Interlude Kelvin
“Let’s see what I should redesign first a new bookcase or mystic bone chandelier. What do you guys think? I’m stuck on my decision... Oh, right, I sent you out on a mission. Hmmm… I’m not used to being alone down here. Well never going to admit that to my monsters. Let’s see how long they have been gone, a week? Maybe a year. I don’t do time well. It’s only been a day. A day! Just one day, it felt like ages. Just how much do I get involved with my work? That I can’t tell a day from a year. Calm down, Kelvin, find your center, deep breaths. I feel like a lune now talking to myself. Oh hey, a notification, combat logs, sweet, haven’t seen one of those since; how long ago again? No Kelvin! Do not go down that rabbit hole. You’re better than that. Let’s just see what they have killed. Human Bandit X3 Dwarven Bandit X3 Elven Bandit X2. Bandits, those aren’t Adventures, but they are worth the experience, so I’m not going to complain. If anything, it shows that I am a super genius. My plan is working flawlessly. Now let’s check my XP bar. Aww, so close to level two. These early levels for dungeons are easier than I remember, but those later ones, yikes, will be something. But on a positive note, I know what to do ‘hehe’ a new archway for the stairs to the second floor. Oh, do I have plans for that stairway, and why not add a new, more extensive library? Yes, it’s coming together.

As the hours passed somewhat silent in the dungeon.
“Look at the detail on this! Hmmm, I will have to have them come back and marvel at my work. It’s not like it wouldn’t be beneficial. I made them smart, well, most of them. So they should have some loot for me to consume and add to my collection. That’s obviously the main reason, yes, the main reason. Oh, look, another notification, more combat. Brown bear cub X1. They killed a baby bear, neat, sad but neat because I leveled up. Okay, gotta keep focus and customize my monsters first then begin the next floor.
