she adjusted her white scarf around her shoulders, she approached the mirror for a moment. "I need to cut my hair first..." she muttered, before she hold her hair with one hand and used the knife to cut them into shoulder-length cut. Heinrey knitted his eyebrows together, watching Konami cut her hair--he wondered why did she cut her hair for a moment. Shiro was busy packing his stuff, while Konami finished tidying up her hair and grabbed her luggages. "Konami, you're coming too?" he asked.
"Yeah, my house got destroyed so..."
"Ah, I see..."
Konami sat beside Shiro with the hedgehog on his lap, she caressed the streaks gently as she planned to change her clothes after they moved in.

End of Flashback...
Konami was stretching her arms when she got out from the bathroom, in her newly looking appearance in front of the mirror after a bath and the aftermath of the Phantom Eruption. Her final hairstyle is a shoulder-length auburn hair with longer uneven bangs, almost covering her dark brown eyes and fell between her face. Wearing a black turtleneck and black mini-skirt underneath a dark Prussian blue slit dress, has a "cut-off" sexy slit on the upper long sleeves revealing her upper arms. A black belt with silver circular buckle attached on the front around her waist. Wearing a thigh-high black boots over her thighs with straps, black arm-length fingerless gloves and white scarf around her neck. Putting on on her prescription frameless glasses, she almost entirely a different person. "Well, at least it won't bother me…" she murmured quietly with her arms folded, before she let out a deep sigh. "That was a disaster, of course..."
Heading out from the room and look around the rooms of the manor, she did had a strange feeling whenever she met the owner who allowed the guests to stay here and looks like a good person. "He must be busy, but let's go with it," she smiled when she began to walking down the stairs and heading out, the morning breeze was refreshing here. "Good, my brother is a doctor of the infamous police department here--I know where it is!"
Konami ran across the sidewalk and heading to the directions since she visited this place before, good thing her friend sent her here with Heinrey and she was grateful of him. The police department was large and spacious in front of the gate--she wondered if her older brother who was Indonesian with half-Japanese descent is here. "Dr. Kazuya Yuzuki, is he available?" the receptionist nodded with a smile, folding her fingers on the desk asking her. "Are you his relative?"
"That's right; I'm his younger sister, I came to visit him."
Dr. Kazuya Yuzuki, the twenty-five years old forensic Indonesian doctor with half-Japanese descent of the department was stretching his arms while enjoying the breeze of the canteen's garden, he yawned while adjusting his glasses and checked his wristwatch. "Big brother, you're okay!" he heard her as he turn around, seeing his younger sister came all of a sudden. "Little sister, I'm so glad you're alright from yesterday!" he yelled happily as she stopped in front of him and high-fived him and he did that in return, it's been a while since she has seen him and visited him once in a month. "Also, what happened to your…?"
Konami knew it was hard to explain because she has something to tell him, she look around before she look back at him. "We have been here the whole time, you know? My friend sent us here to evacuate from the Phantom Eruption, so we had to look for new home," she explained.
Kazuya tilted his head to the side, but he was curious instead of surprised since he believed in supernatural things. "Phantom Eruption, huh... Phantom Beasts has been part of our annual lives. But, I didn't expect them to attack at each seven months' first month," he muttered, before he smiled at her. "Also, since you had a man with a Māra in him, *just try to keep yourself safe and get out of the mansion as soon as possible. I don't want any trouble from him, he'll probably kill us both for no reason."
Konami paused when he said that, feeling like a bucket of ice cubes hitting her back when she saw that. "What did you say?" she asked, shocked that he didn't want to know about it. "Look, I won't change my mind, okay? And, I don't want to get involved either," Kazuya elaborated, somewhat adding fuel to the fire on her. A vein mark almost appeared on her forehead when he said that, she let out a deep exhale and nodded. "Alright then… I'll figure them out by myself!" she declared and made him jumped in surprise, he didn't think she would get easily worked up. "Konami… you better not trying to do something stupid, if you do…" he tried to persuade her, but she didn't really want to listen.
Konami walk out from the police department with angered expression on her face, walking down the sidewalk in trying to process what happened earlier and ended up ranting. "Stupid brother, what is he thinking?!" she kicked down the trash can across her, heaving with almost deep voice but thankfully there's less people in here.
Heinrey was putting on his shades after accidentally breaking his glasses, he was heading out from the alley. That's when he suddenly saw her kicking the trash can on the ground, that made him surprised by her raging outburst. "Woah, Konami... dear… what's wrong?" he asked when he stared at her, she couldn't help but frown while looking at Heinrey. "Oh, Heinrey... well, my brother is not helping me, being an asshole like usual."
Konami said when she folded her arms, still in the bad mood as she walked beside him. Heinrey wrapped his arm around her shoulder in casual manner, looking forward.
"Your older brother huh..." he sighed with a faint smile when she said that. "How did that happen?" she heard the vampire asked her, before she cleared her throat. "Long story short... he got himself involved with some vampires, I think they are in the Lakeside town. Also, he didn't want to get involved with it, so I have to handle everything--"
Heinrey was taken aback by the situation, he actually didn't expect that kind of answer from her. "But, I don't want to! It's not my problem! I'm trying to protect you from them and stuff... that's why I told you that there might be danger," Konami whined, pouting. "Why would he said something like that?!" she cried. "It's not like we wanted to involve ourselves with that nonsense, anyway--" she cut herself off when she realized that Heinrey is still talking.
"Hey, I didn't said anything like that, I only asked why you're so angry at him... he didn't said anything that would hurt you or make you upset, I promise."
Heinrey said while put an arm around her shoulders, before she glared at him. "Urgh, he's being stubborn," Konami grumbled, knowing well her older brother Kazuya can be a handful whenever things got difficult, especially when it comes to supernatural creatures. They headed back to the mansion, they have been staying there for two days and yet they keep getting bothered by Demian's presence--is his smile that... fake or real?
After coming back to the manor…
Konami stepped down the stairway of the manor and stretched up her arms, she yawned that she was getting something to eat in the kitchen. "I'm hungry, I should get something to eat…" she immediately dropped her arms down when she saw none other than Lizzie in front of her, making a sandwich when she pointed her finger at him with shocked expression. "Y-You're the one who…" she uttered, she was shocked to see him here.
Lizzie turned around with humming a song when she noticed her, a smile has creep up on her lips when she approached her. "This must be our first time meeting, right?" she held her hand for handshake, letting her baffled by the presence. "Lizzie Bennett, nice to meet you, Konami."
Konami didn't say anything when she was letting go of her hand, shocked in her spot before Heinrey came into the scene. "What is going on-" he paused when he saw Lizzie literally standing in front of her, knowing that she was so baffled by this and Heinrey snapped at him while Shiro was busy with making a sandwich. "Wha--Demian, what the hell is going on here?!"
Demian smiled at him, clasping his hands. "Ah, she's my friend, is there something wrong?"
"No I mean she's--"
Heinrey was beyond pissed that Konami had to take a side with Heinrey himself, she can't believe that Lizzie was here the whole time and what the fuck is this shitface doing. "Oh come on bloodsucker, it's not like there is something serious," she remarked, grinning at him. "I'm not staying here when this brat is in your home, besides she's the one who cause everything!" Heinrey snarled, not liking on how she had to stay with him.
Konami watched her arguing which made her twitched her eyebrows and their loud voices making her growled, resting her hands on her hips when she snapped at them. "Enough!" she yelled--both of them stopped once she did, before she scowled at Lizzie mostly. "I might as well going to leave if you're here in my sight ever again, and hell if I trust you!" Lizzie grinned at her when she's saying that, as if she was brave enough to do this. "Oh really? Prove that you can trust anyone other than me!"
Heinrey frowned when she left and he took Konami hand and lead her towards the second floor, as she was surprised when he did that--they were talking privately to prevent anything suspicious. "Do you trust her?" he asked her as he just want to be honest with Konami, besides he seems interested that she took the step over the line. "Actually no… I don't trust her after what she did…"
Konami answered as she frowned at him when she's standing in front of him, folding her arms while looking at the window. "If only that we can leave this place, it should be for free?" she asked. That question made Heinrey laughed, seeing her sarcastic remarks was so much satisfying. "Like hell we'll do that, probably find a way for tomorrow and…" he paused when she receive a phone call from certain someone, which she pick up the phone. "Huh... it's..."
Oh right, it was certain someone who has been helping her and her friends.
Meanwhile, Shiro was making sandwich as he saw his best friend Shūhei joining him making dinner together. Until, Lizzie came inside and somewhat... hurting Shūhei to the point Shiro got mad at what she did. From how she attacked him with her power, which made Shiro even more angrier. Why didn't Demian do something with it? This is it, he doesn't even want to stay here.
***
"What… did you say?"
Kazuya nodded as he was sitting on the couch inside the inn with a certain friends of his, who recently let him stay for a while. He has been here for a month with his friends, while he was sitting beside his best friend. "Is... is it true?" she asked, watching the Indonesian sighed. "Unfortunately that's true, after what happened to his wife and evacuated with her children from there with her brother and the witch. There has been a ton of shit happening with him, that alone was this son of a demon himself; Demian and Lizzie--here's the evidence."
His best friend placed the tape recorder and the pictures of their actions, he sighed deeply with a glare on his eyes saying. "Another unfortunate event, I can't report this to the police due to their huge trust upon hi---two of your friends got kidnapped by that witch of his. Also, please get Heinrey away from these two bastards," Kohaku added. These can't be happening that she need to stop this, she had to find Jilian and need her help--but what can she do after find out what happened to her? Kazuya also told her that she was threatened by him and even the outsiders can't stop him. "That's it, after what he and Lizzie did… I will make them pay!
Kazuya's eyes widened when he stand up and left the inn, he stand up and tried to stop her. "Konami, don't!" he snapped, but his best friend rose his arm at him and prevent him from coming after her. "Let her be, I feel like she's more than humane," he glanced at him sharply and the doctor was surprised by his sudden choice of words, but he obliged and folded his arms with saying coldly. "I'll do what you say, Kayana, Byakuya."
On the other side…
Konami approached the door of the manor and kicked the door open, figuring out two of the people got kidnapped by Lizzie. "Demian!" she yellede as she start to search for her two friends and there she found him in front of her, in the hallway when she was panting heavily from running. "You figure it out, huh?" he clapped his hands with a smile when he applauded her for her discovery, she's more than daring to face the half-Phantom Beast. "I knew it, you're looking for your friends right?" she cuts him off, not wanting to waste her time.
"Cut to the chase, where's the witch?"
Demian tilted his head when he was smiling grimly at her, before he cleared his throat and spoke. "Somewhere no one can see, otherwise you might get yourself into deep trouble."
Konami clenched her teeth that he was hiding something from her, both of her eyes were shining in magenta-colored with dilated black pupils. She was tempting to kick him with her boots, but she hold it back for a moment. "Oh, you don't want to tell me, I will discover this on my own then!" they fought for a while but it didn't end well and she couldn't withstand him--the insanity made her grew weak that the fear of dolls made it worse. "Haha! Let's see your true power, Konami Yuzuki!"
Konami look up at him with glaring eyes, clenching her fists. "Shut up…!" she yelled when she tried to stand up before him, panting when she held her head. He continue to laugh maniacally and this alone driving her crazy, until she remembered something that Kohaku told her:
"His wife will never love him, everything he did for his family was beyond worse for them. Do something that will either piss him off, or make him insane."
Konami take out the gun received by Kohaku from her pocket dress, filled with the holy bullets with the holy waters loaded. "Your wife… never love you when you're like this, she's not happy…" she muttered.
That made his eyes widened when she said that, somehow that struck him with denial and he insisted with loud voice. "No, NO! Lies, that's not true! That's a lie!" he denied while stepping back, hearing the shot and the bullet hit his shoulder-burning the skin since he's a demon. "That's true, she suffered and never been grateful because of your actions. You're a horrible person, Demian Winters."
Demian was mad and insane at the same time, unable to control his feelings when he felt the three holy bullets shot his abdomen. There were six of them and she continue to shot him, until she stopped at the last when he spoke. "Don't you dare said something bad to my wife! She never hated me!" he hit his back at the locked door, weeping uncontrollably from his red eyes when she muttered to him. "You will atone your mistakes soon."
Pressing the trigger of the last bullet, she finally hit his heart.
DUAR!!!
Then she put back her gun inside her coat, kicked his head with brute force to the wall in offense. The damage hit from the black strapped boots also slowing down the recovery and increased her kick, speed and agility.
DUAK!!!
Konami slowly coming back into her normal state when she find out she had just killed him, her eyes widened that she noticed the blood on her coat and her hands--even her boots. Her eyes widened, seeing the crime scene that happened before her eyes. "T-This can't be…" she shake her head that her pupils still dilating in sharp state like a cat, she had to deal with the witch and she kicked down the door with her foot. She should be here, better hurry! Konami thought when she reached the third floor, the rooftop room when she kicked down the door--while Jilian stole the corpse of Demian and decided to do something with it.
"There you are!"
No one was there and she went silent abruptly which pissed her off, she had stepped forward and clenching her fists. The anger filled in her head and she was about to kick everything in here, until she unlocked her highly, enhanced senses of within her and saw what it can't be seen. "That must be it!" she yelled. Her power increased as she jumped into the place and breaks down the door, laughing softly that she kneeled on the ground in one knee. "Girlie, think that you can get away?" she taunted.
Lizzie turn around as she find out she was here, breaking through her magic and made her astonished by her sudden breakthrough. "Oh my god, how did you get in here?" Konami stand up and brushed off the dusts from her sleeves and slit dress, she look down at her with her magenta eyes tinted with amber. "Enhanced senses, that's all you know kiddo--after I taken down the little friend of yours," she spoke.
Konami huffed, looking at Shūhei who tried to get Shiro out of here--before she glanced at her. "Too bad, Demian is dead. It took me hours to kill him, but it's better be late than sorry."
Her eyes widened that she had defeated Demian by instance, started to get worried that she was all by herself and the two people in here. "What did you say? What did you do to Demian you bastard?!"
Konami walked towards the table casually and look down at the science tubes and potions, she swung her arm across them and breaks them on the floor. "Oh, I just beat him up to death, not sure if he's dead but technically I bashed his head," she said with a smile, ignoring the blood on her cheeks. It revealed that Konami is a pure sadist ever since she was 'reborn' in this new form after meeting Heinrey.
Lizzie hissed and tried to swing her hand to attack, but it's useless when she evaded it--preventing her to escape. She was screaming when she kicked down the table with her foot in half, withdrawing with her knife on her hand. "Don't! Stay away from me!" she insisted when she stepped back to the wall, hitting her back on the wall when she turn around to face her. "Only if you let them go, I might spare you… yet."
When she stepped closer to her and the witch was crying because she ruined her plan, the young adult man with light orange hair and purple streaks got up on his feet and carried his best friend. Finding the opportunity to leave thanks to her and made her distracted by her, thanking her later after they patched up and done with the mess they had. "Thank you, K-Konami…" he said as he smiled at her with a nod, before they left--he must thanked her later of what she did to them.
"No, please don't…"
Konami watched her begged and she chuckled with a smile, before she snapped her fingers and look away from her. "Tsk, fine… I'll leave everything to you, you're already useless without him so… see ya!" she grinned when she passed her and walk out from the room, before she closed the door and breathed heavily from the emotions she had earlier. All she felt is nothing but hollow and numbness, what is happening? It made her shiver just by recalling what she did.
"Konami!"
Kazuya approached her after what happened as he was worried over his younger sister Konami, she had a tired eyes and feel like she had done something unexpected. "Pack up my stuff and leave this place, brother," she told them while walking passed them, her mood starts to deteriorate that she had to reflect herself from what she did. "I… I need some time, to reflect myself from what I did."
Kohaku and her older brother stared at each other in confusion, until he saw Jilian came and carried Demian's corpse and Kazuya had to accompany both of them. "I think that make sense though," he muttered. Konami walk out from his manor and somehow she was stunned by the fact that she did it by herself, she couldn't believe it and she sat down on the ground behind the tree at the waterfall to calm down. Also, her weapon got broken during the aftermath of Phantom Eruption--so she had to rely on her boots.
"Hey, you're good?"
Kohaku asked, watching Konami sitting there like a loner. "Sorry… it's my first time killing someone… I never done it before," she replied, burying her face into her folded arms. "You can't normalize of killing someone, but what can we do if that person is horrible for what he did? I understand your point, and Demian is quite hated by all of us… but you did the right thing," he explained, looking at her as the Tiryag trying his best to cheer her up. "Don't overthink about that, if you killed a beast--that's fine, because they're our enemy," he added, before he thought. 'Well, not the one that my lecturer had though...'
Konami nodded when she think about it, before she thought of Heinrey--he may be bad but he's not far of killing his friends. Although he's a Māra-blooded individual with greed of blood, there's still some side of him that shows he really cared about her. Oh god, she had a lot of things in mind and she needed a break. "I think I need a break from Hyde until tomorrow… like I won't meet him for a bit," she said. Her mental state was still struck from what she did from earlier, that's why she wasn't in the best mood recently. "Take your time, don't force yourself."
"I know it sounds classic and dumb but… how should I let him know? Writing a letter is not my skill, and he doesn't have a phone!"
Yeah... that's the problem there.
Kohaku facepalmed, like technologies these days are insane and beyond out of control that not everyone has the same talent as what he has here. But, the question is; "Do you think there's something like carrier pigeon for the modern vampire from other worlds?" he asked, but Konami hissed. "No fucking way!" she snapped, he sighed with a frown. "Just for a joking, relax!" he joked.
They'll figure out for that later on, but not now.
