Chapter 67 - Jill Hoshigaki.

[Chapter Size: 1800 Words.]

Third Person POV

The Land of Sea.

...

...

Naruto was surrounded by children this night as he told them stories of a distant world surrounded by waters, recounting battles between sailors and pirates.

"There was a pirate who could remove parts of his body?!" the children exclaimed while Naruto smiled.

"Yes, he dressed as a clown while being all clumsy, but he always managed to escape because he was very strong against the forces of justice..." Naruto commented as the children looked on, fascinated, but soon someone was doubtful.

"Wait... Naruto-San... What is a clown?" they asked, confused and unfamiliar with the term.

"You don't know them..." Naruto said, a bit puzzled. "They have big red noses and get upset when we touch on this subject." he continued as the children began to laugh at that.

"A clown is someone with a red nose... how funny...!" the children exclaimed.

Naruto felt someone approaching them, as he was surrounded by children and Akame was also with him, a boy a few years younger than him appeared, staring intently at Naruto as he approached and sat near where the younger children were.

Naruto knew immediately that this was the young boy he had saved at the last moment while killing enemy ninjas. But Naruto was more focused on telling more stories of pirates and sailors with strange powers to them.

He continued telling stories until he was exhausted. "Well, now it's time for you to rest, you must do your duties in the camp, remember that," Naruto said as the children nodded, after all, Naruto had given them some exclusive tasks, like taking care of a small garden, so they could spend some time occupied and playing with each other without disturbing the camp while running around.

"Yes!! Let's go!"

"Wait for me!!"

They started to run off, leaving only Naruto and Akame, while Naruto turned his gaze to the only child who hadn't left, with the boy from before looking at him.

"Can I help you, Young man?" Naruto asked.

"You don't look much older than me..." the child began. "How are you so strong?" He didn't hesitate to ask this directly to Naruto, while Naruto scratched his head a bit, knowing this profile well, as the camp was full of people seeking revenge at any cost.

"I won't tell you to simply train hard, there are people who are stronger and others who are weaker, training always helps, but you must rely on other people too, this camp is a union of both strong and weak people, we have a common goal to free this country from the clutches of the Mizukage and this regime..." Naruto spoke as he passed by. "Remember, this group of united people makes us stronger."

He spoke, not knowing very well how to deal with people like this, he had to be realistic, there will always be a weak person and a strong person, it's not the idea that makes you strong, but like the navy, weak soldiers and strong soldiers form the force on the sea to protect the world from evil.

Akame watched him leave and the boy sat there thoughtfully, she knew Naruto had a meeting with Mei in his tent tonight, he walked through the camp to the main tent, arriving there with Hozuki Seijun coming out of the tent at that moment, his gaze falling on Naruto for a moment, the man was never someone who liked Naruto's presence, quite the contrary, he believed that Naruto was a bad influence on the Rebels, and many people shared that kind of thinking, but with Naruto's actions, the majority of the camp began to see him as one of their own, after all, what he did in 6 months, was more than the majority of the camp had done during all these years.

'What a petty old man.' Naruto thought to himself as he passed the man with a poker face, while the latter seemed to click his tongue before going somewhere in the camp.

Naruto entered the tent after the guards let him pass and found the woman with a stressed and tired demeanor, as he approached, she looked up at him before sighing.

"I hope you had a better night than mine," she murmured.

"I can't complain," Naruto merely commented. "Is that old man still making his nonsensical demands?" Naruto asked calmly.

"You know him..." Mei cracked a smile at Naruto with that before returning to a tired expression. "But he's the least of our problems. Maybe I should go listen to your stories any night to relax, after all, the kids say such good things about your creative tales that they start talking about being those kinds of sailors..." She commented, smiling faintly.

"Good thing they don't want to be pirates, otherwise I'd be worried..." Naruto remarked. "Anyway... How are the children we rescued?" He asked.

"They're okay, traumatized like most who arrive, but these had an even worse experience... unfortunately," she commented. "Still, I'll try to work with them... They come from various clans we thought were destroyed, so it was a great rescue," she added.

"Yes. You can handle this," Naruto agreed, knowing Mei had her own leadership charisma; she would take care of the children.

"Well, let's get to the important stuff," she said, and Naruto approached the table, looking at the map. There were various points with pieces placed, marking where there was a higher concentration of Kiri troops.

On the west side, there was a large number of these pieces, with a large number of shinobi trying to catch any fugitive heading to the main continent of the other four elemental nations.

"Here's my headache..." Mei pointed to the same camp of Mizukage's ninjas.

"What's there this time?" Naruto asked.

"We have some captured rebel members there, we need to get them before they can report on the camp and that would be our end," she commented now with a tone of concern and urgency in her voice.

"I see... Leave it to me," Naruto said, and it was no surprise that Mei would ask for his help, she sighed.

"You really can handle this? I know you just came back from a mission," she commented, and he nodded.

"I can handle this," Naruto said.

"You might want to ask Jill for more information," she suggested.

Naruto talked with her about some other matters and then left, but he didn't go to his own tent, instead heading to a tent in another corner.

A girl was sleeping at that moment, sprawled on the bed with her legs and arms open, snoring. That didn't last long because she suddenly got hit in the face with a pillow, causing her to scream in fright.

"WHAT IS THIS?! ENEMY ATTACK?!" she exclaimed oddly, until she saw the assailant with the pillow.

"NARUTO! HOW DARE YOU DO THIS TO ME?! AND HOW DO YOU ENTER A WOMAN'S TENT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT, YOU PERVERT, PERVERT, PERVERT!!!" She began to shout as she hit her legs on the bed, wearing a nightgown and panties, exclaiming at Naruto.

"Don't be so annoying. I need some information about a mission," Naruto said, scratching his ear from the girl's shouting.

"COULDN'T YOU WAIT UNTIL TOMORROW!!!???" she yelled, looking angrily at Naruto.

This woman is Jill, a petite woman from Kisame's clan, the shark that Naruto fought; she had slightly bluish skin, but not as much as that swordsman of the mist, but her shark teeth were visible and large as she made angry poses at Naruto.

Jill was responsible for the camp's intelligence, gathering all the information due to her high capacity to process information. Naruto had become quite familiar with her due to his more suicidal missions for most of the camp's ninjas; he wasn't concerned about waking her up half-naked.

"I'm leaving tonight, I need information," Naruto said, while she stopped exclaiming and looked at Naruto confused.

"You're leaving tonight? But your team just got back today!" She said, not understanding.

"I'm going alone, I need to rush to the coast, after all, I'm going to save the captured rebels," Naruto explained.

"This mission?! You're going to the enemy camp alone?" she exclaimed, baring her shark teeth.

"Yes, I can handle it. After all, I even asked Mei to launch a direct attack on the Mist Village, but she insisted and said she doesn't want the rebels to be seen as bad people..." he commented.

"Okay..." she murmured and jumped off her bed, landing on the floor, then ran to a table, rummaging through all her papers, and found what she was looking for seconds later, returning to Naruto with the paperwork.

"Here are all the details of the hostages and their faces, save everyone and eliminate them, so they don't pass important information to the enemy," she said, looking at Naruto with serious eyes, while he nodded.

Jill was pragmatic; after all, between leaving someone alive who might destroy the camp or killing them even if they were an ally to protect others, she would choose the second option, but Naruto didn't like this thought of the Shinobi system, although he had to be realistic if it compromised the security of the entire camp, leading to its destruction.

He looked at the photos of the hostages and nodded, handing them back to Jill, having memorized all the faces. "Can you tell Akame that I'm traveling?" Naruto asked, and Jill got irritated.

"You want me to tell that to the Uchiha?! Do you want to kill me?!" she exclaimed, knowing how Akame would not like to hear the news of Naruto going out alone.

"You go tell her! You heard, go to your tent and tell her, come on, come on!" Jill started chasing Naruto out.

"Are you going to run around the camp like that?" Naruto asked, turning his face.

Jill immediately turned red and ran back to her tent, making sure no one saw her in her underwear. "YOU JERK, JERK!!" she screamed with her teeth, making Naruto almost laugh at the situation, but he simply bent his knees and disappeared the next moment without a flash of light, as a flash would attract attention both from inside and outside in the middle of the night.

Naruto continued through the rest of the night, flying over the country until he finally reached the coast a moment later. He looked satisfied seeing the set of lit torches, and this night would be quite bad for them, after all, he still had a few hours before dawn, and Naruto wanted to make sure that he would eliminate them all before the morning began; he disappeared the next moment.
