Already at the camp, things seemed equally tense, after all, the place was buzzing, with some spy ninjas returning to report on the situation in Kiri.
"Will we have all our forces ready for the attack?" Mei asked amidst a table full of leaders.
"Yes, Commander Mei, we are preparing our forces for the clash," one of the commanders said.
"That's good, we need ninjas with the 'derrar' element at the forefront. To create barriers against the enemy..." Mei commented.
"Are we counting on Naruto to fight at the front?" one of the men asked as everyone pointed to Naruto; it was more of a provocation than a real question.
"Don't worry, didn't I say I would do this many days ago?" Naruto spoke calmly, seemingly unfazed by the man's provocation. "You know the front line is for those who know how to fight, the weak and disabled have to stay behind." He added at the end.
"What did you say?!" The man clenched his teeth upon hearing this from Naruto.
"He's right. You are cowards who love to talk, but stay in the back line," another commander taunted. Then a discussion started among those elders.
"All of you! Can stop and keep discussing," Mei tried to bring order to the place, soon after. "Let's continue the meeting and focus. We will have an invasion of ninjas with Earth affinity and Naruto will also participate in the front line combat since he volunteered himself."
The elders kept arguing after that, and everything finally seemed ready as Naruto left the tent and walked through the camp.
"Hey, Naruto!!" A child's voice called him in the middle of the busy place.
"Lola. What are you doing here? You should go back to where all the children are... It's not safe here anymore." Naruto gently reprimanded the girl.
"But I know you guys are finally going to fight the bad men! You're going to protect everyone, right?" she asked curiously and Naruto nodded.
"Yes, I will protect all of you," Naruto said with a small smile.
"Then it's time to pass the flower of justice to you!" She said as she took out the white flower she had been caring for since she picked it more than 6 months ago, and Naruto looked at it curiously.
"I want you to keep it, so it gives you the strength you need to protect us!" She exclaimed with childlike innocence, while Naruto nodded to that, as he didn't want to break the girl's excited expression.
"Alright, I will take care of it and gain the necessary strength so that everyone can live in a free country," Naruto said, taking it.
"Good luck, Naruto!" Lola exclaimed at the end and ran back to where the non-combatants were staying.
Naruto nodded and continued walking until he left the camp to find Akame training alone. She stopped training as he approached. "I hope you're not using your eye," he said calmly as he approached.
"No..." She replied.
"I hope not, I don't want you to use it until there's a life-threatening risk, after all, we don't know how to prevent your blindness," he said with a firm tone to her.
Akame nodded at Naruto's demand. "You're going to fight on the front line, can I come along?" she asked right after.
"You cannot. You know I will be needed at the front line and no one can hurt me there, just stay with Mei and the others so we can end this with no unnecessary fatalities," Naruto said.
"But..." She insisted.
"Akame... this fight is just the beginning, we don't know how the other nations will react to the Mist Village... One thing I've realized from reading about the history of this world is that the great ninja wars always start with greed and petty reasons, some even sabotaged situations to create the war," Naruto spoke calmly.
"I understand..." She said after sighing a bit.
"Now let's train a bit, I want you to be ready for what's going to happen not just in the internal war, but in a possible invasion from another nation as soon as they see Kiri in its weakest state," Naruto said.
Both spent the day together training, the camp continued to be bustling, while Naruto felt there was no longer any reason to wait, the war was finally approaching.
He asked Mei to gather everyone; it was time for the final preparations. She did exactly that, summoning all those who would fight, while the leaders stood on the platform with the commander.
Naruto found himself among them, as more than 5500 ninjas were gathered in front of him, some with nervous, determined, hopeful, and even disheartened expressions. It was quite common in such a situation; many lacked confidence, while others were more optimistic.
"I'm gathering everyone here because the time has come. This fight will determine what Kiri's future will look like—either we fall and the Mizukage continues his regime, or we win and can offer freedom to this country," she spoke, and nearly everyone nodded in agreement. Mei sighed and continued, "I wanted to give a speech to all of you, but there is someone more suitable than me, Naruto, can you take over?" She suddenly asked, causing everyone to look at Naruto.

"Hm?" Naruto was a bit surprised by this, after all, he hadn't expected to be called upon, especially to make a speech in such a manner. "Alright..." Naruto nodded finally, as he began to step forward and Mei stepped back.
"You wanted to change this country... it's time for you to gain the necessary political power," Mei said as she passed by him, and Naruto nodded; she had given him the chance to start earning it, although some leaders looked on disapprovingly, the more than 5 thousand ninjas in front of him did not seem hostile to it, after all, despite being a foreigner, Naruto had done a lot for the rebel cause.
He looked at everyone as he stopped at the edge of the platform, looking at each corner of the crowd facing him at that moment.
In Kiri, a huge group of ninjas was also gathered at that moment in one of the city squares, while ordinary citizens gathered around to see the preparations for the Mizukage's attack.
Behind a window in a building with a view of the place, two people were standing; the Mizukage looked at that scene with empty eyes, the masked man was by his side, looking at all the power he had accumulated since he began to dominate this country, now he was going to try to end the rebels and that Naruto.
"Let's begin," the masked man spoke as the three-tailed jinchuuriki seemed to return to a normal expression.
"Yes..." He calmly responded and began to walk away.
The Mizukage approached the high platform and was greeted by the elder ninjas who supported the cause of exterminating clans with Kekkei Genkai in the country.
"Kiri is a symbol of strength and power! It is through our dominion and control that we have maintained order. You, my warriors, are the true face of Kiri, those who protect our traditions and our legacy by eliminating those who harm our country. Do not let the rebels and their weak ideals stain our great nation," the Mizukage began speaking to his crowd in Kiri.
"Warriors of this country dominated by injustice and evil," at the same time, it was not the Mizukage who spoke, but Naruto at the rebel camp to the ears of everyone, while his voice echoed through the crowd in front of him.
"We may have lost much to these rebels in recent years, as they cause chaos around the country and attack our ninjas and ordinary people. I know many of you see this battle as unnecessary, but I say, Kiri will become a true nation and even though they seem powerful, we are still stronger and have not been able to stop them because they knew how to hide very well," the Mizukage continued.
"The time has come to fight for the future we all desire. Kiri has been a battlefield for too long, a place where hope was crushed by oppression and fear. Where what we find here are mostly survivors of the atrocities that this country brought in recent years," Naruto said firmly.
"But today..." the Mizukage.
"But today..." Naruto.
"We will finally launch an attack on their hideout. It is time to exterminate those who make this country weak; once that happens, a new Kiri will emerge, stronger than any other since its foundation," the Mizukage declared.
"We rise against this. Today, we fight not just for freedom, but for the right to live in a country where justice prevails," Naruto proclaimed.
"You, my loyal followers, know that true peace comes from strength and discipline, by eliminating loose ends. These children they mention will live in a safe and prosperous Kiri, protected by our firm leadership. There is no place for weakness in our vision of Kiri," the Mizukage concluded.
"There are those among us who doubt, who wonder if we can truly win. I tell you, it is precisely in the moments of greatest darkness that the light of hope shines brightest. We are not just soldiers; we are the last line of defense for our loved ones, for the children who hope for a better tomorrow, for all those who believe that a new Kiri is possible," Naruto spoke.
"I will be in the village, protecting our legacy, but I know that you will be enough to crush the rebellion. Because I know that our individual strength is unbeatable. We will fight to protect our Kiri from external influences and internal weakness," Mizukage said.
"I promise you, as I have always promised, that I will be on the front line. Not because I want to be a hero, but because I believe in each one of you. I believe in our strength, our determination, and our desire to see a Kiri free from the yoke of the tyrannical Mizukage," Naruto declared.
"Our victory is certain because we are disciplined and relentless. Fight with all your strength and show these traitors the true power of Kiri!" Mizukage proclaimed.
"Remember, victory is not just possible; it is inevitable if we stay united. Because this fight was never individual, the desire for a free country without atrocities comes from all of us, and together we are stronger!" Naruto said.
"Let us show these rebels and the world that the true strength of Kiri lies in our determination and our ability to crush any opposition. We will protect our home with tooth and nail," Mizukage stated.
"Let's show the world that Kiri does not bow before tyranny. Let's show that we are strong, that we are brave, and that we are unbreakable," Naruto rallied.
"Together, we will defend the greatness of Kiri. A story of power, control, and security. Forward, warriors, for the glory and defense of our beloved nation!" Mizukage concluded, and most of the people in front of him raised their voices.
"Death to the rebels!!!" the Kiri ninjas exclaimed.
"Together, we will write a new story for Kiri. A story of courage, hope, and freedom. Forward, my friends, to victory and a new dawn!" Naruto encouraged.
Naruto then raised his sword, inciting the crowd. The ninjas, now inspired and motivated, responded with cries of support and determination, ready to face the approaching challenge.
"For the freedom and justice of this country!!" the rebels shouted.
