The white snake stared for a moment at the dead, simple-minded fish, who was once feared by many, and decided its next target for farming precious exp and for its next fun activity.

As it gulped down the corpse several meters longer than itself, it noticed the stares of other sea creatures hiding and observing the situation. It reminded the playful snake of its toy, which it left behind, and an urge to play a bit tag emerged− the eat or be eaten survival edition~, obviously.

It noticed that it slowly took longer to reach the next level, but that in no way demotivated the not-so-tiny snake; instead, its excitement grew even stronger as it slithered towards its next target.

The big fish, who, like its mad sibling, had an unusual placement of its lower teeth, looked at the glowing creatures peacefully swimming through its territory. It munched absentmindedly on a stone, their species primary food source. It was still in disbelief after receiving the shocking news that its detestable sibling had been killed by a new, seemingly even crueler creature.

Their parents, even though they feared their brutal child, were still devastated by the news of its passing and shut themselves in the cave they called home. In truth, deep down, just like their remaining child, they felt a deep sense of relief. “Finally, it’s over.” They thought secretly.

None of them understood how one of their kind, who are known to be righteous, peace-loving and known to protect other weaker creatures from the menacing creatures lurking in this deep, dark ocean, could turn out like this. The polar opposite of the vegan, stone-eating and protective fish. A bloodthirsty, corpse-eating maniac who enjoyed hunting the weak! How sacrilegious! Defiling their proud why of life and sacred traditions!

Just thinking about it made the siblings blood boil with anger and distaste towards its already-dead family member. “This scum is not worth mourning!” it thought as it swam patrol, for some reason feeling uneasy as if something dangerous was coming their way.
