"So what do you think?" Aletta gave both boys a look as they walked out from the police department building.
"So, the victims imploded, one of them hit their head on something and they had a mental breakdown before they died?" Jason listed while counting with his fingers.
"A Malevolent.. and a powerful one" Aletta replied solemnly.
"Eh?" Jason was taken aback.
"Malevolents can make someone implode? how is that even possible?" Jason was taken aback..
Unlike the Siblings, he could see the ecto threads that gave Malevolents their telekinetic abilities. Although they were visible, that didn't mean they were not tangible!
"We are looking at a potential level 9 Malevolent or even level 10. Compared to the level 2 Malevolent you dealt with.. this one is the real deal, capable of killing within the blink of the eye.. not to mention it can influence the mind as well.. that is something that only high level Malevolents can achieve"
"Do you think we should ask for backup?" Aletta gave her brother a look.
Level 10 Malevolents were terrifying existences, even for them!
However, Stephen shook his head stubbornly.
"Since the Headquarters trusted us with this mission.. it means they have confidence in our skill. We shouldn't betray their faith in us "
"But there's a high chance we are going to die! and you are a close ranged type of fighter.. and perhaps Jason as well. No matter what angle I look at this from, you both have a high chance of not surviving "
Stephen smiled calmly.
"Which is why we are going to increase our chances. I'll call Jimmy to send us blessed Guns. At the same time we'd set up a trap made out from mountain ash. Once trapped, the Malevolent would be completely vulnerable whether it is at level 10 or 100. Once we complete this assignment, think of the amount of achievement points we are going to earn. I see a bright future ahead of us where we spend our time in fine beaches once every three months!"
While the siblings were arguing amongst themselves, Jason was trapped in his own line of thoughts.
"That Crocotta I killed was a level 4 Yokai and killing it earned me 800 mystique coins. If this is a level 10 Malevolents, I wonder how much mystique coins I am going to earn? A thousand? Two thousand! damnit! I can't wait!"
The trio spent a couple minutes indulging in their personal fantasies before they snapped back to reality. Although they all wished to take down the level 10 Malevolent, each one of them for their own separate reasons, there was something they all agreed on; The Malevolent was a lot more terrifying than the foes they've faced in the past.
As such, they all decided to prepare precautions to enable the smooth execution of the operation kill Level 10 Malevolent. Stephen volunteered to prepare the artillery.. blessed Guns, bullets, mountain ash and the formation they were going to trap the Malevolent in.

While he did this, Jason and Aletta were going to cross check and discover enough clues that could give them the ability to predict where the Malevolent was going to strike next. If they didn't know where the Malevolent was going to strike next, they would lose the element of surprise. That would lower their normally low fighting chance..
After going through their game plan, Stephen rode off with the car to get the supplies, leaving Jason and Aletta standing at the walkway as they watched the car vanish into the distance.
"He's gone now" Aletta suddenly became solemn.
"What's it?" Jason asked when he noticed her sudden countenance switch.
"Dealing with this Malevolent isn't as easy as it might seem. For example, he forgot to check for ectoplasmic activity while at the morgue"
Aletta brought out an ecto reactor.
"I did"
"And?" Jason tilted his head.
"I found nothing.. nada. I am afraid what we are dealing with isn't a Malevolent.. I think it is something much more worse!"

"My name is Dracula and I claim you as my blood slave.. hisss!!"
"No!! Ahhh!!"
Inside a fully packed cinema, more than half of the audiences shrieked in horror as they watched an horrifying scene off a newly released movie; Dracula Tales Of Fangs.
"Mommy.. I don't want to watch anymore. Let's go" a little boy amongst the crowd of audiences, tapped his mother on the shoulder, while sporting an uncomfortable expression.
"D-Don't be scared G-Gary.. it's just a movie.. yeah.. just a movie" although this was what the mother was saying, her teeth were rattling terribly while her legs underneath her skirt was trembling as well.
"But I want to go!" the little boy named Gary cried, this time increasing the volume of his voice.
"A-Alright. But this is going to be the last time you are ever going to the movies!" Gary's mother became embarrassed when she felt the stares she was receiving..
Standing up, she and her son were just about to step out from the cinema hall when the exit door suddenly slammed shut.
Boom!
"It's so cold mummy" Gary cried out as he hugged his chest with his arms.
"Huh?" the several audiences began to notice something was wrong when they began exhaling cold mist.
"Why did the temperature suddenly drop? is it snowing outside?"
"Idiot. Winter is still a month away "
"Then why the hell is it cold in here smartass?"
While the audiences began musing amongst themselves regarding the change in the temperature, someone among the crowd suddenly screamed.
"Look! the screen!"
Following the shriek, many eyes trailed over to the cinema huge screen. Lo and behold, the Dracula character slowly stepped out, inhaling deeply as he spread his arms apart like he was trying to embrace the world.
"My name is Dracula and I claim you all as my blood slaves!!!" He cried out his iconic phrase before suddenly disappearing.
Only to appear besides one of the audience who happened to be a chubby man whose face was stained with pop corn powdered milk .
"D-Dracula?"
Before the many could react, Dracula slit his throat with his sharp claws before dashing towards another target. It was only after Dracula killed five more people did the others finally snap out from their daze.
"Run!" it was unknown who screamed out this suggestion, but the entire hall broke into a stampede, with people knocking away chairs as they raced for the door, while enduring the screams behind them as Dracula flashed around the hall like a ghost, slitting the throats of the slow ones.
"F*ck! the damn door is locked!" Someone finally arrived at the door with a relieved smile, only to discover that no matter how hard he pushed, the door refused to budge.
"We need to get out of here before that monster kills us!"
"Idiot! someone intentionally locked the door from outside! we are doomed!"
"No!!"
"If I ever escape, I will burn all my Dracula collections!!"
While the crowd were struggling to break out of the hall, Dracula rapidly blitzed around the hall. Who ever he passed had their throats ruthlessly slit. In under a short span, the whole hall was already filled with a river of blood and corpses with slit throats.
While all this chaos occurred, a silhouette watched all this from the shadows
