On the coast, as the sun had not yet risen, explosions began to emerge at that moment, lighting up the night sky.
At the site where this was happening, chaos ensued as the ninjas tried to understand what was happening there, while seeing flashes pass by and comrades dying.
"What is this?!" A Kiri ninja asked in fright, seeing two comrades die at that moment.
BOOOOOMMMM!!! A huge explosion occurred, devastating a large part of the camp, making all the ninjas look in terror at that.
"This... it's him!!" One of the ninjas exclaimed, recognizing who had done this.
"He's really here!!" Another ninja complained.
"What should we do?!! Can we fight him?" Another ninja spoke.
"Of course we can face him, if I can kill him, I'll be famous!!" This ninja said, shortly before his head was severed from his neck, as he fell to the ground in front of the other ninjas looking terrified at that moment.
"We should run!!!" They exclaimed, jumping away, but while in the air, a flash passed through them and quickly eliminated them.
Naruto saw everything in slow motion, with his haki assisting him in each of the movements, he ran through the camp with his sword, killing groups of ninjas easily, some of the faster ones began to cast jutsu on him, but he was so fast and the jutsu, mostly water, were so easy to stop.
He landed on the ground at that moment, before running towards 4 ninjas wielding kunais in front of him and passed through all hitting just their shadows while he cut off all their heads for a quick death and as soon as he did, he jumped into the air with a water dragon destroying the ground where he had been.
He quickly maneuvered around the jutsu, traveling along it until he found the ninja who had summoned it, while he moved his sword and quickly eliminated him.
This continued for a while as some ninjas tried to flee and Naruto could control the entire situation with his haki, easily going after them and killing them before they could react, there was no mercy with these people, they hunted people with special gifts and massacred entire clans.
Naruto soon began to be known as the Executioner Blade throughout the country after certain events that happened a few months ago, most of the ninjas from Kiri were afraid of him, being that he could fight as well as the 7 Swordsmen of the Mist for the most pessimistic and those who had witnessed his power, could say that he was much stronger than the 7.
The moment Naruto had killed all the Kiri ninjas and completely cleared the enemies, a silence took over the entire atmosphere while the place had only sounds of water and explosions still in the air.
He massacred at least 120 ninjas here in less than an hour, while the sun finally began to rise from the east of Kiri, across the sea. Naruto threw his blade away, as it began to crack.
"I've been having this same problem for years... can't I get a blade that can withstand the power of my fruit?" He couldn't help but ask a bit frustrated, his gaze returned to the camp full of bodies as he headed towards where he felt the hostages were, approaching and opening the place.
He opened the place and saw them trapped in cells in an underground place where there were more hostages, many of these people being other captured people.
"You?!" One of the men, like others hearing all the explosions outside, had been waiting for what was happening there, while hoping not to die buried with the tremors happening, this man soon recognized Naruto as he passed by the cell of the rebel camp.
"I found you..." Naruto commented while quickly destroying the bars and beginning to remove all their chakra restraints, letting them mold their energy again.
"Help me free the others, are everyone here?" Naruto asked and the ninja nodded. What he found personally strange, after all, it was more rational for them to be sent to the village.
"Did they try to get any information from you or something?" Naruto asked.
"No... they just kept us here locked up..." He commented, helping Naruto to free the other rebels and the trapped people as well.
'This is suspicious... but there's nothing to be done...' Naruto thought and went back to freeing more prisoners.
They quickly organized as a group, moving slowly through the forest because neither Naruto nor the ninjas knew how to seal them in a scroll as Akame did.
'Maybe I should have brought her after all...' Naruto couldn't help but murmur, as it would take days before they returned to the hideout.
Meanwhile, in another place, a white man emerged from the ground at that moment. It was the village of the mist, but in a sewer below the city, as the rivers flowed through the place, the man put on his mask and looked at the Zetsu that had arrived.
"How did it go...?" He asked.
"According to plan, the hostages were rescued by Naruto Uzumaki, and they are heading to the rebels' hideout..." The white Zetsu spoke.
"That is good... can you track them?" Madara asked.
"Yes, they are with my spores... we can get their location easily." The Zetsu said with a smile, before showing a somewhat confused expression.
"Why are you so suddenly interested in these rebels?" He asked, after all, Madara didn't seem to care much about it, just leaving it to the Mizukage to handle without ever interfering.

"I never intended to concern myself with this..." Madara began. "My main goal has always been to weaken this country. If they fought among themselves, it would be even better..." He spoke calmly, but his tone became more dangerous now.
"But that ninja who faced me in Konoha, dealt with the Kiri ninjas and made Kisame retreat... he is a threat..." Madara knew he had to eliminate him as soon as possible. "For our plan to succeed, we must eliminate him." He said, as another shadow emerged from the shadows, being a black Zetsu and another white one with a green carapace over the head, but open.
"Yes... we must eliminate him." The black Zetsu spoke with an even darker tone than Madara.
"Are you still angry with him, for having cut us off?" The white Zetsu looked curious as he asked cheerfully to his dark side.
"He shouldn't have found us that day, but he did... he is a threat we must destroy as soon as possible!" His voice echoed through the place while Madara nodded.
"Yes, we intend to do that... I will prepare a group of ninjas to end the rebels once and for all in the coming months." Madara spoke, after all, he discovered that Madara was with the rebels a few months after hearing about the Executioner Blade, someone with incredible powers of light, which made him investigate and discovered that Naruto abandoned the mercenary name for the original with the name of his mother's clan.
Madara left the room at that moment continuing with his kamui abilities and went to the Mizukage's room.
He found him there standing, with no other ninja in the place, "I want you to summon a large force of ninjas, for us to depart for an attack with full force, do you believe you can gather that force in how much time?" Madara asked and the Mizukage with empty eyes didn't move before answering.
"3 months we can do this." He said and Madara nodded.
"That is good..." Madara commented and looked at the village in front of him from the other side of the window. "My intention was to prolong this war, but I have the chance to finally kill him, but I still hope to destroy this country..." He said with a dark tone before continuing to murmur alone with his tone becoming softer. "I will avenge this country for what it did to you, hear me... Rim." He said, looking at the thousands of lives he intended to destroy.
Days passed and Naruto finally arrived near the camp escorting the group, but he did not enter the area, he returned to the rebel ninjas commanding a group of 30 other people, survivors of the massacre of his clan or simply suspects.
"You, stay here. I need to do something." Naruto suddenly spoke, while the ninjas, unable to do anything else, agreed with Naruto.
He jumped into the air after moving away from the camp and disappeared using geppo, flying to the rebel camp, he finally arrived in the middle of the mist passing through all the sentinels and descended into the middle of the camp.
Mei was lying in her bed wearing just a nightgown, having decided to rest a bit earlier today. Until she finally felt a presence in her tent turning quickly while looking at Naruto standing there.
"What do you think you're doing?!" She exclaimed with a dissatisfied tone as she grabbed a blanket and covered her body.
"You certainly are a beautiful woman, but I am here for something else." Naruto spoke with a serious tone, unconcerned about seeing her in that state; he just wanted to discuss something that could compromise the security of the camp.
Seeing Naruto's serious demeanor, she put aside her slight blush and sighed before looking at him with an equally serious tone. "What is it? We heard about what you did, but we didn't see your group approaching." She said.
"Our intention is to advance here secretly, so don't be surprised; the group is larger than just a few rebel hostages. Moreover, they weren't interrogated... There's something strange, we didn't find any patrol looking for us either... even after I massacred the entire camp..." Naruto spoke, and Mei narrowed her eyes.
"You're saying that..." She murmured.
"Yes, they're using these hostages and prisoners to find us. I haven't brought them here yet, but they are in the region and the ninjas know our location." Naruto spoke, and Mei appeared thoughtful.
"Is there a traitor among them?" She asked.
"If it were so, it would be easy... but no... it's something even worse..." Naruto commented as he pulled a scroll from his clothes.
"Can you extract something from this?" He asked as Mei looked slightly confused and finally took the scroll. She opened it, no longer caring about being in a nightgown in front of a boy like Naruto, though she didn't consider him as such, and used her jutsu.
Smoke appeared and a head emerged, but not just any head, a Zetsu, which Naruto had asked Akame to preserve its head when he fought Kisame.
"What is this thing?!" Mei couldn't help but exclaim, startled upon seeing a Zetsu for the first time.
"I don't exactly know what it is yet... but it works with the man who controls your Mizukage... I've faced them when I fought him many years ago... You could say they are a kind of fungus... I can't explain well, but these things had entered me without me realizing and I managed to destroy them later, but I didn't notice them, they are invisible to me and even to anyone here..." Naruto commented while Mei looked thoughtful.
"Do you think this thing is inside the prisoners?" She asked.
"Yes... If it's that man, he might be using this tactic to find the hideout, which is perfect... I cleaned my body before coming here, but I doubt others can, and eventually, we will be exposed." Naruto spoke earnestly, not believing they could continue hiding with ninjas coming and going from the place, he could still cleanse himself by heating his body with light, eliminating anything that wasn't his own organism, a trick he learned after the night of the Uchiha massacre and being so bothered by these things.
"What do you think I should do...?" She couldn't help but ask, her voice a bit nervous due to the gravity of the situation.
"First you, as I said, there's no escaping this if these things are at play, so it's better to bring the people here than to leave them in danger out there. When the ninjas arrive, we should have a total fight, and it will take some time before Kiri can muster an army to attack us." He spoke.
"Anyway, I'll leave you here to think about this, their location is on this map, look at this head as much as you like, but give it back to me later, I'm going to my tent." Naruto spoke and left, while Mei was trying to absorb everything she just heard from Naruto now, she couldn't even complain that he had just ruined her night of rest when the situation was so urgent.
