Big battle where the ship takes immense damage and they are forced to call off their expedition. Many die. They return to Johto. Their family wants them to come back home and give up being trainers as it is too dangerous. The girls being more mature refuse and justify their decision as they will take the normal gym challenges and they will be far safer in a non-black zone.

Girls travel the normal routes and challenge and defeat the gym leaders (50-100 chapters)

They fight the elite 4 beat the current Champion and gain champion status. Side story content diverging from the main character.

The expedition starts back up and they request to rejoin the expedition.
