RIP Akira Toriyama...
Akira Toriyama, creator of the Dragon Ball franchise, leaves us today. I just wanted to express my condolences for the loss of a legend who created a work that made my childhood.
[Chapter Size: 1900 Words.]
Third Person POV
Konoha.
...
...
Naruto returned home after that, confident that Itachi was no longer following him and continued on his way walking calmly.
He encountered no trouble and entered the family property, the place was protected by a barrier created by his mother, capable of detecting any intruding chakra like the village barrier. However, Minato could easily bypass this system, even though Kushina had not been able to list their son as a "Resident" of the barrier, he could circumvent these systems without having chakra.
The same was true with sensors, if Naruto did not want to be found, he would simply vanish from everyone's sight and no one could find him. He often did this to troll the elite ninjas his father had assigned to watch over him, and his father couldn't even scold him, as they considered it a failure of the special ninjas.
As soon as Minato entered the property, he quickly reached his house, it was mid-afternoon. Minato had not had a meal with his sisters today because he had gone to a restaurant. So his sisters would be furious with him, which happened quickly as he approached his house.
Mizu and Sora were waiting for him at the front door, Mizu with a calmer look, while Sora always had a more serious expression.
"Naruto! Where have you been?! We've been looking for you everywhere!" Sora said, crossing her arms.
"I went to Teuchi's, just wanted to take a walk," Naruto replied calmly.
"Naruto, we've told you we don't want you going out alone, people can be very cruel..." Mizu said.
It was no secret to the family how Naruto was viewed in the village, while the sisters were seen in a good light, despite being Jinchuurikis, Naruto was viewed with disdain, although outwardly some showed respect for the child.
"You talk about people, it's fine, have you finished your training? I'm going to my room to read something," Naruto said simply and walked ahead into the house, the sisters just sighed watching their brother enter the door.
"Why does he always act like this, isn't he afraid someone might attack him?" Mizu asked, looking at Sora.
"He's always like this, we can't change Naruto, but we need to protect our brother..." She said firmly.
"Why does everyone treat him this way, what's the problem with him being a civilian, even being the Hokage's son?" Mizu mused more to herself than asking Sora.
"Someone is spreading rumors in the village, sister, someone wants to harm us and is targeting Naruto, you know rumors about us two started spreading, but dad quickly managed to control the situation, but Naruto is a point someone is exploiting..." Sora commented.
"Mom always says to stay close to him, we must protect him."
"Yes, with or without chakra, he is our blood, just as you are to me, Naruto is my brother and that doesn't change the fact that he doesn't have chakra or is incapable of being a ninja."
While the sisters were discussing Naruto, he was oblivious to this conversation as he entered his room and picked up some more books to read. He had personal access to the family's large library, but his interest was never in jutsus or things related to chakra, except for anatomy when he was studying the human body of this world.
"What shall we read... I think I'll go back to reading about the geography of the continent," Naruto picked up the book he was reading that morning and opened it again.
Hours passed and night soon arrived at the Namikaze residence, and with it, Kushina and Minato finally appeared for dinner with their children.
"We're home!" Kushina announced cheerfully.
"Mom!" Mizu and Sora ran to greet their parents at the door, while Naruto came out of his room to greet them too.
"My daughters!" Kushina said as she embraced both daughters at the same time.
"Naruto." Minato approached Naruto, who stood calmly with a small smile. He ruffled his son's hair and looked at the book in his hands. "You seem very engaged in your studies," he commented with a smile.
"I like it, I'm curious about all the places this world has to show," Naruto said in his usual tone. He wasn't as imperious as his sisters, but definitely not a sad and shy boy.
"That's good..." Minato said, turning to talk to his daughters, and Kushina went to hug Naruto.
"How has your day been, wait. Let's have dinner first! I'll prepare something and then you can tell me about your day!" Kushina said, kissing Naruto's cheek and heading to the kitchen.

While Kushina was preparing dinner for the family, Naruto sat on the couch reading his book, his sisters were immersed in their training, and Minato went to deal with some documents in his personal office or to organize the storeroom.
After Kushina called them, everyone sat down calmly for their meal. "So, tell me about your day, Jiraiya-Sensei said you are improving," Minato commented, looking at the sisters.
"Yes, we're trying to control our Uzumaki chains, but it's so difficult..." Mizu said.
"Difficult for you!" Sora retorted.
"Of course, you want to explode everything with them, Jiraiya-Sensei has a lot of trouble with you attacking him like that," Mizu said, laughing.
"Anyway, the academy starts in a few days, I'm sure you'll do great there, Dattebane!" Kushina encouraged her daughters but couldn't help looking at Naruto with a hint of sadness, wondering if he was affected by not attending the academy like his sisters.
"And you, Naruto, what did you do today?" Minato tried to lighten the mood, although Naruto didn't seem bothered.
"I was reading the book you saw and went out for a bit," Naruto said.
"Went out?" Minato asked and looked at the daughters.
"He went to the village alone," Mizu commented.
"Naruto! What have I said about going out alone?! You should go with one of your sisters!" Kushina immediately scolded.
"I'm fine, Mom, I'm not made of glass," Naruto said, rolling his eyes. His mother was very overprotective.
"Still, we don't want you to take risks, things have been complicated lately..." Minato commented apologetically.
"Just promise me you'll call someone next time, and about your book, what are you reading?" Kushina changed the subject, asking about the book Naruto had.
"I was reading about the continent and its geography."
"Really, you're interested in that?" Kushina asked.
"Yes, I want to explore many of these places, even if they are in other countries. I still plan to go to these places," Naruto said confidently.
"That sounds exciting..." Kushina commented, not believing Naruto could do that, but didn't want to hurt her son's feelings.
"Indeed, I'm sure Naruto could visit many places," Minato commented, believing his son could travel as a traveler or merchant, but would have to hide his Namikaze name, as his enemies could use Naruto to get to Minato and the leaf.
The Namikaze family continued enjoying their meal while talking until the end of the meal, after which everyone went to bed.
The days continued to pass, and the routine remained the same, the sisters trained with Jiraiya, a great friend of the family and godfather of the Hokage's children, while in the afternoon they studied to prepare for the academy. Naruto stayed at home reading more books from the library while watching his sisters train.
Then the day of the academy finally arrived, and Naruto accompanied his mother taking his sisters to the bustling first day. The academy started with a speech made directly by the former Hokage, Sarutobi Hiruzen, who gave a speech every year to new students despite being a retired Hokage. All the children seemed happy with his speech, after which the academy began and Naruto and Kushina said goodbye to Mizu and Sora. People looked at the Namikazes with admiration, always drawing attention when the family was in public, but as soon as only Naruto remained with his mother, negative comments began to arise.
"Look... The Hokage's son can't even get into the academy."
"Is he really their child? I think he's adopted."
"What a waste..."
Kushina heard this and was about to attack those people who made such comments, but Naruto squeezed her hand.
"Mom... it's not worth it, let them say what they want, we can't change that..." Naruto said, surprising Kushina with his maturity.
"Yes, son. Let's leave this place where there are bad people," Kushina said, and they headed back to their residence.
Upon arriving, Kushina said goodbye to Naruto. "Naruto, I have to go to my job in the village's sealing department. There's food in the fridge and I believe you won't need anything else, please stay safe, I will return as soon as I finish my work," Kushina said with a tone of concern. Naruto would be left at home alone, or almost alone, as his father had placed an Anbu to watch over him, and Naruto had already detected the man in a tree near the house, motionless and just observing.
Naruto received a kiss from his mother, and she left the house while he went inside. It was only mid-morning, he continued reading his book, and ate when he got hungry in the middle of the day.
"I'm tired of reading..." Naruto said, looking at the book. He had started reading a book about the ninja war but got bored. "Ninjas use such cunning attacks, always trying to surprise their opponent. I don't like that... I prefer to attack head-on and win with brute force..." Naruto commented. He looked at the sun through the window and then at the forest for a moment.
"Staying at home is so boring..." he continued to murmur, "Kakashi is also very boring, I still wonder how he can stay in that position all day and how he can wear that ugly dog mask..." Naruto said, unaware that Kakashi had no idea what the boy was talking about, otherwise, he would have fallen from the tree, stunned by such a comment.
'Well... if that's the case, I'll go out for a bit...' Naruto thought and stood up from his room. He seemed like he was going to the house's library, but instead, he used the back doors and began to leave. He looked at the forest in front of him from a position where Kakashi couldn't see him.
Naruto bent his legs and jumped into the air, disappearing the next moment using Soru and Geppo. He was now flying over 300 meters above the house and continued to ascend higher and higher.
Kakashi felt a disturbance in the air above the house and quickly looked up to a height of 50 meters. He was so focused on the house that he only saw a glimpse. He continued looking up and quickly circled the house but didn't see any disturbance at the spot, then returned to his normal position, unaware that a 6-year-old boy was flying over the skies of Konoha at that moment.
