Chapter XII: White and Blue Porcelain

*ೃ༄

"Dear Heinrey,

I want to let you know that I won't be seeing you for this day, perhaps I'll be back tomorrow to see you. At first, I don't want to write this letter because it looked a bit stupid. I want to reflect myself from what happened and I can't tell you what reason, perhaps I will let you know what happened when I recovered.

You know? I think you're not only a kind person, but you do care about me and your friends at dangerous times. Although on the contrary I don't like how you killed people, that doesn't mean I hate you for what you did. For some reason, I don't know why but--I feel something more than just friend. What is it called again?

Nevermind, it's not the time to think about it. See you tomorrow, I guess?

P.S. Here's the phone that I bought for you, added with instructions and my number."

Konami hates writing letter so much, she cringed to death when she had to make this for him. She's not in a bad mood like before, so she's doing a very good improvement. She placed the letter in front of the door of his house, before she turned to leave. It made her face went beet red, like this year is an advanced technological era and he doesn't have a phone? So, she had to buy an expensive phone for him (except Shiro and Shūhei because they lived in modern world like everyone).

Heinrey read the contents of her letter and almost snorted at the end, holding the cellphone with the instructions of the letter-with her number. Sliding his back against the door with emotionless expression, he started to remind himself of someone with the similar traits of her. "It's like Emily rise up from the dead…" he mumbled when he stand up from the floor, he folded the letter and put it back inside his pocket and he was about to go back to his room of his small house. "Hey, what's that in your pocket, Heinrey?" Shiro asked. He glanced at him with glaring eyes, totally not in the best mood. "Shiro, I told you not to--"

Shiro take out the letter from his pocket and he tried to get it back from him, he read the content while using his other hand to block his hands. "Ah, Konami… our friend who saved us, guess like she's loveable?" he snickered when he handed back the letter to him, he continue to snatch it from him while Shūhei tilted his head at him. "Are you guys done? What was that?"

Shiro shook his head as he took a bite from his sandwich, when he finished chewing--he spoke. "No, we're done. Heinrey got a letter from his girlfriend anyway, so he's gonna read that."

Shūhei whistled when he smiled in response, understood of what he mean so he isn't surprised. "Oh, I see… alright, I think the ointment is downstairs--do you want me to help?" Shiro shake his head with a smile, before he turn around and felt his foot limping a little. "I'm fine, but I guess Heinrey will help me since he know where it is." he said, before he glanced at him. "Heinrey, could you help me downstairs please?"

"No."

"What, why?"

Shiro asked, noticing how annoyed he looks. "You said Konami is my girlfriend, she's not," Heinrey said as he folded his arms, giving him a dirty look on his face after what Shiro implied about him. "You could go and get it yourself," he insisted while walking away, he headed into his bedroom when both of them stared at each other. "Well, I guess I'll help you down instead of him… he's pretty less friendly…"

On the other hand, Konami stretched her arms that it was already evening and she yawned a little. When she finished her dinner, she heard her older brother spoke. "Konami, did you visit your boyfriend?" Kazuya teased his younger sister with a smirk, Konami glared at him when she look away from him. "Heinrey is not my boyfriend, don't make any weird assumptions," she said when she headed upstairs and went back to the room, she was so tired that she need a break until tomorrow. "Heinrey… isn't that the vampire who almost bit me?!"

Kohaku ranted when he lowered the book while sitting on the couch, Byakuya lifted his eyebrows. "You met him before?" he asked, he stared at him before he look away from him.

Konami stretched her arms when she got out from the shower at the morning, wearing her main attire from yesterday that it was the spare one. Adjusting her glasses, she stared at the window for a moment before she walked downstairs and fixed her white scarf. "Konami, breakfast's ready!" Kazuya called her with a smile, carrying a plate of pork soup and grilled pork made by Corrine. "Thank you!" she thanked him with a smile, hugging him from beside him before letting go.

Rex Levine; the Phantom Hunter and Kazuya's friend came into the dining room with a smile, he was stretching his arms when he went excited of the breakfast. he's tall and handsome with youthful face, he has a longish ginger-red hair and wrapped up with a black and green-stripped bandana. He has amber-shaped slightly downward-slanted eyes, he has fair complexion and wears a black eyepatch over his left eye and what lies underneath is unknown. Wearing a black uniform with white borders with red scarf, tight black slacks tucked into thigh high brown boots. The large hammer he occasionally carries was sealed in a black stick, wrapped around his right thigh.

"Good morning! Are these people our new guests?"

Kazuya sipped his cup of warm coffee, reading the weekly newspaper on his hand when he look up at him. "That's right, after what happened to Demian--we let them stay and rest," he placed down the cup of coffee, glancing at Konami eating her pork soup. "Are you alright, Konami?" he asked. She nodded while she's checking her cellphone, her eyes widened that she got a number from someone thanks to Ren's help. Goodness, it was Heinrey!

"Y-Yeah, I'm fine! I was surprised by someone adding my number."

After getting her breakfast done and thanked her, she bid them farewell that she gotta go out for fresh air. It was horrible that yesterday was the most 'memorable' memories with killing and self-reflection, but she manage to cope with reality and treated this situation seriously. "Man… it's time to move on," she said when she sighed with a smile, until she went to the forest and decided to take a look around. "Oh right, what is Heinrey doing now?"

Heinrey was still thinking about her letter, not even sleeping that he's a vampire Māra and he sat up. "Heinrey, do you want to get something to eat?" Shiro asked as he glanced at him, he shake his head when he stand up and walking passed him. Wearing the attire she bought for him, a white collared shirt with rolled sleeves to his elbows. With the black and orange vest with black scarf, turquoise tie, bracelets and rings, along a black slacks reaching his knees, black and yellow shoes and black thigh socks. "No, I want to go out for fresh air."

It was early morning when she came out from the inn, she has arrived at the forest and looking around. Her mind was cleared from the dark thoughts in her head, before she stopped to see Heinrey in front of her. Her cheeks flushed a little, it made her flustered after he read the letter--that's the LAST time she will write something for him. "H-Heinrey!" she called. Heinrey stopped on his tracks when she was in front of her, his expression was calm but not emotionless like how he expressed yesterday. "Hey," he greeted her when he held up the letter, he seems not awkward at all. "I read the letter and… thanks for the gift."

Konami sighed in relief when he thanked her and she nodded with a smile, she look around that they're the only ones in here. "Mind if we can stroll around and talk? I need to get fresh air and touch some grass," she asked when she stared at him, he shrugged. "Sure, go ahead... but I'll take a lead," he said as they walked together to the path, there was silence that she seems had a lot of things to say. It was awkward at first, but he decided to be the first to speak. "How are you lately? Are you feeling fine or something?"

Heinrey asked her and it was rare to ask if she's okay or not, probably due to her reflecting herself. "Yeah- I'm fine, a lot of things going on and it fried my brain a little bit," she replied--thinking about it was quite difficult, from Kazuya's trust issues--it was a disaster. "My brother and his friend wouldn't mind if we're friends, just telling me to stay cautious and not getting trusted too much."

"I see…" the vampire said when he listens to her, somehow he feel a bit bad that he let her going along with him. "I think… we should not be together, for once."

"… that's right."

Konami muttered when she smiled sadly at him as she stopped, somehow he stopped as well and she look up at him. "Sorry if I caused you trouble Heinrey, it's just there's something happening in there. I don't know if I'm strong or not, other than relying on my skills in fighting--but I was tired of being weak and helpless," she said, somehow taking the blame for herself.

He listens to her and he went surprised by her guilt, he shake his head when he spoke. "No, it's not your fault--I swear; it's me. I've been taking you away from your brother and friend and hell, your friend hates me, everyone does but you. You don't deserve this… Konami, you don't deserve all the shit people give to you."

Heinrey went silent for a while, after he almost mistaken her for someone and he spoke again. "You remind me of someone, and yes… it was a long story, and that's not all," Konami was surprised by his statement, she nodded with an understanding smile with her hands behind her back. "Ah… I see, you can tell me if you like," she said. At first, she certainly a bit curious why did he mention someone before, but she put that aside and walked beside him again.

"It was my previous master before the Cataclysm and I always been by her side and such. Her name is Emily, she was a really good person and cared about her people, always there to help them in anyway that she could and… I liked her or… I guess it's more than that, love her," he scratched behind his head, as he looked ahead and not at her. "Long story short, there was a conflict that is far for me to remember, she has a belief that she can make everyone happy and peaceful by sacrifice. She sacrificed herself… and died after about a few days, her dying was just pointless…"

Heinrey trailed off before clearing his throat, before he narrowed his eyes softly. "But, her personality and acceptance of everyone just makes you reminds me of her and… another previous master of mine was quite careless like you even in the past with my friends, but… you reminds me of her."

Konami frowned when he explained that to her, no wonder he finds her familiar and she often get mistaken by someone. Heinrey was silent with his arms folded behind his head, even she was silent after processing the whole background and thinking if she could tell him as well. Her past is different but it can be said quite sad, parentless while living with her older brother and the elders. The latter had made her a decision, and she finally made it.

"… Heinrey."

After a minute, he stared at her when she called his name. Then she suddenly stopped in front of him, hugging him and seen a bit shorter than him--her boots has a bit heels on it. Heinrey hadn't realize until now how a little bit short Konami was compared to him. He always thought they were the same height. "Sorry… I always wanted to do this for a long time…" she spoke while resting her forehead on his shoulder, closing her eyes to hide her embarrassed face.

Heinrey dropped his arms to his side, as he was pretty astonished even when she said she wanted to for a long time. It made him wonder why, knowing that he has such a curiosity in him. He wrapped his arms around her, still didn't know why he cared for him so much. It's been a while since he hugged a human before, the third time but it was 'different' compared to before.

Konami felt his arms around her and she opens her eyes, shifting a little so she could speak with him. "I don't know why but… it's very comfortable when it's you, Heinrey," she said with a smile, it was comfortable and warm when she hugged him. Not gonna lie, she likes to do this not only to him--but everyone too. "I'm glad to be your close friend--no… best friend."

Heinrey didn't know what's going on with himself, but he was glad no one else was around. But then--he felt like he was doing something he may regret, or probably her as well. The vampire cleared his throat, his voice was calmer but soft at the same time. "Konami…" he said when he pulled away slightly from her, keeping his arms around her back and waist. He tried to convince himself it wouldn't mean anything, he shouldn't hurt her feelings because she's no ordinary human. Heinrey lifted her head a little with his hand behind her head, kissing on top of her forehead. "Thanks."

Konami's face went red as tomato when he kissed on top of her head, she starts to whimper in embarrassed but she didn't shove him away. Instead, she laid her forehead on his chest, trying to hide her blushing face. "Y-You're welcome… please don't tell anyone even my brother," she pleaded that this was another step of more than just friends, she still embarrassed while not wanting to look up yet. "I-I'll tell you about myself, p-probably after this was over…"

Heinrey smiled a little as he was glad that she didn't shove him away, it was so adorable that she was the one who he met for the first time. Seeing her blush as well made him chuckle a little, nonetheless it's cute for her. "Yeah, don't tell anyone…" he muttered--he then became a little more serious, feeling her let go a little and look up at him. "I plan on going to live without making trouble," he informed her when he glanced away, before he spoke again. "But still, would you like to be my Master?"

Konami reconsidered for a moment, before she sighed. "I'm not sure if I'm good enough though, it was…" she murmured, looking at her broken black thigh-high heeled boots--looks like she need a new one.

"You don't have to do much, unless you're in trouble; or I can help you to do that," Heinrey said when she pulled away, he did the same. As he tucked his hands in his pockets, he continue to speak when he look down at her a bit, informing her before he could go. "I'll be back in a second first, so wait for me in a hour or so?"

"Got it!"

Heinrey nodded when he turn around and walk away from her, she sat down on the rock nearby waiting for him. The vampire ran his fingers through his hair when he hummed, returning to the house and opened the door. Shūhei jumped when he was eating his sandwich, seeing him returned and he asked him. "Y-You came back, have you… decided?" he heard him as he forced a smile, scoffing at him. "Put your ears back on, not like that I want to stay or something."

Shiro was sleeping soundly on his bed at the room, not knowing he came back and still not awake yet. Hyde twitched his eyebrows in annoyed when he stood by the bedside, pulling the blanket and flicked his forehead with his fingers. That made him yelped in pain, opening his eyes and sitting up when he felt it. "Ow… what was that--oh… Heinrey," he blinked at him, confused that he came back already. "What are you doing here?"

Heinrey grinned when he tucked his hands inside his pockets, lifting his chin up arrogantly saying. "I want to break the contract and release you, so you're no longer my Master," he informed him casually, thinking that he would be happy but it seemed to be the opposite. Shiro blinked, before he asked. "Right now?" he figured it was too soon, considering that it was dangerous outside even Demian and Lizzie was. And he came here just for this? It's still too early for him, but still he seems to have insisted him.

Heinrey rolled his eyes, insisted him when he look down at him. "You will be fine, I swear. You don't have to worry about those idiots, you can perhaps protect yourself… even with the one who saved you."

Shiro watched him take off one of the rings from one of his fingers, before he shattered the accessory that it turns into dusts. "Thank you for your hospitality, as I will consider you as my friend," he said as he turn around with a smile, walking away and leaving the house as well. "Don't worry about the stuff, I don't bring any at all," he added. He couldn't help but feel a satisfaction, perhaps the ring was a bit uncomfortable since he only needed three on each of his fingers.

Konami yawned that she was waiting for him, not sure what to give to him as she pouted a little. They usually don't need an item or contract to be partnered with vampire, surely do but without guarantee and very complicated that she sighed with a grumble. "Man… I'm curious about them, also what kind of Māra did he descended from?" she muttered. Then, she look up at Heinrey who came back and she smiled when she sat beside him. "How was it? And wait, I thought your rings only had four on the left?"

Heinrey glanced at her when she asked, he huffed a little. "Oh, I broke it--don't worry too much; I don't mind though," he said with a small shrug, he look at her from the side. "Alright, you have done one step which was to give me something," he said when he stood up, holding out his hand to help her up and she did. "Next, call me by human name, then I'll bite you."

Konami began to think what did she gave to him, her brain almost fried that it made her forgotten something--damn she hates using her brain sometimes. Scratching her head with her hand, she started to laugh nervously. "Uhm… sorry, what did I gave you last time?" Heinrey held up his palm with comically annoyed gaze, he pointed his thumb at the dog keychain. "This is what you bought to me," he said. Her face was surprised but she deadpanned, thinking for a bit. How would I know if I gave him that, as an aesthetic? But, she shake her head. "O... kay? Let's cut to the chase."

Heinrey paused for a moment, before he spoke. "Lastly... call me by human name, you can call me Heinrey again if you like," he said, Konami didn't really like the name at first--but since she's a fan of William Shakespeare's .. her head thought of one name that made her tempted to say it; but she hold it back because it might won't fit his appearance. So, she thought of another book she always read--making her smiled at him. "Alright, I'll call you Hyde then."

Hyde nodded when he stepped forward and moved her white scarf, showing her neck and pulled down the turtleneck to reveal her bare neck. he leaned forward and had bitten her on the same spot as before, she bit her lower lip and clenched his sleeve a bit with her hand. The vampire figured she wouldn't want anyone to see any bite marks so she had the scarf on, when he finished--he fixed the scarf on her neck and he stepped back. Konami was panting lightly in pain that she watched him stepped back, until a strange sensation reacted within her and made her sensed something.

A glowing black chain appeared with one around her left wrist like a bracelet and the other attached at the back of his neck, revealing the gold from his side and blue from her side. Hyde grinned smugly at her, seeing her eyes dilating sharply when she felt her hidden strength awakened. "Hyde, at your service. Your wish is my command," he said and took a bow, the chain seemed to move when he moved. After a minute, it disappeared and he snapped his fingers that caused her to pass out--and she did.

Hyde caught her before she could fall.

Somewhere...

When she wakes up she would see the darkness around her, but then it would light up to show a path. On the sides would be a random objects shown, before she realized something.

She was in his mind.

The creature seems to be there as well, as a hedgehog. But, it was different than what she saw from Hyde. The color is completely black and his eyes happens to be glowing in red, it doesn't look like him for some reason... even though the sound seems like 'it'. "Follow me," it said, but it wasn't directly from him--it was from the hedgehog that looks like his hedgehog form. Konami nodded as she followed the creature as Hyde turn around to lead her the way, looking around as she asked. "Where am I? Who are you?" she asked.

"You are inside of Hyde. I am apart of him, I give him power."

The voice sounds distorted, it made her feel slightly uncomfortable--but she followed the hedgehog nonetheless. "I have a gift for you, do you like gifts... dear Konami?" he asked, making her muttered. "Yeah... anything is fine."

With each step they took, the light would show before their eyes. After a minute, he stopped near the pile of gifts--all raging from big to small ones. He turn around in circle, encouraging her to pick one--then he stopped. "Pick one, pick one!" he prompted, making Konami look around as she tried to use her brain and think of some gift she needed. It took her one minute to pick up the gift, the small box of present in front of her--she just want it simple. "This one."

"Yay, gifts are fun!"

The small box box began to levitate and and the ribbon slowly untied by itself, it opened a flat and came a small orb up a handle of the sword appeared, closely resembling Konami's katana that was broken. Orange flames shaped the the blade and it morphed into different sizes, before becoming smaller and smaller before forming into a small white flower as her main weapon. Her eyes widened to see her pair of thigh-high black boots with straps formed on her legs, becoming her secondary weapon.

The flower landed in two hands, it was Hyde except he's not a hedgehog. He was standing in front of her and in fact, the hedgehog was perched upon his shoulder. Hyde twirled the flower with his finger, he spoke to her. "Close your eyes," Konami was slightly surprised before she when she closed her eyes, while she was standing before him.

Hyde waited for her to close her eyes and when she did, he gently placed the flower ornament on the side of her hair. "Use when it's necessary, it's belong to your now; Abyss Flower," he said, before stepping back. He grinned as if he made an art peace for disappearing, while her eyes were still closed.

"Wake up."

He spoke, when she opened her eyes--she would be back into reality.

Konami take off her spectacles and rubbed her eyes, shaking her head as if she woke up from a nice dream. When she fixed her hair, her eyes widened and she blushed as she felt the flower on the side of her head. "D-Did you make it into a flower...?" she asked.

Hyde had taken them by the church, sitting across it by the tree. When he heard her wake up, seeing her touch the flower on the side of her head. "Ah, I had to make it simple. Can't have anyone becoming suspicious of you carrying a different weapon, plus you got your boots back," he said, pulling his knee up. He realized until that riot, he had never noticed this church here--not like he would go there anyway. If they had cameras or checked them, they would see who the real killer was.

Konami hummed, before looking at the church across them. For some reason, she never see the church here--perhaps she was too focused on escaping from the riot mess and ended up getting injured. However, she still suspicious over those people. He remembered that he told Shiro to make new accessory for Jilian, so he doesn't have to change into his hedgehog form everyday--it's getting annoying if he had to wear shades when he goes out in the morning. "Yeah, I'm pretty much aware about it… not like I want to forget," she said as she pulled up her knees up, staring at him when she kept her promise to tell him about herself. "Just like we promised, I'll tell you about myself… and don't expect something happier."

"Go ahead, I'm all ears."

Hyde told her since he doesn't mind as long it fair, he told her about himself and she should do the same. "Okay, I don't want to bore you so let's start with my family... but you don't need to listen to it," she said with a small shrug before looking around at the empty street. "I don't know my biological parents are because my older brother and I were adopted when we were orphans... so I used to be relying on my older brother Kazuya because he's the backbone of our adoptive family--and now I finally able to get education and work because of him. But he got married; but it doesn't last long since his wife died in accident when the ship sank, so I became his sole guardian..." she sighed softly as she stared at her hands folded together, remembering how painful it was. "I just turned eighteen today, and my older brother Kazuya is like... twenty-five years old now, so he has a job and lives on his own."

"He has a good job though," Hyde commented as he watched her, listening carefully to what she was talking about.

Konami looked at him and smiled, before she replied. "Yes, he became a doctor, so... I'm kind of proud of him."

Hyde understood how she felt when she told everything about herself, now he feel a bit bad that she had a lot of struggles like her friends do. "Also… I like seeing you in your hedgehog form, it's… kind of really cute," she blushed a little when she said that, playing with her fingers while not looking at him. Hyde glanced at her, before he look away and blushed a little. Then he cleared his throat, looking down and picking at the grass. "I have to go back to the hospital, I left something there... you can come and see your brother if you like," he said. He left the ring that Shiro gave to him that Jilian made, hopefully it was in the same spot--he couldn't keep himself in the shade forever.

"Oh sure!"

In the hospital, Konami was waiting for Hyde to get his item back--only to see Kazuya just finished his surgery which made her flinched at the blood on his surgical robes. "Damn, where were you, bro?" she asked, watching him rolled his eyes. "I just finished surgery today, don't 'where were you, bro?' me like that!" he snapped, while Konami merely laughed. "I'm just asking, besides I came here with Hyde y'know," she answered. Kazuya blinked, who the fuck is Hyde? Until, he saw the person he thought was Heinrey--it was him?! He watched Konami approached him and waved at her older brother before they left. "Oh... so that's the guy... I should've told Kayana about this later..."

Meanwhile, Shiro and Shūhei were in the house as they talked like usual. "I used to live with my adoptive mother and sister, we lived happily in a house. But, when I get home... they were killed," he explained, making Shiro surprised when he described his past. "Well, I was the last of my kind... the White Tiger tribe, a hunter killed some of my kinds until someone protected me from that man... the hunter did experimented me and that man saved me from that incident--before I met Heinrey."

All he remembered is that he saw a man with a black metallic mask over his eyes and a foreign outfit with the theme of white tiger--making him wonder if he was one of his tribe in his village. With a spirit of white tiger and blue flames around him, a majestic aura that somewhat 'commanding' to any kinds of white tiger and blue flames. Shiro hasn't forgotten that man, like who is he? And how did he get into that area?

Shūhei sensed a spirit possessing him which made him flinched, his purple-colored eyes turned crimson as he let out a deep chuckle--making Shiro noticed how different he behaved now. "My my, so this is Shūhei's little friend, hm?" he asked, looking up with a feral smirk on his lips--it doesn't seems to be Shūhei who's talking; it was someone else! "Who are you?" Shiro growled, he yelped when he suddenly manifested his scythe and goes to assault him.

All of a sudden, Konami turn around as she sensed something from the distance when she and Hyde are in the path of the forest. "What was that?" she muttered, before she approached Hyde's house and made him knitted his eyebrows together. "Konami, wait!" he yelled, catching up on her until they saw a smoke coming from his house. Oh no, this isn't good. "Something bad happened to Shiro and Shūhei... I can sense it..." she muttered, taking out the flower from her hair.

Hyde was already at the door, before he growled. "I knew that guy was no good," he said, before he saw Konami hold the flower on her hand. He grinned, taking her wrist and bite on it--making her yelped that it formed a white katana on her hand as she hold it; the bleeding isn't bad but still it was painful. He unleashed his black rapier as well, before he opened the door. "Shūhei!" he yelled. "Shūhei! Stop this instant!" Konami snapped, glaring at him. "What have you done to Shiro?!"

"Oh, you two again."

Shūhei greeted them, which Shiro tried to restrain himself from his scythe--he didn't know why but a surge of his strength went back as he transformed his limbs into his half-white paws and clawed at him. "Get away from there, Shiro!" Hyde warned, making the latter coughed from the smoke inside the house. "No, I'm not! I'm not letting that entity hurt Shūhei here!" he snapped, which made it worse because the house was getting burned down... it was too late. "But, he...!" Konami persuaded, even though it might be useless. Hyde glanced at Konami, before he glanced at Shūhei. "Hiding your true self and taking advantage of Shiro," he said, shaking his head as if he was disappointed. "True friends don't do that, he's going to hate you... Shūhei."

Hyde laughed after he said that, before he hold his rapier in front of him to block his attack. Shūhei huffed, before he grinned at him--revealing his canines. "Let's see if you can defeat me... both of you," he muttered, allowing Hyde to see his canines (plus Konami who also saw them). "Huh, that's not a fair fight, isn't it?"

They fought as Shiro was still weak from the assault, trying to regain his strength as he didn't want Shūhei to get hurt--even though he was possessed by someone. Konami tried to think of strategy to stop the entity, but not hurting Shūhei because she can tell Shiro didn't want him to die--but how? Until she found a solution. "Hyde, don't kill him--just keep hurting him for distraction so I can demobilize him. Also, keep an eye on Shiro, he's looking for something in his pockets!" she yelled, before Shūhei swung his scythe as she blocked his attack with her katana; she flinched by the strength that this kid has.

Hyde was holding his rapier up, holding himself against the swing of the scythe. 'This guy is crazy...!' he thought as he lost his balance and quickly jumped back, but the scythe made him bleeding a little on his cheek as he was panting a little, his arm bleeding a little before he heard Konami spoke and he glanced at her--when she mentioned not to kill him. "Wh--this guy nearly killed Shiro, plus he's burning down my house!" he snapped, before he turned to face Shūhei. 'You little piece of shit, wanna aim for the neck huh?' he thought, gritting his teeth.

"Back then, I have a poor background before I got into school with Shiro. It was difficult for me to adjust myself in my life without my adoptive parents, living in the dorm with friends are fun... although it doesn't last long, since Shiro and I became friends," Shūhei started with a somewhat pout and sad look on his expression, while he was still possessed--before he broke into a sinister expression and a smirk. "Perhaps, I can 'atone' my sins through killing all of you."

He listens to his 'sad' little story, he never believed that Shiro and Shūhei are friends. When he's distracted, he swung his rapier and pressed it against his neck. Since he was contracted to Konami, he had to listen to her and not kill him; only to make him bleed in pain by his rapier. Konami landed behind Shūhei without letting him know, panting quietly as she also got injured because of the cut on her arm as well. Shūhei smirked as he saw that these two were now vulnerable, but then he met the rapier meet his neck. He felt the blade cut his throat a little, which he scoffed. "Pfft, do it--I dare you."

Shūhei stepped more forward, allowing the blade to cut his throat a bit more. He was quite curious if he really going to attempt the act right now.

"Not so fast!"

He heard Konami from behind as he felt her kick meet his head from behind and Hyde jumped back from there, her boots not only increased her kicks--but also increases her speed and agility, allowing her to move fast that makes him look as if she is flying. The hit from the black boots also slow down the healing times of any kind, so it might made them bleed profusely by her strong kick. He stumped to the side, feeling the pain envelope and it was so painful unlike ordinary kick--he held his head slightly as he cursed. "Okay, I'm so done with this--" he was getting annoyed as he decided to burn everything in his sight, making the three of them stepped back and out from the house.

Welp... it got burned, let alone the smoke puffing out from the roof.

Shūhei was holding his head in pain, it was bleeding that the kick was ten times painful and it left a bruise on his head. Shiro used his paw to smack Shūhei's head from the side, knocking the spirit out from his friend and he fainted afterwards. Konami was panting as she laid her back on the tree, while Hyde is hiding to make sure if everything went well. "Fuck, I need to breath..." she muttered, her katana reverted back into a flower and it flies back to the right side of her head.

Konami watched Shiro and Shūhei from the distance, she fixed her spectacles as she slowly stand up and coughed a little. "Guess I let them have their time..." she muttered, fixing her scarf and brushing the dust from her outfit.

Shūhei listens to Shiro as he stared at him, still noticing his smile--he turned away slightly while saying. "Alright, if you say so..." he muttered. He was hoping Shiro was telling the truth about it, he really didn't want him to get hurt ever since they have been together as longtime friends. "Just... please stop getting yourself in danger," Shiro added, making his eyes widened and Shūhei replied with full of guilt. "I already said sorry though..."

He still felt his head pounding in pain, causing him to hold it slightly. "Who kicked me in the head anyways?" he asked, laughing under his breath. "Gotta say, they got me pretty good," he added, sitting down on the ground before he said in joking tone. "Ow, it's actually very painful!"

Shiro hummed, before he glanced at him with a smile. "It should be Konami, she has a strong legs y'know," he answered, the latter whistled. "Woah, no wonder it hurts so bad..."

Then, they encountered Konami and Hyde who was standing in front of them. "Alright... now back to the business, regarding my burned house..." Hyde grumbled, Shiro realized something now--so Heinrey is no longer his name... because he intentionally saved him from the fire. "Wait, wait--why... why did you actually saved me earlier?" he asked with a stammer. Hyde scoffed, seeming to be suspicious as he glance at his own house; it was fucking burned, he hate it when that happens... and now he needs to move out. "Yeah, your name's not Heinrey anymore," Shiro said.

"Well, yeah, my name is Hyde," the blond man smiled as he corrected the white-haired boy with black streaks, before he gave a glare to Shūhei with his arms folded. "You fucking brat, it's your fault--by the way."

Shūhei merely scratched the back of his head nervously--just because he's a student doesn't mean he knows magic or what... turns out Hyde is much scarier than Heinrey (even though he's the same person). Then again, their body language is quite different. It's nearly impossible for Shiro to tell between them apart, but Shūhei did broke his arm. "Shiro, stay away from this guy," Hyde warned, while Konami had to stay put and let Hyde has the 'alone time' with the two. She needs to keep them in check.
